You know how the clone wars in Star wars was just name dropped and should have never been explained?
Horus heresy.
Is that the whole shtick?
Yuuuup
Fuck it imma make fan lore on that
Hells personal BDSM specialists
What'd u mean
Based
How much?
Dark angels when they hear there's a fallen two continents away
Was like $75
JESUS
Exactly
Wait why am I surprised its warhammer
Did lion and rogal dorn ever have any interactions? Because to me honestly they both are kinda the same personality wise
Im glad most of the limited edition stuff GW makes is trash
Why?
Like how bad we talkin
Buy the $1000 limited edition Titan figure or else
dorn is very stoic and stern

Its not even that cool
Its more like special book covers and shit
Get this limited edition pin of calgar or some gay shit
That is lame
Why Neopagan specifically
Like you could have picked triple goddess and you chose neopagan
At least Forgeworld Imperial Warlord Titans look cool
...
Despite the fact that they are fucking
$3220 US DOLLARS
Yeah I guess I should forgo things like
Food
Water
Ain't the lion the same
Your life
Your soul
Gotta live like an Imperial fr
I'm going to print out a gif
Only like one in a short story
Just dont forget to write me in your will before you take your life though
Was not great
No bitches as well
Nah I'm blaming and doxxing you fr

Mike’s signature makes it kinda worth it tho lol
They argued
That's it?
Prettyyyyy
Okay that was worth it
Much
Man has a spike for a head
That smile

It’s his Mohawk lol
Damn kinda expected a fight
It is a spike now
I defy reality and substitute it for my own
I fw Mike brooks honestly

Alr Tzeentch
Swag
Yeah nah, only fighting that ever took place was between their sons
When the dark angels massacred the imperial fists guarding Cthonia
Nice
@opaque coyote what is ur pfp bro
And the sons of Horus
And the raven guard
And the titans
Killed a lotta folks on Cthonia
Imagine if a titan worked like a dreadnought
who gonna tell him
No like don't they have multiple people in them?
The princess and then like the crew
Princeps
yes but the Princep, the one that connects with the titan, on occasion can quite literally be put inside of a tank
when they get too damaged or something
their bodies literally falling apart you know stuff like that
No no I meant like how a dreadnought is just like his broken body and him in the sarcophagus
Just imagine if they put those damaged marines into titans
Imagine the amount of life support they'd need
Don't they also get their souls absorbed into the titan when they die
And essentially sort of
Become part of them
yeah that too
It's still basically the same of putting a guy who is dying on life support to pilot a war machine so
My question was about the inner half not about control
Ain't the guy controlling have a full body
Found ittt
That...is rough
Imperus Nox was a warmaster btw
machine
see what i did there
Yea I actually wanted to ask about the warmaster title for titans what's up with that and horus being called the warmaster as well
Just called in honor of him ig
warmaster is a general title. there's still people who are warmasters in 40k
But...didn't he like betray the imperium and allat...and was widely hated
it's being in charge of a whole crusade
So the biggest commander
Yeah like Jay said, just a term at the end of the day
yeah but it really doesn't matter having a full body when it gets obliterated so they need to put the princep somewhere, and Princeps especially on the larger Titans are hard to find so if they get too hurt but they like you know still can think or you know have the ability to use their brain they're putting a type of tank for the Titan
like if all of their limbs got blown off
They are called lord solars nowadays
Ph
just shove them inside the tank and put it on the titan and there we go
Oh
i distinctively remember there being a warmaster in charge of the sabbat crusade in the tanith books
So when thy lose their arm they actually lose it in the cockpit as well?
Like function
Siege of Cthonia is one of the better conflicts of the heresy
I mean the way the planet died alone
OK a Princep is not on their Titan 24/7, yes they can control it will having a full body the thing is it causes a lot of strain
it is quite literally happening at the end
I mean just because a King was hated doesn't mean that the idea of a king is ruined y'know
since it ends at the same time horus dies
Sometimes though they suffer some accident or are too physically weak to pilot it so they are put in a type of tank
They put like these bombs that opened warp portals and it ate chunks of the planet
sustain their life
Mhm
The one kinda titans I never liked where the ones with the churches on their back like why
so that they can still pilot it
Understood
What's the titans with the churches on their backs called again?
imagine being stuck on cthonia while terra is on the brink of destruction
And then the church walks in
Emperor Class Titans
"guess I'll die"
Exactly
The Emperor does one 360 on his throne
The entirety of Terra is powered by the Emperor spinning on his throne
the largest titan the imperium can employ

enough plasma to power a hive city
Don't those churches have sisters shooting down from em as well?
