The story for the first Space Marine 40k movie doesn't really matter. Just cover a big fucking battle, make sure it looks extremely dope, and you've hooked the audience. Then you hit em with the Eisenhorn premium series, getting deep into the guts of the setting with real characters and plot. Then you can go a bunch of different directions. And eventually you adapt Horus Heresy as the next MCU
