was Magnus' return treated the same way as Fulgrim's seems to be in universe?
He came back before Guilliman
Thank you
It was a big deal because it was leading into a lot of stuff
Yeah it was a lot less "and heres a primarch"
It’s sorta forgotten because of that but yeah he was the start of that whole big cascade of events
Is a Googling a small egg then ?
now its been a lot more standardized
was there this whole "he is goingto come back and shake everything up" that seems to be happening with Fulgrim?
Uhhh kinda
but like
that happens with EVERY release
its to build up fake hype so people buy stuff
fair
They always get something big to do, Lion arguably for the least to do funnily enough when he came back but he’s doing some stuff
Yea in Magnus' case stuff actually happened but now it largely doesn't matter because 40k is built on WWE wrestling formats to a degree.
"He'll be back for Round 2"
the setting must move at a rate that makes tectonic plates look like F1 cars
i know, im only partly joking
Angron got his Arks book and the novel with him in it. Mortarion and DG got a whole massive war, Magnus was invoked when Guilliman returned to Terra and stuff like Warzone Fenris beforehand.
lol ik but still
Yeah its kinda dependant
Morty and Angron prob did the most
Magnus was kinda whatever
Compared to how it used to be?
did the setting even move at all?
Kids these days don’t know how good they have it
Basically no
It all got stuck at the 13th
2 minutes from midnight style
make no mistake its good the setting is moving and GW is right to move slow
and it did, for the most part
I preferred when it just wasnt but people need entertainment
you can only do so many pointless wars/campaign supplements
It took like 30 years to actually move it forward
atm the plan is like the same as usual
Make Warzones
Make Campaign Events
Slowly introduce Primarchs
we'll be a good 10 years with this
or like more idk
all 18 will be back in action at some point i feel
Rn they’re building up to the big Pariah Nexus thing, which will probably lead into what Fulgrim is doing
Which will probably involve the PLs
Very much so yes
Fulgrim is up first
Russ will prob come later
I forgot how much money SW make
so idk
Which will probably lead into Russ early next edition
Yeah that
SW update is actually huge if the leaks are true
Yea after that we will basically go from Most Popular Primarchs to Least Popular release-wise
so after Russ who comes next idk, maybe Corvus
actually prob Lorgar my bad, then Corvus
the Khan, as a super pain engine :P
its hard to guess because they dont have their own armies

Ferrus and Sanguinius im sure they'll find some way to bring back to but it'll be prob like 15 years from now lol
Sang will just be Sanguinor but Bigger, Ferrus idk Big Robot Metal Gear Man
they gona turn him into an AI basically and he will hate it
We’ll see, they’ve said they had a plan for one primarch every five years prior to Covid. Some of this is making up for lost time there.
They’re not interested in rushing things
So idk
Nah im sure they wont
what little i know about Iron Hands is that he will hate what his sons have become
it'll be something machine related 100% but Ferrus and Sang are like last-last
Sang maybe sooner but again dunno
its profits first before logic
I don’t know if they’ll ever bring either back for one
Its hard to guess
because like
on one hand
it doesnt make sense
on the other hand
money
so who knows
Maybe as like a spirit thing
always bet on the money
Yeah that
It is money, but it's also hype
like it will be some Marvel/DC bullshit 100% otherwise we'll see
With Sang they'll want to edge that release as long as possible
But idk, I doubt it. If all they wanted was money they’d be releasing a new primarch every year
For now yeah
Mr. Krabs is an archetypical executive
ferrus and dead primarchs are like leagues off atm
the alive ones both loyalist/chaos take priority
I assume they will be following the format of Chaos Primarch then Loyalist Primarch, so after Russ its prob Lorgar up next, then Corvus, thats my prediction atm
It's gonna be hype when the "Horus Redeemed" model releases in 5 years
thats how it has been
I’m not even convinced they’re doing all of the ones which are missing, they’re aware of how the narrative matters and build up works and they’ve said they’re also aware of how the more they bring back the less special it is so they wanna be careful with it
Never give full faith to corporations.
We'll see how they handle it first
i dont really care much as long as its largely done "ok" or just Well™️
Russ coming back as a mutated super Wulfen that then forces all the space wolves to become Wulfen but still have their sanity and ability to use their weapons would be priceless
If hes just 30k Russ But HD im gonna be very sad
i hope they take some mutation liberties
I have faith that they’re aware of how much the lore and diluting it is bad for their profits more so than releasing whatever character is
but like people will prob not like that lol
having him be human makes him more appleable to buyers
I think they’ll make him more of a Odin figure/rune priest dude
if im being honest i think Dorn is a little more likely than Russ
Loyalists don’t really have a powerful psyker character like that and it would make for a more interesting Magnus dynamic
Hah
No
Get your brain off TTS
the Imperial Fists just seem more popular than the space wolves is all
One sec
i might be wrong there idk
Armies with their own codexes get attention first
Imperial Fists aren’t even the most popular imperial fists chapter
nvm then
yeah lmao
weve been over this VULKAN is coming back next
its why E.Children took like 69 years to get updated
Yea Imperial Fists are pretty low tier popularity
no thats because GW is RACIST
i see what you did there

