and theyre going to eat you too
"Don't worry we're not the Blood Angels, we don't have the Red Thirst"
"Well that's good, what is the name of your Chapter?"
"We are the honourable Corpus Comedentis"
"Well I don't speak High Gothic, but that sounds great"
Also with SM2. Who at saber thought it was a good idea to have cosmetics and upgrades purchased with the same god damn currency!
You basically have to leave the customization till later. Ive been only buying customization stuff and im stuck on diff 2
It doesn't have the options of like premium currency or something
Its to make you probably grind/spend more time with the game.
genuinely one of the most abysmal customisaiton systems ive seen
Yeah it compensates for the fact that there's nothing to buy in terms of cosmetics I guess
At least things are rigged correctly so you dont have awkward clipping
Also my face when someone is just having fun with customizing and not making their marine lore accurate: They are lesser
at least its earnable currency
pro tip you get currency from doing the tutorial things
also 200 extra from the watching streamer thing
My marine would probably give you a seizure
It being earnable still doesn't mean its a slog to get.
but it's also extremely easy to earn the armours. it's just like 30 missions to get the maximum level
yeah but again almost even the most basic customisation options eat those points up

it basically doesnt mean much
i just bought iron hands and im happy
wheres your bionics
But then again, better it be earnable than a sleaze fest
Hows Crossplay work for it, you can do PVE but not PVP?

One thing I learned from dark tide is that I need to look poor to become powerful, good thing the items i can buy for customization with grindable money looks ass
just the arm eh?
yep
No leg?
not yet
Not even a mechanical peg leg?!
And now you have to deal with the fact that 50% of all cosmetics have ultramarine symbols on them lol
10
Tbf that wont mean much to those newcomers to 40k
Nice
They'll be like "Oooh cool"
Iron Hands suck
it's just funny that they put every ultra successor like the fucking libators
Somewhere in the warp i hear the whispers of eternal rage
All I know is that Iron Hands are just kinda massive technophile assholes
And apparently were toxic on the tabletop
That's been true of every faction at some point
Fair
Like people still complain about when the Tau were toxic on the tabletop after being added and that was like 20 years ago at this point
Im pretty sure that goes for literally anything human in 40k. We are the bad guys
I know but they're in particular technophile assholes
Iron Hands are funny
i just like iron hands for HH lore and tanks
Oh yea and it's funny because a lot of the time it happens it's not even thought of as a direct change to the Iron Hands before being imlemented, it's just a change to how a universal rule works or how Space Marines in general work. But then by happenstance it somehow makes Iron Hands OP
What chapters have no side affects along with their gene seed? Is it just ironhands, darkangels and ultramarines?
Chapter master "Smashfucker" no I don't know why he's called that
the unkillable double volkite dreadnought
the unkillable dreadnought 2 redemptor boogaloo
Ironstorm tank hell
Uh Iron Fists is one
IMPERIAL FISTS fuck
literally just "cant spit"
tbh what Iron Hands "want" is like
just good lol
They have some, Iron Hands have some stuff too kinda
Oh, yeah. Forgot about them
its the same case as Eldar, their fluff + general gameplan leans into whats good in a wargame environment
Dark Angels and Ultramarines are the two main chapters with no issues
no gimmick
instead they are cursed with other stuff
like bad writing

TRANSFORMERS RISE OF THE FALLEN
blood angels and space wolves get the super gimmicks
BA get two gimmicks
I dunno, I'd say the Dark Angel Genessed probably makes them overly paranoid
they put something in the fortress monastery's water
laxatives
BAsed
it's why they keep shitting on everybody else
So this is for gameplay mechanics partially but it’s a good idea of the “considered” stability of each loyalist geneseed
Which are most and which are least and in between
Poor Sallies
Why are the Salamanders so unstable jesus
because they are bla-
💀
tbf salamanders flaw is just melanin
They have huge issues with making new chapters
And in general rate of marine success
Because they are a bunch of NI-

Hey now
They were always a small legion and yeah
we got a black templar in the chat

there's a photo mode??
This looks like a statue trying to imitate what it's like to have human emotions
What I see when I open the Ring doorbell at 3am
Considering space marines, honestly probably on the right path of logic here
him and Lchaplain
god this chaplain is annoying
I wonder why
Heh
Hah

🤨
Who going to tell him
He may be annoying but dude is dripped the fuck out
They dont know guys.
dont
Let them bask in ignorance.
