Decent is underplaying it
its genuinely amazing
it made Ennis so mad he made a cringe response comic to it lol
damn man you suck
smh
tbf the recent season was unhinged af theyy pushed that sh to the max
I liked the first 3 a lot
I just don't want to like
say any shit
about the newer stuff
so I'm going to be conservative with my rating lol
Nah it was still pretty good
IT WAS
Same s4 of the boys and s3 of the bear are just unwatched for me and they were great
bbut it was just soo grotesque đ
if you thought the stuff in S4 was gross you deffo should remember some of the things in the earlier seasons
đ
The dungeon
and the gooats
is where i was like
man i have bbeen sheltered
from real tv
Antman

the little spin off they did
also I do love how Invincible also went into that
and how that girl almost got fucking crushed inside that Komodo dude lmao
I loved that scene
i was like "Okay NOW I SEE why de-shrinking inside someone might be fucking bad"
Rex is bbest boy
I do wish she died there ngl, it would have made it better
her surviving is a bit lol
I mean
have u read the comics
the invincibble comics are actually good
mhm
ngl
The one scene where he uhhh
iis in the pit
I thoougght they were ggonna show it
after the ship
cause it was so similar
they were absolutely teasing it
đ
Marks a lucky man ifykyk
most people gotta pay for that bbut he ggot it for free đ
they're saving the trauma for later

II watch like writingg videos and breaking down scene comparisons.
and every commenter was like
mommy? wish shed do that to me
and im just like
o k bbud
while marks just getting beat down
WAIT
This is a high standard
but if the warhammer show has like arcane levels of character writingg
omg itd be peak
Yeah but it still introduces new characters
Mhm
But again they come from existing regions with pre established cultures
Mel is a main character
Imo
At least by the second release chunk
Riots lore team is very good
Halo could use them rigght noow
Im so jealous of fallout fans
theyy got a show dedicated and staying true to the wasteland
and whatd we gget.. a decent space soap opera
Halo show lul
Like if they had renamed it
and not used halo names
it wouldve bbeen fine
but its apart of an ip
that doesnt synergize with the bbooks or ggames
Isnât it literally discontinued now
You presented it to a core group as halo and then we went in expecting military sci fi
Lol
yeah
Prolly for the best
theyy canceled after season 2
new to 40K and started watching lore videos. Finished SP2 and now playing this. Is there a good book about the Ravens or White Scars they seem the coolest to me.
Season 2 was bbetter imoo
Raven Guard?
My brother allow me to introduce you to, the necrons. The good guys of the 41st millenium
Apocalypse by Josh Reynolds (novel). for white scars in all seriousnous
Masters of the Hunt is a pretty good omnibus for white scars
Apocalypse is good yeah
That also
All they had to do was tweak the first games story a little to introduce moments that happened in the bbooks.
and you wouldve had a tv show representing the games and bbooks.
Then full circle with reach
Or start wiith fall of reach covering all the different fronts(and possibbly clarifyin whether the game oor the bbook is accurate)
I thought it was the Tau ?
not anymore
or the dwarfs
67 dollars for the book geesh
Oh my poor sweet potato
WH40k wants ur retiirement
The art of ggaragge sales and hand me doowns
The moment I see a moom selling their 30 to 40 year olds things
I jump at that
Especially if I see dice somewhere there
That is a stroong indicator
SO in warhammer theres just an entire universe ooff tyraniids slowly closingg in on our milky way?
I honestly don't think the Raven Guard ever got a good book
they have a good serise
can you point me to one thanks
rare elitewolf dementia moment
Lonely Takemura sending you cat photos and stuff is so funny
And complaining about how terrible the food is
Could the angel of destruction turn the tide?
Skin is the fashion of the times
Both the imperium and chaos use human leather lol
We prefer the term Human Vellum (the Imperium, probably )
Honestly the only difference is that the Imperium will at least wait until the person's dead
Maybe
Chaos will do it while the person's alive for the free red dye!
Is Titus related to the Emperor? Also is Imurah one of the chaos gods?
titus is the emperors step sister
And the Emperor is Titusâ cousinâs twice removed cousin
Well i got interested in space marine 2 and im watching a video of all enemies. They're fighting a giant bird monster called Imurah in a place that seems to be the warp.
Also about Titus, the emperor speaks to him and says "Rise, son of Guilliman" and comments meme about guilliman being the emperors child?
In general all my info is from 1 video and 2 comments xD just my curiosity made me ask here
I mean Titus is sort of The Emperor's test tube grandson
Emperor made 21 test tube babies who in turn surgically implanted their genetic material into a bunch of teenagers and made space marines
hes got the emeprors geneseed đ©
you mean the lord of change?
Imurah is the marine
-
The giant bird is a greater daemon called a Lord of Change, it isn't Imurah, he literally appears as himself in the fight
-
The Emperor does not speak to Titus, thats literally Calgar's voice.
-
Do not get your info for 40k from braindead youtube comment sections.
Oh so Imurah is the small red guy and this bird monster is Lord of Change?
yes this is Imurah
and follow up question, when you say "lord" is it one of many? is Nurgle one of them?
Imura is the Traitor space marine
get your lore from reddit ^^
lords of change is the Greater daemon of tzeentch
There's lots of Lords of Change, they're Tzeentch's big boy servants
All the Chaos Gods get greater daemons
Well about the voice, its said that it was "fixed" and now it just says "voice" and not Calgar anymore
Nurgle has Great Unclean Ones
I mean the fact that it was Calgar before kinda tells you what it is.
It sounded like Calgar, but if it was someone else that doesn't really make a difference. Either way, Titus is a son of Guilliman.

