The giant squid?
Not mindless but its an animal
Yeah then it's basically just giant calamari
This is the type of talks that will literally happen in a thousand plus years when we get to another planet starving
Don't worry we're not chinese
(5e)
Okay that might be a little offensive now that i read it
I was about to say
Breh
Damn krakens apparently are also psionic
I was like is that a three body problem reference
Yeah and cats can't jump
But only one group of people went to cannibalism
Because they don't have the proper strength stat
lol
Eating wild Krakens certainly has disease risk, people gonna need domesticated krakens.
Domesticating a sapient thing is pretty crazy
Dont eat parasites
They're just giant squid it's like giant calamari
Domesticated? Bro they are gonna domesticate you
Way smarter then any player could ever be
Dungeon Meshi has taught me so much about cooking shit
If so smart why so tasty
If smart and wise and sentient, why food shaped
Dungeon Meshi, all the blood gore and vore people popping out the woodwork
@outer wave when eldar
SHHH
Which would be tastier to a space marine, Tau or Eldar?
Tau
Ancient people domesticated Elephants 4500 years ago.
You were going to justify eldar manslaughter for some food
Don't judge me
But yeah caniblism is weird and gross in everything setting and I always dislike it
D&D has lots of cool lil creatureoids
Like they wont write this stuff, but space marines definitely just eat their conquests
Skyrims does
They drink people insides, like a spider kinda
What's the difference between sucking and biting
They just be eating corpses
You succ blood
Not eat meat
Okay but Skyrim's werewolves are based
Silence furry
The “royal vampires” are eating human organs when you meet them in dawnguard lol
Yeah and strangling someone with gloves isn't apparently strangling them
Yeah because skyrim is STUPID
Real