very allegorical i know

but no like yeah its why they got ignored for so long
Now this isn’t a set in stone study
GW might be a lot of things but they are also greedy theyll just bring back the primarch that sells the most figures
which is either vulkan or sangui
Now we wait, see what gets announced for the next preorder
This is jsut a poll from various events and what not
IRON HANDS DEADLAST LMAO
blood ravens in number 2 even all these years later?
still making the list is good enough
Yeah Iron Hands have generally always been last with RG, WS for 40k
RG, WS and IH sharing their 100th night in the pub drinking
IF is left out of the pub gathering because all they do is spout TTS memes
the fact the creator of it even remembered they exist is impressive
anyway fuck Imperial Fists
30k the numbers change a lot, Iron Hands and WS are way more popular there
I assume thats mostly due to meta stuff
or because people just like tanks
which like
understandable

Damn, so all the mods hang out in this chat
the only thing im surprised about is the blood ravens
All
Its just me 💀
IH find a way to become OP every edition
There’s someone at GW who likes us
IH when they arent allowed to bomb a children hospital (their gigachad status has been revoked)
Is rinda Karnak mutating?
It’s largely I think their chapter theme is easy to make rules for a be good
Because of what she ate
Toughness, vehicles, firing lines
Too much nurgle spinach
Durable units are strong, more at five
Every so often that Rogue Intern manages to slip in some rule changes
that implies she wasnt already mutated
So she is mutating right?
those rogue interns cant keep getting away with this
Yeah she is albeit gradually
Into what
There’s a couple GW guys who stan Iron Hands I know, but generally I think it’s jsut the chapter theme lends itself well to making rules and so sometimes you get super strong rules.
Also how did rinda survive by her brother didn't
Built different.
If vehicles or Techmarines are strong so are IH, if big boy gunners are so are IH, if into toughness is needed Iron Hands end ups strong
Idk man some are just liked by Nurgle more than the other
i am not sure her taunts about eating us where just ideal jabs, and its a well known fact that cannibalism leads to mutation in 40k
theres a reason she shit-talks her brother when you kill him first
I guess she became stronger because of all the cannibalism
saying he was "always the weakest"
Oh damn
As opposed to irl where it’s jsut delicious
Yeah if you kill her first Rodin is actually upset
she meanwhile "Lmao fucking loser"
What happens if you go the other way around?
Bruh
Yeah
LMAO
ngl IRL-accurate sibling dialogue
trust me i got 3 older brothers, I know