Are you counting the Angel?
Are you not

make sure to ping dilara regarding any and all server related questions, she is the only mod on this server
21 or 22 at least
Alpharius/Omegon
What ablut the twin primarchs?
They said it was a mistake, the intent was/is that itâs ambiguous if Calgar said it, the Emperor did or itâs all in Titusâs head or whatever
If you ever say more than 9 the Inquisition would like to have a word with you
Eh doesnt matter.
Its gay either way.
No
Yes
And ur mum gay too
its also just while i appreciate the dicksucking titus gets
if its actually the Emperor thats kinda pushing it a bit imo
like Calgar PERSONALLY apologizing to him made me laugh a bit
He's been kinda chatty lately to be entirely fair
God himself told Titus to stop being a bitch and walk it off.
Maybe he mistook Titus for Sicarius
Maybe he wanted to make a cameo in the biggest 40k game so far
I do hope Titus gets to meet Guilliman eventually just so we get a properly rendered primarch model.
titus and girl man sex scene when
in the DLC probably
Everytime someone finds the geneseed in SM2
looking forward to it
âWhose gonna carry the cumbox?â
Not gonna lie never gets old lol
had a dude asking us:
"What do I do with this?"
and i just went
"Your duty is to carry the cumbox."
The Emperor and the man who he lives with, the only person he's ever loved, who helped him produce and raise his children, who cried when the Emperor was mean to him, but like in a straight way

the emperor who DIDNT PAY MY MEDICAL BILLS?
Why does it always gotta be gay, why canât it just be two men enjoying each others bodies?
BRUH
based
No
I canât send it here itâll block it
But it'd be funnier if it was
Balls ? No
Weird gene stuff
wouldnt you like to know? đ
Think it's supposed to be in the chest
Geneseed in my mouth
I'm pretty sure it's in all the space marine organs, but the progenoid just makes a renewable supply of it
its basically a fictional organ they get that stores their genetic data during the first time they become a space marine
take a sip from the cumbox
Because they're cowards
Ikr
wokeism got 40k
Geneseed is literally just DNA
Almost as bad as Ian Watson's Imperial Fists no longer being "canon" or "accurate to the settings current image"

