In the farsight books the tau can still kill the khornate daemons with their guns, its just significantly harder
So we can still send a bolter round to exorcise then?
Well that's fairly true for every daemons. They fall under the rule of the Fae, where the old techniques of steels and faith are more potent than those of wood and black powder
Yes
farsight and brightsword is able to kill them in close combat far easier since daemons work on symbolism, and things like blades and mystic arts, are far more effective
they say this is why big E incorporated melee fighting into human tactics so heavily
exactly
You fight them metaphysically far more than physically because of how the warp works with belief
Generally speaking you have to fight fire with fire when it comes to daemons
its hard to kill khorne daemons with anything but melee, tough to kill tzeench daemons with physical methods, and nurgle and slaneesh idk
tzeenchian daemons will just fucking turn your bullets into bubbles and shit
but psychic attacks seem to work well if you're skilled enough
but that itself opens yourself up to a whole other can of worms
The best tool against Daemon is, and always will be knowledge, know the enemy, know it's weakness, and know your own hubris, and Daemon will never push you to your knees
Unfortunately in a setting like the imperium, knowledge is a rare luxury
blessed is the mind too small for doubt and all that
Wrote an artifact for my space marine chapter
Pledge of Cytax:
The official document of the Cytax system’s surrender to the Cytax Tyrants. It was Signed and sealed by the system’s governor minutes before his public execution. It is said that this artifact is protected by the souls of the two dead chapter masters who fought Cytax. Due to this superstition the First Captain of the chapter chooses to wear the document on their armor into battle. The Pledge of Cytax has yet to be damaged in battle.
Nah that’s hsut what Necromunda is like lmao
There are literal jungles of loose cables
^
My favorite is the oceans of sewer water
There’s a town that sunk lie 5 times floating on the sewage lmao
and?
Not even setting it’s basically every hu fee world
If I write an inquisitor I might do the minor ordos thanatos
Who’s purpose is unknown
Just going around ‘I am on inquisitor business’
‘Oh what Ordo?’
‘Thanatos’
‘What do they do?’
‘None of your businessm
Thats a pretty good running joke lmao
Inquisitor homebrewing in general is really very fun too
I should know I got 3 💀
Pretty much, but they share the same ammo source
Instead of having 2 separate ones
💀
I wonder if in 40k they managed to invent silent microwaves
So that a hungry individual in search of a late night snack need not wake the entire house
I thought microwaves made sounds on purpose
Then whoever decided that are a bunch of Bastards
Would have to be a Dark Mechanicus creation unless a xenos makes it I think
I'd join the Tau for a silent microwave
The Greater Good demands naught interruption of the other dwellers' sleep
Allowing me to microwave my icecream in peace
Microwave your WHAT
granny cream's hot butter ice cream
The goal isn't to make it hot, ideally it'll still be cold, like a gazpacho
So you don’t burn your food or something
Or forget
Hour good
Your food
Is guilliman being trapped in his armor still cannon?

Side note
Lion must fucking stank
Like primach bullshit that lets him walk after a coma
But he has NOT showered
Lion smELl Johnson
I apolfoize
Wiat showers exist in 40k
if you're on the lower class of things getting yourself cleaned is probably a dream but if you're in the higher ranks basically every single necessity we can get today you can get
I FORGOT
I was like ‘oh yeah space European knights’
I’m just saying I never seen a water boiler- wit
Wiat
Nvm
I’ve never seen soap in 40k
You played Rogue trader you pink megalon
they literally have a bath in the room
there's basically everything from this world is in the warhammer universe
Except human rights
but that's not important
The imperium can agree on that
There's barely human rights in the real world regardless
sadly true
kinda hard to make human rights important when all the nations tasked with enforcing them are massive violators
You can't watch Dr. Pimple Popper or the inquisition'll eye you though
How long was sanguinis defending the eternity gate
Technically it was months since he was leading the defense on that end
But for the famous final defense I think it was a day or two?
Can’t remember if it’s specified in the novel the length
So significant time to be I wouldn't say tired but more weary by the time he fights Horus probably making the fight more impressive
Sanguinius And Jaghatai, aint gonna lie, those guys defended Terra tooth and nail.
His biggest issue was he got wounded bad by Angron and couldn’t recover
It’s mentioned it likely would have never healed
Dorn also, but he probably overstressed his mental strength moving shit around
And he would have never been the same if he had lived
All the primarchs were stretching even their limits of not resting at all
Cant have Sang super regenerate, he would be too OP
He does, all primarchs do, the issue was he got stabbed by the black blade through the chest
Same reason the Khan almost died, they got hit by something even they struggle to heal from
Also for a good portion of the defense he had like what, Kwisatz Haderach powers where he could see shit before it happened
Sanguinis wounded still gave Horus a thrashing to the point he had to get juiced back up again
And people why everyone loves him lol
He was never in any danger, he just wasn’t trying, but Sanguinius was aware he was never gonna win probably
He just had to try regardless
Buy time at least
Yeah he wanted to fight against his assumed fate.