Her brother was a weapon specialist so he spent all of his time making weapons and not gaining those gains
they are twins after all
Yeah that too
Rinda sounds like a cunt
Can't wait to end her
and Rinda was likely the older one at that
Imagine your only sibling dying and you go like "Lmao fucking loser"
Rodin was basically responsible for a good amount of bio weapons that is being used by the moebians
Bro was a science nerd like me
his specialty in weapons basically made him not adept in physical related tasks
a fact he loved to remind us of
It's a shame he didn't survive
like he can shoot your head with amazing accuracy but the moment you go near him and hit his head you win
so much toxic gas
Man we really should have turned around and double tapped rinda just to be sure
tbf we are lucky we didnt get executed after that shitshow
it was a off the grid mission that wasn't sanctioned by rannick
zola was lucky she even got off mostly without punishment
a mission driven by info from a known compromized wyrmwood agent no less
Wait what
Zola walked us into a trap knowingly and willingly
Why was that wyrmwood agent compromised
Did they turn traitor
Dialogue?
no one knows because it's not specified they were just said to be compromised
yup
it can be many things
What's a wyrmwood btw
the spys feeding us intel on the cult and Mobian 6th
^
Ok
its like a moniker given to them
the agent in question ether turned traitor or got tortured until they agreed to send us the info