Meanwhile daemons, dudes yelling at you about how they’re death, and everyone else on the plant wants you dead
it's the mechanicus
Which was a really cool part of it they don’t mention in the campaign book
The dark angels open every single vox link, and they have all of their pyskers chanting
If the imperium had finances they'd be spending an incredibly massive chunk on these big fuckers
Just to overwhelm the enemy
They are stated to be 150 meters tall I believe?
is there a point where the underground actually is where the fighting is? i didn't fully read the book yet
“We have come, we are death” like its badass as hell
that's the thing it's basically just there for show and can be countered by infantry that's why it's supported by other Titans
Everybody gangsta until the church starts walkin
Mhm. A majority of it was fighting in the underground mines
Heavily impractical
But also
That’s where the daemons start rising from as well
Really fucking cool
huh i only read the start with the gravitic mines and shit
Guessing it's just an intimidating force like mimic?
Yeah I feel like the Imperator should be as tall as the Effiel Tower at least
ohh no it has enough firepower to level an entire city
campaign books are sooo long
Yeah no there’s a whole battle between the thousand sons and the word bearers underground
the thing is that infantry can sneak past its shields and blow it up
That's shit
But wasn't there one that was like way bigger
Yeah the Imperium is filled with
Very cool but very impractical weapons
It was called abominatus or something right,
Which honestly fits them perfectly
That is still immensely tall
people just got no idea how big these buildings are
Remembered another time, the Lion kidnapped some imperial fists who came to him asking for aid defending Rogal Dorns homeworld. He forced them to join his crusade instead
It is.
Unfortunately my 6 year old self says they want it bigger

LARGER
Kinda sometimes wonder how deadly the castigator wud be
The wish to buy a reaver is strong
2 titans who I've heard a lot about is 1: Abominatus and 2:Castigator
My only doubt is were they canon
just remind yourself of how painful assembling it will be
I know that casigator was basically AI
Look at this goofy guy
Abominatus is very old lore but he was basically a titan that was being used as an Body for a demon
And Abominatus got taken over
That is sick
Wtf am I looking at
Punisher Class Titan
Castigator was basically the largest Titan in imperial history until it got possessed by chaos and it was obliterated including the blueprints on how to make it
But he was by far the biggest the imperium had right?
A bit too cluttered tho
|| i kinda want one ||
Exactly
I do like castigator and abominatuss design
I need my tripod titan
They're names are cool as well
Abominasus.....
But seriously tho how fucked wud the imperium be if either of them were bought back
Uh i guess like a planet or two
Castigator and abominatus
Which voice set is the best for psyker in darktide
Wasn't abominatus called the disposer of worlds or something
Oh what a grave mistake I've made
By Hotkoin
I still think Dies Irae deserved a cooler death
i like the dies irae character arc
WHY @storm jungle U DID THISSSS
the whole istvan virus bombing is epic as hell
Wud a titan survive a virus bomb?
Welp Time To Batter your skull into a gooey red paste
Yeah probably
I mean it isn't organic
it literally does so in the book
We know it would, they just had to close all their ventilation
I'll join u bro honestly
That whole thing was kinda overshadowed by garros save
yeah they basically closed all vents
Then the control crew fought
I'm kinda new to 40k brother so I don't know much
THE VOICES
How big are warhounds compared to the dreadnoughts tho?