Soon theyâll be taking away space marines being canonically hung
Are they ?
of course youre thinking about space marine dick
In that one Grey Knight book its definitely heavily implied
Lmao wtf
Assuming theyâre all of similar proportions of then yeah
An inquisitor jokes about it
Are khorn mfs mad because they're hung like grots?
But is it because he is a SM or that he was already hung before
I think she was an inquisitor?
Itâs not an inquisitor but yeah
An inquisition lady sees one naked showering and laments how theyâre celibate/asexual
Which confuses the marine
seeing the primaris cheeks in person đ€€
This is also the book where Bjorn comments on how a Inquisitor Lady from Fenris has beautiful raven black hair which is rare on Fenris and is beautiful herself, the Grey Knight doesnât get how Bjorn can tell that sheâs beautiful.
Good thing the space marine the inquisitor lady saw wasn't a Salamander poor naive karker would think she was being friendly.
That's because Grey Knights aren't interested in anything as petty as physical appearance. They're interested in the soul
True
they like personality
huge ick
"Her hair is pretty, Bjorn? Seriously?"
-The Grey Knight, probably.
Hyperion is also just the most asexual being to ever exist
He's not repulsed by sex, sex is repulsed by him
you just described every 40k fan
You know when incels imagine their virginity as being a magical barrier?
Hyperion is what they think they are.
Like the book notably contrasts him to other space marines and even other grey knights in just how foreign the concept is to him
Itâs a pretty fun scene
Bjorn could definitely still get it
Got that Dreadrizz
I love the idea of an inquisitor and her warband all showering and then thereâs just a random space marine there
yeah but like how...
Iâve also heard that they tend to stink
duh
Space Wolves definitely don't seem to be as neutered as other marines
all they do is fight
Like they definitely seem to appreciate female company
Partially because they have to mature a bit faster being that the process to becoming a Space Wolf is super intense
omg horny killing machine
Bjorn was definitely trying to figure out if he could make it work, mechanically
No that's the Emperor's Children
Sex cult but the only thing they understand is violence
âI am Ghesmei Kysnaros,â he said to the Dreadnought. âA ranking lord in His Holy Majestyâs Inquisition.â I was only peripherally aware of their conversation. The name inscribed on the sarcophagus couldnât be real. If it was, it meant⊠Oh. Throne of Terra. âMy lord,â I said, as I went to one knee myself. The Dreadnought turned slightly on its waist axis, with a low growl of sacred mechanics. âEnough of this. Get up.â ââŠand a duly appointed representative of the God-EmperorâŠâ Kysnaros finished, still unsure where to look. âGod-Emperor?â The Dreadnought made the sound of gears slipping, grinding together. From the booming augmetic tone, I assumed it was supposed to be laughter. Either that, or an internal weapons system reloading. âCalling him a god was how all this mess started.â Kysnaros was wrong-footed again, thrice now in a single minute. âWhat do you⊠I donâtââ âNothing. Times change, and thatâs the truth of it.â The war machine turned again, facing all three of us. âNow. What brings you into the night sky above Fenris, and why shouldnât I break your little fleet into pieces with this castleâs many, many guns?â The Lord Inquisitor straightened his back at that. âPlease name yourself, sir, as I have done. Then negotiations may begin in good faith.â âAre you blind, little man? Itâs written on my coffin.â I couldnât let this go on any longer. Not only was it blasphemy, it bordered on excruciating. +His name is Bjorn, called the Fell-Handed. First Great Wolf of the Chapter, and second High King of Fenris after Jarl Russ, the primarch himself. They woke him to deal with us.+ Kysnarosâs eyes never left the armoured shell, and the black iron coffin bound on its front. âYou⊠You walked in the Age of the Emperor?â Bjorn made the gear-grinding chuckle again. âWalked, ran, pissed and killed. I did it all. I met the Allfather, you know. Fought at his side more than once. I do believe he liked me.â Kysnaros slowly, slowly went to his knees. âOh, for⊠Not you as well
This bit is fun too
Imperial Fists exaggerating minor infractions so the chaplain will put them in the black bodyglove that hurts them
This is a slippery slope to SM x SoB fanfic
SoB went to catholic school
A dreadnaught laughing at calling the Emperor a God to an inquisitor's face is amazing.
Idrk what inquisitors can do
But like, itâs a dreadnought right? Does it have anything to be scared of?
anything? almost anything?
they are very much above general law but other inquisitors can punish them i think
or high anking ones at least
Like he could shoot at Bjorn and it wouldn't be illegal. However, Bjorn would just turn him into a smear on the floor.
like a council or some bs
Right yeah but face-to-face, surely a drwadnought couldnât care less?
Space marines generally don't care what Inquisitors demand because they have more guns.
the Inquisition answers only to the Emperor. individual Inquisitors can be judged and hunted by a trial of their peers. in practical terms, though, the Space Marines are largely ungovernable, and a Dreadnought from a Loyalist Chapter can mostly say whatever it wants to an Inquisitor whenever it is face to face with one. taking punitive action against a Space Marine is always very tricky.
Celestial Lions Moment

there's a tacit ageement that the Chapters sort their own shit out, with Chaplains functioning somewhat like the Inquisitors for their own battle-brothers. if a whole Chapter goes Renegade or falls to Chaos, other Space Marines are required to fight them (e.g. the Badab War). the legal authority of an Inquisitor is limitless, but their ability to enforce it is only as strong as the force they wield in that moment
This was literally an event that happened in the middle of the Months of Shame
If you mean situations like Titus and people thinking it should have been dealt with the Chaplains ?
Unfortunate for them, certainly
How does only answering to the emperor work lol?
The whole story is about "what will an inquisitor do if a space marine tells them no"
It doesn't that's the point
LOL
It means whoever has bigger guns is right
something like that. the Ultramarines would never have allowed the Inquisition to take Titus away if more of the Chapter was there in full force. I bet they would have demanded that he be turned over to their own Chaplains for investigation instead. it only happened the way it did because Leandros chatted up the Inquisitors before the rest of the Ultramarines got there
âLet us consult the emperorâ turns to skeleton
it means that nobody in the hierarchy of the Imperium has the authority to tell an Inquisitor what to do.
Their authority is god effectively
I mean there's enough psyker inquisitors I'm sure at least a few actually consult the tarot
The point is it gets political
They didn't disapprove of Leandros
but they weren't happy with how the inquisitor handled it
I swear like half the groups in humanity are like this though
I get the impression that no sub faction really listens to any others
They donât like to at least
Nah most of them are under the Adeptus Terra which actually has a hierarchy
Im glad we dont have such governmental bodies IRL
oh yeah absolutely but that's the difference between de facto and de jure

