She's called a kid
Oh okay
But I think it's more symbolic or something stupid
But yeah you'll uh
Hear about her antics soon
(it's not pretty)
She has a warped sense of view and understanding of people
the fact that she is a navigator and also the fact that she has been quite spoiled in her life
||okay but she still passively forces people to kill themselves and feels absolutely no remorse over it lol||
Yeah this is warhammer that is the unfortunate part of liking a noble
checking her chart she is dogmatic too
Did you guys ||kill the defective servitors||?
as a Iconoclast yes
Iconoclast/dogma is a pretty thematic not too comically insane imperial run
Can't wait to do heretic though
Are power greatswords a thing in 40k? is Rinda Karnak using a special sword of any kind?
claymores are
power claymores are a thing
But yes you can make a custom power great sword but with the Rinda I'm pretty sure it's just a power sword
Power anything is a thing
The shape of the weapon doesn't really matter as much as the power... field... thing
Yeah
gotcha
Hey I'm looking for what I suspect would be Tzeench heresy, what would I look for and more specifically how would one go about making an offering to Tzeench for power
You draw some fancy runes
Get a dubiously consenting sacrifice
Chant some shit about the grand design
And you split open his chest
Specific details vary, but sacrifice is stupid common
Ok so her long nails, is that like skin or something?
I feel like those could be trimmed if they are just regular nails
Precision itching tools
Lol
I'm trying to be as nice/forgiving as possible during dialogue, but sometimes I like to pick the mean choices lol
Just told the Pilot Raquel to name her first kid after me for ||saving her husband or whatever||
I'm using a character ai out of boredom of hadron and she knows of necromorphs
Curious
I mean almost
They also corrupt via a signal
Plus necromorphs are extremely durable
crazy to think that this is a small ship lol
40k loves its giga scale
I remember when star wars had an enormous ship and it was described how its size made it more of an problem
Meanwhile 40k has ships with their own micronations on them
Yeah being literally born in that ship makes you into a different type of human
Imperiums ship are all sorts of wack
"yeah we reload out macro cannons by hand, what of it"
||Her brother||
there are 27k people on board just my ship i dont want to know the crew complement of the largest ones
10 probably
lol
Wait is that guy really her brother. Why did she say they were engaged
they are
Yeah you know the classic justified selective choosing of genes
i dont think they are brother and sister. might just be tho given 40k
If it makes you feel better
theres people in 40k that name their kids after Leman Russ tanks or Guard vehicles

"How was school today, stygies VII leman Russ?"
Hey Dilara can you tell me what I did to deserve this
I speed dialed tzeentch to pull a prank on you

no Ai
Man these ai generations will always be same garbage won't they
it's one of the server rules
I think we are one of like, 6 people total who actually read rules
Probably
||clearly you didnt pray to the god emperor hard enough. or maybe too hard||
All right that's it i'm pouring salt in the golden throne
lol
It does seem weird to me that rannick would pass up an opportunity to assassinate the 6th command so flagrantly
not having a prow lance is gona be intersting
His whole argument is if we fail, moebian 6th morale will skyrocket
I think he doesn't like how haphazardly it's planned, even though he absolutely refuses to hear Zola out
On that note Zola says she's acting with Grendyls permission
Zola has some personal vendetta with wolfer
I think this might be what the psyker alludes to when they say she's hiding something without realizing
Her plan is flawed BUT, the gains from success are immense
If Rinda was captured it would be an even bigger win than just having them both dead
Both from Intel and morale viewpoints
"huh? Our champion got captured by meat?!"
He doesn't like it because it's a trap we're walking straight into
Wolfer finding out that two of his greatest generals got beaten by semi functioning semi sentient humans is going to be funny
He mentions morale being his first priority in the mission comms
That the inquisition has worked hard to lower 6th morale
Which is why he's so worried about the rejects dying
Ye, and wolfer wouldn't shut up about us walking into an ambush
Not because they aren't disposable, but because their deaths would be used as propaganda
Him calling us disposable was lowkey funny when I heard it
"Well yeah, you guys are basically dead meat but I am graciously saving you" vibe
hes not wrong
What do you think zola's connection to wolfer is?
