not necessarily, they dont got much media portrayals (DT by a country mile is the deepest portrayal ogryns basically had in the franchise), and the protrayals they do have tended to really really really heavily lean into the unintelligence to outlandish degrees (like cant count to 2, cant figure out how to open a door, drowns looking up at rain)

Also the point of the character is that he’s been brought up his whole life living in the military to obey without question and that is his purpose, despite being treated poorly and sent on suicide missions repeatedly only to come back against all odds, and still thinking nothing of it, but over time, with his time in the party away from the regiment, he’ll slowly realize how the universe isn’t as simple as right and wrong, and that just because you follow orders, that doesn’t make you the good guy