Thing was the Emperor wanted Sang to sit it out
(Sorry for spoilers)
It’s the core difference between Curze and Sanguinius, Curze fights for his visions to come to pass because he needs them to, Sanguinius ties to defy them even though he knows they’re probably still gonna happen
They’re very similar characters in a lot of ways just dark mirrored
Another thing I found odd, I wonder if Horus figured chaos would kinda just let him have the spoils if he won
There is accepting fate, but for Sang he wanted to Hope for better.
Whats that thing Batman said to Owlman in the crisis movie?
We both stared into the abyss, but you blinked.
Batgoat is so cold
It’s a core theme with chaos of them letting you think whatever while it manipulates you
It’s also how Horus basically “wins” in the end and it was the Emperor endgame option
I wonder what would have happened if Sang did accept the Emperors order to stay down and rest.
He basically gets Horus to realize he’s being used and let himself die
I was more wondering how horus thought he could just rule like the emperor thinking everything is dandy while chaos laughs and plays him
Would it be both Dorn and the Emperor dead on the Ship?
Hard to say
Would Sang and Guilliman finally go toe to toe with horus on Terra
The Blood Angels falling to the Rage did a lot to save the final bastions of loyalists at the end
It’s not clear if his survival would have made the emperor lose
The Khan, Guilliman and Sang fighting with their last embers to take out Horus
Only the emperor was gonna take down Horus
The Khan was out of action and would have died
Guilliman would have never gotten to the surface
Sanguinius probably would have been overwhelmed
But we don’t know
To be fair Horus had to make plans so that ultramarines and angels were far away when the fighting started
Yeah
Since obviously it didn’t happen
A lot of things to consider and knowing Black Library wouldve just gave us a bruh moment
The angels based on pure skill probably and the marines on just overwhelming numbers
“Uhhh, and the custodians opened up one of the dark vaults and sent a some macguffin monster and horus dies. The End?”
Wouldve just tossed the book out the window
The space wolves weren't at terra either were they?
No they weren’t there either
All legions had some dudes but mostly not no
Alpha legion BS right?
No Russ went after Horus
By thousand sons but I thought that was before
With his legion, a lot died, he wounded Horus which led to the legions splitting but then they had to dip
Yeah i cant rememver
Fenris has gotten attacked twice by the Tsons in 40k era
Yeah he shanked Horus and they retreated out of the fight then Magnus attacks them like 5 times after the scouring
Leman went on that "hunt" and left his legion to defend and what not I think
Horus Heresy has its huh moments, but I aint gonna lie.
I love when legions constantly just fight again and again
Its just slobber knocker after another
One thing I have an issue with with the lore is like timeline events
The way I've been learning the lore makes it seem like right as all the primarchs get found like a week later it's the heresey it's a bit confusing
Its weird and they dont fucking say it, but from horus to alpharius, i think its like a century or two
I think someone else here can pull the figures up
And the heresy is like a century or less after the great crusade
I’ll say this, im trying to remember how the rule books dates it.
It wont surprise me that the storybooks changed it all
So between each primarch it's let's say a few years and then towards the heresey it's a hundred year gap
But is the great crusade happening as he's finding them or after he finds them? It's confusing AF like I said making it seem it's happening the same week lol
Give or take I cant confirm, because it could legitimately be anythinf
Yes
I think, I could be wrong, Dorn was found at least 80 years before Sanguinius? Because Dorn was established and already respected, so before the trip to Terra, Dorn helped Sang with the protocol and etiquette
So he starts the great crusade but already has alpharius on terra and only he knows, finds the other primarchs as he goes along? Once they're all gathered he takes a step back from the crusade. Fulgrim gets the blade at some point yada yadda horus gets shanked
Am I in the right ballpark?
Because we also need to understand that, the thousand sons went from 1k to about 10k in numbers
Just about yeah.
After Horus found Alpharius ( or did he???)
All primarchs went on terra
Then the ullanor crusade happened
Then thats when Emps was like good bye everyone, Horus is warmaster
The big war with the orks happens before he finds the rest of the primarchs right? Cause that's when Horus is promoted
When I say Primarchs went to terra, i dont mean at the same time, they had to go back to do some bureaucratic bullshit
The council of nikea
This happens after all primarchs are united
Ooh alright
Nikaea also happens after ullanor
But we also know
By Ullanor, two legions are missing
Ullanor crusade, I don't think anyone's covered that yet
Some books talked about it
Fear To Tread opens with it
I'm going off YouTubers since I don't have access to the books
Fair enough
Remembrancer and isyander and Koda are huge go to right now
Let me double check the lexicanum about the timeline
So after primarchs are gathered the Ork war happens 100 years out from the heresey and it lasts idk how long, enough for Horus to be promoted and emperor works on webway then Horus stabbed and Downfall begins
About the years 29,550 the emperor works on the space marine projects
In 792 of M.30 primarch project begins
And around M35 is heresy?