The most like, basic one we have is "He was my charge and I let him slip away"
since his escape happened under her watch and that had to affect her
She hasn't really given us any indication of anything else even in her journal aside from her absolutely loathing them all
I'm thinking there will be more in the future
from her accounts Wolfer is really good at hiding
I have a feeling she underestimates him because how he uses Karnaks as proxies of himself
Another angle at Zola and Wolfer could be mayhaps her desire to prove herself to Grendyl
Remember, Grendyl wanted Wolfer personally, which to me seemed strange considering there were other captains
And Zola probably feels indebted to Grendyl for lifting her out of the squalor of her previous life
There is still the unseen hand of Dreg leadership
I'm convinced that Wolfer in the long run is still a pawn, even in his status
Every Chaos Follower is a pawn
And every Servant of The False Emperor is also a pawn

Yes but we're talking the Moebians not chaos as a whole
Wolfer and crew didn't just randomly flip on their own
Flashbacks to lord Bael and Sindri
That's the kind of deal I mean
That's 100% an angle since he got away under her watch
(for those who haven't played dawn of war, Sindri was a chaos sorcerer who manipulated a chaos lord into getting his goal)
We discussed last night that Wolfer could have been used for imperial propaganda broadcasts way back
And that he may have been a role model/hero to Zola
SINDRI, SINDRI!!!!
That's very plausible, considering the 6th are portrayed as the best Atoma had
Man that was one of the greatest screams of betrayal
SSIIIINDRIII
And we see that Wolfer is very fond of spectacle/propaganda
Yup
So I'm kinda liking the "former hero of the imperium" angle
I am curious, are the other 2 ships for Rogue trader to choose from DLC content or we unlock them through new game after beating our first playthrough?
for someone so secretive he really does like his grandeur
He straight up hacks into the vox just to smack talk your team
And then he goes silent when you smack his captain silly

They definitly not
also about this
"THERE'S ONLY 4 OF THEM, HOW ARE THEY NOT DEAD"
We know their high command also went traitor
Moebian 6th might launch retaliation strikes either trying to decapitate Loyalist Command or bring havoc to upper Hive
There's someone in the hive population, pretty high up I believe, that's working with the traitors
Some of the nobility, it's pretty plain
High up because I'd say prismata crystals sound like a very expensive payment
One is a beta reward, the other is DLC
Couldn't find any description on them
Nobles are the most obvious angle
We did hear that there's growing discontent with Lord Margrave
This is such a good accessory in Rogue Trader for Bolter and Bolt pistols builds. Not so much for Heavy Bolters due to their lower single shot damage but Heavy Bolters are more for their Burst fire rather than single shot attacks.
and once you activate Soldier Heroic action, it is just murder fest from there
it turns Argenta into a god of death
Shame that thing won't help me with this thing
I have my Argenta as a flamer unit to deal with large groups of weaker mobs and later Heavy Flamer once I progress the Church faction and obtain enough profit
my character ends up being the Bolter and melee weapon/bolt pistol user
But what if you neeed them for the next fight. Better to save.
"this resource is rare, better make sure you make it count"
"Never use it and hoard for all eternity, got it"
"Wait no-"
"All. Eternity."
yeah i'm guilty of that
My brother in Christ what I'm fighting right now needs all of the Med kits I have
Red medkits aren't even that rare though
BUT WHAT IF YOU NEED IT LATER
Compared to the normal Med kit they are pretty decently rare enough but then again I have a planet that makes these things
Another chaos cult
Nids are an entirely different scale of threat than a cult/regiment, a single ship has no chance against them
Potentially GSC can work
Goliath truck = GSC confirmed
Obligatory

I don't really think we'll be getting a whole new faction any time in forseeable future, nor do they really need to, there's plenty of material to add to scabs and dregs
where’s that one cursed bike from the new map
someone screenshot it
looked like something tony stark would drive out of that cave
NOOOOO THE NAVIGATOR CHIN
So if 40k is supposed to be satire of cold war britain
Cadia = northern ireland
Ogryns = ppl from Birmingham
And so on
So are catachans Aussies, gurkhas, or canadians?