oh btw, i got the new class in Inquisitor Martyr, and omg he is short as hell
i wouldnt really call Martyr good
its ok
On top of my list are space Marine 2 and Rogue trader
both of them are good
Rogue trader is a must if you like CRPGs and or Warhammer
Why's that
Ok
Yeah it used to be not the best but like it has gotten a lot of f******touch ups
It's very good
It's aight
Ok
It has some fun moments but it's your generic run of the mill action game
i see talk about rogue trader
its a beautiful game
really done well with story telling, and u can mod it
its very based
More to come hopefully with their success too
Hoping we get other FFG system games
Playing an Inquisitor would be similar but could let them do more
i would love a AOS rpg made by them
if the warp spiders can escape their fate so can aos
I expect somewhere down the line we might see an AoS Tide game
We don't have AoS Total war
TT really isn't appropriate for a post WW1 system, like 40k
Allegedly they are working on a 40k one, but I imagine it’ll adjust the system a lot
I think it'll be very different from what we consider a TW
To the point that it wouldnt be one for the community.
Still think the best idea for a new series would be Grand Mythology.
Public Domain (no IP cost, though research cost)
Easy and interesting lord picks
Maybe, I think it could work better than people seem to think tbh
I was digging a bit about Imperium Nihilus.
So, if almost all communication and transportation between the two divided part of the Imperium is cut-off, Imperium can no longer use half of it's previous population for taxation, production, recruitment and everything, right?
So it's a more consequential tragedy than Horus Heresy?
Who leads the darker half (that's aligned with the Imperium, at least in spirit)?
Dante?
Dante
And sorta the Lion now
But Dante is the official Lord Regent
And the Lion is more interested in just going after traitors
Lord Commander I think, but yeah he leads that side, Guilliman is on the primary side
Nihilus is a lot more cut off from itself too and it’s hard to travel around, it’s apparently a commonly floated topic at the Indomitus war tables of just cutting their losses and getting out who they can and abandoning it
Does he have a meaningful grip over the parts he controls?
As much as he can
Communication is awful and it’s extremely hard to travel around with it
Maintaining a supply chain of agri world, forge world, hive world etc.
Or, the planets were adapted to become more self sufficient?
The lion coming back helps but it’s still a shit show
It depends, but generally on a system level places that could support themselves are OK but long-distance transportation becomes a mess
And is at best much slower
At worst impossible
Can you go around the great rift?
Most likely nothing... Space is vast
what is a aquila worth?
Varies, purchasing power isn’t the same everywhere and the don’t even use all the same currency across all worlds
broad est
2 Dollars
thank you witchfinder
the answer to "what lies outside the galaxy" is quite literally the opposite of "nothing", the answer is actually "everything else"
THAT WAS A JOKE
In reality a rough estimate would be like...
id say 20-30 bucks? Because like they are literally either silver or golden trinkets
hell even prob higher
it just kinda again as said above depends on the planet
The imperiums economy is so incredibly fucked if you tried to enforce a standard currency you would lose more of it
no yous a mod
Well yeah
it's very much true
Oh also 9/11 in Metaphor
it's two dollars
Which one
Oh the day
I don’t remember the days as much as with persona
What a non earth calendar does to me
Idelsday
Well
You’ll have to actually remind me what happens then
||Louis comes back to life||
Lul
Oh that happens then
Ok
I remember the order stuff happens but there are no seasons to remember the months by
This is true
The game also happens across 4 months instead of 9-10
I do think it’s really funny that they actually decide to escalate the plot for real on that date
Yeah
Also Strohl breaks the ATLUS best friend trope
By actually being smart and not socially inept
Husband material
Mhm
Also ||basillio|| is the best “late addition” party member they’ve done
By far
My only issue with him is he is a bit too perfect
Strohl?
Yes
Imo he very much has an ego
But he loses it like
After the heismay stuff
So yeah he does end up too perfect huh
I very much thought he was gona be a generic very snooty spoiled noble initially
But no
He gets his ego shredded by everything being fucked and introspection on his parents
I liked the change of perspective he had on them
Yeah
Oh also the bonds are way better then social links imo
Just in terms of format
8 levels + always leveling up + the general “format” of the events works way better
You don’t get filler levels
Like you did with social links where an entire level is basically a reaction to what happened the last one
Ryuji being reduced to a unlikable idiot instead of the well-designed idiot that he should have been outside of his story
Ryuji is likable imo
But he’s still worse then Junpei and Yosuke for Persona best friends
If you had to have one UFC fighter write a full length imperial guard novel. Who would it be?
Also. Of all the BL authors. Which ones have backgrounds in military/police/sports?
Idfk lol
I don’t watch UFC
Idk
fighting looks cool but i dont want to live with brain damage
One of them is a doctor apparently
i thought that was a football player
This showed up in my Twitter feed
In any case
Idk I don’t watch UFC
In fact I don’t watch many sports in general
I watch boring stuff like baseball
also literally Hannah Montanna situation
Idk, I like baseball, I like archery, I like basketball
Those 3
Sports ball, yeah! Do a goal.
Win the thing.
True we should bring back gladiatorial matches
LOL
The children yearn for blood
And make homeless people fight
or get mauled by tigers
that'll help the economy
right
Riot when your team either wins or looses, depending on how often that happens
I can already get that for free when I go to the poor side of town
Jake Paul went against Mike Tyson recently.
People seemed excited about that.
That enraged me
"...you bet on Shiraza as SOLE SURVIVOR, and that Ionian kid--sure he's missing an arm--but he ain't dead. Makes him a survivor, see? 'Course, you could always double down..."
as most people expected
Jake Paul is a gargantuan ass bitch
ngl I don't know what people were expecting
Taking on a 58 year old Tyson
Mike Tyson is an old ass man now
Tyson held back
Well yeah
^
but he's also old
He signed a contract clause to not go after Jake and knockdown/KO him
in any case I'm not sure what people were expecting
it was clearly
to make a ton of cash
I mean

For him to have the footwork to avoid 80% of Jake’s punches. Yet not go after him. That doesn’t line up
again it was a scheme to make money
Rigged? Come on, clearly Jake Paul has the skill and strength to overcome a man who was legendary for knocking people's heads off their shoulders.
I mean, sure, Mike slapped Jake that one time, implying he could have laid him out at any moment
Mike was always kind of a sellout so i wasnt too surprised
LMAO SHUT UP

