Barak-Tumluss is a Kharadon Skyport located in Shyish that has a monopoly on the trading of bones and cadavers. Before the Necroquakes, this skyport was impoverished and purely dependent on mass grave robbing; entire fleets would litter the realm of Shyish breaking into catacombs, tombs, and unsecured grave yards attempting to reap anything worth a profit. Their excuse for this behavior being simply that the Kharadon Code only applies to the living. This all changed when the Necroquakes struck the realms and Nagash revealed the Ossiarch Bonereapers, once Tumluss heard word of cities being put under a Bone-Tithe the duardin got an idea. Their fleets returned to the previously burgled cemeteries and took any corpse they could find, leaving empty halls and dug up yards. These Kharadons would search for anyone under threat of the Bone-Tithe and ‘graciously’ offer up their collected dead for trade, under the false pretense that the corpses were the city’s own. Barak-Tumluss profited so much on this corpse trades they would even form contracts with towns that would unknowingly leave their graveyards barren the next day. In some situations towns and cities would even trade their dead to the Kharadons for essential supplies, with the largest benefactor being the city of Nanultach.