40k is a huge mishmash of random garbage
My character has a longlas and a sword bigger than her body. She stays on the back line with Yrliet and I headcanon she's flirting the whole time
I would say aussie tbh because catachan has hostile flora and fauna whereas gurkhas and canadians just have harsh environments australia is full of things that can very easily kill you
Of course but like
Just to try and relate it
Catachans are a product of the time they were created in
The macho post-vietnam action commando archetype
Think Rambo, Predator, Aliens, Apocalypse Now, etc
40k started out as basically parody of popular action and sci-fi at the time of its inception
So from a meta context, catachans are less analogous to any real world military and more analogous to the cultural zeitgeist idea of macho jungle commandos
you start off rich in rogue trader, the currency system is basically rep
you dont "buy" stuff
with high enough rep, factions basically turn you into an influencer wearing their supreme drip
Profit factor is mostly a gameplay mechanic
But the intent is that you're so rich that the cost of a single item is entirely irrelevant to you
I like it it means that i don't have to worry about losing money when i just go for a shopping spree for the things i want
And increasing it is also pretty easy
It's also fun to balance it if i want to lose some of it or earn some more
Nope, works quite well tbh
It feels very ego boosting too knowing that you are so god damn rich that you can just take what you want
You have a level of profit
Anything equal to or below it you can just buy
You don't even get money for selling things to the factions, you just get reputation which makes them more willing to sell you better gear
I really want those Drusian power armours
Oh fuck
Why is my save not working
Man my rogue trader saves are gone
Warp tribulation
yeah i'm just going to start a new game
i wasn't even able to make a new game till I validated the files
You ended up dead center of a warp storm with gellar down
It might be the patch that just dropped
Kinda like how drip channel is having an apocalypse atm
ohh yeah definitely
Bad tidings for my save
Yeah if I were you validate the files first before opening it
This would be lovely if I can draw shame I can't
Go AI drawings
Now i might be a scum but i'm not that much of a scum
when's the patch?
Chatgpt to perfect midjourney prompt for your character 👌
Okay.
I'm at work. And I'm very bored as it's my last day before the holidays. :v
And because of that, I'm going to open up a can of worms and talk about Queer Theory and 40k involving Psykers.
Mind you. I don't think this was intentional....Or maybe it was? (40k started off pretty satirical.)
But I've noticed a lot of interesting parallels over the years.
Your born different then everyone else and this becomes apparent roughly at puberty. But sometimes you know earlier that your different. Or maybe you don't find out for decades. And this effects how everyone sees you and completely upends your life.
Your raised in an hyper religious society that preaches and teaches conformity and how your particular marginalized groups are inherently evil and dangerous to good ordinary folks. And the average person believes this all wholeheartedly and despise or at least distrust you.
Your seen as a threat to society. But if you can be shown to be useful to society you can sort of exist on the margins but sometimes you have exceptional individuals who are able to acquire significant respect and authority, enough that society more or less gives you a pass and many times these individuals persecute others.
Darktide also has Psykers refer to each other as Siblings and form a community based off shared experiences and suffering that ordinary people can't begin to understand.
A handful of novels that have had a bunch of Psykers show them as a bunch of quirky, often flamboyant and sometimes socially awkward weirdos that mostly stick to themselves.
Or struggle and are desperate to fit into groups of 'Normal' people and prove themselves worthy of respect. (And sometimes find it in socially superior groups like the Astartes who lack some of the ideological baggage sometimes...)
Oh and suddenly there are a looooooot more of you showing up and society is freaking the fuck out and panicking about it.
Thoughts?
Definitely a bundle of words that can be read
It is a take
Thaaaank you. :3
So in rogue trader, what do you have to do to stop the reactor from exploding? just kill all the enemies in the allotted time?
The electro priests that are near those things
F*** them up before the reactor explodes
ah ok
It's a super generic backdrop of mages being scrutinized in fantasy. I wouldn't read too much into it but it's a good take.
Oh it definitely is. But it's still interesting that so many stars happen to line up.
I mean psykers are walking bombs, id be a bit cautious about them
The psychic awakening stuff sorta made it click for me.
Since it mirrors society going, "There aren't many of the 'Gays'." To suddenly.
"Where are they all coming from?"
