hey did the new rogue trader dlc drop or something?
Would be disappointing for Ghaz though.
He'd think that the Imperium insulted him.
but they are only for astartes and not normal humans
"WHAT? HE DIED OF 'OLD GE'. HE DIDN'T GET KRUMPED BY ME???"
Dante doesn’t have any
Yeah exactly
People don’t always have them
Just saying if the Blood Angels used them
They do
Sorta
Tycho has them
Yes. It did.
I don’t get the problem he’s saying they’re the heart and sole of the Imperium.
Nope im not at that part yet
Pretty wholesome
will do if i can get there 😩
i would litearlly murder someone for a kelermorph companion
I feel like at a point they just stop giving them to a person, but marines rarely get to the age of dante and grimnar so like there's little precedent
Yeah most marines will probably die around 100-300ish years
I’m trying to become a almost kelermorph with my pistol build, looking for someone to help me plan it out
I think it would be funny if Dante used to have them
But after a bit he had them removed because they were starting to cover his face
These days earlier even
Like his entire forehead was just
Bad time to be a new Blood Angel or Ultramarine
Covered with studs
Good for promotions though
The Platinum Bachelor: Dante Edition
"Please sanguinius. Take me with you.."
"Nah. You still haven't gotten the Diamond stud yet."
"Fuck you dad..."
why are they wasting the interns time posting this
https://www.warhammer-community.com/2024/09/24/warhammer-40000-space-marine-2-recruit-edition-brings-lieutenant-titus-to-the-tabletop/
what is this
it's a product
when the company that started by selling minis does an ad for their minis
are gaunts in untsi of 20 or 10?
oh okay
remember that god awful tyranid combat patrol taht existed for like 5 minutes
It’s for likely a lot of new people who are learning about the hobby from the game
it was like, 60 gaunts, a brood lord, and genestealers
yeah but i thought this was already a product
Gives a few models and paint supplies and some instructions
It wasn’t for new people then
Nah
That one was target only
The old one was just a board game
No paint included
w- what
is target a thing in the UK???
(im an american)
I bought something called a "tyranid battleforce" back in the day. 8 termagaunts, 8 hormagaunts, 8 genestealers, 3 tyranid warriors, and a fucking CARNIFEX.
those were the days.
cost me something like 100 or 120 euros.
HEHJAGAJ
thanks 40k team for listening to r/grimdank instead of your sales team
What?
grimdank is mostly americans
from waht i heard
wait no that dint evne make sense
why was it a target exclusive??
It’s Reddit the brain damage spreads globally
Idk money
Idk
The model for Titus was gonna be sold later always
As it is now
Cheaper
That was the only really unique part
is this why genestealers are in such weird units
is it? they came in the same numbers as the gaunts.
and warriors
Nah
pretty sure genestealers are in units of 8 still
Warriors are always 3 man
They’re 10 to 20
oh okay
my brain must have been thinking in 8th
Yeah
Mag is stuck in the Bush era mentally still
God I forgot how goofy old stealer models were
I bought the codex, that battleforce, paints and brushes, and then later also a hive tyrant and a lictor. the old metal minis. GOD they were ASS
it was the only time in my life i coudl play warhamm er;~;
Wild how good the new GSC models are
fr
it's super dope that GSC are a whole ass faction now
I dont like Custodes as a faction, they were fine stuck on Terra as a plot device/lore element, but GSC definitely deserved to be an army.
please you took guard from us
and gave us a subfaction that fucking hates guard

give me leman russ or give me damage gw
Lol
you took both and gave us a worse version of our 8th edition rule, took cross fire, and took guard
The brood bros change is so weird
AND ITS TERRIBLE NO ONE LIKES IT
it wants us to spam guardsmen for no reason
and then our guardsmen kit is like 70 usd
There’s a gsc player at the lgs lol
Killteam lul
I KNOW AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
its the cheapest way to play atm
No
for new poeple*
The cheaper way is the abomination list
oh okay
They just like bikes
buying the new Combat P twice isnt bad, its just not good
but our siganture unti is signiticaly worse
yeah
i bought the last of the old one at my lgs
and im so happy about it
but im nto ahppy with the ucrrent state of the faction so eh
excited to play kruleboyz in aos!

