it may not be like the modern US military, more like the chinese style where they just drop random amounts of supplies and leave it up to the theater to distribute them

maybe I headcannon this a bit but I look at all the "mysterious machinery" in their tombs, and swarms of scarabs, I think of a huge post scarcity teleport based supply chain where everything is assembled in molecular printers underground or onboard ships and just teleported to the consumer as needed. its not hard to imagine how supply chains would work if you have that technology. but maybe im a wierdo intersection of people who work in that field and also a sci fi nerd xD
and when you need work done in the field you make a bunch of scarabs and send them out to get the work done on site for things that cant be teleported