Cue panicked articles from social conservatives and religious fundies screaming about the end of days.
Shrugs and points to Marvels Mutants.
Also another point is that the danger Psykers represent is not nearly as serious as Imperial propaganda says. (What's that sound like?) And societies maltreatment leads to horrible horrible horrible outcomes.
The danger they represent????????? They can doom worlds if they give into the whispers

Yeah a psyker can (unwillingly) become a portal for literal demons
A psykers power varies between individuals, but they still pose a significant threat if not found and properly examined/trained
It's the principle of better safe than sorry
As cruel to them as it is
we don't want a repeat of that whole enslaver buisness
So yeah, let’s conduct a witch hunt
That's a vanishingly rare and small percentage of Psykers that can pull that off. And honestly? When's the last time we saw.
"Single Psyker dooms entire planet to Damnation."?
Rarely but I wouldn’t take a risk
Better to get them killed or get them on a Black Ship
Yeah if somebody had the potential to turn my brain into mush with a thought id be understandibly terrified of them
Also I'll point out that the links aren't perfect but the same could be said of Marvel Mutants that were supposed to be represent marginalized groups.
Still Psykers are way more dangerous
Their 'dangerous' but the danger is generally overstated and over hyped. I can't recall any story where.
"Single Psyker Dooms Entire Planet!"
And still they are capable of mass destruction
And also there were some stories about psychic blasts killing millions
People panic about Psykers, but how often do people panic about Adminstratum officials being able to kill entire regiments or planets because they filed paperwork incorrectly?
Like?
Cacodominius
Plot of Animation series about Inquisition Explicator
The Alien Cyborg Monstrosity thing of which theirs only one? That only shows up in a single blurb and has never been mentioned ever again?
||The plan was to produce a drug that awakens psychic in normal individual, than kill them and via this achive a massive psychic blast which will sweep out any life in the system||
Yes and? You asked for an example and that was the first one i thought of
And thaaaaats?
Except.
- Not a Human Psyker.
- Not an actual Story. It's a blurb from a codex.
Interrogator Series
Interesting, but I haven't seen it. And the process seems to be artificial and more of a WMD thing.
Not.
"Random Psyker that Awakens in a Hive City wipes out all life on a planet."
That happened all the time during the age of strife
chaos is more insidious than "overstated". a single psyker can unknowingly get influenced by daemons and cause corruption to spread to others, making the warp connection even stronger with each step. it doesn't have to be the catastrophic nuke but just the first point of an avalanche.
The systems the emperor put in place helps reduce the risk of psykers dooming worlds.
not to mention they can actually blow up too
Also to reiterate my point. I'm not saying that Psykers don't pose a risk or danger.
But that the actual threat for overwhelming majority of Psykers is massively over hyped.
We never actually SEE Psykers that strip life from planets because they lost control for a moment.
And just because they arnt constantly doing that doesnt mean they cant
Psyker being able to read mind and throw lightning bolts
also a plausible target for elimination
Arguably the Imperiums practices make the threat that much worse.
Throwing a bunch of Psykers into an Ultra Max prison for years or decades till a Black Ship arrives probably does more to make them dangerously unstable then anything.
even for the most disciplined ones, they still borrow power from a wildly unstable plane with direct connection to multiple hells
Literal hell in ther ear might be making them unstable
Except we never actually see that happen. I can't recall a single novel where we see a Psyker strip a world of life. Or blow up a hive City or doom an entire planet to Damnation.
It's talked about happening but I'll be damned if we're actually ever given any serious examples.
And we oftentimes see plenty of Unsanctioned Psykers that while more dangerous then usual also aren't out there exploding and killing everyone.
Psykers are mentally deranged wizards, not world destroyers, that's the difference
I mean we don't see that in stories because it's not a very good climax, it's why we only see it in the Blurbs of the Codices and other lore tidbits as something that happens, because if you have a book and suddenly "Then a Psyker got upset and everyone died" it doesn't really make for a great ending.
THIS
If a Psyker supernovas and kills everything, that's the end of the story, well done you just wasted the readers time.