Cause the princeps was traitor and the support lad was one of the earlier emperor worshipers
then we never hear of the dies irae from first person perspective again, it's become the enemy so we only see the effects of its bombardments
Quite big
Warhounds are the smallest titans I know
I CAN FEEL THE WARP OVERTAKING ME
IT IS A GOOD PAIN
i recommend the first 30k books
Oh we got a slaaneshi one here
Y'know funnily enough, the worst thing you can call a Khornate Berserker is literally call them a Slaaneshi mf
Literally
It's like calling them a slur
Idk if a berserker is gonna understand many of the insults thrown at them lol
I'm just imagining some Guardsman accidentally mistaking a Khornate Marine for a Slaaneshi one
They are the insult
And they somehow get even more eneaged
Eneaged
i thought leviathans were much bigger
Doesn't seem so brother
They seem that way, but I’ve got one myself and it’s pretty much just width they’ve got
I’ve yet to build my Deredeo
I'm the grammar necromancer bro I am tryna revive that dead pronunciation
Literally
The funniest thing is that World Eaters are actually extremely intelligent and well read.
It's just that the nails fucking suck.
I can imagine one calmly reading a book only for the Nails to start biting. And then they immediately start fighting the Librarian (not the SM rank)
They cost about as much ingame
Man kinda wish space marine 2 wud allow us to play as a dreadnought
Shrinkflation moment
So you’re telling me I can make my boy Enoch spout shakespire in the middle of combat
Ingame, as in, in the tabletop you dope
Hold up almost forgot....how tf does marneus calgar fight with no arms and one leg?
He gives head
very carefully
Crazy suit

Funnily enough yeah
He be walking like blackbeard when the suits off
Pogo stick
You can have one angrily quote Edgar Allen Poe
Or that sailor dude in family guy
Beautiful
Honestly them mechanics in warhammer can get ya far
There was a marine in the heresy who was almost entirely metal cause his gun literally killed his body when he used it
Sounded like a Dalek
Iron warriors moment
Wait what? Weren't ferruses sons heavy into prosthetics
Which is the worst fate to suffer in yalls opinion in the 40k verse
I mean they had a gun that literally erases your atoms in all of time and space
Which is lovely
Oh boy where to start
probably drukhari
Taken by the Deldar
Slaanesh slave
Make sure your brain is gone
Cant revive you if theres nothing left
Dark eldar are bad but they’re just the imitations
just guarentee a catastrophic containment failure
Nah they're technically the original
Remember that the Eldar created Slaanesh
In a way ya
there is no limit to the horrors that could be inflicted onto you if a chaos entity wants you to suffer for some reason or another
I just mean like, eldar make slaanesh, slaanesh fucks em up, dark eldar become super fucked to not get taken by slaanesh. I just imagine a chaos god could do worse to you
True, Deldar do have some limits
tech and ability wise
Servitorization is still imo one of the worst fates
Someone should make a lore accurate probability wheel for imperium apologists to spin to see what theyd actually be
exceptionally small chance of being rogue trader/nobility/space marine
and also to show what your fate would be ultimately
that would be fun
79% chance to become a factorum worker and be worked to death
60% being a normal citizen
35% being servitor
5% having a decent existence
yeah but it would have to be broken down into each thing you could be as a human so it would be a shitton of slices on the wheel
I guess gue'vesa and non imperium options would be on there
it would just be what would you likely be as a human if you got put in the world
Yeah the 5% is shit like being a noble, Inquistor, etc. etc.
Coalesced into one slice
Actualyl can someone make that
Also it depends on where you live
personally I think that 5% drives the point home if you break it up into all the seperate slices to show just how unlikley each one is
can we collab as a community to make this for funsies
Like if you're in a Mechanicus planet the Servitor chance increases a lot
make what
A pi chart that tells your chances of becoming what in the Imperium
could be by planet
as a human specifically
doesnt have to be just imperium
a pi chart would be useless for that. it would be too hard to tell the slices
like if you randomly got shunted into a random human in 40k
You wouldnt have to actually be able to see it
you have more chances of winning the lottery than being an important imperial if we go by the fact that there's trillions of humans
it would be a digital tool to spin it
I know, I just really wanna drive that point home to imperium apologists
and it might be a fun thing to do with your friends
Also you would need a separate subchart for things like
Becoming an SM
I mean, thats possible
In what way?