Jake Paul is also mediocre and below average. Considering he has access to the world’s best trainers. And the most powerful PEDs that most Olympic athletes could only dream of attaining. And yet he still struggles against late 30s retired messed up MMA fighters and the almighty Tyson “love island” fury
baseball is wacky as hell
Dont even mention his name at this point honestly
guy is a walking NPC
your average mourningstar guardsman has more personality
Money can't make greatness
A bit of a rarity for me, but Flashgitz did a video on the fight before it came out and I actually enjoyed it.
people forgetting that internet drama is just as obsessive as being a super dedicated fan
it's all the same sort of famous people gossip shit you'd find in a magazine 10 years ago
He ducked:
George Foreman second wave
David Tua
Ike ibeabuichi
Ray Mercer
Johnny Nelson
Waited on Morrison and fight was finalizing as he got super AIDs
People were watching hoping Tyson was gonna snap and clobber him.
Instead they both made a shitload of money and we got to see Mikes ass
Also ducked Tim Witherspoon
I hope the money was worth it.
I mean, obviously, it was.
He made 20 mil. Same amount of money he made fighting blown-up light heavyweight Spinks
Once again people paying for streaming for stuff like this is peak meme
Hey chat what are we talkin about
in 40k are there humans with black colored eyes?
just wondering if the black colored eyes make sense on my ig character
Completely black eyes happen a lot as a result of generic mutations
ooo
yep, would fall into the bounds of acceptable mutations
Voidborn often have them
awesome
Tbf it was also just on Netflix
That’s a big reason it got such numbers
Yeah and it lagged/bugged out in the actual fight
which ngl is even funnier
im very glad i just slept and looked u pthe results later lol
I tried to watch a bit, I’m glad they’re testing it for when WWE goes to Netflix though
But I don’t they’ll reach that level of traffic again
Prob not but you never know I guess
If I recall, void born tend to have pupils that are so big that it almost looks like their eyes are fully black.
Eldar get no love in lore stick to AoS

army-wise idk i dont do tabletop
okay ill stick with sylvaneth pirate elves
whats antoehr elf i like

idk dok but i wouldnt have an army of them
a partner of mine does
I’m excited for them to get a regiment of renown
Their books are not half bad
they are just kinda one note because they suffer from the syndrome of "we made this from 1 WHF unit"
@rose thorn hows your space private simulator going
Huh? OH finals are soon so I’ve been busy w/ that
aaah ok
True.
In 40k context, as far as I know, the only things that mentioned to exist/have existed outside of the galaxy are:
- Tyranid Hivemind
- Silent King in self-exile
are there anything else?
I thought it was just the tyranid hivemind
Also is there just a giant Tyranid thats the main hivemind
Not that I ever recall hearing about. More like the gestalt consciousness of trillions of organisms.
You can "stop" them like you stop an infection. You might not ever completely eradicate it, just like orc spores, but you can keep it under control.
Might be easier too for the Tyranids, given how hard it seemingly is for them to put a bioship from the surface of the planet into orbit. Therefore, you just have to blow up their big ships, which is a lot easier compared to killing every last organism.
Unlike the Orcs which have better ability from getting from the surface of a planet into orbit and into interstellar travel.
I read that alpha level psykers have basically apocalyptic tier powers. What exactly can they do?
Besides exploding into daemons, depends on what their powers are oriented towards. The Burning Princess, shockingly a pyromancer, could burn through voidship armour. Malcador hid the moon Titan from reality
It depends on the psyker and what they’re good at
Some have much wider span of powers
Some hyper specialize
Depends, but generally they are pretty powerful.
So like an Alpha Psyker with telepathic focus could maybe mind control whole cities or planets
And by that I mean if you're on their shitlist. You probably should write your last will and testament now
what about one that really likes lightning?
technically under Biomancy
Massive warp storms
also that
technically psykers can much more than just spells
the problem is that uh usually those that do kinda...
get possessed
so they stick to spells primarily because it's easier
it's easier to think of a solid thing with steps rather than idk
smashing a Space Marine with a building sized bowl of ice cream
Like the Space Wolves chief librarian Njall can summon massive ice storms which strip ceramite and rend vehicles. And he’s probably not even alpha level.
Anyways, basically whatever you want or is called for
Alpha level is super rare
Malcador, Magnus, Big E were all off the scale anyways
basically unless if they're fighting chaos gods
or something powerfully chaos adjacent
they're gonna no diff
I don’t really think you can rate daemons on the scale
daemons are kinda weird
fits
they are CHAOTIC