The only way a psyker can do massive damage to an area is if they peril, and that's unlikely unless the psyker in question is underpressure and uses their warp connection too much for too long
The immaterium, like all other realms of the universe, holds no innate spiritual predilections at all, and the raw, Chaotic energy of the empyrean can be no more hallowed nor corrupt than a given sea wave or breeze. And yet, unlike the ocean or sky, the fabric of the immaterium is inevitably, inextricably shaped by the moral composure of the souls that access it.
And thats coming from a Priest at a Psykana Temple.
‘In the best of cases, the empyrean, accessed by a mind resting at peace within the Emperor’s will, produces wonders unbelievable to behold. In the worst, when given to a mind under torment, that same power takes on another flavour entirely.’
Controversial opinion time. :v
The Codices are flawed and are usually written more as Advertising for this 'Totally cool thing' that frequently will never ever ever be mentioned ever again and doesn't mesh well with stories that we do see.
Psykers’ formidable mental powers channel the raw stuff of the Immaterium – the very essence of daemons and gods. Should their discipline waver for even a moment, they risk a grisly, explosive demise … or worse, possession by the unspeakable entities of the Immaterium.
Gw has flaws writing in general
That's the art of tabletop RPGs, you can literally write your own story within the narrative
Straight up from Darktide Class Spotlight
Shrugs
I don't see anything about blowing up hive cities there or dooming worlds.
Shurgs
Guy just basically can be possessed by a demon
Oh my fucking god, just cause they arnt constantly dooming worlds doesnt mean they arnt a threat. Get your head out of your ass
doesn`t see anything wrong with it

If they don`t doom worlds so much, they ARE STILL A SERIOUS THREAT
"‘There are no safe havens within the torrent of the warp, acolyte, because there are no incorruptible fragments of the human soul."
"And while the source substance might be spiritually indifferent, the resulting symbiosis certainly is not."
If you're going to use quotes to support your arguments, make sure to include the parts of the quote which don't.
Them being able to manipulate the warp is one big no no in most cases
Weirdboys are more of a threat than a normal psyker to be fair
It does. Hence my 'Controversial Opinion' :v
The Codices will do stuff like mention that Super Alien Cyborg Psyker Monster thing that triggered the 'Howling' that wiped out like an entire sector of space and killed 'Billion' of Astropaths.
And was never mentioned again.
Even though the amount of Astropaths killed should have caused a massive collapse of the Imperium given they could never restock that many Astropaths on top of mundane attrition.
Nuh uh
They are comparable to unsanctioned psykers
And it's literally never mentioned anywhere else ever but for that ONE blurb in a timeline bit in one codex from like several editions back.
I mean its a weapon you can equip to a black templar
I never said they weren't a threat. I did say the threat is over exaggerated by the Imperium.
Weirdboyz are so stupid and unpredictable that they'd probably cause more destruction to their own ork brotheren than the people they are fighting
Which makes sense for the Imperium to do.
Most orkz do the same
Because they want Planets to turn over all their Psykers for the Imperiums own purposes.
Better with the imperium than the dark gods
and because you can`t train all the psykers
and eventually someone may go haywire
and doom others
Most planet will just lynch the Psyker they find if there werent the Black Ships
Yeah. But how much of that is because Psykers are just because their Psykers and how much of it is because the Imperium is a brutal authoritarian state with many planets having shit quality of life?
And who will lock a bunch of Psykers up for years and decades, treat them like garbage.
It`s both
And then put them on the Black Ships which are WORSE.
For a voyage that can last years.
At least they cant hurt people or spread corruption in the black ships
They are still interacting with literally daemon matter and them being menially unstable makes it only worse
||In Rogue Trader game one psyker revolt and turned Black Ship into literal Nurgle Garden||
Spoilers to RT Game
But the point is you put a bunch of Psykers in a situation where their being pummeled with disorienting stimuli, surrounded by Blanks that cause them anguish, beaten by the guards, are surrounded by hundreds or thousands of other Psykers who are panicking, afraid and in agony, given all sorts drugs and subject to stuff like sleep deprivation?
Walking bombs, having a blank around is like dipping the fuse in water
And then you get to Terra and are surprised some of them are catatonic or rendered into human wrecks.