Dawnguard DLC is definitely super shit
Real
Ok so why would a school let in an armored warrior capable of wrestling a dragon as a wizard even though the guy only knows like two f****** spells
my honest reaction:
There's a joke somewhere in there!
I cast silver bolts
I always wondered about the anatomy of vampires
There is an anime where a guy is super strong but is still considered a wizard
Mashle yes?
Into their veins probably
How does the blood affect their body?
But their hearts dont beat so does it just sit there...
This is now a total war warhammer question
Yeah they just digest it
The teeth is to open the wounds
Blood doesn’t have protein
Don't get too deep into it
Not a lot
So they could suck it through
They should be scrawny little soy babies
Yes thats why vampires are emaciated
Why are they so stornk
They only drink blood the morons
Nuh uh, I used alchemy glitch to give me ring of +99999% silver resistance
It be the devils bargain
Its why Ogres are so strong cuz they eat the blood AND THE MEAT
I use the console
btw, that thirst of Blood angels... Can't it be quenched carrying a few blood packs with their luggage?
I wish skyrims silver weapons actually were cool
Yea
Literally saw them, thought they looked cool and never used them
I wanna say to them its like giving into the beast?
Yeah pretty much
Name every one
Blood Angels drink blood and can reverse their aging, not something thats ever built on
Ogre 1, Ogre 2, Ogre 3, Ogre 4, Ogr--I could go on bro, just sayin'
Real
I feel like ork names and ogre names could be interchanged
And no one could tell the difference
In old world fantasy pretty much
In a way they can, but ogre names are closer to titles than ork names
Even in 40k at some cases
I thought space marines don't get old in traditional sense...
But yes ogre names are mostly titles
Especially when you take in consideration of their knack of playing up someone's achievements
Like Greasus Goldtooth
Or idk Schlrog Bigfarter
Bragg the gutsman
Yep Bragg's a good example
Quite literally guts people with his giant hook
He's literally just Guts in Fantasy
Black Swordsman who's a loner
Also uh the guy that got the Maneaters their name
I cant say his first name since this server doesnt like a certain word in his name
They do.
Some official artists for GW loves making space marines fucking ugly and wrinkly for no reason
Apparently they can just die from old age too, because thats a thing from Space Wolves
GW official art, a space marine under 100 years old, oh he looks a bit like a twenty year old dude, 200 years old, some 40 year old, 300ish year old and GW just ports easy pete to their models
Honestly I was also under the impression space marines were immortal
Functionally Immortal
Especially when you take in consideration of CSMs who have lived through the Long War
2 years ago in this same chat, i pointed out that Space Marines are just lobsters
Warp shenanigans, some of them are younger than they seem because of how time moves like in the eye of terror
Oh very true
I like to think Abbadons Black Crusade isnt actually set between 10 thousand years, itd be funny as fuck if it was only like 200 years from him
He’s actually angry because everytime he goes back for a reset, humanity had somehow fixed everything already
I wonder if there's ever been CSMs in the eye of terror that just upped and died due to warp induced old age
Like they did nothing wrong, they were doing a good job
They just died
The luckiest CSM ever
Honestly? Yeah they would be
If it happened while they were going into the warp, they didnt need to see their chapter become the freaks they are now
If its after, least they didnt get fucked over later
If they're a new recruit, now they're free
dying of old age in 40k this is the luckiest death you can get
True
Dante hoping for that day
"sorry my son but you must still juju on that beat"
Itd be funny if he somehow becomes the first marine Living Saint
Just dont fucking die
That would be both hilarious and sad
Imagine if he becomes a member of the legion of the damned
You know what I really hate
“Oh the tyranids are just invading us cause they are running from something scarier wooooo”
Just kinda makes the tyranids less cool, why would I wanna learn about them if some bigger stronger faction is just gonna show up and shit stomp them
Tbf they've been done pretty dirty even by GW standards
I remember when I heard that apparently they dont actually eat the entire planet and only eat the crust of its organic matter, so it was possible to reclaim those planets
And Im thinking "Why?"
Makes whatever the nids do seem so temporary and only a minor setback in the grand scheme of things
I feel like 40k would either have a bunch or like no traveling hero types, I can think of the names reductus sabitour
I feel its the former
Also, is the average chaos space marine way better than the average loyalist?
It depends
in what department
Loyalty or like gear
They are space marines, empowered by their regular gear as well as warp magics, and they have their own mechanicus too as well as being way older and likely more experience
Shouldn’t they just roll up and one chaos dude rocks like 5 loyalists?
Yes but a lot of the gear they use are quite outdated
Well, they're using gear thats either 10K years old with little maintainance, or scrounged off the battlefield. And while there are veterans within their ranks, many are also freshly recruited (ie: ripped off a world and subjugated to horrible indoctrination and training)
Id imagine the training is similar if not a bit outdated in comparison to loyalist training, especially with how little CSMs care for human life
(Relatively speaking anyway)
Oh i didn’t know they were still making more, figured warp fuckery would have stopped that
Mutations and all
Nah they got ways to recruit more
Iron Warriors have the Daemoncubala which is horribly disgusting and I dunno if its even canon anymore
Thousand Sons IIRC can trap marine souls into armor or just redo a miniature version of the Rubicon of Ahriman ritual to reseal souls
I dunno how World Eaters recruit but they can and apparently know how to make more Butcher's Nails for new recruits but Im also taking that fact outta my ass tbh
That’s not the lore. They are here because they saw the flash from the Pharos device exploding and the hive fleets deemed the galaxy to be filled with enough biomass for invasion
Thats because most fans dont read
lol
Dont listen to them for your sake 💀
Reminds me of yugioh players lmao
LOL
people who genuinely believe in nurgle being nice
More like they believe that Nurgle is being genuinely nice and not a coercive asshole
I did not pick khorne to be a positive honorable warrior i picked him because i want to slaughter an entire village with a giant axe it's not that deep
Literally even an old fantasy all of his most famous champions are straight up monsters
I still want a samurai-esque code of "honor" Khornate CSM warband
😔
Yes ma'am....
Like khorne's only definition of honor is fighting up close and personal with a giant bloody weapon
To him mauling people to death with your bare hands is honor
My issue with that comes in when you have other factions that basically do the EXACT SAME THING AS KHORNATES
Is fucked
Of course
Man people finding out samurai actually used guns when it came to the japan war patch
They loved guns lol
Oh yeah
Yeah
So many Warlords converted to Christianity
And a katana is just mostly their for status symbol using it as a weapon is f****** rare too
for those sweet sweet portugal guns
Um akshully they were used in duels
samurai were expert archers mostly
weren't' they
Yeah they favored range weapons in war
What I mean is like, they take Khorne's whole blood rage thing as a test of discipline, so they try to be zen as fuck, and if you're not zen as fuck and give into the blood rage (which everyone does), they kill you
Even in melee they would use very long reaching weapons
Apparently in canon, there's a CSM warband that is defined by taking up defensive positions
Which is interesting
But yeah when you have a bunch of melee-oriented factions that are all "THEY GET MAD AND BAD AND THEY KILL YOU WITH MELEE CUZ EBIC GAMERSS" its kinda tiring
Orks, Blood Angels, Space Wolves
That’s because 40k is usually pretty unoriginal
this is the best kingpin design