Anyway Im not gay, but Titus if he werent a space marine is a pretty handsome lad
Trench coat and hood with power armor, gotta be my favorite gender.
my day is ruined
Lmfao i joke
All his squad are ironically
Gadriel is GYATT
Oh and white scars. Dont think they have any "mutations" by default
He could star in the next Magic Mike movie
We are on that races hours that
Fucking Gabriel with his runway model hair, always hitting the blue steel.
although im glad they realised further into 40k not everyone on Chogoris is a mongol
lol
looks cool tho so w/e
After watching the tithes ep 2 i only realized one thing white templars
they are white?
yes but because they are the white version of the templars they have an oath to defend their worlds
💀

evil black templar
Chaplain, execute him
Multimelta is super dope, especially as you upgrade its range
Holy fuck does it clear hallways
I still cant believe
one of the complaints IS that melee is basically borderline useless right
ive noticed that tooe
he even says no to a commendation
I’ll take it for now, they’ll add more later
just melta them
better be prepared to wait like 5 years like me
It’s an obvious and easy thing to add even for non IH
People like augmetics
Yeah but most augmetics primaris get is always an arm
so i dont see them rushing to meet the demand
Is Melee straight up as people said practically useless most of the time
Uhh depends
No
its mostly useless
i kinda dont like the fact that i have to switch my class if somebody else has it
or a death sentence
Not at all
It’s good if you don’t suck
the parry is super inconsistent
Translating what he said; basically glue your eyes to the screen and every 50 enemy around you to see if they are about to attack
otherwise yeha good luck lol
whoever removed not getting HP from executions is also braindead
literally the most necessary future that made the first game graet lmao
But you get armor!
yeah even the range heavy classes needing to execute
2s is generous
not a good one
parrys at least make you invincible during the animation so your teamates can clear the enemies on you during it
YOU SAID IT NOT ME
No it doesnt
LMAO
if you are executing as someone about ot attack you
you get slammed
it happened to me like 5 times
its fucking obnoxious
oh
I might just be super unlucky, i always do it in swarms too because its enticing
Executions you’re invincible into any attack what
in that case it sa bug
i was not imagining it
i literally lose health as im killing someone as they swipe at me
💀
You parry 1 attack but meanwhile you're getting mogged by the 30 other enemies surrounding you
at least team damage isnt present
weird that we cant choose coop difficulty tho
it's kinda too easy
Idk, but that’s what I’ve always always seen, I’ve used it to avoid damage a lot
And shooters are a pain
Its a very bad system.
100% accuracy and high damage and we barely have ways to close gaps
Largely you’re supposed to be dodging more or using AoE attacks to stun the group
shooters are very annoying yeah
I don't mind big groups. Shooters are my bane
Also it works much better when you have three people being real.
Shooters are abysmal
And the fucking shooting gaunts can go out of bounds of you get close
i like the sniper big nids. they're simple to dodge
Why
Dont forget warriors that call for reinforcements behind a wall
thats always fun

god
like all these complaints would be fine
if you could heal from executions
im never gonna not rant about it
such a fucking dumb change
Yeah its fun i agree
its just sometimes "RAARGHHHH"
or turns into PvE dark souls as you dodge an entire arena of bosses as your team is dead + crouch-rolling
Yea, game is fun by it sucks to have to grind the checkpoints because you just lack health eventually
^
Gotta die to refill the bar
health stims are only useful for removing mortal wounds lol
I'm not that far though so i'm anticipating the chaos enemies
so you can get downed more
I liked them in SM1
same
I will try the pvp tonight
They’re different, some ways easier some ways harder
Btw, stims restore health that you have recently lost +. So imagine you get hit by a horde and lose all your health. Stim and you get it all back as opposed to waiting before stimming.
Again, its such a terrible system.
the bulwark standing in the middle of the horde face tanking the carnifex hoping that his team can kill it
https://media.tenor.com/G-ImeupyxmIAAAAM/eating-the-chip-chips.gif
High difficulties are also basically impossible
its not even fun after awhile
you dont even feel like a space marine at all
lol
well i guess its more lore accurate at least
I'm already commited to AoD and i'll be ashamed if I drop difficulty
the crux terminator pre order thing made me realize i should have given my terminators more details instead of just painting it gold
Again; Titus is weaker than any of the operation classes
I wonder how all the "It's supposed to be power fantasy" Helldiver bros are doing now that SM2 is out and they're being eaten alive by rats
I dunno I’ve been doing fine. There’s a few things I’d like them to improve but largely it works good at the highest difficulty especially for multiplayer it’s just hard, requires teamwork.