Itâs basically a feudal state
Welcome to the Imperium, you got the message!
But they will try to outshoot each other and cover it up if they think they can
Well there are only 1 group where no one but themselves and select fews can order them.
Custodes.
Take pride in being one of a decided minority among imperial fans
Also this yeah lol
an Inquisitor can do nothing against a Custodes aside from trying to stronghand them and prob get into a fight and die
Except we see plenty still fight them when it comes down to brass tax
Which is the point
The administratum is the most powerful faction
At a certain level what matters isnât your legal power
But if you can back it up with force
Just because you can't order them doesn't mean you can't fight them
Technically Custodes and Inquisitors claim the same authority
Me when the priests who make my iPhone are having a civil war with the army
I mean the Custodian is still superior
and if it comes down to fighting the Custodians will mostly win lol
Custodes canât order Inquisitors either technically
It doesnât matter because they still will
By force
Yeah and die in the attempt so
Unless they are far away in macro-cannon range or something kek
Same with how inquisitors have the power to order marine chapters, but they often canât for some because force is what matters
I know nothing about custodes honestly other than that theyâre incredible
Idk what they are or why they are
Or they donât have the political pull or whatever
Bigger and badderer transhumans
God an inquisition guy whose only job is kill specific custodes with an orbital strike would be a great gag character
Space marine chapters are supposed to handle such matters internally.
The Imperium work on networking. More so for an Inquisitor, where you don't have power over SM, but you can have some SM who owe you one (or that you have dirt on)
And then use those SM to threaten other SM
But in actuality itâs complicated
Especially when you get into the first founding and other important big name chapters

I'm fairly certain that Custodes are considered The voice of The Emperor whenever conflicts arise.
Not directly, which is why people argue about the SM1 end with Titus and Leandros
Whereâs that fucking GoT scene
more advanced science magic is used to create them. they exist to protect the physical body of the Emperor on Terra mostly, but sometimes they travel into the galaxy. there are 1 million space marines and only 10k custodes.
They have direct power
This convo literally started because someone quoted a novel set during the Months of Shame
Ikr its great
They can order marine chapters around and prosecute them
Legally they can, but in actuality itâs complicated
Thatâs what Iâm literally saying
De facto vs de jure power as said before
They can't requisition a SM Chapter in the same way that they could an Imperial Guard Regiment.
They can and cant
But itâs harder and they need more pull
again, it depends
But their authority lets them legally
They use their relations to do so, IG they can simply order it
If they can actually do so depends on their political power and pull
No
They have authority over chapters
This is complicated and silly
This is why orks is da best
And some chapters canât afford to say no
Death cults aren't an official assassin group by the assassinurum right
Whoâs in charge? The biggest ork
Nah they are just offshoot cults
This entire "debate is"
- They cant do it but they also can do it
Yeah some belong to the blood god some just very very crazy zealots
Just a whole type of cult of the Emperor
Kinda like Crusader, they aren't a mono group
Yeah but i will admit though they have some cool assassins
That blade dance animation was sick
Far too complicated
Theyâre slightly unhinged
Id post that Kibellah clip where she asks oyu to stab her in the eye if i could
Send it
Watch this woman carry a giant power scimitar bisect a man in two
Ew heresy
Hope we see Death Cult Power weapon for the Zealot.
Have them all be Kerillian's maybe ?
I could use more death cult twinks
shame Rogue Trader wiki sucks
a good chunk of info is not there
i cant wait for more obscure guard regiments to get full uniforms in game
my hope is eventually all the big ones will be done so weird shit like the indentured servitude regiment will get cosmetics
Is warhammer community broken for anyone else?
Nope broken for me too
The US site is broken I think
Dead, they sent me an email about the Killteam rules being released, but it's dead
Wait
It works if you go into Menu and "All news"
same here
when they remake the website but dont put in the effort to make it stable
It was working fine before, this isnât like the warhammer.com where it was broken from the start
GW just making so much cash from selling the IP to software developers and miniature fans they can shit on everything else and get away with it...
not so much the former
wayyyy more the latter
Huh.
Well at least it is a wee bit heartwarming to know they haven't strayed from their core.
Just that they still don't give enough shit :p
they are, first and foremost, a figurine company. everything else that they do is only in support of that goal: sell more minis.
Very true
Was watching something recently and it basically said that one of the big the reasons GW holds market dominance with 40k is actually because of LOTR, basically the movies came out and GW got the licence to make models and game to coincide with it, then because the movies were huge they made a ton of money and they invested all those profits from LOTR into 40k.
Sometimes at detriment to thr tabletop balance, sadly, but true.
Basically it allowed them to invest more into 40k as a brand than their competitors were able to invest into their own projects
...really weird how 40k fans do owe that much to LOTR franchise
no wonder they are willing to spend some extra cash on the Tithes
Even discounting a certain nut job demographic that those two often appeal to
Although I think I pinpointed another oddity I felt with Primaris
sup nerds
Their new design feels oddly a bit too...Sci fi sleek
what did i miss?
Discussion about how GW makes Moolah
whose new design?
Oh yeah I remember the LotR mini range being pretty prominently displayed when I first walked into a GW shop
Yea for a while it was sort of their headline and overtook Warhammer products because of the sheer scale of the success of the movies
Also White Dwarf actively advertised movie tie-in models and the productions of the films themselves, they were absolutely cashing in and making bank
Like most stores at the time would have Helms Deep dioramas instead of 40k or Fantasy ones
But I guess it's also indicative that GW can be real smart when they want to
Like instead of investing all that profit back into the LOTR game they invested it into 40k and Fantasy because they knew the LOTR bump would be temporary
got something I can use as a reference?
Let us use Marneus Calgar as comparison. Below is a Colourized 3rd edition ish art