YEAH
💀
IT HAPPENS WITH ALL MY FAVORITE ARMIES AND IDK WHY
Sylvaneth
I HAVE SYLVANETH TOO
💀
gitz arent bad they are just annoying to play at least
i am getting kharadons too

which are bad but wht ever
i also have blades of khorne
which is the second worse army in the game
im not a hipster even this just happens to everything i play in games
Gonna continue a topic I talked about yesterday
I thought about Shin Godzilla like appearing in Terra and destroying things for no reason
I have no idea why
I think it's because I've been hyper fixating on Godzilla recently
And now I'm imagining Godzilla fighting a Squad of Titans
Because that is cool as fuck
I think Godzilla is more of a knight tier opponent
Imperial Guards trying tanks and howitzers. Valkyries trying to shoot Shin down
Depends. Titans are only 100 Meters max
Original 1950s Godzilla is 50 meters, or about as tall as a Warhound
Yeah but they're more mobile weapons platforms while Knights like to pacific rim giant robot punch you
Also if Exodites actually got any lore you'd realize this is just what living on a Knight World is
Sadge
While Godzilla fires his atomic breath
To be fair any melta titan could go toe tp toe with godzilla's breath
Yeah I barely know shit about Exodites. Maybe I should read what few lore there is
If I recall it's not plasma breath but one of their dinosaurs is supposed to breathe fire
And even if you don't have one of those, they have brachiosaurs and carnosaurs with twin linked plasma cannons on their back
They blast it from orbit the end
It's not talked about anymore and the lore just vaguely says "farm equipment" but early knights were used by exodites to herd dinosaurs
Power scaling godzillas is hard
Lmao
Yeah I was thinking Shin Godzilla specifically
like Shin and GZ-1 are like nigh unkillable by conventional means
Shin Godzilla actually has defenses against Air attacks surprisingly enough
It can shoot lasers from it's back
That’s not how that works
it's a laser so yes it can
But then again the Imperium can just
Terra has a whole Battlefleet above it
Go farther
Yeah can't Shin basically Regen from basically mulch theoretically
Since deleted scenes show that pieces of it had like
Eyes
And mouths
Like Shin is the one godzilla that can't really be powerscaled
Maybe a Virus Bomb can do him in though
He’d do a lot of damage but I don’t think it would be a huge issue dealing with him
Depends on if the writers decide he can absorb or block or is immune it whatever
since the original plan for shin was to essentially become a god
Also psykers of course
Yeah I'm thinking Form 4 would be the limit
Maybe with the Godzilla people
But yeah Form 5 and above would be ridiculous
Shin was supposed to have 8 forms from the OG concept art iirc
Yeah he was supposed to literally create a universe
Honestly thank god that was scrapped tbh
I like Hideki's work but he goes a bit too crazy
Like he's the type to need another writer to reign him in lmao
And thank god it was. Cause Form 6+ is just
Too insane
Form 5 is interesting tho
Yeah too bad the series he comes from is boring as fuck
Do you think they still have hummus in the 42nd millennium
godzilla has many modes, protector of balance/nature he takes on in a lot of films, Literal god, and tortured animal that wants to die
Knowing the Imperium
No
Why?
No joy allowed

Yeah I think my favorite part about Shin Godzilla is how they're basically constantly in agony
Which is a funny thing to like but
I mean their theme is the body and mind iirc
Yeah
mind wishes to die while the body keeps going
Apparently everytime Shin roars, it's actually a scream of agony
Basically that classic Godzilla roar is retextualized from a bestial roar from the God of Monsters to
"AAAAAGH EVERYTHING HURTS. HELP. HELP ME!"
there is also GZ-1 with them prob also being in pain with every step breaking their bones, but their regeneration keeps them going
Yeah Anno was in a severe depression at the time
And to be honest as someone who had and still has depression. I kinda relate in a way?
Not literally
I am not a nuclear fish dinosaur monster
But the general theme of
"The mind wants to give up but the body keeps going"
Shin Godzilla is basically a reflection of the directors own thoughts, feelings, and struggles
...also he put forward a sequel but Toho refused it.
Tbf it was due to them wanting to focus on the Monsterverse
But that's still a bit lame
they have a contract with legendary iirc
neither can have a movie come out in the same year
Yeah that's probably why the proposed sequel was canned
But eh
I should really watch Godzilla X Kong
the next movie we get is gonna be a toho one tho
I love some good ol monster fighting shlock
Nice
prob a sequel to minus one
Minus One was so good
or it should be
it's cinema
unironically
Honestly I think the best part is that they made the human characters
NOT BORING???
Which was surprising to be because most of the Monsterverse had me like
"Oh it's that guy.
Who are you again?"
minus one is one of the few movies with interesting human characters
Ngl watching Minus One I genuinely forgot that it was a Godzilla movie for a solid 30-40 minutes.
So I was genuinely shocked when I saw Godzilla fucking SWIMMING TOWARDS THEIR BOAT LIKE IT WAS JAWS
I always thought one of Godzilla’s most interesting characteristics was his willingness to let humanity do their own thing
Like besides the obvious first movies
He is generally just like “meh, whatever”
Yeah most of his movies have him as a grumpy protector of the Earth
Literally “get off my lawn” type shit
Imagine being Godzilla
You wake up
You see a bunch of little concrete sticks
"Wtf"
You break them
Ants come out and tickle you