I cant speak on that. Considering where all my currency has gone.
You definitely want to be max level with upgraded weapons for the highest difficulty
And we have a higher one coming out later this year
(yes i preordered just to get the cool stuff but didnt play the game till i knew they didnt pull a fast one. That being said i am part of the problem and have nullified all of my complaints by buying into the preorder scheme)
how do you even change coop difficulty
alright thx
Do higher difficulties give more rewards or is it just bragging rights?
More
More exp, currency, and you need the armory data for the best weapon upgrades
Which are a significant improvement
You get armory data from mini bosses or little servo skulls you find around the map.
I wish you could keep the ||death watch|| armor
I wonder if the Imperium of Man will be divided just like the Roman Empire because of Great Rift (Cicatrix Maledictum), or will it continue be united?
With the Great Rift, is connection possible or nobody knows what's going on in the other side?
Let John space die on his chair
its somewhat divied. Nihlus is a fucking shithole
Let the imperium fall into sector states
its possible, its just incredibly difficult
Space marines making their own sectors of space
Guard generals becoming warlords
That would be really cool to see
Rogue traders would still probably continue doing their own thing
Would probably become more powerful
They'd probably become relied upon for their trade routes even more
sounds like a good time to jump up prices
Oh yeah they'd have to
do lictors kiss well
I hope so
With tongue
Their warrant of trade would become invalid so they just start showing off that they also have a big ass navy
aside from the obligatory red eyes and coal-black skin, I thought they sometimes have bone spikes. Or was that someone's homebrew salamanders successor?
Completely different chapter that's the black dragons
just came back from trying to kiss a lictor and i now have no jaw
And like dilara said they're basically tarkatans from mortal kombat
They grow bone protrusions from their body and they can even shoot their arm blades
As to why they have developed these flaws
Cursed founding
That era where every single space marine chapter seems to have developed a problem for funzies
long rumored to be a sallie successor. Storm Giants seems to be a confirmed sallies successor, as a side note.
A U.S. navy chief who wanted the internet so she and other enlisted officers could scroll social media, check sports scores and watch movies while deployed had an unauthorized Starlink satellite dish installed on a warship and lied to her commanding officer to keep it secret, according to investigators.
We did it
We invented real life tech heresy
are rubric marines demons
Not the rank and file. They are literally souls and dust sealed in armour.
so if they die they die for good?
no
Rubric marines can be rebound to armor
All of them are basically borderline just robots now right
Emotionless dust that move shells they use as bodies
yeah
You know that is a good question.
I will need to dig a bit into the lore now...
Theoretically yes, practically no
Thousand sons geneseed is rare
wait they still need the geneseed?
i thought they were just souls
im guessing they only do it for powerful psykers to get more leader rubrics
well the leaders aren't rubrics
The leader are still flesh and bone
yeah rubric marines specfically refer to the guys who got turned to dust
It used to be non-psykers, but lore got updated so basically anyone unlucky enough when Rubric of Ahriman was used
I supposed new TSons will necessarily be flesh and bone
For example the scarab occult terminators
were mostly like
weaker psykers
so they got turned to dust as well
Ah I see
more then likely there was some odd redistributing of like "the soul" so to speak
since all the left over psykers got a lot stronger
after the Rubric
But yea to get actual new Rubric Marines specifically would require sorcery equivalent to the Rubric of Ahriman, which...well.
Good luck unless you are Ahriman himself.
Lol
TLDR both Magnus and Ahriman must also despise whoever you want to inflict such a fate upon.