Huh?
Its 2024, we’re in the 3rd Millennium
40k, is the 42nd millennium which is 41,120
Wait let me double check
Yeah
Like how we say its the 21st century
But its still under 2100
This is fucking with my head
Yeah…
Just when I think I'm doing great I get a fat nah
29,772 primarch project
And they get scattered across the galaxy
29,798 Great Crusade begins
29,801, horus is found
I guess when things happen around the primarchs it's kinda just like 10 minutes to them opposed to like 40 years
Damn that's confusing
29,981, Alpharius is found
So just about 200 years was how long it took to find all primarchs
180 years to be more precise
30,000 ullanor crusade is done, and Emperor says bye bye and makes horus warmaster
Some primarchs didn’t arrive at their world until hundreds of years after others had been found
Corax is an example
I thought alpharius was already on Terra and emperor knew he was but told no one
They didn’t all pop out of the warp at the same time basically and were younger and had much less time to establish themselves
Or was they omegon
Alpharius was
Omegon wasn’t
**** I forgot omegon was a thing
I just take Head of the Hydra mostly at face value since otherwise it’s boring as fuck
Technically you could say we don’t know if it’s accurate but
Fuck that noise
Didn't someone also so Horus was on his world long enough to be considered among its people and had to fake how they talk?
30,004, was when horus got stabbed
And the heresy officialy starys
He fakes the accent for example
And there’s conflicting reports on them remembering him being there, he was also found almost immediately
Literally 4 years after Ullanor, thats when shit hit the fan
Cthonia is very close to Terra
Yeah that's what someone said Horus was basically found immediately
Iirc it was Horus, Russ, one of the missing primarchs, then Ferrus then Fulgrim I think?
I’d have to check the one site
Dorn was also early
y'all think we're ever going to learn anything about the missing primarchs?
I doubt it
Wasn't Lion found like 5th?
It’ll never be satisfying
No
We only know “died out” and the other rebelled
speaking of rebellion. is the horus heresy common knowledge in the imperium in 40k or are most citizens unaware of what happened?
@unborn phoenix
He was pretty late
Sorta
Like in the middle
I think the heresy is more ancient history
Didnt they have like a mythological retelling of it
It’s a mythology yeah
A small group of current Marines even remember
All the loyalist primarchs are well known
The traitors not
Horus is known just as a traitor, the fact that there were nine traitor sons isn’t known
Primarchs were the Premier Saints of the religion
All the primarchs have holidays named after them and stuff
Of course now two of them are walking around
It varies how much they’re deified by populaces
there's a voiceline from one of the rejects in darktide that says something like "apparently the emperor was betrayed by his own son. that must've hurt!" but said in a way that made it sound like it was new information to the reject in question that they'd only recently discovered, and evidently not in great detail
I believe the Imperium at large only believes that only 9 primarchs existed
obviously the darktide rejects talk about shit they shouldn't know anything about all the time
To the imperium Guilliman returning is like Zeus actually being real to us probably
The traitor 9 arent known to them as primarchs
The Archtraitor
That too lol
Yeha
I do hope we'll get more on ferrus, he was kinda there for five minutes then killed like a game of thrones character
Its treat for us the players
But yeah the Heresy in general is known at a basic level
He no joke appears as ghost man a few times lmao
interesting
but makes sense
the traitor legions don't have any successor chapters so that should be pretty easy to hide/forget over time
The legion of the damned as their leader supposedly
Thought it was just Dan theory
Fan*
But the Imperial Religion is pretty maleable to a degree, its not impossible some imperial citizens know of rhe evil primarchs
ferrus manus as the leader of the legion of the damned? that's metal, I can get behind that
But they just cant say their names
The one that appears in the webway isn't him
Because oooh evil
It's also probably not the Legion
People are just stupid and get confused when two things are described as vaguely similar
There's art of the legion and the leader has a skull head if it's ferrus it makes sense since well his is gone lol
I don't think there's official art of those spirits on the webway lol
Well his body got destroyed
ADB isn’t conclusive on it tbf
So he cant be headless horseman
He just says he didn’t intend it to be that when he wrote it
oh right fulgrim kept his head or something?
