Ya that's also mentioned in the darktide items lol. They still very much hate witches. Might be a tradeoff for being somewhat safer from daemonic possession, being employed by fanatics, many of which wouldn't hesitate to kill you. I guess the latter is the norm for most places psykers go in the Imperium.