dude
pretty hidden sick burn
so a big thousand sons guy shows up
says something about revenge for magnus
titus responds with "words as hollow as your fallen brothers"
most out of pocket shit is Archean saying he'll give the Thousand sons flashbacks to prospero lol
i know one of you is going to erm me
but isn't it funny how in lore thunderhawks are units of invincible destruction
but in games and the animations they get shot down easily
i was streaming the game to somebody who doesnt know 40k and i had to explain to them that the big blue ship costs over a grand on tabletop
We are angels of death getting mogged by termagaunts born in pools litterally yesterday
That terminator armor won't protect you from basic claws
is it just me or is this baneblade way smaller than it's supposed to be
this thing is supposed to be massive
The good ole comparison image
that's the model
You're the model
I imagine partly is that you're playing a bigger character
Also in the comparison image the Baneblade is bigger
baneblades are so big that some big militarum guys make a whole office for them inside one
in lore at least
im guessing devs just went with tabletop size
like it's big
First picture made it look like Titus was almost as tall as the turret
he's on steps
But yea, his head being just below the Sponson is Tabletop scale
it still looks stunty
it's barely bigger than a leman russ
commissars doing their thing
beautiful
I guess the baneblade looking like that also helped it to feel more ergonomic rather than being super big fucking tank in a raw sense
@crystal forum but most beautiful of all was that animated Deathwatch Corvus in flight…
That thing was sexy, to see it beyond the artwork
And in a video game chef’s kiss
ye was great
But yeah it’s also nice to see Imperial Vehicles in game to see the scale of it. I mean we play as a space marine at best we’re nearly on head level, but it’s cool if you can view it in a guardsman’s perspective
speaking of Guardsmen I appreciate the variety of appearances each individual had, not just the matching blanks
If nothing else this game does confirm Primaris Marines are…even larger.
Takes me Back to the Halo Trilogy days with the marines, good times
Also I like how ||Blackshield Titus|| (minor spoilers but still) is an actual highly accurate recreation of the tabletop miniature.
there was a mini of that?
im just surprised they depict mark 8 armour
which is super rare to see
shame we cant equip it
Man, now I want to see a Blackshield Titus as a cosmetic option
Thought that was a spider on his crotch
Tonk
chimera lol
On the grind
can i just say how based it is that it turns its turret backwards to ram the wall
to not damage the gun
Though that was good attention to detail
this whole mission is trailerbait but it's great
I spent my time longer than I should have on the campaign, but I was so drawn by the level environment and what happens in the background
At least the gameplay and the trailer match
i wonder if i wait long enough the guardsmen will die
Literally any scene of the Guardsmen fending against Nids had me praising them like a high school Cheerleader
Imagine getting a Tempestus Scions game with this sort of detail…
nvm eventually they kill all the nids
Actually giving Guard the respect they deserve. Nice.
Yeah, not getting plowed easily
devs put a lot of time into the swarm stuff and it shows lol
it looks great
seeing all those nids coming for you
I do hope that we face more Nid variants down SM2’s journey, adding more
Okay finished the game
Yeah the ending makes this game a solid 7/10
i had fun but not sure id go through that again, my ears and eyes hurt lmao
Is the sound mixing that bad?
No no its not the sound mixing
its just theres so many audio things going on
portals, explosions, gunfire, special attack cues, voicelines, etc etc
no wonder some peoples' computers cant handle this game lmao
Hoo
my audio cut out in some parts, and the cutscenes sharted themselves briefly
but it was nice
I gave it 8/10. My only issues were that I got stuck in loading screens, and the regaining health aspect
I was slightly confused
Parry was just a skill issue for me
I can get better
going to keep playing for the replayable mission grind or pvp?
Health regain mechanics gives me conniptions
I’ve been subjected to too much brain rot by society. That I had “Like a Prayer” going through my head at the end
Loading into this game takes like 20m
It wouldve been sustainable if executions give health and armor
Damn I can't wait for the 9th
Shame that afaik standard edition can't preload
Honestly ill grind a bit then stop, the game doesn't have much to really offer me personally. The customisation sucking is mostly to do with it.
Am i tripping? Why would a space marine not understand the sister? I thought that the sisters of silence are like a fairly well known thing to high ranks of the imperium. Like the astartes. Unless im missing something, a space marines not knowing the language of the sisters of silence seems a bit strange.
...because sign language is not something marines are taught?
Honestly they should add ogres into SM2
LOL
That would make it a 10/10
Also people barely know space marines exist most of the time in 40k, and SoS were so obscure post 30k most people actually forgot they existed in-universe
I played yesterday and i couldnt even join anyone, only today was i able to do that
What? Arnt space marines basically taught in everything?
No???
why would they be
they are meat-tanks, not philosophers
they are taught a lot of stuff
This has been a pretty good experience for me so far. I never got the time to play the first SM1(but I followed it), so I’ll be looking forward to SM2’s journey down the line
It goes from chapter to chapter
not all o them are taught this stuff
also the thought-mark language of SoS is between them, it isnt some universal sign language thing the Imperium teaches its citizens.