It’s left open
Vulkan destroyed his body because the mechanicus tried making a frankenstein with the body
Seeing as Sangy meets Ferrus proper on the Spirit and he's neither headless or on fire
His skull was given to Horus
There was a moment apparently when fulgrim brought Horus ferrus head and his reaction was like "dude wtf" lol
Eventually Dorn retrieved it and it was given to his legion
It’s currently on Medusa
Guilliman gave it to them as a thanks for accepting the codex or something
Dorn literally having the worst time of his fucking life
Carried dead dad
Saw dead brothers
Had to haul dead brothers skull
He wasn’t having a good time
inb4 the skull bursts into ghastly green flame and somewhere in the deep reaches of the warp, the blazing spirit of ferrus manus returns to lead the legion of the damned once more
Dorns hand on display in a chapter fortress lol
Allegedly the spirit of Ferrus appeared on Medusa to his legion after Horus died
And said he’d return
Sanguinius coffin is awesome as fuck
Where did dorn go anyway
speaking of returning primarchs
what's the whole corax situation? he's back as a sort of warp monster??
A stasis locked coffin, in the middle of a metal lava sphere
Corvus spawn camping lorgar
Primarchs are warp forged, theyre never meant to be normal
true, I didn't
I solely believe primarchs were meant to have wings
hence my question
Not a daemon screwing up a demon prince is lovely
Warp forged, must be daemons hurrr
All the stuff he does is basically just Raven Guard powers but stronger
Like comment subscribe
And it’s been established all primarchs could unlock their potential if they wanted to
Guilliman is pretty sure he can he just doesn’t want to
There’s hints that Corax still visits Deliverance
But it’s not clear
He disappeared but I hope he's dead
All primarchs like Lion should have like an anti warp field
He’s never seen but obviously he can do that so
It's believed all primarchs have some sort of like ascended ability but the traitors won't ever reach it since they gave in to chaos and the others still have the potential and corvus just kinda reached apotheosis
It's not ascension or anything
Idk if that's the correct word usage oh well it sounds cool like I know what I'm saying lol
They are warpy by default
Much like how the emperor can deal true death, so can the primarchs maybe
It’s just unlocking their natural potential
They're all psykers to a degree
They’re inherently a perfect merge of physical bodies and raw warp power
I like how everyone is glossing over the fact, we said theyre warp forged by nature
They do some bullshit a lot
People like to pretend there's mystery behind it
But like, we're mostly aware lol
Nah man the primarch project
I said it was their natural potential
I think we’re all just agreeing lol
They literally got made in tubes with some@paychic bullshit
Basically
Their genetic donors were PSYCHIC freaks
Idk what the lion thing is idk if thats part of his potential or whatever
Lion can teleport
reading up on it a bit now and it seems like their physical bodies were just something that the emperor bound the warp-essence of the primarchs to, and corax managed to shed the limits of his physical body to embrace the pure warp within him?
They all can do some bullshit
It’s not entirely clear but yeah basically
Its somethinf that all can do, Lion inherently unlocked it cause when on caliban he just killed a lot of warp spawns
The main thing is they can all access that power inside them
He instinctively had the ability to become anti warpy thingy
I think only angron is the one that got severely weakened in that department because his brain was lobotomized right
Ye
Even he did some wild stuff
Angron naturally soothed and calmed people
Primarchs are just bullshit
He had an actual aura
Yeah but the brain lobotomy absolutely gutted that
Before the nails, his presence would calm the orphans to sleep
Yep, completely fucked his psychic potential
Angron has the potential to be probably the best primarch but it was kinda robbed from him
Ferrus tanked direct hits from Titan and super heavy weapons on Istvaan V, Angron squated and held a war hound foot up, Vulkan sled pushed Baneblades around, Sanguinius can fly even though it makes no sense that his wings work, Dorn forces reality to calm around him during a huge warp event
My guy got absolutely railed by an eldar patrol even though he saved himself forced to become a gladiator even though he could probably be the best diplomat to exist with proper training
Peter turbos thing was like seeing into the warp and understanding how things work or whatever that is
They all cause things which cannot and should not be able to feel fear, feel fear
He was genuinely in the making of a good person until you know it was robbed from him because the Galaxy is just that much of a bitch
to be fair to angron, his current daemon prince form is no joke
Khan genuinely moved so fast, he lived up to the name White Scar
Id hate to be around Dorn and his inability to lie
If you can make a sword by grabbing a steel bar and beating it on a demon over and over again then yeah you are horrifying and I do not want to be near you
Custodes in 40k had to stop and stare at guilliman, they were bewildered that they were supposed to protect him
Making a sword by beating the shit out of something is quite the power move
When guilliman just did everything on his own
mostly thinking about his ability to fly through the void unaided and tank lance shots from imperial battleships
that was very gnarly
Thats that Warp Juice babey
Ferrus is also the one primarch to fight bare knuckle the emperor and not go down in one shot like leman
Yeah one is watching him tear apart one of these with his bare hands and he goes “We’re protecting him?”
did anything else come of that whole event? when khorne stood up from his throne for a moment and instantly corrupted a whole imperial crusade fleet thing including sororitas?