And then some asshole cousin comes over and starts a fight
Also I think it's implied in Minus One that Godzilla pre-radiation was basically living in peace with the island
Basically the island gave him fish
He ate fish
Godzilla Hell 💀
Bro kills fucking God
What a fucking comic
The writers room must have had that good zaza
He leaves
Actually no wait
He brings fish to the island
deep sea fish to be precise
I felt like Godzilla is always done best when he is treated like the animal he should be
Yeah, he should only want to be left alone
So basically he was seen as a creature that occasionally popped up, brought fish, and then left
He even spared the protagonist because he froze up in fear instead of shooting at him
Don’t piss off the giant lizard
Bro just wants a nap
I'm guessing the Atomic tests both mutated him and pissed him off
Literally not worth the effort
I guess he saw it as an attack on him and his territory
So he decided to attack back
Yeah an animal will defend its territory
I always found animal like monster very compelling
Like how MH does it
No, these powerful monsters aren’t gods, they are animals, and they do what animals do
Yeah the protagonist had a lot of guilt thinking that if he just fired, he would've not let his entire squad be killed
But the novelization basically said that if he did
He would've died
Not firing would have spared them
All of them
Don’t poke the fucking giant lizard
In fact the only reason why Godzilla Pre-mutation was pissed was because they LITERALLY SHINED A SPOTLIGHT AT HIS EYES
Animals don’t look for a fight
News Flash
All dangerous animals won’t react well to you bothering them
Like they could have researched Godzilla without angering him
Just don’t act like you could be a potential threat
Even things like lions and sharks only attack humans when they want food
Godzilla definitely doesn’t see humanity as food
Even Gorilla’s, known for their aggressive territorial attacks, will never attack someone if they present themselves as a non threat by just lying on the ground and looking small
Obviously Godzilla is also a movie so if he gonna attack he is gonna attack
Yeah actually it was a sort of progression throughout Minus One
Godzilla originally had a symbiotic relationship with the inhabitants of Odo Island, but massacred the original military installation there.
The new military installation shined a spotlight at him and he roared. They fired at him because, jesus christ that's a giant dinosaur, so he massacred them all. Only sparing the protagonist who didn't fire at him.
Then America did the Bikini Atoll tests which actually mutated Godzilla into what we know him as.
And interestingly enough, he started attacking America battleships.
The Americans decided to withdraw support (for some reason)
So the Japanese had to deal with him. He was then fired upon by Japanese Battleships and destroyed them.
ONLY THEN did he start attacking Japan itself.
But I find it funny how brainless the military is sometimes
Every step of the way, something provoked HIM
I understand fear sure but damn
Just leave it alone
We don’t go bothering lions
Well not to the degree they did
Tbf the Japanese Government covered up the incident
So they legitmately didn't know about Godzilla being there during the Nuclear tests
But then again, the Bikini Atoll test was extremely controversial for a reason
Well then it’s too late
Godzilla recognizes humanity as an immediate threat now
Yeah the nuke probably made Godzilla PISSED
Animals remember humans being sources of food if you feed them too much
Same goes for if you hurt it too much
Especially since mutations aren't exactly painless either
Oh yeah and also in the ending of the movie, he was regenerating
Honestly it would be interesting if Angrius or even fucking Ghidorah or whatever was actually the Hero
And Godzilla was the villain
Imagine if gaming computers existed in 40k
But they had a Servitor attached to them for idk
extra RAM
So while you're playing fucking idk
CoD 1 billion
Galaga is actually a training program for navy pilots
You occasionally hear the Servitor monotonely call for help
What the fuck is this machine-spirit an overworked secretary girl?
Tell me what i want you fucking hunk of junk

it needs a break
smh

Shhh don’t give anime artists ideas.
Next we will get Omnissiah as an anime waifu.
Emperor has big tiddies no matter what gender
this is totally unrelated but can i note the cliché at the start of every catastrophe movie of having a bunch of science experts being brought together in a government vehicle and them asking eachother what their specialties are
they aren't?
im pretty sure andromeda strain did it first
Yeah I think it's supposed to just introduce them quickly
IG usually it's because they don't know what they want to talk about
so
"Uhhh hey what are you good at?"
I do that sometimes tbh
Like if I have to make small talk (ew)
and then one scientist is like "this must be important if they're asking for so many scientists"
I usually just desperately ask random bullshit
like i can literally think of 5 movies that do this off the top of my head
Tbf it's a bunch of nerds in one place
You think they're good at small talk