And also makes Psykers feel pain, disoriention and discomfort depending on how Blank they are.
And if they arnt found by black ships they are burned at the stake
At least this way they might prove to be useful
The thing is you're right, the way the Imperium treats Psykers makes it worse because the Imperium is awful and it makes everything worse, but that doesn't mean if you just leave them to their own devices everything is sunshine and rainbows and nothing bad happens
And like I said. This trauma is piled on top of the Trauma of being held in detention for emperor knows how long.
And whatever they had to deal with while living in the Imperium. (So a dice roll between major suck or okayish.)
Also people forget, you don't have to be a psyker to doom entire sectors and imperial worlds to chaos.
Planetary governors, militarum leaders, priests and other imperial officials do this constantly, power corrupts in all forms, psykers are just one among many of these to showcase the imperium creates its own issues.
Nothing the Imperium does is suppose to be logical or defendable, thats kinda missing the point lol
I also didn't say just leaving them to their own devices was the ideal.
Once again my argument isn't that Psykers are totally safe.
Just that the threat they pose is over exaggerated or a product of the Imperiums maltreatment.
Pretty much.
Literal Cardinal Xaphan moment
This lol
And yeah most psykers go rogue because of the mistreatment
the Imperium's point is that it will ALWAYS shoot itself in the foot
I mentioned an argument like that earlier. :v
Who cares, if you can put them down in time?

An Adminstratum Functionary could do infinitely more damage then a Psyker.
yes but you could deal with Psyker easily and you see Psyker doing harm
with Administratum being mostly unkown till the end
Hello Watcher in the Rain
"Whoops. I accidentally sent a dozen newly founded guard regiments into the biggest meat grinder in the sector and forgot to have food and ammo shipped with them."
Are people saying the imperium is justified in one of it's oppressive functions again
CORRECT

That's one example. :v
But 15 Hours is another. :v
Reminder that she literally did all that because she could
First time was an accident. :v

Everything after was some fucked up serial killer shit.
first time
pretty much
instead of knives and physical damage though it was all clipboards and writing
fucking psycho bitch lmao
Someone get me up to speed
The Watcher's main known ability is that it acts as a mirror to the blackest deeds in one's soul: it is drawn to human sins and stalks those who have committed heinous acts against their fellow man. Its physical presence is subtle at first, always just barely out of sight, but it brings with it an inescapable dread. Patient and sadistic in its pursuit, it steadily comes closer, causing paranoia, fear, and madness, It will urge its victim to look at it; if they comply, the victim will be confronted with the full weight of their crimes and their sanity will completely break. The Watcher will then claim its mentally shattered prey.
To be fair losing an imperial world because a psyker decided to be edgy and take revenge is a pretty common occurrence
And a good chunk of the time i don't even blame them
I opened up with an argument of.
"Psykers are actually kinda Queer Coded."
Kill and Burn The Witches
Because I'm bored at work.
Tldr spider was comparing gay people to psykers. Then we replied it wasnt a good comparison since psykers can be actual threats to worlds
Marvel Mutants say hello.
It's pretty much any group that's actively repressed tbh
Idk feels like a good one to me
especially when you consider how homophobic the 40k community is

You come out you get ostracized and sent off to "education"
Yeaaaah theres a lot of things in fiction with "you are different than us and need to be corrected" allegories.
I mean im just irrated that irl politics and shit constantly gets brought up in here. Im here to talk about the grimdark future, not how hilter has one ball
I admit that it's not 1:1 and you always run into the problem of.
"Well these people can blow you up with mind bullets."
But my points are still pretty good.
I mean it's never 1 to 1
And you don't think 40k isn't Political? :v
But the inclusion of "kinda" already takes that into consideration
40k is literally political satire
Goering has two but very small
the Imperium is also a parody of failing fascist states and bigots
Isn't satire inherently supposed to be political ?
Or was it caricature ?
A Brutal horribly mismanaged religiously fundementalist authoritian state that makes horrible short sighted decisions is somehow free of politics? :v
Satire can be anything. 40k itself is political
It doesn't directly have to be comedic but 40k usually has that mxied in
Shh don’t tell anyone about this
Ahh sorry, I see I misunderstood what the argument was then, I thought you were just saying if you leave Psykers to their own devices nothing will ever go wrong and that the Warp isn't dangerous.
