IDF moment
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Real
I plead the fifth
Once again I ask every single warden besides Dils to just ignore us
If I suddenly go quiet it's because the Mossad got to me because of that joke
fuck it who is the warhammer character that has the closest mustache to hitler
LMAO STOP
Erebuses dad
đ„±Warhammer the Horus heresy đ„±
Yes I also dislike popular thing
Less popular other thing is much cooler and better, frfr.

"This luger will send a Christian to hell." - The Emperor of mankind
worst part is that is accurate

yee
Yk what makes me think
A Lasgun never jams
but in the hammer and bolter animated show, it did
Well yeah its a gun
think about that
if its inner functions get fucked it wont work
They can jam itâs just not common
^
Theyâre notoriously reliable
they are basically 40k's AK-47
But that doesnât mean unjammable
So your saying GW lied to me?
Thereâs even rules in the RPG for if you roll bad enough to jam, you roll a 1d10, and only on a 10 does it actually jam
that's crazy
Crazy cuz that's nerd stuff
This chat is deader than dead
so I'll ask this
Even morty had the look to get people to follow him, what are ya'll thoughts?
He kinda saved them so idk
Primarchs are good at being charismatic when they wanna be
People look for different leadership qualities in people
If you think thats strange you should look at most leaders/dictators around the world.
People will follow a leader type person for almost any reason
anyone would follow someone who's like 8 meters tall
and giga jacked
rules of nature
This 12 foot tall giant shows up, says he wants to kill the evil sorcerer overlords who kill, rape, and torture your people, and he can actually do it
And youâre surprised why he was able to win people over?
Heâs notable for still having a functional legion after the heresy, he basically has the eternal loyalty of the Barabans, and that translates into the newer recruits often too
so scythes are the icon of death right
who thought it was a good idea to make the nurgle guy the reaper incarnate
i thought nurgle was all about shitty life and all that
Nurgle is life and death
Would be cool if you got some bitches
getting one tonight
not sure about you
how many actual gods are there in aos
like just chaos gods?
At least 5
or like gods
what's the difference
nothing minus them sometimes taking active part in battles sometimes
Khorne once smashed a sorceror city out of the sky because he thought they were cowards
lmao
so those golden guys arent demons
who?
Oh lol
are they equivalent to chaos champions in 40k
No
stormcasts got their own units/ranks/champions
just like any army
Instead of (mostly) cutting you apart like chaos warriors though
they instead smash your brains in with hammers
big difference i know
that's pretty based
yeah half their weaponry is blunt weapons because sigmar/warhammer
they dont acknowledge this much but its pretty brutal lmao
But for Chaos Gods: The Big 4, Hashut, The Great Horned Rat, Necoho, The Great Gatherer, Devourer of Existence, Ever-Raging Flame
these ones are the confirmed ones to exist
the last 3 just have titles because the warcry warbands are too stupid to know more are worshipping minor chaos gods
god damn 40k chaos is boring compared to this
Necoho could honestly be removed from the list
bro is mentioned in like a single story in AoS
is malal a thing in aos
Malice prolly exists
maybe?
Malal doesn't exist
Oh also Vashtor
exists in AoS lol
Rare case of a fantasy universe not being lame as fuck and every dork using a sword
đ
BY THE HAMMER AND THE EMPIRE
Jokes aside for 40k chaos gods we have
The Big 4, Vashtor(sorta), The Raptor God(whatever the fuck it is), and the rest of the Atheric domain stuff from horus heresy
I'm not pulling up because I'm lazy
This really Marshals the Men
For normal gods holy shit there's way too many gods in AoS
I am not naming them all you can google them yourself lol
it helps that they mostly kept most of the WHF gods to some degree too
the variety is great
đ
Nah
because of how Slaanesh "birthed" them from Morathis fuck up of the century
Theyâre legal
Just greater daemon
genuine question, do dwarves run fast
not really no
Notably not
^
do their units have less movement on tabletop
They just tend to leap
Dwarfs big gimmick on the WHFB tabletop
is that they're slow as shit
and reliable
so you're saying dwarves can DUNK
Somehow yes
Table top wise and Total War have them be the slowliest marcher and hitter.
in AoS Cities of Sigmar dwarfs are very durable and slow
Slayers are a unique case
Khadron are fast for dwarfs
Most dwarves are wearing a lot of gear
this is excluding their boats
their boats are fast as shit and you will regret the horde of angry flying dwarfs descending upon you
so pro tip for avoiding angry dwarf is running away, got it
Kharadrons are literally if you get born as a dwarf you picking the corpo lifepath
I mean they have guns
đ
Hope he doesnât have a gun
i didnt account for this
There is one thing dwarf firearms are known for, accuracy and reliability
Through runes and shit
If you want a big fucking boomstick go get a human gun
Slow persistent hunter...
a distinctive lack of halberds in aos sadly
Dwarfs will be selling the same guns their grandpa sold 500 years ago
Maybe with slightly newer materials
but they cant ride all the rollercoasters at six flags
you book
At least thereâs the second best weapon
Woah hold your horses.
New ? As in untested ? Not in my Karak
Spears
axe+spear my beloved
I'll have you know those materials were tested for 389 years by several dwarven smiths
wfb understood that
yeah but they're on these boring guys
It wonât load so I have to assume Dilara posting unrelated stuff
Undead my beloved
1 handed halberd
He's simply built better
Cities of Sigmar also cant really look like Empire men-at-arms or GW will get mad.
also the Cities of Sigmar use halberds
Hence the more forced distinctiveness
There are literally guys who still look like that in the new AoS book
đ
IM TALKING TABLETOP WISE
SHUT THE FUCK UP