They are sitting in a position building up revenge critical damage
I KNOW AND IT PISSES ME OFF
DO SOMETHING LIKE
MAGE ZERKER SHIT
IDK
SOMETHING
MAKE MY BRAIN GO "OOOO" AND "AHHHHH"
Berzeker that calls down lighting to teleport closer to their enemies
Khorne would approve
Yeah that would be cool, even if Khorne hated your ass!
Path of Wild Magic lookin' ass
“Where did that lightning come we are on a moon?!”
i mean orks do it for fun and it's a good weakness to exploit you wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of an ork range barrage
“Fuck yoooooooou!” Responds the berserker
But thats not my point: my point being is that those factions are all melee-oriented or lean moreso to melee and they play into the usual tropes seen throughout 40k factions that deal with melee.
Its just kinda boring
Melee is cool
Not to say these factions are, but that trope gets old
I like to see people hit with hammers
Melee is cool yes
I love melee
I prefer melee because funny punch punch
But fluff wise, its just
The same
Games with viable melee are better games then those without
at least orks have a variety of range weapons they use to keep the melee balance and if you want pure adulterated rage and firepower go bad moonz
Very fair and Moonzpilled
But again not my point, its the trope of the berserker bit that used tirelessly throughout
I could take an ork moon in a fight
“Nah id win” mentality
And it actually makes you stronger lol
how would you take on an asteroid littered with guns on every surface
I could take on 5 moons
40k is like Dilara is completely unoriginal
I could not take a brother moon in a fight though
Like they would rip off an idea somewhere and make it more them
Those things are fucked
As much as i am quite tired of the nonsense they do with the stories you really can't bother with them anymore
They will do what the fans love and the fans love bloody melee
I just wanna see them emote more than pure anger....
Make them idk happy
Sad
Maybe surprised
Idk somethin
I bet if you made a bunch of ork’s watch all of Gurren lagaan they would transform into Gork (or maybe Mork)
Immediately
It definitely made me feel like I could fight a universe
Orks rarely get angry and most times have fun in battle if anything they would be laughing at you as they hack your corpse into a slushy
Very true but most media makes them screaming and frothing so Im going off that
Ork’s feel fear
No that's not how that works
Yes but very hard to accomplish
Yeah I know but you get the joke
Yes i get the joke but it's very old man
Even i rarely do it now
E7 is pretty fun even though I preferred the Izumo crew
Games Workshop have done it again, the circles within circles! We got another Warhammer 40,000 cryptic message, this time dedicated to the Space Wolves and the return of Leman Russ! GET YOUR FOIL, WE'RE ABOUT TO GET WET AND STICKY!

it's a Helldivers joke
Oh
It would be one of those long ones like the hellbomb
Then have the randomly generated launch sequence
⬇️⬆️⬅️⬇️⬆️➡️⬇️⬆️
Never got that far even years ago when I watched up to episode 13 or so.
Watching templin institute video on fem marines
"The Tree of any youtube channel must be, from time to time, nourished by the blood of mysoginists"
Holy based
Why is that such a hard line though
Oh yeah, don’t forget fascists, them too
I like templin a lot more now
Man I love helldivers, it’s the closest I’ll get to a game where you play as a tempestus/guardsman fighting necrons
their ork video was one of the first video I've watched related to 40K
To be dumb I like to role play in game as a confused guardsman swept up into super earth, he’s not really sure what “democracy” is, but the harsh, unquestioning authoritarian society and killing sentient robots feels right at home
Question: does resistance to chaos make you resistant to genetic defects? Ive been wondering about this since ogres are known to be highly resistant to chaos but there's not many of them (relatively speaking in comparison to other races), so interbreeding has to rather high amongst their species, so genetic defects would arise much more than usual; we dont see many defective ogres however, except maybe gorgers.
Its a genuine question please.....
unrelated as far as we know
How do we know that?
Ogres dont interbreed, female ogres exist, thats how they multiply. And Ogres can fall to chaos, they just usually dont give too much of a shit and got their down god for extra protection like the orks, they were made by the Old Ones hastily before they left too so they arent really prone to any genetic defects
Any "mutation" we see in ogres is usually when they starve themselves and become too feral and thats about it
Incest mutations and other aren't related to Chaos
I see I see, thought there'd be a chaotic influence with those sorts of mutations in lore but good to know
Chaotic mutations are notably unnatural
You know
Weird shit
Like growing spikes out of your shoulder
I mean, Im also sure a fucked spine or a softer-than-average skull is also kinda chaotic
No chaosy defects result in shit like beastmen
Okay fair enough
What's the name of the tool we use to hack things ? Not the Skull but the mini game
Dunno
The screen itself?
Ah
Isn't it just part of the interrogator skull?
It's an Auspex
That's it
Thank you
You mean Ratlings and Navigators?
Navigators are mutants made from incest and realistically I would have them wiped out but they're useful.
I mean Space Marines are genetically spliced mutants, but the Imperium likes them just fine with no prejudice maybe because they refuse to say they're mutants or don't know.
They're talking straight up IRL deformities from inbreeding
in the context of 40k
Navigators are made from incest.
Not entierly
How do you think their dynasties last?
You seriously think it's the warp doing that, they like keeping their blood pure usually. So, how do you seriously think?
the origin of the navigators wasn't via incest
is my point
if you want to just be argumentative I don't care
Not originally of course, but how do you think they remain.
Well no shit
but I'm 99% sure Cacti's comment about incest
was about IRL incest mutations
No
I am doubtful that was based on reality when they mentioned chaos.
you need only 50 people to avoid inbreeding, I feel that even smallest of dynasties have more members than that
Well but the thing is that they're usually married off to other navigators, or some wanting to keep their blood "pure" would do something like that
Hobby lobby is like a hyper Christian hobby store and every time I look at the model section they have loads of gundum stuff and I always find it funny
Huh, considering the franchise takes names from demons on occasion for mechs, I'm surprised
What about the demonic pact you have to sign with the DM?
Is that a demonic pact or just a agreement?
I thought after satanic panic they dropped that narrative
Nah some people still think like that.
The cringest thing I’ve seen recently was a Christian DnD group where they forbid blasphemy, idolatry and remove the “satanic” pagan elements of the game
As someone that grew up Christian, I still find that weird
You mean Iceland?
They have Christian and Pagan magic together and it's interesting
But that magic was never satanic it's much like catholic mysticism
This is a really shitty sword design
Like why not just incorporate that rune into the hilt/pommel/grip, it would look a lot cooler and more functional
That is all
Like at least make it into a axe
Me personally I like stabbing someone with exactly one inch of sword before I'm softlocked by two shitty attachments on the side sooo
In all seriousness it looks like it'd have the most use as a torture tool rather than for fighting
Demons and Devils are in dnd and are 2 distinct groups
Demons are chaotic evil, Devils are lawful evil
don't forget the yugoloths
I forgor about them ngl
Keyblade
Is Caiaphas Cain or Thanquil warhammers silliest clown?
Or is there one even better?
The one invisible sister of battle who was so incredibly strong blank she was unperceviable that died offhandedly to Kharn was kinda tragically funny I guess
Thanoquil
She wasnt a sister of battle,
Sister of Silence are not Sisters of Battle
Jenetia Krole killing some big names in the world eaters legion then dying randomly is just weird
no its because the Imperium is hypocrites
thats the joke lol
Like they respect navigators even though they are mutants and one of their most iconic quotes being kill the mutant
i don’t think vivid would understand that sadly
He doesn't understand anything unless it's convenient for his so-called right opinion
OKAY WOW I WAS JUST BEING SARCASTIC
anyways the lore people
me and someone was else were talking about a boss fight where we fight a wounded plague marine or something
how badly would they butcher us from a lore perspective
We got a ton of weapons that can kill space marines so he doesnt even need to be wounded.
Ogryns in lore can literally tear open tanks or suplex Chaos Terminators
we Have plasma guns Grenadier gauntlets and psykers that can canonically melt a space marine into fine metal slushy
i wanna suplex a terminator,,
Issue is that its a plague marine we're talking here
If it comes to it even a healthy plague marine
Ironically would be pretty decent of a challenge
You deal with it like how the Imperium deals with most Nurgle threats
shoot it from a distance