Primaris Calgar
The old art had that slightly more brutalist, angular, rigid mobility take
He took his first steps, congrats
The new one looks Sci Fi sleek lines
Which...makes it a bit less unique for Sci Fi takes
IIRC we are in agreement Primaris is a mistake lol
Everything could have happened without it
I mean they are very much badly implemented and not good
but consumers are good little paypigs so lol
I, to this day, refuse to buy anything Primaris (or so scaled).
To the point I would rather switch armies lol.
id only buy em if i could swap all the helmets with firstborn
but i aint wasting money on that like a chump
Gw execs sweating about their end of year bonus
eh, the primaris kits are absolutely stellar kits to work on and get started on modelling so that too factors into how popular they are
Eh, nah
They are good fo what they are more or less
absolutely does
again people love basic content
and I say this as a guy with a BT army lol
even if primaris is cringe maximo
they're the easiest to build and paint
Marines had always been the starter faction
So I don't hold that against Primaris, ironically
Yeah pretty much this.
saying "space marines sell well and are easy to paint" has been a thing since like the 90's lol
Just the degradation into "general sleek Sci fi design" rubs me the wrong way
well yeah and they keep improving on that, primaris are easier to build and paint than first born marines
That and GW shooting themselves in the foot by forcing apart 30k and 40k
Primaris better
To each their own đ
Terrible.
Ok but have you considered new popular thing bad?
Too easy mindset
Theres plenty reasons to dislike Primaris
idk why people act like it doesnt lol
It kinda goes beyond "new thing bad" yeah
its just badly done and the aesthetic sucks, its a pretty normal complaint
Pretty much.
Then again explaining this to space marine fans (me included) is like talking to a brick wall so i digress đ
i dont like the wack a mole nature of primaris
This especially
its a dumbass system
the books trying to explain it makes it even funnier though
changing whatever they feel like will be improved
They also say this makes them less tactically adapt in the novels
which is like
yeah no shit
kek
It's a way healthier system for the game but lore reasoning is whatever
lore comes after so
is it? you have to buy a lot more plastic to fill in a playstyle
And really just go back to old Legiones org if they want units to be hyper soecialized
Just like there is for anything, it doesnât stop a lot of the complaints being the same song and dance as always
the game works a lot better and faster without having the need to roll a different attack for every model in a squad every squad
Complaints can always be valid and invalid depending on the context.
As ever if you dont like seeing it the door is over there
It just feels clunky
its kinda why i stopped playing and just paint rn
Especially when people act like âaestheticâ and âstyleâ choices are objective metrics you can judge something on.
It might not work for you, which is fine, it doesnât mean itâs bad.
im thankful they at least added HH for the players who care less about the optimal playstyle
I mean when theres a big popular opinion that dont like it as much as people that like it it doesnt matter.
Thereâs no end of models or whatever I donât personally love which I donât think are immediately bad besides of this
you act like the people that dont like it are a small number or something
but HH updates are so slow it's lame
I mean its HH
Based off the sales numbers GW has been sporting thatâs a very loud minority
They kinda are tbh
Itâs obviously working for a shitton of people
Im not talking about sales tbh
also retiring so many models to HH for guard specifically
im talking about aesthetics and lore stuff
people will buy space marines no matter what they do with them lol
Which to be clear I have lots of qualms with primaris aesthetics and I get not liking it, but it doesnât mean itâs bad
Its very much bad on most parts.
yeah this
idk why theres some weird need to just always go against people not liking certain parts of them
Obviously not considering they were having a huge crisis prior to 2015-16
Yeah a crisis so big we are already back to the norm
And they completely redid the setting and changed course drastically
Whos saying that đ
i think repulsors were a bad choice to replace rhinos
I dislike a lot of their vehicles
Theres a lot of units that are just straight up bad aesthetically
And the naming scheme in general
Repulsors are prob the top ones
i dont like assembling tracks but dollar store hover is not better
its basically tryhard UNSC
I really do just miss Tactical Marines
and the more brutalist aesthetic
like you cant replace the iconic rhinos and land raiders
howering tanks are fucking cool, but not every tank should be one
Will say the new repulsor vehicles aren't great, but then again never been a huge fan of Space Marine vehicles in general
Just sprinkle in some here and there
Get out