What is this some sort of awakening?
yesn't
no he's also literally called the Prince of pleasure
Basically he's any type of beauty
There is no gender for slaneesh
he doesn't have or she doesn't have a gender
I get that but a lot of his features look feminine
Lotta lean to that side
Againe
people are just horny
Slaneesh has no gender
I'm losing it dude
It is whatever you desire to be
It's basically whatever form is pleasing to the person
Exhibit A
That means slaneesh is real...cuz...I wanted it to be a girl
Mentally
Oh no
It worked
Weird place to come out
GAHH
Go tell your family before everyone here gets second hand embarrassment
It's a joke but like still
Somehow i doubt it
It's pictures are so odd
😁
I am no heretic brother
I didnt say heretic
U imply so
I said boy liker

But jokes apart
What are the eldar gods
Cuz like khorne saved a bunch of em apparently before I read somewhere
no literally nothing else like that's why Slannesh's demons look like this it's because beauty isn't stuck to one gender
Before he got his back folded like an omelette
Slannesh's form is just what you think is attractive
Not gonna work on me
Only Khaine
What do eldar gods like even do
Godstuff
Opinions on Kharn the betrayer lads?
Khaine being the god of war
Only 4 Eldar god are still active
Khaine
Isha
Cegorach
And the new born Ynnead
So why don’t any Slannesh Daemons look like Transformers 1 Megan Fox?
he exists
Similar stuff to the Emperor
Isha Being life
Based opinion lright here
That's just you you weird mechanical machinations of horniness
And u called me weird @fallen plaza
Slaanesh is largely referred to as a man.
I feel like saying “Megan Fox is hot especially transformers 1 Megan Fox” isn’t exactly a scalding hot take.
I’m sure at least some pretend to look like them
only Eldar refer to Slaanesh as a female
The 'Dark Prince'
Take the L brother
But if it is, I’ll die on that cross
in reality he has no gender but hes been referred to as a guy for so long it basically doesnt matter
Also lorgar’s homeworld
Yep
who gives a shit about lorgar
I mean yes but I just really don't care about your opinion on that topic
Slaanesh: some/thing that's how i do it
Bros gender is as fluid as water
Ad Ridiculous is really ripping on the SM2 story rn.
Shame yeah and literally one of his prominent titles is prince of darkness
Good
gimme a link
The story is pretty basic
The visuals are what made it
It’s a very generic story though besides that

Based ty
What's the shtick of the tyranids
If I read a book with that story I’d be very annoyed
Shy did a video about it as well and ripped into it a bit
Are they like the orks?
good to have some actual takes that arent just meatriding this game tbh
Endless horde of aliens who want to consume everything
Led by a hive mind
the game is good but people saying its GOTY material is actually crazy
Sorta like orks?
Orks just simply wage war
the obligatory bug alien race like Zerg
they are a horde faction
Which game
It follows the basic formula of a shooter game, which i get. I thought the story was good, as a 40k novice

that adapt
Sister it was lost in the fray relax
Yeah it’s a lot of fun and I’m very happy with it but its story is super low effort writing wise.
Ok ok found it
Scroll up silly
how about you grow some eyes on that skull of yours
Can't do that
but if not the story, then the world environment is where it shined.
Yeah
I'd have to be deadpool for that
Space marine 2 had great visuals yea
All the operations and story maps were cool and unique
Use Magic ya Bony fuck
Lots of cool details
cast power word Sight
Not tzeentch worshipper
Sm2 is fun but it's missing something. I'm sure the planned upcoming content roadmap will improve the overall experience
It’s got some stuff to iron out
What do u think it's missing?
Genuine question
I'm just glad we didn't have another Leandros situation with Titus' new guys, i would've rolled my eyes on that
Idk they can always add more stuff
I see a lot of people saying that its mid while im sat here thinking its a 7.5 out of ten and having an amazing time.