The Imperial Guard method
imagine you're fighting a giant round mass deodorant allergic wrecking balls
i just have to faster than the varlet next to me
That's what it's like fighting the nurgle people
Also we also got the deterrant with Zealots who literally got allah-powers
nergal

MAY ALLAH GUIDE US WITH HIS HOLY LIFHT
that was a misinput
PRAJSE BE THE QURAN
Nergal is a real god btw
Buh?
its a Sumerian deity of diseases, GW IS VERY ORIGINAL
ohh
Nergal (Sumerian: 𒀭𒄊𒀕𒃲 dKIŠ.UNU or dGÌR.UNU.GAL; Hebrew: נֵרְגַל, Modern: Nergal, Tiberian: Nērgal; Aramaic: ܢܸܪܓܲܠ; Latin: Nirgal) was a Mesopotamian god worshiped through all periods of Mesopotamian history, from Early Dynastic to Neo-Babylonian times, with a few attestations indicating that his cult survived into the period of Achaemenid domi...
yeah he's a Mesopotamian god
will this be on the test ms Dilara
yes
No thats billys uncle

yes probably next to your architect degree somehow
the old GW writers said how they did the chaos god names years ago iirc
FUCK
what does iirc mean
"if i recall correctly"
If i recall iirc
ohh
Khorne is just Crom from Conan but made to be edgier. Tzeentch was something they made up thinking what sounds cool when you shout while doing a spell, Slaanesh i cant remember, and Nurgle was just them yoinking Nergal lol
Nurgle kinda silly tbh
you're silly
i cast twist of TZEEENCH
i’m a very silly holy
that’s why i’m in the penal unit
i got too silly
that should’ve been one of the back stories just being too silly
Your definition of silly is turning someone's cancer into a monster capable of shooting acids strong enough to melt down an entire city?
Grenaded your entire commanding staff 💀
I think if you did that theyd just shoot you dead
Like not even questioning it, the highest ranked person there would just auto lock onto you and shoot you
me after leading my squad into a nurgle ambush
(i got too silly)
except khorne
there is nothing silly about someone having a champion called like ragnar the orphan decapitator