land raiders especially
I like the Gladiator, Repulsor is too much
When it comes to Space Marines I'm only really a fan of the infantry and the Dreadnoughts
I would be shocked if thereâs a single model line of any expansiveness GW has done which I like everything about it.
Gladiator is a lot better proportioned
Especially when you have one with so many models like the SM line. That doesnât mean itâs bad though.
and then only the Primaris versions
I donât need to love every single thing
And a few models I donât care for doesnât make it bad either
and yeah the Dreads are fucking great, but I do wish they'd have a new boxnought kit as well
Not happening so gotta get used to no-leg-day Dreads
Theres definitely still awful models tbh
Desolators my unbeloved
They're better anyway
that doesn't really work when the old boxdreads had sticks for legs
Honorable ATV mention anyone
yeah and it looked cool
so you know
Hmmm
perish
rare self-perish
NGL I don't hate the ATV
Genuinely explode
Like it's not great, but it's not awful
it's not as bad as the attack bike for sure
its literally a fuckig mariokart
when the brother doesn't have his motorcycle license
Relatable.
Can they add these to SM2 so i can speedrun the snoozefest Operations faster pls
maybe then ill like em
they made the land speeder a gokart and made the rhino a hover tank

Like I personally think it's better than the Firstborn battle sidecar
Still an improvement
Pretty much this.
Like, theres no need to look for good in junk
please, stop it đ
ATV gets improved a lot by raising the wheels or changing the wheels.
ATV wasn't the replacement for the Land Speeder, that's the Storm Speeder
Nah the design of the thing itself is just bad
space marines riding go-karts is just fucking awful as an idea
This replaced the Land Raider
bikes I can kinda get
these are fucking great
i forgot this existed
brother tinnitus is a bit much though
yo its that one car from GTA Online
Once again weâre doing the âopinion as factâ thing
ATV was replacement for the Attack Bike, Land Speeder was replaced by Storm Speeder
I have not seen a single person field this thing in 4 years from the matches i went to
actually wait I THINK I saw like... two?
idk i forgot
lots of units im surprised GW doesnt cull in primaris
maybe they just dont want to waste the moulds or something idk
Atm its culling Firstborn
which is understandable
the bloat will get dealt with later as per quota
like suppressors and invictor warsuit
Its a lot of factors but mould is one of them sometimes, though like not at the top of the list.
genuinely surprised centurions are still around
They're prob also gonna get phased out
i hope they get primaris
its a fucking stationary turret
it's a hover turret with melee attacks
it replaced my beloved thunderstrike...
WAIT
But it does have some cool conversions
IT HOVERS?
ACTUALLY, it has hoverplates
there's a meme about this
Oh my god im losing my mind
YOU DIDNT KNOW?
Fake fan tbh
Obviously it has hover plates
You can also get these for like ÂŁ12 on Ebay
I mean can you imagine
Not knowing?
(I didnât know for years)
(I still donât care for it)
It uh, it uh hovers :3
They did make the hammerfall bunker look cool in SM2 though.

Im gonna hover this grenade up your a-
Cant believe this.....
I forgot does the turret have flying
Canât blame them since animating them would be a bitch but I would have liked to have seen a Techmarine
What i dont get is like
why not make it some shit like this
actually its 40k what am i even saying
flying skeebooths
What in the Skibidi Toilet
also yes these were real
Are those trash cans for skiing?
What the hell am I looking at
Its a mobile guard post
now pay up the gas bill
Exterminate, exterminate
I forgot what they were called :( the uh
Doctor who murder boxes
Dalek
Thank you