Honestly they should do that in a movie
Have like 5 seconds of silence
someone awkwardly ask what they're good at
and then another just says
"You haven't read the fucking paper? It introduces all of our professions"
"...I am awful at small talk. Please say it because this silence is way too awkward"
also scientists using scientific notation when saying big numbers to sound smarter
"Okay fine. I'm an anthropologist"
as if anybody does that in real life
ah yes the speed of the asteroid is five times ten to the power of four meters per second
this is how humans speak yes
House Corvec was invented for Broken lance so
To be fair. If you're doing a number over 100k, they usually just do notation if they need to
it has no lore really
But they also usually just point at the calculation and say
you dont say it
not anything outsode of the show
like nobody says that
Just
"It's a fucking huge number"
such a cool factiion though I WANT MORE
"Mhm yes that is indeed huge"
let me quote "the day the earth stood still"
nvm here's subtitles
screen automatically blackens screenshots because youtube
like who talks like this
is the age of sigmar apart of the current universe?
also
that's only if the protagonist asks "say that in english"

waiting for a movie or book to have the scientist character say
"That is in english, you want me to speak Chinese?"
Its seperate.
Warhammer Fantasy and Age of Sigmar are in the same timeline
40k is seperate
*not counting certain things (bad lore)
wtf am I looking at
Chaosnids

Yeah the artist said that they weren't proud of the name
So they fucking hid it at the bottom and made it tiny

Fun fact. The only one that is actually possible is the Nurgle one.
Canonically Nurgle has actually infected and corrupted tyranids
Somehow
Ok but how?
I forgot which edition but in the Death Guard Codex. The Tyranids went against the Death Guard.
They basically threw so much viruses and shit that they basically became sludge and the planet became poisonous.
When the first hive ship came near the planet, it started fucking melting.
And was immediately bombarded by the rest of the hive fleet
I think it's the Doom of Hesp
Yup Hesp
Well at least the Tyrannid are smart enough to know to avoid Nurgle planets
I Can expand upon this, that fleet destroyed by another fleet soon after
wait is the new companion romanceable?
ya
she already offered to cut me
nice gal
Mood Lord is a great name you're just tasteless
im tasteless?
Yes
cinema
and she's Bi as well
I'm still upset they took Cassia from me
Indeed
What happens to Cassia?
yummy
shes still in the game
im just starting now
yup
as expected most people are too dumb to realize it's heavily in dev
i blame the hype youtubers for selling the concept too much
She's h * teros * xual
Hype culture strikes again
or grey zone warfare, that earlier extraction shooter that got mega hyped by youtube and the hype and inflated expectations did not match the EA release reality
This is why fighting games are good smh
No overhype
Mortal kombat doesn’t count
That shit is ass
Unironically I hate how weird peoples expectations are for shit now lol
Hype cycles are terrible
straight pride
Forever Winter looks good, but I'll wait until it is actually done before buying
Its also a small-ish team of like 40-50 people
tbh maybe if they did a crowfund instead then people would have gotten the idea that this is a long term project they're investing in
Just a question. How would the Imperium react to a human whose body and genes that are very good to the point that their entire biology tries to survive to evade death. But their telomeres are quite unusual. Testing a Magos Biologis would show they are 94.6% similar to baseline humans though.
For Example. If a Parasite of Mortrex tries to parasitized them with Rippers, but the Rippers inside ends up being absorbed by the human's body due to their cells bonding each other on a cellular level. Of course the Rippers would try to rip their way free, because they're being "eaten" by their prey/host. But the bonding would trigger a mutation to turn the human into a Chimera.
but this is still like pure idiocy for a lot of these pre purchasers. they're getting an actual playable very early access and they complain that it's buggy
the only real problem i can see is the water system which is an interesting design choice
So a perpetual?
but i've seen dumber design choices and tbh i always respect devs who have the balls to stick to dumb ideas if it means following a creative vision they have
as long as it's not monetized
again it's not tied to real life money at least
No but its still kinda frustrating when considering what the average gamer does
like a game is allowed to make you anxious and feel emotions other than fun
we'll see what they do
Oh yeah I agree games should be allowed to do that (see Pathologic 2) but absolutely stripping you of stuff because you didnt play enough feels cheap I guess?
Its not even a difficulty thing; its just a real ass timer before your stuff is gone
But I dunno if this game would be kinda like Lethal Company tbf where its all very instance based and nothing is meant to last
honestly having a game where people end up not really caring about building up wealth could be a result lol
Sounds like how some servers wipe
That would not be the worst result
as opposed to like tarkov where people just care about getting end game crap the moment a wipe happens
Gotta get that loot
Not Really. More like an abhuman who has a built in reactive adaption into them, making them more better than the average human without augments. Though it depends on what happening to them. Not super crazy though. If they break a few bones. The broken bones heal completely within a day. Though they can't regenerate an entire limb. Unless something that completely changes their biology does so like from my example.
not gonna lie man this is highly specific stuff
I think they'd be eye'd suspiciously especially if theres another person thats recovering from a similar injury as this guy
what would make them stand out in the first place
we're talking some dude in a billion other humans
Yeah but we're still talking about the ability to basically heal quicker than anyone else
Which maybe the first few times, maybe they're lucky or they're blessed with the Emperor's luck
I think after and the same people kept observing this phenomena, I would think some would grow suspicious of whats going on
considering how the imperium uses abhumans i bet some agency or another would want to use this person
as long as they're useful
and since he mentions mago biologis doing tests... yeah those guys would want to rip the superhuman apart to see if they can replicate this phenomenon
the general rule for mutants in the imperium is if they dont look vomit inducing and they have a use they're tolerated
I counterargue that point with Beastmen since, lets be real here, they're not good looking
counter counter point:
i disagree
Counter Counter Counter point:
They smell like shit which is worse since they're covered in fur
That shit will stick even longer
counter counter counter counter point:
fur shampoo
Counter Counter Counter Counter Counter point:
I dont think they consider animal hygiene that important to create products like fur care
counter counter counter counter counter counter point:
do you think the imperium does beastman fur trade actually?
Oh thats a good thought
Id imagine the fur on a beastman is probably matted and kinda not great to use tbh but theres probably some desperate sods that would try something
i feel like most of the fur work is done for you since the skin is human shaped
but im not a furologist
Yeah theres a lot to go around but I doubt the quality is good
this also requires killing beastmen which is not an ideal situation
they tend to fight back
They also will just go further into becoming chaos underlings, if they werent already
Also the fur by then will be chaos tainted
wearing chaos tainted fur, what's the worst that can happen