the best thing ever made
Cos minis don't have halberds do they ?
looks at the model range fucks sake
because yeah sure in lore they have any medieval weapon available am sure
but my swords
unfortunately this was because of GW's new attempt to make everything only be in 1 system
which is
empire had sword and shields too
annoying
Yeah but those guys suck
and they also had the best type of sword in all of history
the zweihander
or the flameberge depending on how schizo you are
can't wait for the mini
god I love this art so much
its peak
that's the asthetic they should've gone with for cities
Ehhh
I like the direction still
they did it since europe-soup is better for WHF, they need a better identity to look different for AOS.
This is the same company that ditched an entire unit line because star wars was using the same name
so lol
tbh its really easy to make kitbashes of like
that style thankfully
since its a historical styled mini
landsknecth in fantasy was unique enough
I mean
it's a downgrade to me but it's up to personnal taste
its done to look different like i said, not much to do about it
also another design for Cities of Sigmar Freeguilds that don't have minis lol
Lmao that one love it
it looks like an unfucked up version of the stuff the Deathrattle skeletons wear
they also prob thought kids would get confused about settings using the same aesthetic for both its human factions
wait there's skeletons in aos???
JAY
IM GONNA TURN YOU INTO A FUCKING SKELETON
LOL
Jay I think at this point itâs harassment and I will be filing a complaint with HR
No oneâs this dumb
I still really like this art of the Dawnbringer Crusades
Yeah that stuffs dope
the fact that everyone is willingly there too is even funnier since theres no slave labor lmao
The execution is just, eh doesnât do it for me
the chance of getting to set up a new city is great ig lol
how are the steampunk dwarfs doing btw
just the boys working together
Rolling in money
tabletop wise? very good
usual stuff
LOL
i mean lore wise and range wise
they're prolly one of the most fleshed out 2e armies range wise and lore wise
good because it's the best thing of AOS
The mics on the side complete it
book man
Roll up on the sky dock with my Glock
i love dwarfs and these guys are 100 levels above the fyreslayers
also they're the only AoS faction who gets to do drive by shootings
on the tabletop lol
guy's got a pocket sized elephant gun
nobody likes em
"most" is being generous
so many are just bad
they would be cool if the minis had cocks
what the FU-
so true
I think the big Fyreslayer paint style I like is the like
It take whatâs cool about slayers and makes them just a normal army

Average 40k twitter user ahh comment
Mfw women exist
fyreslayer going up the stairs, you hear a thud each steps he takes

BEEG gun
Itâs well know male fyreslayers are better at throwing axes cause they can set up a tripod for support
I sincerely hope they're allowed to keep the drive by shooting rule
in AoS 4e
literally one of the funniest fucking things ever
The balloon-riding grindset wont stop
Elf and dwarf ranges for cities need some help lol
Theyâve had like 2 new minis ever and both were for side games

They will get drafted back to WHF hopefully
they need their playdough minis back

Yeah but new ones
what was the Aetheric Domains in 30k again i forgor....
she really fell off damn
Samus is aligned I think actually

I still cant believe they did that time bullshit where Samus' origin point is from Loken's death
I just kinda lost the plot at that point tbh
same with uhh the fuck was his name Grammaticus going back in time or some shit to set up the clues for the future
GOD

I hate time travel.
I hate time travel.
I hate time travel.
I hate time travel.
Fake fan smh
AAA
He got that Scooby Doo live action movie monster in him
he really does, shitty CGI included
wow its literally the same thing minus the muscles lmfao
I hate it
I am the end and the death