It’s good, it’s just not an amazing story writing wise
If you don’t like or care about 40k this ain’t gonna win you over but I think it’ll make a lot of fans who jive with it
And please existing fans
If they add like a lore compendium or something where u cud go to like different crucial events in the imperiums lifespan...that wud be cool but complicated
I mean space marine one is that as well, the only aspect I say they improved on was the multiplayer
It does need a codex too
Oh, yeah 100%. Its a cod story with amazing setpeices and memorable moments. And imo thats great.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the game a lot. I just feel like the pvp is bare. As for the campaign / coop it just need polishing
Space marine 1 while cool was much much more generic
Wudve loved to see robu guiliman to be honest tho
Rating scales are broken so, 7/10 is what lots of people consider to be Mid
yes especially on the multiplayer front
I've yet to step into the PVP ring, i've only watched videos of it
I'm happy if the game does well since it means the next one will (probably) improve upon
I’ve played SM1 recently, it really wasn’t even visually special for the time
This is far fetched I'd say
Well what do you expect it's the classic linear action game where you shoot up and destroy stuff
It had good combat for its time
Thats because this game is very much targeted at people like you that wojak point and go "omg" at spectacles.
which isnt a bad thing
I love seeing people malding at how hard sm2 is, sorry to ruin your space marine power fantasy, but your still mortal and if you get shot a bunch you still die
Eh it was ok, I’d say this one is an improvement on every front, especially visually
it's the multiplayer where space marine two wins out on
I kinda feel like the thunder hammer got a bit nerfed
that was pretty much the intent, i think they were going for mass appeal
but people circlejerking the campaign like its some next level storytelling is a bit weird
SM1 was part of that era where everything was brown and grey
Yeah, I agree that there is a lot wrong but i overall think its a 👍 . Im just surprised at how many people are not so pleased with the game while im usually pretty critical.
I liked the massive head of it it wud look so cool
And nids are busted
Its not that surprising tbh
idk why people are even shocked by it
The time in that era wasn't exactly different
No Grimskull equivalent 6 out of 10
U know I actually wonder sometimes what happened to leandros
most newbies are still stuck on the power fantasy
I'm satisfied with my purchase. I'll delve more into the coop missions. Might get more interesting at higher levels with more perks and higher difficulties
Guys
,,,,
how do we tell him
well
I also want to try the upcoming horde mode
shit
What?
do you want me to spoil you so bad you become a rotting corpse
its not even a good one
I'm new to 40k I genuinely don't know
It ain't bait
I mean it is somewhat guessable
Ive just played my first few games of multiplayer pvp and it just feels like its got that halo energy to it and im having a blast. So far at least.
Leandros is the chaplain that just berates you every time you get back on the ship and he gets revealed like 10s before the game is over
I don't know Jackshit
^
he became a chaplain
Oh
its so easy to guess its funny
look at that
No fuckin way
we had multiple conversations about him here
I just realized what do ultramarine chaplins even do?
He litterally tells you about sticking to the codex the first time you meet him
keep up morale
How'd that little bitch become a chaplain
why they even considered making this a reveal instead of just having him be the character the whole time, i will never understand
thats what all chapmen do
Same as all the others
Ensure no corruption, keep morale
Its basically a cheap "wojakpoint" trope.
Act as therapists
like they dont even hang on his reveal
They're the commisars of the Space marines
I didn’t know they did that lmao
honestly it figures he would become a chaplain with how much he cares about the Codex Astartes. Novamarines would love to adopt him
it would have changed literally nothing to the story to have leandros just be revealed at the start
Also just to make sure, i didnt like the calgar bits. Imo lore wise, the last like 10mins of the game were the worst. Felt like some marvel shit.
That would be a lot better tbh
The presentation of Calgar was great until you remember hes Calgar.
What you wanna know about the setting?
They’re there for the spiritual and mental well being of the brothers of the chapter and to ensure they’re able to keep doing their duties
thats how id put it
makes us understand the chaplain's assholeness even more
I liked Nemeroth better as a villain tho
I was mostly awed be cause the VA almost had me convinced that was Mark Strong for Calgar
Even if he does jackshit
like if you dont like Ultras you'll just see Calgar and go "Huh cool hes here"
Imurah was peak cheese
Definitely a closet EC
guy coomed his pants as he died so good on him
i admit i pogged when he came in on the thundrrhawk
it was a cool reveal
YEAAAH CALGAAAR
The banner scene and the dreadnought scenes were the best parts
Imurah was so fucking fun
Tsons really are losers
I really thought it was Mark Strong
lmao
Mark Strong has such a unique voice tho
the entire end segment was what made my 6 out of 10 a 7
as a crimson fists fan that was a nice little homage with the Banner Stand
I was the opposite lol. I rolled my eyes.
same
they did a good job at keeping the crazy stuff for the end so we end the game with a good impression
I'd give half a point more but yes
Imurah’s fight went hard
Then end is fun
I loved it
Yeah that was wild
Imurah went full metal gear rising
what would've been out of left field jumping out of that ThunderHawk? Malum Caedo
bro legit thought he was doctor strange or some shit
the game peaks at the very start and the very end lol
At least we have boss fights in this game
this lmao
the entire "brother you are sus" plotline made me wanna kms
Was there any in sm1 besides grimskull?