This looks like a hallows out dalek
i still cant believe these fucking things could solo 40k
Dalek lore absolutely goes crazy
Fortunately I wrote a toilet scrubber which can solo them
Doctor Who lore isâŠ.interesting. Sometimes Iâll watch parts and think itâs marvelous and then it immediately loses me the next episode.
my audiobook crashed and now I've lost my place.....
Classic british TV
still prob one of my fav sci-fi designs in anything
starts as literal junk design then turns into having actual purpose
I cannot fucking believe they made it so that the toilet plunger they got sucks peoples' brains
I think my favorite thing with Doctor Who, and this is a lot of earlier sci fi, is you can see where theyâve had to take very simple and cheap early designs and try to make them scarier and threatening now
Like you've got to remember this is a BBC production, the writers were probably getting paid like ÂŁ2 a day with a budget of ÂŁ50 per episode
Sometimes its just kinda funny but charming
Also this yeah lol
like again the prop department still did a good job, i couldnt prob manage any of this
One of the seasons had like a robot companion because they found a random robot prop in the storage room cupboard one day and were like "Hey we can use this"
they could have attached a servitor to this thing btw but brother dakka really wanted to shoot the turret
Its also important to remember TV audiences back then were legit as easily entertained as chimps
like they will see these guys and go
"OH MY FUCKING GOD WHAT IS THAT HOLY FUCK"
or maybe people cared more about the story
yes
Chaplain my beloved
Source?
proof?
Evidence?
The funny story about the robot is nobody knew where it came from and it had no instructions so one member of crew had to train with it for months to figure out how it worked before they started filming, he figured it out but didn't explain it to anyone else and then he died like a week before they started shooting.
So they'd written this complicated robot prop into the script for the whole season and no one knew how to work the damn thing
yeah thats me worldbuilding lol
This just sounds like an elaborate excuse for someone to not have to claim they made it
Its the logic star wars worked with
"Okay so you are a bounty hunter with toilet wraps"
10 years later
"OKAY GUYS THIS CHARACTER NEEDS LORE"
fuck me, STOP
It was apparently a prop from an old show that got canceled during the pilot but there wasn't any record of it because BBC was pretty fast and loose back then
Which iirc was later made to be a memory core with alliance secrets and he died valiantly under torture not revealing them
Because of course it was
Yeah i also remember some people tracking down this guy's family/name to find out who he was
and his relatives actually appreciated the fans being this obsessed with finding who he was just as a background character lol
A lot of them are dead now but you used to be able to find damn near every Star Wars extra with any notable screen time at conventions and get an autograph
Yeah its pretty wholesome i can get the vibe behind it
id love it to see if some people came ot me and went "Bro you carried that ice cream machine like a PRO"

they aint no Dexter Jetster but hey still
Hey Dex is a major featured character with a lot of dialogue and key plot information
For some reasonâŠ.
Also heâs in a 1950s diner and has a stache. In Star Wars.
I got no clue what I'm looking at
Probably for the best
Plastic man killing a cop while shouting Rodney king (LA Race Riots)
Oh
I love how Miller goes from
The Dark Knight Returns with honestly some banger artwork
To this

Then again I think the sequel of DKR was his literal first time drawing digitally
Not an excuse for the quality dropping so much
But it does explain it
Yea and he was heavily abusing substances making it
Ppl living w him during said he was like totally schizo
Whenever I read these guys talking about the âartâ they make
DKIII is good at least
I wish we could force them to explain some of these pages lol
I do think heâs made some brilliant stuff but man
An artist being schizo
Unsurprised
Zorro?
This is still the greatest comic panel OAT
Itâd be weirder if Miller wasnt tbh
The fucking cape
Honestly it would've been better if it was one solid color ISTG

I think he used the god damn default calligraphy tool
Nobody uses that
I remember some animator did a rant about how annoying capes are to do and cursing the idiots who put capes on all these super heroes
It was amusing
Making things appear flowing is nightmarish
He ended it with âand thatâs why Spider-Man is a dream jobâ
Oh yeah capes are annoying
Clothes creases are annoying already
So making a giant, flowing piece of cloth is fucking hard to draw
Fucking Spiderman
I would've accepted like drawing Deadpool or Daredevil
But fucking Spiderman??
DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO DRAW ALL THOSE WEB PATTERNS

Based as a result honestly
McFarlane the maniac
Spawn art goes hard most of the time
He's like the Punisher
Except he doesn't attract racists
I hope
Well

Thatâs optimistic
I managed to pick up a decent copy of spawn 1 the other day for fifteen bucks
His storyline is a little goofy but heâs fun still
Honestly comic collecting is so much cheaper than Warhammer
Eventually he like kills heaven and hell or something iirc
Maybe if youâre collecting spawn smh
I mean isn't Spawn, before he turned into well.. Spawn, black?
I managed to get all of dark knight returns, DK2, DK3 and all DKR one shots for 100 bucks
It should drive away at least some
Mix of first and second printings
You think that helps?
I hope so????
for me the reason i know keith is because of this guy

Eternal do you collect comics
Yeah thatâs a good one
Arbiter is the main one for me
Goliath was peak
Saints Row
the timeline of me learning about Keith David was from Arbiter to Sergeant Foley, to Princess and the Frog
Where he voiced Julius and then later himself
man this intro is still awesome