No deals. Business hours are over đŽ
Mutually assured torture
First off, recap:
âą At the beginning of the Space Age, Humanity was getting pretty chill at their peak.
âą Then the Warp got FUNKY, and ruined everyone's vibes.
âą Through the destabilization of Society, untold horrors of the cosmos, humanity was barely clinging to existence
âą Then along came the Emperor. Through Manifest destiny and conquest, he reunited Holy Terra. Began the great Crusade.
Go on
So Era wise we should be viewing the Golden Age, rn
Golden Age/DAOT is earlier
Mhm
Hmmm, hmm
Ah, ok
thats events in order
"Beginning of the Dark Age of Technology."
6000 years later
"Beginning of the Dark Age of Technology."
Its mostly due to wonky dates in lore
That makes sense
Lexi does what it can best to pinpoint stuff in a general area
Right, so before the Heresy, what did humanity itself do, to contribute for the Emperor?
Old ones
Pre robo necrons
War/death of Necrons
Meet the Ctan
Robo Necrons
War in heaven
Birth of Korks and Eldar
Necrons sleep
Wym?
Nothing, just conquest.
Hmm, mmmh
they spread forth in crusade fleets, found humans/aliens, if humans complied they integrated them to the Imperium, if they said no they exterminated them.
Then they become a part of the Imperium and basically do what any imperial world does today
Rule the planet, give yoru resources to the tithe, send it back to terra, etc
So, was the Administratum and the Elyssiarchy established during the Crusade?
Eldar destroy Korks
Korks go to Orks
Eldar become dark Eldar
Birth of Slannesh
Eldar Near extinction
Humanity
the Ecclesiarchy was established way after the Emperor was put on the throne
the Administratum was made just before the Great Crusade
Oh, that's right I forgor
Mass suicide of psykers going into one being called the Emperor
The Emperor lives and manipulates humanity at times
So in terms of Hierarchy, with the Emperor at the top. What the chain of command for the Administratum and the Imperium itself?
Humanity goes nearly to extinction
The hierarchy is way too complex to really put on a board
basically every adepta of the Imperium has some modicum of great power
The Emperor makes himself knows and actively starts leading man
the Administratum itself though is definitely one of the founding and strongest pillars since they handle every kind of administration stuff in the Imperium
Mhm
even if their department is a fucking disaster
But then theres more shit
Ahh,
So who's the "Head" head of the Administratum?
Big E
Outside of the Emperor of course
Malcador
Malcador
Sat on that golden seat
I got it
Ooh, makes sense then
don't forget the high lords of terra
Right, so with theGreat Crusade underway, uniting Humanity across the Cosmos, bolstering the ever growing Imperium. There was something else brewing in the Shadows
yes
A "Heretical" temptation
Yes
Right, there's a lot that went down during the HORUS HERESY, so I want to keep it in the view point of humanity (excluding the space marine for that's all whole 'nother discussion for another time). First question: before the events of the "Heresy" kicked off, did humanity itself encounter new threats from the Warp?
They had various face of with Chaos Cultists and even some Daemon. But it was quite rare
Yes and No
The warp itself is pure emotion nearly
Before everything kicked off the warp was calm as hell
Ahh, uhh
During the Great Crusade it was already in turmoil
No I mean before the war in heaven
Hmm
That doesn't really answers Penitent's question
True
Like saying did we use guns in WW1.
No in the Medieval era we didn't use guns...
But in long short everything was semi lowkey before the heresy
It's like a yes or no question, if humanity encountered demons or not when the warp grew more unstable.
The Warp was unstable when human got out of their caves
There were daemons world before the Great crusade
During the Heresy, humanity was put into a schism between siding with Horus, claiming to be the next ruler of humanity, and remaining loyal to the Emperor.
Mhm
Those who sided with Horus had clear enough "grudges' they held to themselves towards the Imperium.
Also know as the Traitors and Loyalists
Right
Mhm including Primarchs
the primarchs were the ones with the grudges and shit. the astartes just followed suit or went against the grain
Ah
Astartes where torn between their gene fathers and the Emperor
If I remember correctly, The Militarum and the Navy was one whole Military before the Heresy.
you have the occasional main character astartes who has his reasons but mostly it's the primarchs
yeah, literally, getting torn in half unless they side with the guy with the biggest guns in the closest proximity
literally all the militarum detachments either followed whatever astartes chapter they were attached to or were slaughtered
the militarum was alot more together before the heresy
they hardly had any choice
Hmm, mmh.
The Heresy was the reason why there's so many divisions in the militarum
also back then it was called imperial guard but that's a dumb thing
Since it was more compact every primarch had everything
it's important to remember that chapters back then were entire armies
Giving the war more even ground making it why it took so long
they had tank detachments and everything
So how much did the Imperium lose, when half of the Guard turned traitor during the "Heresy"
Countless numbers
not much in terms of guardsmen since they're disposable
In terms of planetary territory..
losing astartes chapters to chaos was a much bigger loss
Countless worlds
Oh
From what I bluntly know, the war was so bad it was basically on lead into Holy Terra itself.
Yes
it literally ended on terra
Thanks to dirty perty
a slight disturbance
THE END OF THE DEATH
However it truly ended with Hawkboys death and the fight with horus and the Emperor
How were they able to hold them off for that long??
Fight like hell
you talking about sanguinius?
Sanguinius has the wings tho
The traitors basically more or less almost made it to the throne room so they just kinda won through plot reasons since they cant exactly lose and fighting every step of the way