I will throw hair dye remover at you
Doombreed does one of two things, both equally terrible for a population if you think about it
The breeding of Doom
that sounds like a great time icl
Id argue Khorne is also silly
Why do your followers power up from simply getting angrier? Like how much anger can you make someone feel before they simply peak? How do you go beyond that?
angry marines moment
CUZ THEYRE CRINGE
BUH HOW
i don’t know any of the lore just bits and pieces from random youtube short
Oh so you dont know
Basically old 4chan-esque(?) joke chapter that is basically marines with >:( faces on them going FUCK YOU and flipping the bird
Its really
Yeah
YHAT SOUNDS SO FUNNY THO
no they are Hombrew
ohh
^
didn’t they also make the power chair
no they are one of the more popular homebrew chapters like the clown marines
yeah it's not that deep
No they are not. They do practice incest but their mutation are from before they did that
Wrong
I said that like before, but whatever.
Nobody apparently looks at when I say these things.
When most of the stuff you say is inconsistent ramblings that tends to happen.
So cool the jets, people were just talking.
It's inconsistent to you.
Makes perfect sense to me, and even when I bring logic into a conversation all I get is baseless assumptions. But, I am supposed to prove evidence?
Yeah, sure.
Even when I am logical all I get is your wrong, and some cryptic answer. But, I have to explain and have a source for everything I say?
I don't see anyone else bringing their sources.
Navigators interbreed with one another to maintain navigator purity
Which we don't know if its needed
That's what I said though I just said how do you think they continue their line, and shortly after made it clear I think?
They fuck each other.
Its not that complex
Opposite Houses or the same House sets up inter-marriages.
Even the Black Templar gets it

Well that's a simple way of saying it, but it's more political then that. And, not just that even.
Yeah it's not that deep
Yes, but their main mutation is not due to incest, and it's not due to Chaos mutation.
Yeah no shit
but its not that deep like bulgur said
you are literally just trying to complexify this for no reason
💀
You make things more complex that's your entire point it's annoying
Family wreath
Everything is deep to me I prefer analyzing it. But, I guess that makes me weird.
Also like, saying navigator marriages are political is like saying politics have politics
Like yes, thats how nobility works, we know lol
It makes you weird when theres basically nothing to analyze tbh
What seems obvious to others might not seem obvious to you.
There is analytical minds that seek to better understand things, and theres analytical minds that fall into occams razors always
Analyzing stuff too much makes you sound like you want the attention
Navigator Houses can just be anything. They are left open-ended for homebrew purposes like everything in 40k.
Yeah apparently everything makes me want attention, when I hate attention.
I dread attention
I have taken 3 beggar navigator houses for my own and no one can stop me
Best part is you prob could
theres desperate Navigator Houses in lore nobody wants to do dealings with since they are too poor so lmao
Free navigator then for me.
You can go to the park and just take local poor navigators.

Just read Rites of passage smh
I want a deep conversation, but apparently nobody cares about that I guess. Because I am so weird. It would just be better for me to take my leave since I cause so many problems here. Not like it's the problem of anyone else.
Passage Deez-
Yes if you type something out like that in discord then yes
Its more that you just ramble so much and make no sense most of the time tbh
Finally some good news
Just pump the brakes
^
Not complex
Literally nobody here hates you dude lol
you are basically creating your own problems
This chat would be very welcoming of you if you didn't spam like five sentences in a row
Hey i spam messages pretty badly too

Yeah but you didn't link how nazis being scared of werewolves as like a good reason for them to inspire 40k
I grew up with skype and not rping in gaia boards writing paragraphs
Thats true
For werewolf to be in 40k or for nazi ?
I don't know man vivid said it ask him
Well there is symbolism, but I don't see how what I said was wrong. That they both believed in very mystical things. But, apparently I am the one in the wrong when the Imperium basically act like them. What's with the skull iconography and don't get me started on the aquila. And do you know who has a fascination with all these things. I'm just saying the parallels are too close to just be coincidence despite satire.
Inspiration for bad guys is quite easy to do, so.
Surr but putting Nazi in 40k isn't needed. They would be redundant
The Aquila is more like the Albanian eagle
Yeah the skull iconography is the only one I can see otherwise the Aquila reminds me more of Albania.
It's the Holy Roman Empire
Though the byzantine empire used these too.
Albania is the only modern country I can see that has that two headed eagle.
At least officially
Byzantine Empire and Holy Roman Empire aren't the same. Existed around the same time for sure. And was apart of Rome before, but it was not the same.
At least the regions where they were located was.
So the Imperium is more like the Byzantine Empire, then Rome. But, they still believed themselves to be Roman.
Its almost like
GW did their research
And had the emperor be like some sort of ancient anatolian turk or something
It wasn't a Turk.
It was the king of franks later on which they referred to the Emperor
That's the issue of two Emperor's though.
He lived through history and its not like he didnt recycle ideas and symbols
Historically there was two but it's confusing as best.
Also if i was a sculptor in the 80s a symmetrical symbol is probably easy to sculpt
So id choose a double bird thats like a triangle
there's just one God-Emperor my guy
I think Vivid is doing a historical lesson actually
Not lore wise, I was talking about history for a second.
Because the Holy Roman Empire is more Frankish, so it couldn't be compared to the Byzantine Empire. Two Emperor's of two territories that considered themselves both Roman.
The aquilla is entirely a fascist/nazi-esque symbol lol
Its angular, sharp and hostile looking, thats the point
Lmao
Hexagon bestagon
but yeah like, GW literally removed it as the official warhammer symbol and made it that hammer in the square
and lowered it from the front of their office
since literally everyone said it looks like a "nazi building"
so gtfo with your "albanian eagle" shit

