• Imperium's language is Low and High Gothic, with many sub-dialects of it own sometimes appearing in books but its not that big of a thing.

• Most human planets will have their own language of varying kinds.

• Realistically some Imperial worlds would have almost thousands of dialects due to their culture and whatnot but this is mostly handwaved as either them just not really ever letting go of it or more or less just being largely "colonized" by the Imperium and Low Gothic becoming common place for the normal folks while the elite get to speak in High Gothic.

It gets a bit complex but you really shouldnt care for the most part since like i said 40k writers cannot understand the concept of how languages work lol so its not that big of a deal