Unrelated but cool as fuck
Cool things that are interesting
-The city lights angered Godzilla so they turned them all off. Godzilla basically just ignored the entire city due to this
-The radiation burned bodies and one fucking convulsing with mutations.
-Humanity literally abandoning New Zealand to Angurius
-Their mere presence also growing vegetables and fruits gigantic. Implying some things about the food chain in this Earth's past
Anyways autism talk over
This is what I mean by biologically changed into a chimera with the human if parasitized.
Though would it change if the individual still retained their some of their humanity or no? Well except looking like one, of course.
No, man mutating in front of everyone = probably not really human anymore, and probably going to lose his mind and could be chaotic in nature, kill
Mind you, this is what the average Imperium officer or soldier would think, so there could be exceptions
The only thing I know that could make exceptions would be Inquisitors and Rogue Traders.
Imperium Wise.
Exactly
Otherwise I dont think they'd be trusted if they're even left alive while under the command of any Imp Guard regiment or while working at the average civvie job
How much sway does a well-off rogue trader have?
Can they really just snatch up contentious people like psykers and abhumans without question? Or is that artistic liberty?
As much authority as they can afford effectively. Outside the Imperium they can basically do whatever the hell they want provided they take the appropriate steps to make sure tales of their heresy never reach back to the appropriate authorities.
Inside the Imperium it's all a matter of the individual dynasty's wealth and connections. If a new dynasty with a single ship rocks up and starts making demands of a Planetary governor they're not really obligated to listen. But if an established Rogue Trader who owns dozens of warp capable ships, has half the sectors nobility indebted to him and greases the palms of every senior Administratium official he comes across asks you to lend him a few of your PDF guys to deal with an insurrection on one of his mining colonies it might pay to go along with him.
But they can recruit anyone in their retinue. Of course there will be scrutiny.
When one of those well-off guys roll into a sector it's basically up to whether or not they've greased the right palms? So I'm guessing it's just like walking a tightrope where you have to have enough rep for people not to look too closely, or have enough forces on call to mess them up if they do.
Yea, unless the previous predecessor already established such a powerbase for them to inherit.
they can literally have orks and tau on their group as long as they aren't completely full blowing themselves to heresy
For real dough. A greenskin will neva listen ta a 'umie.
yeah but he might humor this one
I mean, wouldn't an ork turn me into fucking smeared pasta on sight though?
I can't exactly bribe an ork
you can
I don't own teeth, or uhh "teef" as they call them
then bribe him with fights and scrap
loot and fighting is the two things that make an ork an ork
Or git some teef.
yeah you can acquire some by killing other orks and give it to him
There's also big shoot'n' dakka too an' big booms.
memes aside, aren't orks vicious, ruthless apex predators with the ability to display vicious cunning and tactics? why wouldn't he just paste the humie anyway?
because you answered your question vicious cunning and tactics
If he sticks around with this posh humie that is rich he might find some interesting things to kill
a rogue trader it's almost always gonna get into some hilarious adventures
Just saying, but a Ork who grows big enough to be smart is scary. Kinda funny though that he realizes how stupid everyone else is around him.
and there is a klan of orks that work as mercenaries
these guys are hated by other orks because they have tactics and the common sense
Honestly, after reading into orks, they kinda scare me.
they will say cripple your supply lines scout out your base
assassinate your soldiers in their sleep
fun stuff
A legit unstoppable bio-weapon capable of fighting tyrannids and daemons to a standstill
Even more hated than the Lootas and Bad Moons.
yep
you can literally play an ork Freeboota in the rogue trader tabletop
Technically Tyrannids would win more over Orks. Except for The Snakebites that specialize in killing Tyrannids, by killing. I mean hunting. They kidnap some and unleash them on worlds, espically humie worlds for a good Laughz.
Too bad most Weridboyz blow up their heads.
most but Foot of Gork
is funny
A gud laughz and stumping da gits get.
I LOVE ORKS!!!! I LOVE MY SIMPLE YET COMPLEX GREEN LITTLE GOOBERS!!!
Literally just accidentally has a perfectly stable economic system
I just love the vibe of "fuck around and find out" and "we're gonna do this thing using whatever is available to us simply because we want to/is fun" and to hell with things like "consequences" or "possibility of horrific injury"
I will take any chance I can to infodump and clear up misconceptions on orks
also listen to this zoggin orky music
How about that group of Orks becoming a tank?
this is really funny to me lol
Isnt real, grimdank slop
Da boyz arent stupid enough to think that a buncha orks put together equals a tank, you gotta have things like trakks and armor and shooty gubbins, and loads of dakka for a tank
Listen to the tunes of the Six Shootas while you tear it up in Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef. Get riled up by the uplifting music and your blood pumping while Gargaz inflicts carnage throughout the hive city Luteus Prime.