They have levels of power and all that but generally the ones that are psykers are just
It fits better for beings in the materium
i wonder if any main character of 40k has a master crafted autogun
yeah being a powerful psyker will only help so much till Skarbrand powers through your magic and caves in your head
or Rotigus turning the ground beneath you into a rotting pus swamp
Sly Marbo
well
he's not a main character
he is a named one
He uses a autogun?
Autopistol
You mean those basic a** ballistic weapons that won't even scratch
Like a good chunnk of the things that the imperium fights?
Yeah that makes sense
I don't understand this short-
https://youtu.be/ojkkwxXlTfw?si=0r7OuidloyW8WZdA
What happened to these Orks?
"No reasoning with humans. Break ’em, kill ’em, eat ’em. That’s good. Don’t try to make ’em think. Can’t be done." 🟢

In part 1 on the War of the Beast, the Imperium encounter a powerful Ork W...
Nothing, this never happened
What... so that youtuber just pulled it out of their ass?!
that's not an autogun
there's a ton of special autopistols
autopistols for some reason are as good as laspistols
but autoguns are supposedly shittier thab lasguns
a laspistol likely doesnt hit with the impact of a 50 cal
speaking of autopistols, is a ripper just an smg or something?
you mean the ripper guns?
no the ripper autopistols
oh then yes
The reason that it's called heavy laspistol because it is a pistol that has the same performance as a las rifle.
But then depending on the models, and especially authors, the power of the weapons varie greatly.
Like autogun is about as strong, if not stronger in some case than lasgun, but "shittier" because of ammo capacity and reliability.
In 40k chaos has their own symbol for their worship of the four chaos gods so i wonder does the imperial cult in the imperium have a all encompassing symbol that represents their religion?
the aquila

the aquila represents the imperium as a whole and thus is one of the most sacred symbols in all of the imperium's iconography its also the most universal which is why it is effectively the imperium's version of the 8 pointed star of chaos undivided
I like to think that
The Lasgun is known for having a power setting and the ability to charge in some cases
So basically
I think that the varied effectiveness just depends on the power output setting or whatever
With higher output costing more ammo but being more powerful
Not sure if the Ripper Pistol really is an SMG
kinda looks like a machine pistol
Make me think more of those sort of pistols
There's not really a line between SMG and auto pistol. The best dividing line might be if it has a shoulder stock or not.
Kinda reminds me of the 10mm from Fallout
That's a good point. The lasgun is more versatile overall with that feature.
Is there any Harlequins that doesn't smile all the time?
Didn’t they get removed
the hell am I looking at?
Rip harlequins
There used to be Harlequin Mimes.
I suppose those didn't have smiles
No?
If you check out the minis yes. All their masks show different emotions.
their masks are also not solid and can shift/change expressions too
They aren’t a faction in 10th?
I mean they are still in the setting
🫵
They got removed
oh wait really? that's kinda make it more interesting
Yeah they are stage players as much as warriors after all, gotta adapt to the roles they play
Effectively just a ally army now
yeah which is what they always kinda been in the lore as well
with units that small in number i guess it makes sense on tabletop
I don’t remember how they played in the tabletop, very niche faction to play
I’m happy I can field a full mech suit army in 10th
Back in the day the mech used to be able to jump out of damage suits in old editions
Yeah it constantly flactuates
hey dils good news i am playing vermintide 2 and I want you to guess what Bardin class I picked
tell me what class would an aggressive moron like me play
100 points
lmao
THAT ONES MIIIIIINNNNNEEEE
DAWRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
im recently getting back into VT2 as well and my friend is also maining Slayer so not surprised lol
what my team hears when they see me flying at the horde
Add versus in dt
Eventually probably tbh
Few years
Give it uh
Let them cook
4-5 more years
Best part of Versus
the human team is not having fun
but i am spamming bombs
sorry guys