Would they not be taught at least a couple different languages in cases of different dialects between planets or solar systems?
sign language is definitely one of those things that wouldn't help them much lol
Yeah but like again depends on the Chapter
why would they know sign language the SoS use
has anybody identified what regional sign language she uses?
Marines don’t know thought mark
British
makes sense
Do sisters of silence outrank marines?
She actually signed “I asked for no pickles”
Thought mark is in universe kind of esoteric and weird
They’re part of the talons of the emperor so yesnt
Generally but not as much as a Custodian
I don’t imagine they would be giving many orders lol
Yeah not that much
SoS are sidekicks to Custodians mostly
the operations they do themselves are varied
🖕 universal thoughtmark
Do custodians respect the sisters of silence? Or just see them as tools
They respect them
Like a good cop bad cop. But the 40k version is Diplomatic Cop and Creepy As Hell Cop
Yeah again they are Talons of the Emperor
they've been fighting together since 30k
the lore just forgot SoS exist lol
and they put this into the actual narrative

Again. This is not me being upset about the Change to Custodians, I’m indifferent. But C’mon GW, give the SOS some love for once
Very 80’s of them to forget women exist
yeah SoS were virtually forgotten by the writers after the HH
the fact that they wrote it into the lore is hilarious
and still makes no sense
"oh they are blanks so nobody liked them and spoke out for them"
????
this thing is like a 1:1 macro cannon from that one terrain model
its based on the model yes
looks dope
Yeah pretty much.
Arnt space marine literally super humans in education as well? They essentially have a flawless memory. I always thought that a space marine would study in their offtime. Not knowing something as simple as a imperial sign language is just unbelievable. Unless that sign language is secret. But then why would the sister even try to speak to him in the first place?
No horribly gene cocktail like the marines
Thoughtmark isn’t secret
It’s just only used by the talons and people working with the sisters of silence
It’s not standard imperial sign language
Or the marine one
Speaking of customization on this. I accidentally bought the nightlords colors thinking that was as close as I was going to get to make a crimson fists. But than I did more scrolling and realized there was “Kantor Blue”
I think the funniest thing ever about the sisters of silence
Is they had one so incredibly strong blank she couldn’t really be perceived
And she was just accidentally killed by kharn
Idk, i just always thought that marines would know something like that. Especially a veteran. I could understand a scout or battlebrother
Not really. Marines again are just blunt super soldiers and it changes from chapter to chapter, not all of them in majority are taught these things and are only tutored to stuff that actually matters to them. They aren't also Einstein level of intellect, they are brainwashed to be zealots to some extent and just be fascists ontop of that, even exemplar Chapters like the Ultramarines.
And its not "imperial sign language", its a special language called Thoughtmark the SoS have been using since the ywere founded, and again why would anyone in the Imperium know sign language? If the person cant speak or is deaf etc they'd just toss em around and not give a damn. The SoS probably just spoke expecting the marine to have some understanding of what shes saying before realising they are too dull-witted to really bother with it.
Again, Marines are not intellectual superiors to most people, 90% of the time you simply point them somewhere they go "oorah" and go destroy it.
Your iron hands marine would probably be amazing with tech but they don’t study poetry
Yeah they are genetically modified meat-tanks.
Not many chapters engage in art
you are giving them way too much credit
That’s for the nerds
lol
its people like Custodians who are actual gigachads intellect wise, down to even saying shit like the Primarchs are a shit idea
They were right
that suggestion alone raises them above most people in the setting
Tbh some chapters do, like
Do art shit
Salamanders, Blood angels and their sucessors
Emperor should have just made only grey knight smh
yeah but art doesnt really translate to understanding Thoughtmark
Yeah
like
You mean a bunch poorly power scaled nutjobs?
How is this different than the primarchs?
hehe, taint
I only remember primarchs always touting about they themselve having perfect memory, not space marines.
This too yeah
Grey knights being summoned instead of demons is really funny
Marines are about as smart as its required of them. Which doesn't go beyond knowing how to mow down enemies.
seeing a hamerfall bunker depicted is not something i expected
starcraft ahh model
Imagine trying to summon a pink horror and drago shows up lmao
it's like they had a diversity quota but specifically for GW models
im making joke
Battle Brother Genericus of the sons of gman isn’t going to like read about “the culture of imperial blanks” they’re going to read about “steps to efficiently kill a Tau gun line”
And for SoS, I thought they assisted with operations on Black Ship fleets, or is that a rare occurrence?