Maybe but honestly that sounds like a Dark Eldar and/or Harlequins thing to do
i see
Patiently waiting for le updoot
can someone explain this?
Incest meme because they are siblings
Next question

who are they?
elves sadly
@hasty oyster
YOOOOO
Honestly doesn't look half bad
I love the tagline. "For workers, by workers, from workers"
ELLANIA AND ELLATHOR from age of sigmar’s lumineth realm lords!
Wizard melee knight combo
Only 50 years old, how scandalous
Oh that’s cursed
Man I really dislike the love triangle in gotrik and Felix with Ulrika
Dislike them in everything they are always weird and sad
Everyone knows Felix should sleep with Gotrek
Ah so he is depressed
Not everyone is going to be happy being alive isn't enough
It's hard to be happy when depression isn't just sadness, but hormonal too.
He sees sights no human ever will, gets to ride on|| an airship||, gets one the baddest women in the setting, though she is kinda…odd sometimes. Regularly gets other baddies in every book. And despite all that he faces he continues to fight on and WIN to see another day. I really gotta say if you ain’t high on life after surviving some of the encounters he gets through then it has to be hormonal
Admittedly, Gotrek is kinda a mood killer a lot of the time, however Snorri more then makes up for it, love that guy
Which ones
imperial guard armor and space marine armor
Guard vary, but the general term for most of the stuff they use is "flak armour", made of various ablative materials
Same idea as modern body armour for the most part, except blocky and more heat resistant
Marine armour is made of Ceramite and Adamantine
So it eats heat real good and is pretty durable
And if you mean what the Custodes use I forget.
Auramite.
And has psychic nullification abilities so a psyker would be destroyed by them.
Carapace isn't just ceramite, but a mix of armaplas too.
Ceramite and Plasteel, Adamantine is commonly found in terminator armour.
Adamantine fiber capes is common for captains
Spare no expense for capes
Really Adamantine Fiber capes?
damn the imperium likes to show off
Just wearing adamantine steel wool capes sounds pleasant.
Yeah its an addition for some captains
I think it was in the rule books
Like it gave eternal warrior or some thing
I dont know if its still a thing
Wasnt it in the rulebooks that the salamanders added firedrake scales to their adamantine capes to have fire resistance
Why do that when armaplas exists.
Armaplas is the heat resistant material that the Imperium commonly used.
Because Salamanders have their own culture and the firedrakes are common on their world, and theyre also not like everyone else and are allowed to bling out
Most space marines are not allowed firedrake hides because theyre not salamanders?
Have I missed a beat here?
I mean they're really outside the jurisdiction of the Imperium.
And really based on their leaders and as long they followed the Codex Astartes.
Okay youve made me lose the conversation i dont know what the hell we are discussing about now
Space Marines?
I dont think so
Im pretty sure i was talking adamantine capes
And space marine armour doesnt inherently have adamantine parts
yeah salamanders literally don't need armaplas because firedrakes are easy to farm in their world, literally why go through the problem of shipping in Armaplas when they can just get it in a nearby animal common in their world
So xenos are only okay if they aren't intelligent?
Because knowing how sadistic the Salamanders can be with xenos.
I mean then again jurisdiction is different for them.
I thought using anything from xenos was forbidden.
Firedrakes???
Are animals
Not sapient aliens
Sentient maybe
But not sapient?????????
their animals and not sapient, because if you kill literally every xenos then Grox which is an alien animal wouldn't be domesticated
the imperium can differentiate what's thinks and what doesn't think as good
They keep monkeys that are questionable if not more intelligent then humans.
It takes a decent amount of skill to do such work, and a intelligence. At messing with weapons.
How would you fucking know
Do you think everyone is just a gunsmith?
It takes a certain amount of technical skill, so uh.
Jokaero are not so subtly implied to be basically biologically made to tinker
And not much else
It’s hardwired into them
it is quite literally ingrained into them in a genetic level
They can communicate to some degree but they don’t really care
Yea like orc mechbois.
Yeah and most of the times they seem like they don't even understand what their power is like for example they will just make a gun out of nowhere or they will just change a ships thruster to **** with someone
Yeah they just instinctually upgrade stuff in random ways
It’s almost always beneficial but it’s not consistent
There’s cases of people asking them to fix specific things which they seem to understand but they don’t talk
It could be consistent to them, and technical skills aren't just something you learn over night.
Any interesting topics today?
Then there's the big red button which can make you go fast or blow yourself up.
Conveniently right beside each other
Really wish there was a Krork around to see his devolved descendants and be like. "Oh where did it go so wrong to become these tiny gits?"
There is prime orks but they do not come in comparison to Krorks.
Some orks were impressive but not to that extent.
it would be too disruptive for the setting so GW won't do that
Expect there was one like that he just isn't alive anymore.
Well they could try releasing a Krork or Eldari from the War in Heaven Era to rally their species.
Releasing an Eldar from the war in heven era wouldn't do much
that's end of setting level scenario, as the beast for example even though he is not a Krork just a Prime ork, is enough to increase the intelligence of every ork in the galaxy
they wouldn't be able to release their psychich abilities without uh
dying horrifically lol
yeah a krork is setting ending
Well there was more than one ||beasties||.
A krork is a tactician before he is a killing machine
yeah
yeah and one is enough to go toe to toe with a Primarch
also I'd imagine a krork would know how to work with wraithbone
now imagine something bigger and smarter than that
Not even Ork Kommandos are as scary as a Krork
And they're pretty impressive
Smarter then your average ork for sure.
Ork Kommandos are described as not normal in tactics
what you mean not charging a gun line?
yeah they sneak around
An ork is a simple creature they're not stupid
Well the Alderi killed them to establish their empire, yes? So may not be setting ending. Because the Necrons are still around. And you know they consider the Alderai and the Krorks as their enemy and such.
I mean ogryns aren't as helpless as people believe them to be either. They have enough common sense.
yes and the elder are severely weakened the point that they only have Craft worlds, they didn't have their old ability to summon their gods in the battlefield now and necrons are mostly still just sleeping
Bringing in a Krork even just one is enough to warrant the imperiums attention
It would be undeniably the smartest ork in the Galaxy