He cut the galaxy in half technically
It corrupted the fleet but it hasnt really been advanced yet
and he's supposed to be the weakest fighter out of every primarch
really tells you how bonkers they are
Didnt the custodes also thought about making plans to assassinate guilliman and evetually said it was impossible
Tbh the idea of weakest primarch is a misnomer
He almost killed Angron after he had fought Lorgar
Alpharius almost kills Dorn
They’re all very capable of killing eachother
Lorgar and the alpharius omegon probably considered weakest
Sometimes some are at a disadvantage but it’s never a set thing
Some are a bit better but all of them can kill eachother
They’re always planning for all eventualities but the ones guarding him are not confident they could pull it off if they had to basically
The alpha legion twin thing is weird even though you could mistake kurze and corvus as twins probably
I believe it’s just one considering if they had to fight him how they would
And he’s very doubtful they could
Which annoys him
Was it something like
- even if we ambush him, whilst he’s asleep and naked, and the 5 best custodes are attacking him, its literally still a lost
His primary thing is he doubts they would actually surprise him
He’s always like five steps ahead of everyone
They said moloch could probably fight a custodes but that's probably just hype right?
Could you fucking imagine being in the presence of something like that
Regents Shadow showcases this well
Especially a custodes thinking that
Malcador?
No minotaurs chapter master
Oh him
Space spartan lol
Guilliman would pick up moloch and break his back
But he’s uncertain if he could take him which is a big compliment
And ask whats for dinner
From a Custodes Shield Captain
Id give tyberos a fair shake at a custodes but I wouldn't be surprised at a loss
I wish Wraight had let them actually duel a bit so it wasn’t just talk
Gonna be real, Tyberos is way overhyped
He has one big thing he’s done
He’s cool but people way over place his ability based off almost no real feats
Wym over hyped he has like nothing on gim
He’s not even that big, he’s a pretty average “big dude” CM
Also the idea chapter masters fight on their own
It's kinda annoying
Chapter Masters got gang shit
My point is people often put him as like, this amazing fighter
When he’s not really done much impressive stuff
I mean he can slam a dreadnought fairly enough
is he? I thought Tyberos was described as the biggest astartes of them all
He’s not
Silas Alberec is hige
The guy with Ventris is huge too
The art which floats around isn’t canon
The fat space wolf in the ragnar books too
the rule of cool indicates that he must be really strong
I love this art but he’s not this big
he should be, that's badass
You're just a hater I think
The lifesize statue GW had for a terminator was what 11ft tall?
Power fist, chain fist and power claws in one is the most metal shit
Space marines are around 8-9 ft tall?
He's average
You can say Dante over hype too
Haegr is actually described as absurdly strong
No because he’s done stuff
He has books where he does insanely impressive things
Silas Alberic from the Exorcists is what Ogryns were to humans
This is fanart but it matches his description in books
The chapter is evidently more I won't say mutated but more changed than most and tend to be larger than most other Marines anyway
Seydon from the Iron Snakes is a full meter taller than the average marine
So pretty fkn huge
True but still
Like Magnus being the tallest Primarch is cheating
4m is huge considered to 3m
you mean like a strongman?
Abnett also made a guard dude in Gaunt’s Ghosts 9 feet tall
He does what his dad does and uses his magic to make him like overly huge
I mean not even that, he’s legit just fat with muscle
He grew fat from strength
His organs had a defect
bragg? lol not that tall
Average marines are strongmen, that dude is a sumo wrestler
He says he’s 2 and a half meters tall
Sorry eight feet
And no this guy isn’t supposed to be a giant
Like a space marine
He’s just like, a tall guardsman

Abnett doesn’t know how meters work is my point
Fucking walking Cadian pylon
Was vulkan actually like 13ft or is someone lying
It varies I think 14ft is possible
12 ft is definitely the average primarch height
14 was Morty no?
Magnus was the cheatsy one
He was always described like lanky and tall
Vulkan by default tallest but Magnus makes himself larger
Like the emperor does
Vulkan was one of the strongest
Magnus was the tallest though
Because magic
Strongest was between Ferrus and Vulkan and it’s not clear really
Guilliman and lorgar are just medium height with Corvus a bit taller and kuze a bit taller than that
Maybe Angron
Sang is the widest
Sanguinis was stronger than angron
Not in raw strength
Sanguinis knocked down a bigger titan while angron got crushed
Sanguinius didn’t punch it down
He blew them up
Using his weapons
Angron squatted a Warhound stepping on him
Sanguinius was nuts though
It's fairly accurate without being ridiculous
It’s fairly close to what we know but it’s still ultimately fan made. But yeah it’s well done
Sanguinis gets like an extra foot because wings
A lot of people don’t know Russ was one of the shortest
really funny that leman russ is an angry dwarf
Basically yeah lol
I mean dwarf is loose term lol
Magnus is cheating no ?