the planet itself was literally sliding into the Warp lol
rip Cadia
Oh
not for the plot
which is hilarious
also epic yu gi yo battle
I don't know if it is a pure rumor/speculation, but I've heard that a lone guardsmen was able to keep off Horus from the Emperor...
However the most disgusting thing I seen was in the story beside the deamonculaba was the creation of the first noise marine
the concert itself was....chilling to say the least
Nah thats in-universe propaganda
he instantly got smashed to shit
he also wasnt a guardsman
that guy literally has 3 difference stories
olyadus pius or something
He was a actually chad, shot horus in the face and just got smashed
astra militarum coping to the highest degree
LET'S GO
god roll on the laspistol, yeah
Gave the Emperor a small pep talk, shot horus, then died
Right long story short:
Horus wanted to be the Big Dog used demons and stuff to bolster his strength. Half of the Imperial Guard went traitor, willing or not. The fight went on and on until the last match was on Holy Terra, with Humanity on the cusp of destruction. Plot reasons, Imperium makes a comeback, Horus takes a fat L, then the Emperor sits forever more on the Golden Throne. Thus ending the "Heresy" and the "brightside" of the Imperium.
Thats a very big oversimplification but more or less
Now the Dark Ages. Or the Dark Imperium or whatever they're called...
Dark Age of Technology/Golden Age
Oh, I was off, sorry about that...
He got the stabbed with a evil knife by Erebus
So after the "Heresy". How badly fucked up was the Imperium?
Extremely more or less
Nearly back to square one
they split apart all their institutions so rebellion wouldnt be as easy like the Heresy in any of them, the Imperial religion took hold, things got more hectic etc
also there was the Scouring of the rest of the traitors
The Indominus something..
There's is a story about a AI from earlier came into modern 40k
I heard about it, from the conversations between operatives in mission
It called humanity senial and nothing like its masters before hand
the Indomitus Crusade is 10 millennia later
the green section is post heresy
But that's another story for later
Literally said they were on the verge of Ascendence and now to the point of worms
Timeline wise. After the Emperor's initialization to his Life Support. To Big factions came to be. Through his selfless sacrifice for Humanity and theCleansing of the Heretic Traitors, the Emperor Ascended to God-ship. Those who witnessed such Glory worshiped him with dogmatic fanatic-tism, for this new cult shall forever be known as the Elyssiarchy. Remaining ever so loyal to the "*** God Emperor of Mankind***"!!! While most went to revel in his god-hood and beg for repentance. Others formed a new order to vanguard against new threats that will come within and without. Through this secrecy the Inquisition came forth, as the last line of defense for the Imperium.
......
Right during the Rebirth of the Imperium, what new threats did humanity have to face now?
same as usual; Chaos, Aliens, Itself etc
its all just setup for the 40k we generally know
Huh... Ok.
Hold on lemme look at my topic points...
.....
Ok almost nearing the end of the large topic discussion. Let's talk about new vendettas and what's becoming of humanity (as a whole, and about the mutants)
.....
So we know that the Imperium is Racially Xenophobic. How did that happen/escalate? Was there a big war with one of the Xenos that wanted to wipe us out?
It basically spawned how it has IRL, just rampant propaganda, fear of things they dont understand etc. There was about as many peaceful aliens as much as hostile ones during the Age of Strife, the Emperor just made sure the flames for it soared more and post 30k it reached a boiling point with the formation of the Ecclesiarchy even when the Imperium almost always creates its own problems.
Uh huh
The xenophobia also applies to other humans too essentially since the entire Imperial mentality is "you are with us or against us"
Ooooh
Now the Warp. After the Heresy, how much of a consistent threat did the warp and the "creatures" from the Warp come to be?
Constant and never-ending
Humans worship chaos almost on every imperial planet more or less
Oh
Plot twist, the Imperium is kinda terrible and gives birth to these things lol
sometimes cults get culled sometimes they dont
â»ïž
Hence the existence of the Inquisition
their competance varies due to it
Yea
Right so the "Mutants" how long have been with Humanity? Were they with us since the beginning of were they a new thing to deal with?
Mutants were around during the DAOT presumably
Oh
physical deformaties/mutations also exist today too so lol
its genetic, from the environment itself or warp related
Oh
the firstt two are also the general IRL reasons for it
From what I bluntly understand. We hate "Mutants" for they are dangerous. So how many mutants do we know of, and how many are we "supposedly" ok with?
I know Orgryns and Psykers are Mutants...
If there's a considerable range...
Mutants are hated because of a variety of reasons but it mainly stems from a place of prejudice because they are "different" and stay from the perfect human form.
Mutants that are "ok" are labelled as abhumans (abnormal humans) and put to work as auxillaries elsewhere where they dont really get any say in what they do, so more or less just glorified slave soldiers and other things.
Oh
Kinda of what the "Loner" says mid-mission, "Just so long as you have a use for the Imperium, you won't be too terribly treated." Or something like that.
Yeah pretty much
if you want the hypocrisies of the Imperium pointed out the Loner is great for that
I picked him because of the funny accent, but yea...
đ
....
So do we have a list of known "Abhumans"?
Yeah
Outside the Psyskers and Ogryns?
Abhumans are human subspecies - descendants of humans who have physically evolved after long periods of isolation on worlds with various extreme environmental conditions.[Needs Citation]
"AAAAAGGGGH, I'M ILLITERATE"!!!
When I'm done having discussions of said specific topics. I'll read them as well.

