Good novels doesn’t necessarily mean good contribution to 40K. Imagine the greatest story you can imagine in 40K, but completely changes things, like it changes to Tau to be an ancient civilisation and Necrons to be future humanity that is time travelling to the past, but the story was written so well it is undeniably the best piece of fiction in its own right among the entire publication

The Ecclesiarchy still has a presence on Necromunda, that's never been challenged, religious infighting happens all the time. They don't care as long as everyone adheres to the Imperial Creed.

Necromunda also has a convent of Sororitas from the Order of the Argent Shroud there but they don't also interfere with the populace as they got better things to do, same with the Imperial Fists.

The Mechanicus does not care and the Planetary Governor of Necromunda has a ton of leeway and has hid connections from the wider Imperium in the past because Necromunda is an extremely valuable world, the STC's secret is not known by anyone and the Van Saar are smart enough to hide it through various means, we are talking about an entire gargantuan hive city, nobody is gonna find it.

You need to realise the Imperium is not a connected/well informed group, everyone is a scumbag that hides or censors secrets and murders each other lol

Cause I see people say this a lot but I never really hear of a time when it apparently was good, its ok if you don't like it, its not my thing either, but you don't need to be a slave to GWs rules or changes.

Its super easy these days to just go back to older editions or whatever and play with those rules.

Or ignore certain FAQs or whatever.

For casual play at least.

i see this from english people a lot. they dont get that outside the UK it's very hard to find people who play 40k nearby