I mean yeah, satyr (satire) in Greek custom was political humour so there's that, but the definition has changed over thousands of years
tho 40k's political message is a lot more simple, aka "Don't be a fucking fascist."
or you know
a racist
lol
There are arguments to be made about the Fascist part. :v
But I minored in political science and like arguing. So I'm biased.
Also “Don’t be a commie”
The term casual racism implies that there is competitive racism and I am not going to lose
_ the imperium
I feel like when your faction has literal death camps, firing squads, propaganda, brainwashing, genetical purity messages, mass executions, xenophobia among other things its definitely fascist.
It's definitely an Authoritarian, Totalitarian Fuedal shit hole with a Theocracy spot welded to the hip.
The imperium isn't casual racism, it's rank-based matchmaking
Call of Duty Moment.
True. But I meant the actual mechanisms of government.
Also yeah everyone is racist
Also all of those things are present in Non Fascist States.
Even me?
Including to themselves
💀I meant factions
The imperium forgot the tau exist because of how much of a joke they are so they aren't racist to them
Gesticulates to the early USSR which was hyper Authoritarian Socialism with a cult of personality.
You hate the other gods thats discrimination you filthy slanesshi worshiper
Man. That one cannibal colony is something out of 40k
I'll have you know I'm equal opportunity
Oh no hes a warrior
Look up the Nazino tragedy sometime.
That's something you would expect from a badly written 40k novel.
Gesticulates at Soviet Goverment being antisemitic
Just you wait until I swap to my very gay inquisitor
But I would argue that USSR isn`t facist state
I wonder how shipmistress brahms would feel seeing rejects running around in pirate gear
Considering she is a pirate hersel
Welcome to the imperium of man we got:
Spirit Halloween decoration
80s action heros in a jungle
World war 1 Germans with lasers
British people
Chronically online nerds in robes
Giant men with an IQ of -5
Rations made out of your best friend
And more
TRUE
Some State security bozo decides to ship a bunch of political prisoners to sibera to set up agricultural colonies to help stave off famine.
Then add the State Sec being given quotas to fill. So they start randomly grabbing people off the street for anything because Failure to meet the quotas wasn't an option.
Ship the Prisoners to the middle of nowhere with no one knowing to expect an massive influx of people.
Ship them to the middle of nowhere with no tools, supplies, some flour and some armed guards with instructions. "Keep them from leaving we guess."
Priests except they don't follow the bible
Rations out of my friends?
Yummy
And within like a few months everyone is eating one another.
Average eastern Europe moment
We also don’t talk about deportation
And labour camps
I mean technically they were already eating each other before then (Corpsestarch)
And destroying churches
Than establishing your own commie church
With priests having ties with KGD and NKVD
Yeah life is rough out here
No the problems were the Guards had some Flour.
And decided to stop giving the Prisoners flour.
Finally after some issues the Guards decided to ask.
"Okay. So we'll give flour to whoever your leaders are and they'll decide who gets the food."
So of course random people say they speak for everybody and control the already extremely limited supply of food.
Yummy flour and water soup
And then you get people hunting and eating one another.
Mmm long pork
They dropped like. A SECOND WAVE of Prisoners onto the island.
What if the god-emporer just said "I don't wanna do this no more" and cuts off his own life support
Also no extra food.
The second wave is the food
The Guards would hunt escapees for sport.
but they had flour!
And also raped Prisoners and when they were done threw them back on the island and watched them get ripped apart by starving Prisoners.
The Nazino Tragedy was MASSIVELY fucked up.
And the only solace is the dude who had the bright idea was later liquidated.
This makes me realize that we're talking about real life and not Warhammer anymore
Shit
I wonder who's higher, Interrogator Rannick or Shipmistress Bra-
Yknow what
Nvm I thought abt it
Oh yeah.
That's why I said.
"This is something like out of a bad 40k novel."
I didn't see that lol
theres a reason when its atrocities 40k just sticks to "they gunned people down"
Black Friday Deal! Go to https://nordvpn.com/simplehistory to get a 2-year plan plus 1 additional month FREE with a huge discount! 2 years of cybersecurity for only $3.16 per month.
