And then they should have won the legion wars by merit of being the most powerful major force after but they fumbled that too

Ahriman similarly could be much more effective than he is but he’s obsessed with the Rubric which he’s too much of a fool to see he’ll never be allowed to reverse.

The point is for how much power chaos gives you there’s a big cost too

Lucius is given an insanely powerful ability which would be a benefit to most people but it just ends up being an ironic curse for him since he doesn’t care anymore and he keeps chasing that dragon of some arbitrary perfect duel