Dwarf for primarch standard but not people standard
Yeah biomancy
I always thought kurze and corvus were same height and size
We just know the tallest and shortest mostly
Well not really Biomancy, just illusions, Biomancy as all other material change would still change how blanks see him
Peter turbo was always said to be big big compared to his legion
Ferrus, Magnus, Vulkan, and Mortarion are specifically said to be tall
His armor added more size but even then he was still huge
I always thought Dorn would be way taller but he just seems to be average
aren't all the primarchs big compared to their legion lol
I know but he's idk beefier?
His armor is
You'd think angron would be larger too
He always appeared the shortest cause he hunched
A lot of the primarchs armor are slim fitting like fulgrim and sanguinis or Khan
Angron has slim fitting armor too except that back piece and pauldrons
Fulgrim, Curze, and Mortarion are noted to be thin or gaunt by primarch standards
I have like the best showing of corvus body as my phone background
I love I guess he's not overly huge
Yeah he’s just average primarch build
Let's admire how beautiful this art is too btw lol
Vulkan, Ferrus, Angron and Russ are examples of a bit beefier primarchs
Not that any of them are lacking in beef
And as mentioned Mortarion was always thinner and more gaunt
Some are better cut beef
But Khan mentions when he blocks his hits it reminds him of Ferrus
With Magnus having as big muscle he has you'd think he'd be better at hand to hand but nope he's a mage
Looks can be deceiving
He’s not a slouch Russ is just really good
He still tears out one of his hearts
And Russ had doggy assist
Alpharius/Omegon are supposed to be the smallest of them all, right? Not thiner, but small
Yeah
Absurdly big wolves
Tbh it’s not clear
In the art dorn vs alpharius or omegon he's eye level with dorn
The main thing is they often made themselves appear to be the same size as their Legonaires
But as soon as they turned it off it was obvious that they were primarchs
Their legion was also a bit taller on average apparently
They are deceivers, they can do that stuff
Here they're eye level
Hmmm the perspective might deceive the height in here
It’s hard to say, the descriptions aren’t consistent but they’re not that much smaller if they are
People overstate how small they were, we mostly just see people seeing them with their “glamour” on
Yeah ofc, the height might differ in just a little bit
Daemon princes don’t count tbh
Probably not accurate height comparison since that is deamon prince magnus
Magnus could always make himself titan sized anyways
But I don't know if he's enhancing his height that much
Yup, not his original size
Stupid cheaty nerd
A lot, as far as I know
He still got the brakes beaten by vulkan anyway I think
Daemon princes are basically always described as way bigger than they were
Mortarion and Fulgrim are both a lot bigger in their new forms
Same with Angron
Angron probably being the biggest or second biggest
He’s a beefy boy
Maybe the extra height is compensating for something lol
Doesn’t compensate enough looking at his scoreboard
Even regular humans. I remember in Gaunt's Ghost they described certain characters as 2'5m tall or so
Like, normal people, commanders, not astartes nor chaos
We don’t talk about that
Abnett doesn’t know how meters work
I use freedom units
Legit it’s silly idk how he can’t realize it
He’s British he doesn’t even have the American excuse
Tbf though it was also early Abnett who did that stuff too
Lion isn't too tall either which is odd you'd think he'd be taller than at least Khan
Are you telling me that Gaunt was not almost 3 meters tall and an average soldier is not 2 meters??? Are you???
It wasn’t gaunt tbf it was one of the Volpone dudes
It’s so goofy though
He’s not even supposed to be like a giant
He’s just a tall dude
Right, Noches Sturm perhaps?
Aaahh yeah
He’s big but he’s not supposed to be like Bragg big
2 meters is probably reasonable ish
Big but not insanely big
Bragg is an ogryn according to Abnett lol
He basically is
He’s Ghosts Harker
Harker is basically just a smart Ogryn, it’s hard to stress how insane carrying around a heavy bolter like he does is
Marines struggle with that
The size issues on Gaunt's fucked me up and I had to struggle not to think of Larkin as a tall af guy
It's weird GW doesn't go in detail for like heights and sizes if things
Especially titans
They have more or less established heights now
But for awhile it was very inconsistent
Titans have pretty set in stone data in the Adeptus Titanicus game books
Sometimes they are the size of a bulldozer, sometimes they can be seen from outer space
But before the current iteration of the game came out they were pretty inconsistent indeed
What's the real, average height of a Titan?