The Theme of season 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3rZGb4SFlk
Keith David is a legend
I've known him also from Tales from the Hood 2 where he does the "welcome to Hell! Motherfucker!"
oh I haven't seen that movie in a while
Love that Scene in Saints Row where Roddy Piper shows up to beat him up so that he remembers himself
"No one calls Roddy for help... He shows up where he's needed most"
snaps fingers oh yeah he was also in John Carpenter's The Thing in 1982
That was about 2 years before he died iirc.
His Itâs Always Sunny Appearance is great too
Holy fuck gargoyles
I loved that show
from YTP: Halo and the Noncompliant Chief
#halo #haloce #halo2 #halo3 #halowars #343 #343industries #halo4 #halomcc #halo2anniversary #halo5 #halowars2 #haloinfinite #masterchief #john117 #cortana #arbiter #rememberreach #halomemes #halouniverse #finishthefight #nobleteam #installation #installation01 #xbox #microsoft #bungie #haloodst #haloinf...
my sister and I always played the story together when we were kids. Good thing too, because neither of us could get through "Cortana" without crying in fear
when playing at night
Doing that shit on legendary has the same effect
Holy fuck what cancer
Itâs sooooo long too
that in itself has the same pain level as a destiny raid, even above i'd dare say
Nah it doesn't make you cry in fear
It just makes you want to shoot yourself

Itâs like at the level of pain Root of nightmares is day 1
I think I did LASO for reach
Still better than Halo 2 on Legendary tho
Sword Base was awful
Halo 2 on legendary is genuinely
Itâs not fun at all
Not designed for how the game works
and then Halo 3 ODST makes you learn about a new taste for music
I beat Reach on Legendary
The Ship section killed me more than the actual first levels
That stuff was hard too
I think the final mission before the last stand was probably the worst though
That fucking group of zealots and field marshal
i had to use the barrel of the Mini mac to shield me from phantom shots
Itâs so baffling to me how good the Sabre section is
And they did nothing else with that
Yeah that's probably why
Apparently the UNSC decided to make their fighters out of fucking duct tape and scrap.
I almost turned it down a difficulty level genuinely
Well thereâs a reason it was a prototype
to me the Sabre actually looks like a proper fighting starcraft then the standard Longsword, thats a big boy
Honestly it was also my first time playing Halo reach also
And beating the game on Legendary made the ending far more potent
It was a uphill fight from the beginning
But it quickly became hopeless
I never got mad whenever i barrel rolled and hit the nearby debris around the Anchor 9 station, I kept laughing.
Visor cracked as I tried my best to live as much as I cn
Until eventually I had to take off the helmet
Genuinely got emotional lmao
Halo Reach is my favorite game of the Halo series purely because it captured hopelessness so well
Both in the story and gameplay
the most militaristic to me.
Itâs just super well done
Sabre part still makes me want to die tho
The design, the voice acting, the team, the tragedy
Kat's death genuinely got me the most
I love the part where Kat is talking about how she âdefinitely didnâtâ hack into the ONI database and find out that Six was trained in the secret Sabre program
Mainly because just before that, she was actually subtly shaking
While saying
"First glassing? Me too."
Yeah they do each of them very different
Jorge is off screen and a tragic sacrifice which means nothing basically
i thought it was lame as a kid, but my uncle who'd done time in the service explained it to me when he was watching me play. "one moment you're buddy's with you, the next they're gone".
Kat dies because random bad luck basically
Emile is a badass last stand, Carter is passing you the torch for the mission. Six is all alone, lone wolfing.
i remember watching rogue one in theaters and before even Scarif blows up I said "hold the fuck, this is Halo Reach"
Iâll always respect them for having everyone die
It was really close to not happening apparently
Same with the Vader scene
yeah. But going back, I take this to my grave. Halo Reach was the last time my experience will ever Peak. From story, to multiplayer, forge creations, and even the clan community
best scene in sw
They all do a good job but man he sells that shit
all of it
that bar isn't very high but this is very good
Dude sounded scared, angry, and desperate all at once
the best in terms of putting the "wars" in star wars from space to ground combat, Rogue One did it best
It also makes beginning of a New Hope hilarious
Rogue One was probably the best movie out of Disney Star Wars
Itâs a bit rough at the start but that last battle scene is phenomenal
It also laid the foundation for Andor so
Yeah Iâm a big fan
Watching that little skirmish on Jedha between the Partisans and the Imperials reminded me of the early urban warfare during the War On Terror
Yeah I think I posted this earlier
It's also good because it explains why Vader was so pissed
Leia: "idk what you're talking about bro. There are no death star plans"
Vader: "BITCH I JUST HAD THE PLANS STOLEN BT YOUR MEN. WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN NO PLANS"
Leia: "idk bro maybe you should check the database maybe you lost them"
It also lead to my new favorite type of Storm Trooper which was the Shore Troopers
Honestly I think the worst part about most of the Disney Star Wars movies is because they're uncreative
âWeâre on a diplomatic mission.â
âBitch we both just left a massive fucking space battle and I just got done killing everyone on your ship.â
they made something p mid worse
Yeah itâs very disappointing
it's on par
The prequels, despite how fucking awful it is. Honestly if it was purely by acting, the Disney movies win out in that area.
But the Prequels tried something new.
Itâs baffling to me that they had no plan
It tried to make a new story in the universe
Yeah as bad as George is at a lot of stuff
Expand on it's past and even future
He had a lot of cool ideas
the prequel's whole concept could've been salvaged
