Guys, I have a lore/theory question that may or may not address things unspecified in the lore:

In a book there is an event where a space marine apothecary applies space marine blood to an injured/sick woman and she recovers well, lives long and healthy life.

I know it's the fault of writer who knows batshit about biology, but can it be assumed that implants and generally making a space marine alters their blood to 0Rh-?

Makes sense, because: This blood type is the perfect donor for everybody. And if a marine is injured, can get transfusion from other marine no problem.

Can such an alteration be assumed?