What’s your guys’ thoughts on Titus’ new buddies?
It’s rare, but they do
They’re neat, they exist
They’re marines
^
They are about as blank as they come
Gadriel especially
BRO SORRY I QUESTIONED YOU BRO
Gadriel is battle brother genericus
^
Not that he’s bad
Tight ass
I also hate Titus for just
not telling them the situation
I thought he was going to be another Leandros to be fair
is such a fucking dumb trope
just there to create drama
that doesnt matter
because we know they'll reconcile
Yeeep
lol
You stole his command of his squad
Hes gay
reoccuring 40k issue
And day 1 one of his buddies die under your command
He feels overshadowed
And that Titus isn’t doing a good job
Not Titus going
Nuh uh
You don’t get to know
When I heard Calgar talk I nearly lost my **** until I read the credits for Voice acting. Also RIP Totalbiscuit
Erm, the codex astartes doesn’t permit this course of action
When did total biscuit pass?
He literally came up with the idea to ram a battle barge
Thought that was years ago
Yeah he died awhile ago
So leave
Kill him
but man can this game release already i wanna talk about spoilers
I just thought it was nice of them to remember TB
two more days 🙏
Yeah the campaign is pretty fun so dont worry
I gave in and bought in early
operations i can tell with get boring fast
I’m so weak
Dude I wish there were more operations missions
Only 6? Dawg I’m crying
I’m never playing the PvP either
I’ll be spending more time on that a lot
🤝
All my friends bought it on the PS5, so I won't even be able to play PVP with them
Its weird how the game thats about shooting hordes and emphasis on PVE has lower content potential than its tacked on PVP
Raises my blood pressure
I may take a swing on the PVP, but I might get curbstomped like I would in Destiny’s Crucible. AKA the embodiment of Pain
I think its because the setpieces are good on paper but just not interesting
Apparently the pvp is fun
the spectacle is great dont get me wrong
Lol
I think the last PvP game I actually enjoyed
but bombing the nids by using a prometheum field gets boring after awhile
idk how darktide manages it
Was the last of us multiplayer
i guess its Kyd lol
Its kyd plus alot of build potential
Kyd?
Okay true.
Damn he's the Sundance Kyd....
the fact that its using the launch darktide skilltree too
it gave me secondhand PTSD
LMAO
the complete variety of... two trees

Dude I need more exp from these operations
Id say play on higher diffs
But yeah the weapon variety plus class variety helps
Higher difficulties
Too hard
yeah this is my issue
You need more Xp but the higher difficulties are impossible to play.
Or you play low level but barely get any points.
Speaking of damn heavy is fun
who the fuck balanced this
the lack of defensive options suck but the big gun is SEX
You need friends for higher difficulty, which could be hard depending on how into your friend group is with Warhammer
Dude my heavy bolter was TEARING
And how willing they are to fork up 80 bucks
My issue are my teammates when it’s time for us to move on there’s at least one guy who’d stay behind to kill more nids. I’m like “Bro there’s more to come let’s go!”
Yeah the last difficulty you really need good teammates more than exp and stuff although those help a ton
I did some looking around and i came to the conclusion that i think a space marine not being taught to communicate to sisters of silence is dumb. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.
I need to dodge more
Its not dumb.
Ive done the final tier with low level characters you just need good teammates who work together
You can get your stomp to be absolutely crazy it's pretty fun
Again stop overthinking it.
How many difficulties are there
I keep on using the parry on the non parry regular attacks
Yeah that shit is PEAK.
That still block
I'm seeing a lot of similarities from Darktide in SM2
Four rn
is that good or bad
Five soonish
And they are adding another one that is even more ball crushing
yeah the next difficulty is seasonal content
Not a complaint, just something I noticed
If the the max difficulty seems to be already brutal i can't imagine lethal
the horde mode will be the game's premiere grind friendly funtime mode, I assume
||Magnus shard raid boss lmao ||
Should be wild but with maxed out characters and gear idk if it’ll be toooo bad
It hints at 40k games becoming more formulaic.
Give us a 6 man team fighting it
Give us more nids to fight! Give me a Haruspex, Exocrine, or even a Tervigon! That’s a big mama
Best I can do is "New Enemy"
Rn people don’t know how to play higher level stuff and work together and I still manage to get tier 3-4 done
Honestly bro
PvPvE mode?