Ok, crash course time: From the mutants that I relatively know and heard of... I want a crash course summary of the relatively popular "Abhumans" and will probably ask some questions about them.
Psykers are just people born with magic powers
Ogryns are people from high gravity worlds that get gigantism
Ratlings are just hobbit snipers
Ah
cat boys
no
ok

Habsburg minmaxing you mean
Psykers are a whole can of Kraevalar (space worms that I made up in my head) so that's a discussion topic I want to look into some other time. All I know is that they've been here since the Space Age, gets powers from the Warp, and Either blows up or become FUNKY (Possessed)
Being a psyker sounds fun at first, but then you pull out that Walgreens receipt of bad things that happen to psykers and it's like yah
Right so Ogryns
They're from high gravity planets that gained a mutation of Gigantism...
How long have we had 'em for? How long can they live? (without dying in combat)
More or less as long as people have inhabited high gravity worlds, they were around in 30k as well.
And they live about as much as normal people, they are still humans.
I imagine they can live as long as any other person with access to whatever magic life extending meds exist in the setting
Yeah again they are just human.
so not much difference biology wise minus the gigantism
So are naturally (whispers) "Slow".
Slow?
Socially and intelligently
You mean they are dumb?
they arent naturally born like that
they are manipulated to stay dumb by the Imperium
its why they act like children
While it's impossible to fairly qualify the intelligence of Ogryns. It's highly probable that it stem more from them not being taught stuff rather than mental limits
Ok, what about the metal bits that are implanted in their brain?
those are boneheads, only they get enhancements
Bonehead implant don't make them "smart" or even "smarter"
gw when writing this
Yeah they legit got no idea how a high gravity world would affect a person