Ghaz is already giving the imperium a hard time and he isn't even the beast
Actually the Hive Mind is only limited to where it's fleets are at. The other thing considered Omnipotent would be the C'tan.
And they're shattered
Some of them are. Most of them are still alive, but eaten by one that is wandering the universe.
The Old Ones haven't even explained what happened to the rest of them.
And primarchs be reappearing.
They're absent in the picture, but that could mean anything in 40k.
To the C'tan? The Outsider ate all the others. Except the ones that are shattered and being used as weapons/batteries by the Necrons and the Void Dragon which is imprisoned underneath in Mars.
Yea and tainted by Chaos too. They yearn to kill from being imprisoned for so long and what else not.
Navigators aren't psykers then? But connected to a ship systems. At least not true psykers.
They are psykers. They just have a specific trait mutation/gene that makes them valuable for FTL travel through the wrap. Because they can see the Astronomican.
You mean that they have a monopoly on the Imperium and without them much like the Ad Mech the Imperium would be doomed.
Yes and no to the monopoly, because they are necessary evil to the imperial truth so they have power behind them, but not beyond or above reproach to the Imperium. Since they are rare and have to keep their bloodline "pure" after all with marriages to each other's Navigator houses.
Lorewise they aren't Psyker. Their powers work differently
They're assisted by psykers for sure.
But their power comes from their third eye less then the warp.
Though they are heavily mutated from the warp, and not just born like psykers to give them their appearance.
Psykers are accidental navigators are not.
Calling them Psyker is the same thing as calling all the different caster in DnD magician. All the powers are based on the Warp instead of the Weave but the method of accessing the Warp is different
And Psyker are a mutation that can happen anywhere, Navigator is genetic
Witches are unintentional magic users, whilst mages are trained to use said powers.
So it's just fine to call them psykers I see
I mean in fantasy anyways they're not the same one is just accused one isn't.
It's like generic vs brand very different things.
If you want to be simple about it.
For their mutations, warp taint is as relevant as thousands of years of inbreeding
Well to be honest they have the warp and inbred mutations.
The warp makes them look like horrific monsters that scares people or makes them uneasy. Not just the third eye scaring people.
It can go far as scaley skin and elongated limbs, to even more like horns.
I mean or like a third arm that grows off your body. Not just the 3rd eye they have.
If this was psyker or ogryn the Grey Knights would have executed them for that.
So the most elite anti daemon force in the imperium bothers with picking up random mutated people
Then again the life of a navigator is nothing but sacrifices, and giving away your humanity to allow travel through the warp.
But then again it's expensive to get navigators and hard enough to find one.
So, it would be purely stupid to have one executed.
Aren't the Grey Knights psykers prone to corruption though? A literal door way to the warp.
"nothing but sacrifices" as in most of them being filthy rich and spending their free time in coke fueled parties in their quarters
I mean yeah but they're constantly sacrificing their bodies to the warp, and getting mutated beyond recognition.
GK are all psykers and there's not a single recorded case of them being corrupted.
I mean I heard there was metals in 40k that fight psychic powers and devices that block it.
And I don't just mean tomes, runes, or anything like that.
The metal that the custodes uses has this one property
GK don't use auramite it blocks their powers too and it's super rare but ofc they have all the whatevers for protection
So they're just like the psykers that inquisitors use.
Sanctioned and trained precisely in a way that it makes corruption near impossible.
They're like space marine librarians made into a whole chapter
So the thousand sons but worse.
Worse as in?
That magnus is the most powerful recorded psyker.
Other then the God Emperor
Unless the Grey Knights are split off from that?
They're speculated as tsons v2 with bugs removed
So they're modified from the tsons and would make them better then?
With more stable gene seed from emps himself
Nope
They're initially handpicked from all legions
Would they be better then tsons if they're more stable then. Because the issue with them is that they weren't exactly known if they were stable or not.
I don't know if it was that Horus disliked them, or there was prior issues that they had?
Tsons?
Uh, let me summarize just a min
They were really unstable and prone to flesh change to the point of leaving only a thousand legionaries before magnus made his deal and lost his eye
Hence the name
Skipping council of nikaea
Magnus learned about Horus' deception and tried to warn Emps, blowing up Tera's psychic defenses in the process and causing imperial palace to be invaded by daemons and ruining webway project so emps ordered space wolves to capture Magnus and tsons
Horus interjected the order and changed it to execution
Then wolves burned prospero killing everyone and Russ shattering Magnus
Typing up a storm
Question. How would people react to a Human changing into a Xenos. Because of a warp anomaly or a psyker performing a ritual which causes their soul to be swapped with another's from within the Warp. The soul forces the human's body to slowly change who the soul was once before.
Badly. As in kill on sight probably
Instantly kill.
The Imperium is fascist as hell, theres no room for any "exceptions" unless it actively benefits them, pretty much everything they do is satirically evil.
they arent like you and me who understand morality in-between things at times, these people are born and raised to be entirely bigoted and indoctrinated
the greatest example of this exception is the navigators
They are mutants but since they needed to move around they keep them alive
also abhumans like ogryns, ratlings etc
literally only kept alive because they are useful in wars
yep
the imperium will break the rules like how bane broke batman's back when they are benefiting from it
like this, and people will still justify them
LMAO
I know the map, but which mission is it?
Ah ty
How about the other people of the Xenos?
Other people?
Searfinder Grillara
How long did it take for you to come up with that one?
3 seconds
new record?
No
Damn
The Alderai, Orks, and Tau. If the human was slowly turning into one of them. Except the Necrons, because they are all soulless.
Uhhh literally just kill/shun them probably
like it would be if IRL an animal turned into a human
in 40k almost every is racist for a reason or another lol
People kill people for saying the wrong thing
Turing into a living Necrontyr
^
TBF they're cancer patients anyway
Most likely fate lol
Waiting for this au
like they literally kill people in the Imperium FOR HAVING GREY SKIN
Oh thanks!
LMAO
me staring at the 3 veterans that decided to join my game ( it's so over )