How about the self-destruct button. Aka the big red one.
yeah their Belief powers isn't that powerful
but nowadays it's becoming more and more the case
They usually have the big red button to make cars, ships, and planes to make it go fast.
Well dat's only in orky wagons, humies are too scared of putting things like that in their wagons
Like dilara herself said it that ork belief is becoming more and more memes
i hope it doesn't happen like that but what can i do
the tank thing is an old imgur meme anyways
yep
Well of course we gotta have plenty of buttons to press
its hard to keep track though
so you just try that one and hope whatever it does is funny
if its not to your liking you just press em faster
Imagine a shrivelin' gretchin run about getting chased by a squig and the tin' git presses the self-destruct button on accident.
You can always just paint your mode of transport red for a bit o' extra speed, add flames to it as well
An then all the boyz have a good larf
well, except for the mek that built it
Is it blue that makes things go more bigger boom?
no yellow
that's luck
but then he gets to make anuvva one
thought it was orange and yellow was something else
Is purple really invisible?
the color things ARE real
no
thats a joke
cause purple isnt used
so you technically "dont see" a purple ork
I knew it would come up
besides purple
red = speed
yellow = dakka
blue = luck
black = ard
and green is best
But those commando orkz are real sneaky gitz though.
that is it
dont need purple
Black being tough is a goff signature
I cant remember cause its been a while since I looked into blood axes despite them being my second favorite klan, but isnt it even scarier than that, just like really makeshift "kamoflage" that just works even though it shouldnt
Question. What clan was Warboss Grimzskull apart of?
Also his the most ripped Ork I ever saw.
That git has Abz.
Evil Suns
based on his colors
their the speed guys
they're the ones that propagate the belief that red things go faster
and it does
they're straight up addicted
yeah
to the point that theyre almost unusable
Not gonna lie. I don't trust Painboys. They can steal your big and put onto themselves.
When they knock you under of course.
one time someone did
a warboss was getting smaller it turns out his pain boy was taking a little bit off the top every time
it was too late for the war boss to notice
Think purple was a 'sneaky' colour but not outright invisible
and the pain boy already bigger than him and stronger
Not gunna lie. Stupid git deserved if he didn't seez it comin'.
They'll do far worse
but when you're head gets lopped off, its good to have a trustworthy one to slap it back on
I dont think it was really used much at all
Imagine if the dok drank a bit too much of fungal beer that one tim' and puts the wrong head back onto the body.
could be, seen a couple artworks with Kommandos having purple accent colours but that might just be the hive mind of the fandom effecting the artists
And it's the head of a gretchin.
Happens
How funny would it be if a Ork wanted to dress up as a Harlequinn. But of course the gitz is too big for the outfit.
How long would the Sailor Scouts survive in 40k
So odd question, but does the orks logic that red things go faster actually work?
yes
And does it only work on Ork gear or can it affect others in red, like the world eaters?
only ork gear
ork beliefs only work on ork
Only ork gear and not in a manner that make it work itself, it's just buffs
Are necrons just stupiidly op for 40k
Yesn't
Necrons would be oppressively OP—if they weren't as moronic and petty as the biological foes they incinerate with their rayguns. They infight constantly and are held back by vanity and politics.
and if majority of them weren't asleep
@remote blaze
That is from an edition that hasn't been relevant in probably 20 years
I could've sworn we got chaos beastmen not too long ago in like a killteam or something
oh there are confirmed ones
again you were saying they were never a thing lol
I've been asking for Beastman guard for a while. GW never uses their coolest concepts.
Did they ever retcon the beastmen though?
The segment in Lost and the Damned covering how beastmen are usually murdered at birth may do something to that degree, yes.
They're abominations in the crusade era, imagine what they are considered now
Most beastmen have beastman parents
Yeah like it's an old thing
They wouldn't be classified abhumans if the imperium didn't have any use for them
So I don't think beastman parents are killing their kids for the sin of being beastmen
The imperium considers literally fucking everything to be abominations how does this matter
Everything suggests in 40k beastmen are just a human subspecies that gets especially dunked on by the imperium because they look extra freaky, so most of them turn to chaos. The ones that don't get sent to the Guard in most cases.
Beastmen are still present in the lore, and are still actually present in certain Imperial regiments, but not in every sectors