You'd also become shorter, not bigger
Ok, so in terms of Legends. Who is the most legendary Ogryns known in 40k?
nork deddog is a true legend of the imperium
i watched a tabletop tactics game and he finished off the game by headbutting Vashtorr to death
very legendary
hes THE ogryn of all time
I'm a little curious on the ranks of our characters! Like I know there are Inquisitorial Agents but that's not exactly a rank right?
Or like a level 30 characters rank
Weâre like acolytes or inqusitorial Jackboots
Weâre agents of the inquisitor
yeah we're outside any organized rank system
it's whatever system our inquisitor is using
Acolyte is in the organized rank system
Its kind of a rank, Agent of the Throne/Acolyte is basically what we are at the moment, once you go past Level 30 your reject has the chance to mention that they have taken the Hereticus Oath and have become a proper part of the warband, anyone that doesnt meet the standard/dies in the field tends to be just a normal penal troop at that point. We are still referred to as Rejectsâąïž but its more of a poster line at this point more than anything else.
Especially since compared to the launch missions we are at this point undertaking operations that would only be given to trustworthy agents in particular.
Oh damn that's awesome!!!!
Thank you so much! I've been having a bit trouble with lore for my character so this helps a lot!
No problem đ
People meme that we are "basically homeless people" when thats never been really the case, every reject personality you select minus maybe the zealots/psykers have proper military background and training to some degree
Lmao that's sorta funny, but yeah almost everyone has proper training!
At the very least the savant was an enforcer
They donât yell stop resisting when using the shock maul though
Real shame
I am curious though in the eyes of let's say a regular guardsmen what would the social concept be? Would it be disgust looking down upon a "reject" or would it be more like looking up to a superior?
You can take a guess from how the normal ship operatives treat/comment at you when you walk past them.
^yeah this
One of the operatives on the consoles mention the basic rejects look up to you as inspiration and to keep that image up.
Yeah before that you may as well be a literal piece of shit under their boot lmao
after that they very much became aware of your elite status in the warband, you are still an expendable asset like everyone else on the ship but you proved your worth essentially
Ahhhh awesome! Damn I'm so excited I didn't know the DarkTide lore was so awesome!!! ^^
Its not in your face like most games so you kind of need to dig and listen to chatter of characters to pick pieces up yourself.
Its in the same spirit as Vermintide 1 and 2
This is off topic but when is the game set? During the plague wars is what I read on the wiki?
Early indomitus crusade
Interesting, so the dark imperium book line-ish?
Yeah around then
More or less yeah
Maybe a bit before or after
We dont really do anything important aside from rescuing this shithole planet.
so basically the plot of most 40k novels lol
Tertium isnât a shithole itâs the crown jewel of the Moebian dominion smh my head
BUT MA MOEBIAN STEEL

Lol
Yeah its the case with like every single 40k game
even the upcomign Space Marine 2
you are just on two shitty worlds overrun with tyranids
nothing important
Haha gotcha
Same but alas
Do you think Moebian steel tastes better then normal steel
has too manâŠ
Iâm really just trying to put together the big picture of the timeline we are in. For the immersion
And also every time I run the foundryplex mission the redneck in me is like â how many damn times do we have to start this machine before we decide itâs broken.â
Hadron would prolly kill anyone for saying itâs broken
What weighs more a kilogram of Moebian feathers or a kilogram of Moebian steel

Best Scottish person to ever exist
Honestly rather have a survival horror and extraction shooter where you play as a guardsman or hiver amidst a tyrannid invasion
But there's only one ship remaining
You arent allowed to decide that, for you are of the laity
and as hadron says, the foundryplex produces like 11% tougher tank plating
so its valuable enough to keep fighting for
I'd like this but as a asymettrical game where the people playing as the nids are playing a whole different genre
My apologies sah
So out of curiosity, but has there ever been any space marine tanks used by The Imperial Guard or Inquistiors?
Malcador tanks used to shared across both factions
And most rhinos and landraiders used to be a thing for a lot of PDF forces in the 30th millennium
And I think the arbites still use rhinos? And so do the sister of battle
Sisters even have unique rhino variants like the Immolator and Exorcist
which are just rhinos with a twin heavy flamer turret and a missile lancher that is made to look like a church organ respectively
I'm just wondering more about the heavier stuff like Predators or Land Raiders, seeing how some inquisitors have terminator armour.
Land raiders Defo not
Guard use to run land raiders
Predators are a maybe but the Russ and Dorn kinda make them irrelevant
Back in the imperial armor days I think there was a rule for guard to have a relic predator tank
ngl the rhino is an amazing vehicle design wise, the shear amount of things you can slap on the top front and sides are impressive
That's the chimera for guard lol
Like 60% of their vehicles are just chimera variants, and the rest are Russ and Bane blade variants
which funny enough gives them more options than the space marines when it comes to heavy vehicles
hm, is the Dorn as modular as the Russ?
What about vehicle like a leman russ or a hell hound?
the Russ forms its own base that is used to make up the main tank core
the hell hound is a chimera variant
What is the name of the leman Russ varient with the ch0de cannon?
Ch0de is censored here lol
the demolisher, the cannon is a petard mortor made to level structures
Not yet
wow i have seen this thing before
I love it
Some of my favorite varient
Next to the old resin exterminator
*incinerator
Death watch players are doom posting
I highly doubt death watch is going anywhere, there will probably be rules for a deathwatch specific army
yeah I'm 100% sure there will be a Deathwatch specific detachment rule in the new book to run a mono Deathwatch army
also I don't get why'd you'd be angry/sad about having more fluffy options to run along side your Deathwatch units
Honestly at this point a lot of warhammer fans just complain for the sake of complaining
You are given more options yet you are complaining about the options
indeed
Inquisitors can use Land Raiders
Same with Rhinos, the latter is more common but a Land Raider would need you to have SUPREME clout and influence to acquire one.
Apart from Custodes stuff, is there anything they can't use ?
Most astartes equipment for starters
vehicles especially
Really the only limit is practically and how much can you suck off the magos without gagging
the only ones they can acquire for Inquisitorial use are like, Land Raiders, Rhinos and Thunderhawks