I'm one
Thus you cannot lose
For my cousins niece's boyfriend works at Fatshark
I kill moebians for Dilaraturk

I'm going to make a guard army called the Dilarian Guard
Dilaran Witchfinders
Ohh Yeah that could be a good inquisitorial warband name
TRY ME WEAKLING

what
Who do you guys think will be the next Primarch to return after the Leon El Johnson? Jaghatai Khan, Leman Russ, Vulkan, Ferrus Manus, Corvax Corvus? Well I don't know about him, because his waiting for Lorgar to come out of hiding like a lil bitch he is from the ass whooping he got.
Your explosive charms may work on good artists, but I'm a bad artist
It's Fulgrim
Then Russ
I swear they will make Russ a Werewolf due to him being in the Warp for so long.
They mighg
Whatever makes people think its awesome and buys the plastic toys
I love plastic toys
Gw sells new product
Macragge crack
Of course with a pack of mutated Space Wolves too. He is no lone wolf after all he is the leader of the pack.
Halo Reach moment
Orkoid side effects
Would the Chaos Gods be weaker if they breached and entered Realspace? Because their true power from being in the Warp.
If they breached realspace it would mean they are already astronomically powerful at that point so no.
they dont call it plastic crack for nothing
snort that shit good
I tried it once the plastic didn't burn so good
The closest thing to that for me has to be a scented candle. Don't ask why I was very young back then.
me when nearby gas is making that smell
truth
My favourite thing about this joke is that the imperium has somehow trained and founded sisterhoods to be ready for primarch dicks
Like thats borderline insanity writing
i commend the sheer audacity of whoever came up with this
tbf thats not exactly uncommon for dimigods
TONIGHT ON BOTTOM GEAR
Apparently the list for the Adepitcon reveals have leaked
Yea not bad, really hope Abraxia is going to be another cool AoS centrepiece model
New GSC rules for Necromunda?
Apparently there was a mention in Ruins of Jardlan about a group trying to gain access to Necromunda Secundus to find relics, so possibly.
Yeah it was in the lore of the last book
the votann there also provide Lady Helmawr passage and make a pact
Although I'm curious about the "Votann Pioneers" in the Killteam box because the Votann already have a unit called Pioneers.
These guys
Im guessing its gonna be them on foot with more drip
Are Bonesplitterz knocked around and not treated well
Heard they're apparently good monster hunters but that's about it
No idea, I haven't really kept up with Old World stuff
Oooh stuff
Indeed, stuff
More kuronathi stuff is cool
do they have deer feet or human feet?
I saw some alt wardancers I liked apart from them having deer feet (I didn't really want fauns)
Depends
Kurnothi can vary massively so we won't know until they release pictures, but they can be born as completely normal Aelves or with bright red hair, then some are born with minor animal differences like antlers or claws and others are much more animalistic like Centaurs or Fauns
But why are you so concerned with their feet? 🤨
hes always sus like that

You are the target audience for all the barefoot elves I see
kerilian Allarielle skin