i watched a bardin spin botting in a versus game lmao
Yeah it’s….well at least it’s there now
versus is one of those things where you need to turn off your brain and try to have fun in
Now chop chop, we haven’t gotten every VT1 map imported yet
Yeah agreed
like imo Versus is absolutely wasted dev time
but hey at least i get to throw sarin gas
versus is basically a salt generator
I want the Death on the Reik missions imported already
I hope Quickpaw reveal/tease a new weapon soon
stormfiend chieftain from stormdorf is an absoluteshadowbanned banger I want it in vt2
Stormdorf was such a good pack
but im absolutely biased because i love maps where it thunderstorms

i like it
although i never played it

Me entering the symposium holding a frog “behold an Ork”
Can it fight?
If no, that’s a snotling or grot
Me entering the symposium holding a teenage mutant ninja turtle “behold an Ork”

Gonna be 100% real here, I don’t like the new Krieg models (brood brother fan)
what do they look like?
its just shows they're warhorses
Which ones?
ork vs veteran skim kit
no
mag
What?
?
What?
goonhammer
What about it
Goonhammer is the most popular community ran Warhammer websites
Spanning from army overviews, painting guides, comp
brother
you really expect her to get the joke?
It covers every warhammer game
im not here for the hoopla
i mean you talk with us
that's literally hoopla
New korps look great
Bulgur gets it
Ye I am just a hater
Mag come on man, fix yaself
I don’t like krieg or guard really
the models look nice
okay fuck you
I like brood brothers
dude just let her be like literally
it's not that deep it's just an unfunny joke
Because funny terrorists
and a differing opinion
Lmao
If that's your sarcasm then abbadon is the kindest person i know
I was honestly expecting krieg to get an upgrade sprue
gang shit
I’m the style of the Cadia upgrade sprue
Still waiting for gw to release the brood brother sprue by it self
after like a year or two
It’s a 40k army box it’s not gonna last long
And it’s a guard box
Those get scalped to hell
I wonder if normal guard will get anything
Its a waiting game
for all intents and purposes I still have to paint my orks, dg, and typhus
According to an uncreditable YouTuber eldar is supposed to get more stuff too
Apparently more corsairs?
But he didn’t provide any sources or credited anyone
I would unironically buy a Corsair army box
I LOVE corsairs
Yarrr…
So this is the lady that was before archeon
ok?
Welp, looks like a chaos lord model to me
She was revealed in lore a while ago thsi was the first time we saw the model

She actually looks very great
figured
Yee, waiting for my YouTube feed to complain about women being in warhammer
But I’ll probably use her as a chaos lord if I start S2D
came out in white dwarf 99 in the 1980's for £5 u could get both minis
Give it a few days
i cant rememebr their names
What’s when 40k was called rogue trader adventure right?
I’d like to see these remade in the modern day for an anniversary
Loving these space pirate models
warriors of chaos look so cool
Minor inconvenience to dawri kind?
I MUST KILL MYSELF.

Yee, I might pick up slaves to darkness next year
@arctic talon hey my partner used the list you sent and beat her cousins meta list
(Pretty sure it’s meta)
It looked like that one scion list
My bad it wasn’t the scions list
Are there any space marines that wear hats? Are there any space marine hats?