Sadly going by the promotional photos
We are only recovering Rhinos and Chimeras for our dex I think
Yeah alas, im strictly speaking from a lore standpoint
You'd think they'd allow Land Raiders for the Deathwatch and Grey Knight elements
Game rules donât apply to lore
Mostly
Deathwatch and GKs definitely use Land Raiders in lore
Yea, they've even had their own versions sold as models
Although nowadays in rules pretty sure Deathwatch just use the standard Land Raider, but Grey Knights still have seperate rules for their own unique Land Raiders
Don't the Grey Knights have their own unique weapons?
is literally every single piece of equipment they have psychic and blessed
Generally speaking yes
All their melee weapons are special force weapons
All their bolt shells and gear are blessed and made special to fuck up daemons
Since typically normal rounds donât do much against daemons
Especially the ones theyâre fighting typically
how consistently do they give demons true death
it takes a lot to true death even a weak one
Theyâre not doing that much, mostly just banishing
Sometimes they bind them to something too
True death just requires that much resources huh
Itâs inconsistent
Also true death lesser daemons is pointless
Greater daemons and daemon princes are much harder and they donât really have the means often
besides the emperor's sword which you can't really just copy and paste
Yeah, itâs notable when weapons do it for a reason
Itâs rare daemons actually have to be concerned about that
But they do bind or keep certain artifacts on Titan which they canât destroy or donât want to risk getting away
Which is where the Blade of Antwyr and Crowe come in
For an extreme case
So if they can somehow get their hands on Skarbrand they would bind him on like an artifact they have on titan to keep him in check
If the opportunity presented itself they might, more likely theyâd just try to banish him
With those kinda threats thatâs all you can do really
Same as how they went about trying to deal with Magnus, Mortarion, Angron
The good thing with those guys is it takes an absurd effort and amount of power to summon and maintain their forms so they often canât last long and if you banish them theyâre probably not coming back soon
Which is also why Angrons whole endless rezzing is a huge fucking problem
Normally if you banish him heâs gone for hundreds to thousands of years
But khorne Quite literally invested a good chunk of his power into him making him damn near a threat every time even if you banish him consistently
Theoretically there is a cost to it but itâs not clear rn, it probably leaves him open to being attacked by the other gods
Yeah but like doesn't he basically replenish his power 24/7 because of the constant war in the setting
like it is getting to the point that the three other gods need to team up to knock him down a peg
Mortarions big push into Ultramar for example cost him when Perturabo attacked his Plague Empire after
Itâs waxes and wanes
Nurgle was the peak during the Plague Wars
I imagine Slannesh will be there soon once the EC roll around sometime in the next few years
With the constant brutal conflicts in the setting i think corn will honestly get his face kicked in by the other three
They always gang up on the strongest
Likely thereâs gonna be a cost for his big push with Angron and the WEs
Similar to how Nurgle had one
Plus you got Vashtorr doing whatever the hell heâs working on in the Pariah Nexus
Me when people say chaos gods are forces of unknowable nature then act like fucking schoolyard kids
Yeah but they do it WÌŽÍÌĂŻÌŽÍÌâ ÌŽÌÌhÌ”ÌÍ ÌžÌÌÂąÌ”Ì̜”̷ÌrÌŽÌ̶ͧÌÌĂȘ̶ÍÍĂÌŽÍÌ Ì”ÌÌâ Ì·ÍĂȘxâ