I dunno why everyone bothers with magic when you can just use your I-frames to dodge it all and shoot them in the face
Kinda pathetic ngl
Gandalf take notes
I was mostly distracted by that from Gadriel's good looks
me on tabletop pressing C to counter the khornate charge
Also fuck the Neuro/Zoanthropes in the multiplayer holy shit
people going horny about Gadriel is great
lol
Shielding eachother like little bitches jfc
the implant kills it for me
Zoanthrope circle jerk
Brother I saw you vent
literally
Is so annoying
That’s cause you’re weak
most enemies i do a finisher on i do it for necessity of health and armor. But those flying bags? Oh its PERSONAL
Give me lore accurate zoanthrope that just
Kills me
Just get it over with
I hate it when one shows up
Neurothrope finisher is very satisfying
Just let it lift me up and make me explode
Shank it’s ass with its own talon
Neurothrope
I half expected this thing to show up in the game
Helbrute you can dodge much easier and it has a lot more “stunned” animations
I do appreciate that Melta bombs fucking destroy everything
Mhm
Its a space marine game, they only care about SMs and CSM, I thought youd be used to it, xenos dont get shit
SM2 feels like a halo2 situation. Where it was rushed but somehow came out pretty good. I just hope they dont pull a darktide and take 2 years to add a new enemy or some shit.
They can one shot every single extremis enemy even on ruthless
that's the play I did when dealing with the hive tyrant. lured him in and my team and i placed our melta bombs to wipe out its last bar of health
care about CSM?
Bro look at the pvp
💀
And they do like a fourth to a third health damage to most mini bosses
A fourth health to the Tyrant
I soy’d when I saw a venom cannon nid
Confessed that u like women
I mean thats kinda the case for the road map.
Most of the "new content" is DLC packs and cosmetics
Well I mean CSM actually gets some content, more than xenos
That’s not even really true?
I would like more proper boss fights like the Hive Tyrant
out of the current 6 missions, how many of them have chaos marines
Can you choose your side in pvp? I've been on chaos side for 100% of my games
But one of them is 50/50 between nids and csm
We never saw brother after that day
So it's a split
Can't even use my custom marines
I mean in wider lore, not just in sm2
now if only a tyranid Heirophant was in the game
Big split
I also like during the campaign that the multiplayer stuff is arguably the more interesting plot going on to help Titus
Requeue
It’s in a lobby system
How good or bad are hellbrutes
Once you’re on a side you’re on it
Annoying as shit
Like assassinating the Hive Tyrant
Also they teleport
I fucking hate roadmaps. Just hint at whats up next with a around date. Dont go planning the next 5 years.
it reminded me of the classic Cod special ops missions
Yeah
U telling me a big mutated penguin dude can teleport?
I wish they showed off the shadow in the warp's effects more, just in general
they can when they fucking use magic
I mean yeah the thousand sons do that
What's the deal with corvus corax
I don't hear much about him
We don’t know
He unlocked his psyker potential he’s somewhere in the eye
Any defend thing with health was hell already
the next big Nid baddie I want to punch? this Guy...