Contradictions
Yes
Retcons
no
Like you said
Read a book
It's not even retconned
Beastmen in the 8th edition rulebook are mentioned as still being present in the guard
And in 10th edition some age of strife stuff mentions beastmen
you shall not convince me otherwise
Me when my notoriously inconsistent setting isn't consistent and one line in a book isn't genuine irrefutable gospel
i hunger for genest3ealer pussy and there is only one thing that will sate it
one of the vet personalities mentions serving with a beastmen regiment and how awful they smell
The Inquisition Wars are the only canon part of 40k, everything that came after was fanfic
Good job lorebros another cringe gen chat leak sealed
yea na it will always be canon to me
Deathwatch books 💀
Shianna Varlan I am so sorry for you.
they are willing to spend some cash huh
yeah i want too see if they will make an age of sigmar one just like the last one
Are the new OSTs out?
i want a imperator class titan action figure bro
cuz like everybody gangsta till the church starts walkin
Beastmen has no contradictory shit in it and has never been really retconned in any capacity lol
Probably helps they have like a single lore piece and everyone forgot about them
^
yeah, people say it's too old no longer a thing too much
there is a difference to not existing and just being way too old
guys are there any good imperator titans action figs?
nope
Closest we've got is the Warmasters
And then the husk of one in SM2
awww
As of 6th edition. I was incorrect, they are technically still considered abhuman, but if there are regiments walking about in 10th with no explanation that would indeed be retconny.
Only army list or kill teams they currently are options on are Chaos as well.
Everything is canon
The lore has always been that they are abhuman/mix of mutant.
The fact that its canonically muddled kinda speaks for itself tbh
Also there's Gor Halfhorn
He's specifically mentioned as being sanctioned
what about spacemarines?
Someone likes him so he gets a pass, and they need all the help they can get to make Necromunda interesting
Necromunda
Uninteresting
This is a Gen chat take fr
id love for theere to be more warhammer action figs
Necromunda's "LOOK AT ALL THE STUFF!" approach drowns it. Gang aspects are neat, but internally they're all just clones.
Worst take ive seen in ages.
Corpsegrinders and the fire folk are the real heroes, but they only get a throwaway book.
People love necromunda, theres nothing wrong with making a planet have an actual aesthetic and culture with more gangs and factions
If you want slop go back to default tabletop