All the titans have a blueprint of them like this in the rule books
Better quality image
Ok, so big, but not a walking hive city
Oh no, never that big
I love the thought move of an imperator being bigger than a mountain lol
My love of big kaijus and robots lol
Still big though
Yup, pretty big
But not ridiculous, it is fair
Too bad Imperator doesn't have one of these
The warlords have that cool knight helmet look
And imperator have a damn church on their back
Just as a quick question off topic of titans are sisters of silence trained in a special way or enhanced other than just being blanks?
They’re trained to focus their aura and use it
But no they’re not enhanced beyond that
They can make their swords ignite with a “blank” white fire for example
Among other things
Special enough to work along side custodes in the art
Why doesn't the emperor have a legit child the long way?
Too many variables?
I mean it would make a legit heir should anything happen
He probably felt icky about sex
Bruh I bet he packing a lemon Russ tank and he's gorgeous as hell why would he feel icky?
Reproducing by budding or spores haha
Well he did make test tube babies instead
I don't want to say something to get a language warning lol
So guess he just had tubes of gene syrup sitting around?
Look up Sensei
What
Sensei, in 40k, those are the descendent of the Emperor
Never heard of it before then again there's a lot I don't know
Old lore he did but they haven’t been mentioned in a long long time
Oh wait nvm someone mentioned them already
The king in yellow or whatever?
The King in Yellow is supposedly Valdor but yeah Sensei were this old plot of the emperors kids
I thought king in yellow was an HP Lovecraft thing
It is
It is
40k is steeped in Lovecraft
40k is also an expert in stealing names from very popular copyright free media
the Chaos symbol is not even a warhammer thing
Unlike the rest of the Black Library author
?
💀
Sanguinis is like this looks important lol
Not Kentucky though, I like her fantasy books
shes great
Which doesn’t work cause he’s using his spear which he didn’t have we know now
But it is still well done
The art where sanguinis is slipping and is going to impale Horus with the spear?
Love the eyes
Like he's slipping into black rage
Hopefully we get some more art of Sanguinius getting the shit beaten out of him soon

Also the lack of luster and stuff
A sanguinis hater? Didn't think that was possible
Dilara hates fun
Cringe
It is known
Theres more to 40k than just 18 man-babies who act like Marvel characters.
so no

Peter turbo is a man baby
Would take too long to post all the artwork 💀
Those sound like minor side characters for primarchs to stomp tbh
They do that enough ot themselves
But doesn't mean we won't do it

Primarchs have more or less bluntly poisoned the setting tbh
everywhere you go its just them
and ı say this as a 12 year long fan lol
Same thing we try to remind any SM fan that want SM-tide
I think the fanbase makes it about them I disagree that they really even show up that much, even in super recent lore
I feel tyranids are a cop out
Or Space Hulk
At most we get “Guilliman told so and so to go do this” for most recent things
30k has basically made them a focus point, and of course its the fanbase, who else will a setting's populace represent 💀
Well most of the fanbase doesn’t read this stuff really
Regular space marines make more showing than the actual primarchs
Especially for ferrus
And have shit takes on everything
It’s like Krieg memes and shit
Id go to a lore thread and rather not see a primarch question constantly
like lets see hm
heres one, lierally 2 posts down
lol
Aaaand another
I agreed people hyperfocus on them but that’s just the fanbase being the fanbase, it’s full of dumbasses or whatever
Kurze is an awful example to use
It doesn’t mean the setting reflects that, arguably the setting rarely reflects what the fan base hyper focuses on
He's fucked in the head
People talk about stuff like Clonegrim like they matter
All the Primarchs are tbh
they are literally genocidal warlords
some just act cooler than others
so you just pick your coat of paint
Hes also suppose to be a liberator
yet serves a literal fascist war machine
hes definitely a hypocritical Captain Genocide lol
You hate just to hate cause it's cool
They’re all quite genocidal
I mean no
Some more than others
Dilara jealous cause she aint a tall bio engineered demi god in armour fr fr fr
😔
Got eat more chicken and broccoli smh
I'd kill to be a demingod in armor
this is what primarch brain rot looks like 💀
It’s a power fantasy
Horus had the right idea
It’s fun on a surface level
Same reason our dumbasses fantasize about fighting in World War II or some shit
I can say the same about tyranids
💀
Yeah but that doesn't really change anything.
They got their own fanbase like anyone
An unstoppable tide that evolves to every and consumed everything and it's hopeless
How is that fun
As bad as being in 40k must be, and as bad as being a Psyker is, I think that's what I would prefer to be in said setting
Its just what some people like
Exactly
Probably because I don't get Tyranids shoved in my face constantly over the span of a decade in a long overrated book series.

But hey what do I know eh?
