Its weird as of late because I realized from watching this that 40k, despite basically bringing up the concept of grimdark into the forefront of many people, also isnt that great at it? Not to say its awful, but I think theres a disconnect with me and that setting likely due to the sheer ridiculousness that happens

Games like Spec Ops or the one in this video (The Forever Winter) do the whole grimdark thing better, but thats also probably because its hitting too close to home