The tervigon?
because he's one of the lesser used primarchs
Dude, I need a siege type mission where we hunt down a bio titan
Just hitting it with tons of bullshit over the course of a 40 minute mission
Also the guardsmen not being literally useless like they were in the first game is nice
Yeah
They can actually kill shit
They do some work
They kill shit well
that was very nice, yes
As long as it ain’t warriors
I still barely saved any at all despite my best efforts but
they don't have the handicap of standing idle as much
When will SM2 let you fight a Norn Emissary
I feel like Titus gets cooked
when are we killing a queen
Lol
So I don’t know much about the tyranids
Yeah like nids have a lot of variety
i throw caution into the wind...cause y'know...my mother hen mode kicks in
Never
Are the warriors their comparative space marinesv
Norn queens are in the ships
Yeah
more or less
this requires a D2 level raid of absurdity, full 6 man team
yes
what if that's where they're heading at the end
On Tabletop though Tyranid Warriors deploy in squads of 3 or 6
But I'm also pretty sure there are like elite warriors that are comparable to a space marine right
we don't even have a visual art concept of what they look like, that's a long shot
Lol
The hive guard or whatever r
Obviously not Titus
(ignore me getting absolutely bodied by a swarm of 4 of them
yeah this wouldn't be fun fighting
Warriors are odd
They’re marine equivalents in someways
But they’re more like sgts. For gaunts
Lore wise
Yea for the Gaunts they act as a relay for the Hivemind
the nid mechanic reminds of Halo's classic approach with the Covenant squads. deal with the Splitjaw, and then the alien cones start scattering
just to piss off the players in lethal difficulty I want the hive tyrant to get this
The synaptic backlash effect is cool
just two of these guys
Erm, why don’t they marines always just kill the big tyranids and all the little ones die
Yeah thats my favorite part of the game tbh
Exactly
I wish there was something like that for the chaos dudes
it gives some breathing room
Synaptic backlash doesn’t always kill the little ones
but for the most part they just stop working together or with any sort of cohesion or goal
And they’ll like
Cause fuck fighting those guys
Still chew you to death
but they dont really use tactics
There is for sorcerers and cultists lol
But the cultists explode into the fucking pfojectiles
Yea it usually just causes the little ones to revert to being feral beasts
Which is really fucking funny
i just stopped shooting when i realized i could just smash into them.
The synaptic effect in game is like worst case scenario backlash in lore
the tactic for nids is to have some of your men hold off the waves of small ones, and have specialized units pick off any synapse units
It just fires the gaunts brains
as quick as possible
Blue is lucky lol
Neurogaunts
Nids somehow suffer the worst backlash ever
Neurogant nodebeasts
Cause we’re blue
Just killed the Neuroguant.
the huh?
Pain in the ass
It’s an extra crest and shit
Also, anyone else feel like some of the colour choices for legions/chapters are just really strange? Like i swear this is not the colour of iron warriors.
Neurothrope 🤓 akshully
anything that looks brainy, big or special, is priority target to kill as quick as possible
Also I no longer believe the hivemind is not malicious
whats it do?
It’s a synaptic point
ah its just an upgrade
That’s not a trap card
The heretic skins are really barebones
That’s a 1400 attack vanilla beat stick
Problem is there could be an obscene number of Neurogaunts spread out within a gaunt horde acting as relays
Cause I heard a story of one bio form hunting a great charismatic leader of a planet and leaving him alive instead of making him a matter to turn him into a babbling terrified shell of his former self
Yeah
That’s malicious as hell
Death leaper did that
Who's the raven primarch like the very pale dude
I misspelled it on purpose to see if someone would correct me, yes that is exactly what I did. I did not forget what the thing was called no sir it was all part of my plan
thats Death Leaper
Cadians don't sit at the top of my list for favorite guard regiments, they're vanilla. But I gotta give props for the speech delivery the VA did.
Which one? There's 2.
the most menacing and unique Tyranid Lictor
Im just praying that we get some chaos operations and those come with full chaos customization. But thats definitely not happening.
Corvus corax
Ngl
Ah so that's him
Konrad is psycho batman.
Corvus is emo poetry boi
Don’t worry, Conrad wouldn’t let you mix it up again
Corvus is the ravenguards primarch right?
I'd recommend reading the Martyrdom of Sister Ishani, it's about a Sororitas outpost being stalked by a Lictor
I'm so cooked
yes
He’s Konrad is literally just the worst
Conrad went out so badly tho
Lictors are actually terrifying
it's also spelled konrad because warhammer
He went out to prove a point
Blud said I know I'm gonna die and I accept it
that's a good one
Basically
Only problem is that he did everything in his power to make that happen.
