It's good and challenging, there are adjustments that can be made to improve upon it. I Don't know everything that i need to about it because I don't really care, i just want to have fun.-My point of view as a causal gamer.

The division of tasks is way more even than in single player, since the ai companions have nerf guns and multiplayer seems to use different balancing entirely so it's not a fair comparison

Vanguard, Heavy, and Sniper are probably imo the best comp. Tactical and bulwark also can work. Assault can work but it has some issues.

Its main problem is its best stuff and neccsary stuff is super later in its skill tree.

Every game I've played has one bulwark and one heavy. I run tactical so we can handle anything with relative ease. Vanguard is like assault but without the jump pack and the shield for bulwark is more generally useful.

Sniper is just heavy with less ammo.

Heavy and sniper are very different but sniper also is a slow burn class.

It becomes insane eventually though.

Being invisible helps you but not your team. The force field lets the heavy draw more attention safely