Don't think there are any we know of
But like it's really not outlandish, they must exist somewhere
I could totally picture a raptor with a beret

I’m so good at listbuilding/j
She used the orbital bombardment faction and shut down the guardsmen all game
the cost of having a good old wolrd model

she would make a good chaos lord for aos, the current one is so trash
love these models
Right one will make a pretty baller inquisitor with a bit of bashing
They won’t give you a Bequin model, so make one yourself
Ogre in 40k.....
:D?
If only there was a name for such individuals….
possibly located in the guard codex
OI YA GITZ, TOO MUCH LEARNING MORE FIGHTING!
No no guys, this isn't an Ogryn.... it's an Ogre in 40k....
That is immediately, automatically, absolutely, 100 percent better
I wish there were now
I love how goofy the 1st edition figures could be
They are accurate
the good old days
4th was my favourite
i rememebr my brother have 90's box sets
they got like mike wazowski body structures
SPESS MUHREENS :D
HURR DURR HODOR
Holy shit its a dreadnaught
Imagine if Dreadnoughts could curl up into a ball and roll over everything
That'd make them so much cooler
not wrong at all
What armor do corsairs wear?
Eldar armor
Mesh armor
Iirc
better then flak, marginally worse then carapace
But far more mobile
pretty drippy I'm ngl
but I am surprised it's just mesh armor
how reliably can it stop lasbolts?
It’s not imperial mesh armor
About as well as carapace
mesh armour sounds like the kind of shit authors use because carapace is too boring for them
Mesh armor for the imperium is worse then flak but is lighter
why tf would anybody use something worse than flak
it's already like the worst armour in the galaxy
isn't that the defining trait of flak
flak can be kevlar or some sort of plate carrier
krieg flak is just a uniform
flak is already pretty light
Why is it called mesh armor when it's very solid looking?
It looks more like aspect armor than anything
Because it is still made out of a bunch of tiny interlinking bits
That’s why it’s so flexible
It’s just that eldar tech is good enough that these bits are solid, durable and have pretty much no gaps you can exploit like with normal mesh armor
Due to multiple layers
Largely wraithbone
its pretty sturdy enough to stop a lasbolt but eldar also got other shit like starmetal among some more alienword-metalname things thats usually always better than imperial stuff
again how is this more durable than flak
less
Because I said so
less durable
i didn't know imperial even had mesh
It’s pretty popular with PDF forces and for some regiments
But it’s generally inferior to flak
bruh i bet by mesh they literally mean chainmail or some shit
"it's mesh armour trust me"
💀
Quartermaster trying to convince a guardsman this piece of literal rusted chain mail is flak armor
it's even better than flak!
Thats literally what it is yeah
i forgot if its the new RPG or the older
it's called mesh for a reason private
The other name they used for it is "Bodyglove".
I mean the Maulers in Darktide literally have chain mail under their carapace plating
when you think the guard is cheap but the ones we usually see are supposed to be the cream of the crop
And around it
Imperium has a few different kind of bodyglove.
like the bar goes so, so far down
It can just be space chainmail too
Like each cultist and temple assassin have a diffent kind of mesh armour based on their activity
you know, i see so many bodygloves in rogue trader yet i have rarely ever seen one in lore
All marines have one on
well yeah that's space marines
Then some rogue traders in the lore have suits that are everything combined.
it looks like this in Imperium maledictum
im talking humans
Offico assasinorum members
though their body gloves are special
Oh
Actually I got one of a normal human
one moment
that's way too specialized for the amount we find in game
that looks like scale armour
Fake fan smh
the game uses bodyglove in rogue trader as a catch all term tbh
true
but there's a normal human in a body glove
Eversor's assassin bodyglove is more effective than flak armour
The assassin body gloves are actually sprayed on
And are a special material which is removed after the mission
if an elite imperial unit doesn't have something more durable than flak then idk what they're doing
Then you have Culexus suit, which has force shield
Assassins also work on the idea of “don’t get hit”
That's old lore, I think it is reconnected a long time ago.
It shows up in Kingmaker too
monthly reference to kingmaker
or at least we never get to see it described putting on his bodyglove
They’re versatile
we just get him obesessing over his gun instead
Because each suit is gene coded, they can't even give the suit to someone else, which mean the suit is intended to be reuseable.
That doesn’t mean that at all
if i was given the equivalent of an intervention on steroids i'd fall in love with it too