It's a microcosm of 40k itself
It's a skirmish game based on the Hive world of Necromunda
A very angry hive city with colourful residents that do the same thing all the time
oh
not related to Necrons right?
no
it just has "necro" in the name because it sounds cool
its a very rich-in-lore hiveworld
Big angry will now fight angry women, but look out! saavy angry is here to double cross! - every necromunda story
I dont even like, understand the complaint
huh
Same tbh
I do like the specific mention of "angry women"
Prolly means Escher
I mean Escher are based tho
Real
FOR REAL
If you have a better descrptor for House Escher than "Angry peacock women" I'll hear it
Aztec Amazonian Ganger Gals with toxic weapons and dangerous wild animal-pets?
No one is going to say all that
I will lol
they are based
the fuck is "peacock women"
yeah then aztec sci-fi amazonians
The optimist assumption is colourful show offs
lol
That are perpetually mad and bright purple/yellow all the time
So Angry Peacock Women
Dilara can I make them red
Everyone on Necromunda is always angry
That’s like saying “marines with power armor”
^
That yeah lol
Certainly, hence the angry bigs and saavy angry
Why are you constantly saying they are "angry"
did an escher stood you up on a date or something
LOL
Do you have a medical condition that you will die when you don't say the word or type the word angry
in the wiki is there any idea who are the redacted primarchs?
Nobody knows
No
We have very little info and GW isn’t interested in exploring it
We dont talk about the missing primarchs..
which legions are the ones no one knows about again?
Their entire factions can be boiled down to nothing. What are the goals? achievements? stakes? characters? It's just stereotypes wailing on each other.
While the entire setting is that, most places have the decency to tell me why they are killing each other and who's telling them to do it.
not one
why the suspense
Yeah its based.
Like gw doesnt actually talk about it
It’s gang warfare
They did something and got expunged is all we know
Julius Caesarus Primach Of The Imperial legionnaries
lol
You do realize you are adding goals and achievements and stakes on a setting notorious for not having any of that because it's for selling plastic
It’s not too complex I guess but like I don’t think it’s unclear
They’re fighting for control of the hive
I know the names of my local gang leaders, why can't I know who leads any of the houses?
This stuff is told lol
kinda do wanna know who those primarchs are
Like you dont have to like necromunda thats cool
Just read
Well you won’t
"Oh its just people shooting each other"
cuz in honesty theyd be older that lion el jonson as well?
No
We have no idea about any of them

But regardless it doesn’t matter
i mean by this
but like imagine if the lost primarchs are like monsters
^
They were originally placeholders for character created chapters so people could shoehorn their homebrew chapters into the game. May become a story later but they are only mentioned in passing.
just go read the lexicanum page on them if you wanna be satisfied slightly
im not arguin just sayin
Everyone who comes into the setting hears about them and wants to talk about them
Thats false and not true
room for thought
One of the original writers for 40k said they just added them as a historical reference.
Necro when someone who is explaining lore to you in 40K says it is pointless it is absolutely fucking pointless
thats all it is
some things are literally just added there for the sake of mystery
the "they are for homebrew ideas" was a dumb fan theory
just imagination bro
Yeah
my bad
guess so
Precious little is known about two of the twenty Space Marine Legions, numbered II and XI, and their respective Primarchs, as their records are simply noted as having been "expunged" or "destroyed" in Imperial listings of the 20 Legions.
However, nothing is known for sure about the names of the Legions, their Primarchs, homeworlds and their ulti...
Most you will get is this
this lexicanum page lists all their mentions and bits of "lore"
its all vague and purposefully left unknown FYI
Lexicanum
k
wiki if you wanna read shit from official material for free
or are just feelng like
"man i want a story book version"
lol
but also keep in mind that there are things in the wiki that are not in the lex
Yeah that too
but that is a very rare thing to happen
they straight up copy paste from official books
or uh
make shit up
since the owner of the wiki is some ex-military moron
also likes space wolves
hmmm coincidence?
but like

ah feck it ill drop it
What is it

leave it
Basically the truth is they literally got nothing
all you can read/find is on that lexi page
i know i know
we genuinely dont know
ill see later
Lexi is better but they’re still often not up to date on newer stuff or miss stuff
But it’s better than the wiki
Primarch of The 7th Universe Son Goku
The source is always the best if you can get that
Fun fact
Nuceria is part of the 500 worlds Gulliman owns which makes this scene
Fucking funny
wildest shit
whats the deal with Mcragge?
They had no contact with the Imperium at large since Angron had been taken
Guillimans homeworld
Sigmar is capital city i suppose?
What
im lost on that part of the lore
Sigmar is a character in fantasy and Age of Sigmar
ah
ive heard some mentions of him in 40k
like very fickle
I somehow doubt that
he’s not a 40k character
He’s not in 40k
There might be things named Sigmar but I can’t recall any
same as kugath
It’s not the same
but hes mentioned
Sigismund is close enough
Sigismundmar confimed, running it now. On my way to change the wiki, you can't stop me.