Absolute joke
he also sucks
Yea
genuinely
I'd say he's one of the most hated primarch
he thought he'd do a socrates
To this day I won't know who Alpharius really was
Like: "Oh man, the punishment for treason is death I guess I gotta do a treason to prove I was right."
Cuz everyone is Alpharius in his legion
But like into a whole legion? No way
It doesn't have to be perfect
Who was that dude who tried to bring back fulbright?
fabius bile
If any legion would use cloned primarchs to do missions, it would be the Alpha legion
he also cloned horus
but all the clones had no souls
which in warhammer means weak af
I thought clonegrim had a soul?
Which would explain why Alpharius was so easy for Dorn to kill
Did the fulgrim clone survive?
That's my theory
its trazyns now
so kinda
its just a statue effectively
Didn't he exhibit old fulgrims qualities like slowly
what did Bile trade him for anyway?
Why did fulgrim go bad bro I don't get it still
As far as I know, clones have the memories of the original.
In the story where Alpharius died, he had memory issues.
he has a whole book about it named after him if you're interested
gene seed
Woke up in a box with no idea who he was.
Identity disorder badically
not my favorite HH book but it's an important one
picked up a cursed sword
bro didnt take it to an artificer first
Ergo: He was a clone.
Were there any nightlords that weren’t just sadistic monsters just for the fun of it?
Same thing with when Guilliman killed Alpharius. Clone.
Picked up a daemon sword and got possessed or something.
Ehhh. Maybe with Talos?
Fulgrims fall fucking sucks from a story telling perspective
Not really
That’s generally what they do
The nightlords trait in heresy
What about when rogal killed alpharius? Also clone?
Real one
Alpharius is dead
That’s why the hive mind made hive guard and other bigger forms to protect the synapse creatures
so how many Alpharius clones are there?
Incredibly fucking dead
That isn’t even confirmed as a true story in lore
UM have no record of the fight with omegon
in sm2 do they ever show the really horrifying nid weapons?
It’s most likely a fabrication
That's generally considered when the real Alpharius died. But I don't buy it.
The cadian screams are horrifying
If the author says it’s the real Alpharius
it's funny because fulgrim's personality barely changes after being corrupted
It’s the real fucking alpharius
he just seeks even more perfection
As many as the stories need, I suppose.
Alpharius being dead doesn’t even change anything
So is omega still alive then?
There aren’t any alpharius clones
Yes
The twin
He’s the living twin
The legion not reacting to his death is another reason why I don't buy it.
There’s legionaries pretending to be Alpharius
take a full deathspitter volley to the face on tier 3 and tell me if they are horrifying or not lol
Omegon reacts to it
And then he gives a shattered knife to Horus
I always thought alpha and omega legion lore was stupid ngl
It’s pretty obvious he’s saying the Legion is shattered after the death of Alpharius
Night lords were doing atrocities and terror shit because the emperor asked them to. (Some kind of let every one focus on them for being evil so the other evils of the imperium goes unnoticed). Then big E threw them under the bus without recognition for the sacrifice and the NL got salty. (All this according to a NL member)
The death of a primarch can be felt by the entire legion and has serious consequences. All we saw was Omegon being a little sad.
Alpha legion watches alpaharius death (reaction video)
lossing all my armor and half my health in a few seconds had me making this face
One of the twins is 100% dead
Sanguinius sees his soul in the Warp
We know Alpharius is dead
along with the other dead primarchs
The author literally says so
^
It’s not up for debate he got his fucking head sawed off
are they just chilling in the warp together
What does he know smh
He was probably paid of by alpharius
Idk
No I mean they are fairly strong lore wise, but I want to see the like really agonizing death, isnta kill almost anything stuff
Ah, then it was a very anti-climactic death for a primarch.
so there's 3 fully confirmed dead primarchs right
Going out in such a benign way
primarchs are anticlimactic in general
the book says that they are all setting up to watch the fight betwen Sanguinius and Horus, its a really funny image lol
Curze, alpharius, sanguinus, Ferrus, Horus
That whole story felt off to me.
i forgot horus and sang im dumb
yeah the "dead" ones im mentioning are also the daemon primarchs as well who got banished
they are literally sitting to see the fight
its so goofy
Fully as can't be ressurected or other shenanigans?