Not even close to maxed out
Need a mission where all we are doing is chasing down a bio titan
Daemon Prince Skull ripper as a raid boss
Horde mode is what I’m most looking forward to down the line
Million cuts to it
“Alright alright alright, let’s see what we got!”
And finally bring it down
Getting PTSD even reading that aughhh
Hue hue
“Ding ding ding ding ding”
so how does the story mode work, thats where you play as titus and the rest? and where do you play as the other classes (prolly a dumb question sry lol)
Uh basically
Start on barge
Go to bridge or another location to talk to a scripted sequence
I get kicked a lot
It kinda reminds me of Special Ops from old COD when doing operations
Join game as bulwark
space marine players moment
Fun fact drifter wears his robe the way a corpse wears a robe
I was about to ask how toxic the players are but
I guess my answers get easily answered sometimes
They don’t say anything mean
There’s really bad connection issues rn for some people
Mostly I’ve had no issues tbh
Iirc
That’s just kinda rude as it gets
You know it's toxic, it's a 40k game at launch lol
20m to open the game is cancer
I’ve only gotten kicked once when I had my sniper class selected
nah i was talking about like, you have classes. but then theres titus and his 2 buddies, so who do you play as
You need internet connection for it right
So you can't even play the campaign offline
Titus, Gadriel and the black dude whos name i forgot
You can
Chairon
Or as Jay calls him Sharon
Yeah i was about to say
😁
Some people seem a bit stupid on the reviews on steam
Well
the host plays as Titus
It is steam reviews
the 2nd player plays as Galadrielle
Second player plays the Vogue dude
and the 3rd as Chairon
I set disappointing expectations to be even more disappointed because disappointed fuels my hatred for humanity
Third plays the guy whose 1/5 not weak
Especially if they do that stupid check box review style, they should all be shot who do that
Eh they’ve been drowned out mostly now
Idk why some players are already having the hots for Gadriel, like can you curve your enthusiasm for a bit?
People tried to flood it with bad reviews
But then people started playing the game lol
I mean hes pretty handsome
it mostly goes for people who say Marines cant be attractive lol
Because he looks like a model
right, so if im titus i can make him a heavy? or does he have a preset class
Nah
Internet having no standards as usual
you basically play as a tactical marine
you pick up any weapon you can find from stashes
He looks good, I just wish people stop thirsting so much they got Slaanesh on the hotline
They all do, Charon is the tactical one
the ultrawide users blowing a gasket when the ultrawide update is coming out this month is so funny to me
The model dude has a big flame burst thing
Titus' ability is like the most useful one
the others are mostly lame
and useless
now were getting somewhere, so WHEN can i play as the other classes. which game mode is that
Dilara have you tried getting gud?
Operations
okay
ultrawide users try to not be obnoxious entitled morons challenge (impossible)
have you tried not riding the meat
I have my own unique Ultimate too!it’s called Crippling Debt after purchasing Gold Edition advanced access. Pro: I get early access
Because it’s good and their abilities are good smh, Titus main downside is it’s long CD
The other two you can spam
Chat, laugh at this fellow

cricket noises
God dammit i just had to see it
Yee yee ass haircut
I! Am! An Astartes!!
the most normal haircut in existence
Is it too much for me to ask to have him be a face option?
Uh huh
If only
He is bald which makes sense
that actor legit has the most square face in existence
p unique haircut for an ultramarine no ?
Truly
You could cut diamonds with it
or having that Fury sidecut
Titus has the “I guess I’ll keep my hair idk idc” cut
or viking hair
Every marine should have a garviel loken ahh haircut
Thoughts on your marines being characters and not your own made dudes?
thats the one
really cool style but overdone to shit
its up there with Killmonger
I’d like to be able to customize their looks but
Overall I’m using a helmet so idc
Markus kruber used to have it
Very lame decision overall.
I was too distracted by his scars than I was by his hair
yeah his scar is gnarly
the patch of skin the wires go under being more red is a great detail
lmao
I do kinda wish we were more generic, leaves room for creativity
I definitely think you should be able to customize their faces though
I mean we are generic
have you heard the banter lol
Decimus is like the only good one
"YOU SHOULD BE A CHAPLAIN BROTHER"
The heavy is amazing smh
That’s a bonus for being a Primaris Vanguard fan. Love ma Reivers
speaking of holy shit we need Chapman/Apoth class stat
this game needs a fucking support class
💀
and just like most games it will be the most thankless job ever
but thats lore-accurate
Apothecary would be very helpful so I don’t get marked for Drug abuse when I need health
They’ve basically confirmed an apothecary is coming
Me on a geneseed collecting run as an Apothecary because the host picked Ruthless difficulty and everyone keeps dying to Mortal Wounds.