NOTHING
Tbf Nids do show up a lot
L bozo
Liking SM isn't wrong, but trying to push SM everywhere is where it become wrong, ad became a sore spot for most of the community
^
You are allowed to talk about space marines/primarchs but dont make it seem like they are this integral part to the setting
No no no, it was the tau who ruined the setting guys!
It's like going into a star wars community and having mandalorians/clones shoved into everything
Perfect example yeah
Mandalorians suck btw
Just being real, space marines weren't made in absense of xenos books, same with models, they were made to pay for them. Authors have talked about how xenos books didn't sell, no one wanted to write them. Even the book series.
Mandalorian are just space cowboys
Recently GW has made more of a push for certain factions.
The tau ah...ruined the setting because.....blue
Tau space commies
Yeah because people got no taste, yet now it was clear that there was always a demand for non-Imperial books
It's not inherently a bad thing because it's profitable and lets other stuff happen that's otherwise too risky
But their fans are atrocious
^
lol
and do not hit me with the
"all 40k factions have bad fans" thing
I literally banned more dudes here who are literal fascists with space marine pfps than anyone else

well I say "I"
I don't think I've seen any bad Eldar fan tbh
I mean they do but there's probably more toxic BT fans than toxic xenos fans in general
I like the chaos guys too except maybe grandfather cause well nasty
well I say "I" more like half the mod team
I've run into plenty of insufferable fans from all factions in my time so I don't recall care either way, people who suck suck.
Imperium apologists are still the largest concentration
none of the other factions go about shit like genocide being good
or that fascism is necessary
I also say this as an old timer granny fan lol
I'm not really interested in going down this dialogue tree again ngl, my point is that marine sell and ultimately are why we're getting all this other stuff now.
so shut up!
we all know

Stupid!
Rain being water isn't wet
The nekrons are cool too
Weapons that destroy at the cellular level op AF though
40k would be better if the humans all died already
No thats real life
so the KROOT can take over

KROOT SWEEP BABBYYYY
Bring back the krorks
Nah Dilara FUCK you. Life would be worse without people
cause then my homies wouldn't be around
and I like those guys
When humans hate humans the most in fiction
I DIE STANDI-
The type of people to get a Superman logo tattoo on their face
Could Warhammer fantasy take place on a 40k feudal world?
Well.... no....
It could I guess but it doesn't.
Magic systems are different
Its its own thing
Oh we're going through the script again?
Yes
Gods are different
We need a bot for these conversations
It would also kinda remove the specialness of Warhammer Fantasy
Script?
Yes
People ask this question a lot.
There's a very predictable "New person pattern" that I've only really noticed among new 40k fans specifically
Oh idk
Yeah it just gets old a bit lmao
Actually no it is a bad thing, you should be ashamed
I did only get into it late last year like middle last year
Basically both Universes have their own sets of rules which don`t apply one to another
yeah
it's absolutely quite ***** to make him work
I'm fairly sure I could make a comprehensive FAQ that covers 90% of the convos here and it'd only be like 4 pages of "People are stupid"
Calling me stupid cause I'm new?
"No kriegers don't use shovels as a melee weapon most of the time"
No
?
I'm saying there's lots of misconceptions that are fed to new people because people are dumb and can't read
No its just common community misconceptions mixed memes and not reading any source
"But soviets used them"
I didn't see any memes about it

We are just saying that a lot of people that are quite dumb come here often thinking about stuff they know more about warhammer even though we have like a fan here who's been in this setting for like 12 ******* years
Well see that's part of the problem, half the community doesn't distinguish memes and lore
Trust me you are doing pretty well compared to like 90% of *** **** insects we have encountered here
Feel free to stop being a hateful ass dilara
There's just like, a lot of misinformation which gets peddled is the main thing.
Warhammer community has lot`s of memes made without knowing the lore or by twisting it
yeah
Like Krieg and Degeneracy about Shovels
I didn't do anything lol
Krieg is an easy one to pick at.
Before I got into 40k I never saw any memes only like fan animation stuff of kriegsmen
It's majorly just casual imperium fans shitting on other factions with reductive nutshell descriptions
Not only imperium
I played vermintide 2 way back but had no clue what Warhammer was
Sorry I forgot the two chaos fans who have unironic chaos shrines in their homes
For the Dark Gods
Community: "Corax is back as a daemon prince!"
Source: Logar said "Its not a daemon."
Then I started watching lore vids from 40k theories
You forgot to add the part that people think Lorgar is a useless pant-shitter whos deathly scared of Corax.
What ? No I don't have one
Yet
Or common misconception about Orkz that just thin stuff is working and it`s works
And is currently active and not, in fact, sitting in his wtower
Or that Corax is somehow still going after him 10,000 years later.
Something-something
Orks can bend reality
to be fair on this one at least GW's way of saying and explaining how the Greenfield works isn't the best
Then I went to wes hammer and major kill
oof
boy