Oh yeah dilara in age of sigmar and then old world did corn still hold the strongest chaos god position
Khorne isnât the strongest, he just sometimes is
It changes
Theyâve all been strongest and gotten knocked down a peg and the cycle continues
There's even a mechanic for it in the Warhammer TW 3, where which god is on top regularly changes giving different buffs to the chaos factions
In fantasy it was mostly Tzeentch and Nurgle
Whichever one we see varies by the timeline
It is currently I think
It was Nurgle after the rift
Itâs shifting a lot more rapidly these days
40k ? Don't think they've currently been ranked, last to make some noise was Khorne
Squalor is everywhere -> Nurgle
The four are the big four because they're all present everywhere
hmm i see
Khorne tends to be regularly at the top because war is like the core of every warhammer setting.
everyone else lines up on different spots depending on the mood of the galaxy
yeah because you blink and literally 500 battles happen immediately
pretty much
So khorne gets power from more battles and nurgle from more disease, but how do tzeentch and slaanesh get stronger?
Change
Tzeentch gets stronger from hopes/dreams/thoughts and enjoy scrushing them
like uh
most bosses IRL

Slaanesh is just want, excess, joy, etc
And excess
They are all tied to basic human emotions you go through in a daily basis
So too many war feed Slaanesh
Slannesh steals from everyone
Itâs just an endless cycle of one rising and then the other three kicking them down
You just keep giving me more things to kill
also just like real life
I can hear them crawling on the damn walls again
Redditors dont have codices
Some do unfortunately

good thing they cant mostly read it
Thatâs why we should nuke the globe
Yeah how do you think they discovered the golden woman on their apparently male dominated hitler guard
It would subvert expectations
Lmao
STOP IT LOL
speaking of lemme visit r/40klore real quick
i need entertainment
YOU KNOW I'M DANG RIGHT INQUIZITOR
Do show anything that makes you wince, sorting by new helps to find the cringe easier
Honestly its normal stuff atm, the questions I hate are shit like this
Like... holy fuck dude what do you think
I think the worst one i saw was uh, iirc:
"What do Inquisitor's pilots pilot?"
your mom's car
what else
đ
And the replies are just the most aimless stuff listing shit that doesnt matter instead of just saying a fucking valkyrie lol
The real response is to tell the person to stop being so fucking lazy and look it up
^
Most of this shit is a Google away
I hate how when you tell them this they just downvote you
this is the type of question eternal reward will kill and brutally murder someone over yeah i agree
Correct response: Do you still love your mom after she drank heavily and did hard drugs while she was pregnant with you?
LMAO CHRIST
Letmegooglethat.com is a great thing to link to them
Because thatâs the only explanation I can think of for those lazy ass questions
That or itâs bots I guess
It's definitely people because what the **** do you get by having bots ask questions like this
The mods are also fucking useless and only just ban posts for new book spoilers and do jackshit otherwise.
Karma farming bots
Sometime I think we should do that here too
We should do it more

I wish we had a bot which slapped someoneâs nuts whenever they asked a broad and non specific question
God id get that if it wasnt so hard to program
we did it for people who wouldnt shut the fuck up about "lasgun recoil"
so it gave you an emote react every time you said it
like a mark of dunce
I can just imagine the Gemini AI question answers because they did source the a lot of the stuff from Reddit
Do it everytime someone says whens the next rotation
the warhammer related questions are about to be ******* hilarious
these are definitely not the worst btw, just obnoxious. Ive seen so many much worse ones.
There were posts with like 0 Upvotes 1029 comments of "Why do people worship the Chaos Gods when the Emperor exists"

Send one here, it's not a lore chat conversation without a horrific one

Probably something gay
Stop coming out the closet IN THE LORE CHAT
Already did, i just like saying it because its funny
why would you worship anything BUT the chaos gods
death to the false emperor
based, based
Sister of Battle picture
Full on chaosites
makes sense...
Look closer

Why would anyone play a faction that isnt space marines
Theres other factions?
I worship the power of human camaraderie and the ability to persevere and overcome by helping your fellow man (and maybe xenos if itâs mutually beneficial)
Thatâs my canon rogue trader
Theyâd accept the emperor in certain aspects, focusing less on punishing his charges and instead on protecting or guiding them
Guys this has to be bait
They also are the type of people to swear to God that they will kill you because you told them the flaws in their army
Some people still are dumbfounded by FS not doing SM so yes, they exist

Hopefully with the space marine game coming out it will direct some of the space marine related attention away from Darktide
so sick of it
These are the same nerds that think darktide will die once sm2 comes out
Think, or hope
Yeah some reddit pieces are doomer "fs u gotta fix ur game now if you want to compete with sm2"
Mostly think surprisingly
SM2 is gonna be hype for like 2 months then probably fall into the same place as Darktide.
The game looks great but at its core its too simple, its only main selling point is the scenery/spectacles + Space Marines
I would be surprised if they can somehow pull a helldivers where the game is quite simple but they made it work so well it lasted a long while
Im gonna play the shit out of the pvp at least