I can probably slice peanut butter and put it on top of vanilla ice cream and give it more personality by throwing spices at it, at least it's not as bad as dawn of war space marine 2 vanilla man

not wrong
but yeah like
among the 6
only 2 of the VAs are great
and yes Heavy is one
the others legit mix into each other i cant even tell them apart
I wish
Well then time to wait for a year until the game gets lower prices
Decimus really is cool when playing OPS. First time meeting him in story: “ohoho I like you”
I reopened SM1 today played a little and remembered why I didn't 100% the game's acheivos last decade. SM2 seems more or less the same game with new graphics.
So my question is does the coop mission stuff add much depth? Only considering buying at launch instead of a sale is due to doing coop w/ friends. Is there much synergy etc when playing w/ others? Aside from the host of combat tweaks that y'all have noted.
Just scrolled past the support class mentions, and ya that's the kind of synergy I was thinking of lol
me on the verge of dying and sees red highlight “BRING ME THAT ASS!”
also again great spectacle
that drill has to go somewhere

My friends seem eager to play pvp
I guess he has very lame tastes.
This just means I'll finally get to lore dump about heretics
They’re probably gonna have an apothecary soon
Also need an Emperors Children MP class
I was gonna play a white scars assault
I'm going to wait for this game to cook a little bit then wait for the opportunity to get it
But man iron warrior heavy goes hard
yeah the Apothecary does not surprise me, i almost assume it might have been a launch class that got thrown off.
The gameplay itself very much makes it feel like there needs to be a support class.
What am I looking at eternal?
It’s a shame my friend group aren’t into 40k, so that leaves me to enjoy the game on my own. Or I check and see the SM2 discord server
🤝 BROTHER
Sabre forums
I might play sniper or bulwark idk yet
They better add termies
I doubt it but maybe
^
I do find it funny we have Tartaros termies but not Indomitus
Termies doing Dark Souls rolls would be peak meme.
If I see some MF call they Tyranids “Terminids” it’ll be too soon
Bulwark will probably require you to learn melee interactions a lot more and you are going to be in the middle of the swarm face tanking for your team
They better
Termies I could see showing up in added campaign missions though
Like the dreadnought sequence
So unless you can commit to that do not pick it
That guy never fails to make me laugh in the story
It makes sense to be fair.
Its literally the Thousand Sons model range.
and they are semi-fodder elite enemies
Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 Dreadnought Vs Thousand Sons Battle Scene

Such a good sequence
“I wonder how he’s gonna fight the Heldr-“ YEET
He took a page out of the Ogryns from Darktide with that Heldrake
Rock
It did work
this guy was a great cleanser after that one awful other dreadnaught VA in the operations mission
But will they add regular a Apothecary or an Apothecary Biologis?
That whole dw3 termie summersalt drama was weird to me
Its tartaros
Ah the good old technique of bash them with your gun and then shoot it close range
@rocky gale
LEAD ME TO THE SLAUGHTER
I mean its stupid as hell so I get it.
he goes like 10ft in the air
It’s just kind of cursed lol, he does multiple spins
It’s funny because I thought we would have to fight that Heldrake before facing Imurah the Nerd. But no, old Redemptor Dreadnought saved me the trouble
If it as just a
It’s in a operation mission
A lot of the stuff you do in the PvE stuff
Bro literally does Melee Jayce Q
They didn't even bothering with like giving him like super jets or something just like
Like sending the battle barge on a collision course
Here we go
Same fucking spin
Oh Ik that, I just meant in the main storyline
Same goddamn electric effect
The one thing I hated about the DoW 3 discourse was that people were complaining about the color palette was too bright and colorful when space marines are just colorful
Yeah visually speaking i will admit it's f****** clean it's good but gameplaywise
Thats why I like his robot skin, feel like a space marine
I would rather jump off a cliff
The Tartaros Rubrics flying at you at Mach 5 did surprise me though
Space marine Darius
Yeah gameplay I get
Lul
They literally made it bare bones
I guess it makes sense they are Tartaros but damn
But goood people were so dumb about the color palette
Yeah like visually speaking i'm surprised people don't even like it much
Death to the corpse emperor
I get the game is trash but like you have to admit