On May 18th 1933, on the direct orders of Stalin himself, 5000 men and women arrived at Nazino, a small isolated island on the River Orb, deep in the remote and bar...

Found
It maybe cringe
Because of reference
But still some simple information
Valentine's day massacre type beat
In terms of authority Rannick is only higher because he's acting with Grendyl's authority who can pretty badly screw with Brahms
And I would agree with it
I just realized one of the dead prisoners in the thumbnail is in the family guy death pose
Yeaaaaaah. >.>
I think if a 40k writer did an atrocity even half as bad as Nazino people who be saying it was too unbelievable and fucked up incompetent for the Imperium.
Dilara post the Sold pls
they just stick to vanilla gore stuff
On it
They just stick to massacres and terrorism
for the Rogue Trader 'social' skills, does it matter who you talk to people with or will party members pick up if needed?
It automatically uses the highest skill for any check
"We fucked up so bad by accident we had people battle Royale where the winners would eat losers and with the guards stationed nearby hunting prisoners for sport inbetween sexual assaults and throwing their victims back onto the beach to be eaten." Would have readers go.
"What the fuck?"
So if your trader has 60 commerce, and Abelard has 65
It'll just use Abelard
@gaunt sable
This is the biggest evidence I use when numbskulls go "Widespread Chaos corruption is not the Imperium's fault."
Yeah sure buddy
What's that from?.
Kill-Team: Ashes of Faith
its from 2 pages where it shows chaos cult examples and how they form
I'm guessing brahms is second highest after melk?
She's entirely out of our Hierarchy, she's a rogue trader doing Grendyl a favour
By letting us squat
Fair enough
"At least Papa Nurth is better then the Warden." :v
Papa Nurth more like Papa Girth
Doesn't even have to be a Favor.
"We should get a death-guard boss!"
The last surviving veteran after not doing a single ounce of damage to a heaping bulk of metal and hyper-STIs:
Some Rogue Traders in the novels get handsomely rewarded for helping the Inquistion.
I think it's mentioned somewhere that's she owes him and got dragged along to Atoma
Whether monetarily or the Inquistor looking the other way to mundane indescrestions.
Also we stan Heinrix @storm jungle
Rogue Trader has you ferrying an Interrogator around
Ah yeah, casual imperial governors moment
You know, not to be an edge lord when I say this, but I think 40k writers should push on what's comfortable and uncomfortable for people with that sorta stuff, just so people don't fall into the trap of "Oh huh the Imperium here don't seem so bad, they seem actually kinda good" type beat.
Not to an excessive degree but just a smidge methinks
Only Governors “elected” by their people could be somewhat good
I know. I like Henry. :v
There's always not horrible evil individuals
But no matter how you spin it they're typically either complacent or actively perpetuating all the horrible shit that's going on
The only real reason people root for the imperium is because they're human
And still it’s rare examples
I root for Chaos
Their only rare examples because there aren't that many novels taking place in the nicer quarters of the Imperium.
This guy is a moebian 6th soldier with access to discord
Maybe, who knows
Not excessive in warhammer is like asking a Khorne daemon to donate blood
it needs to be excessive but only the right amount of excessive
Also a lot of Authors like to race going for the most Grimderp takes they can as if it's a competition. >.>
I might been one all the time
Yeh, otherwise it comes off as immature and edgy
40k is immature and edgy by nature
I realized that theres no bathrooms on the mourningstar
Steals Gif
Henry's come to see us!
how many skilled human fighters should it take to kill a chaos space marine? just did that in a videogame u probably haven't heard of and i realized between in all 40k books i've read (eisenhorn, ravenor, the infinite and the divine, opening trilogy of horus heresy) there isn't a single proper matchup between humans and astartes. other than [eisenhorn:xenos spoiler]||mandragor getting coup de grace'd after being stunned by picking up the cursed book||
Steals you
Who is Henry?
1
Just throw them into an industrial shredder or warp storm

Parties like it's 1403!
Dancing plague ass mod
1 and he has to be a main hero
Heheheheheh
I'm not joking
I was hoping you'd get the reference
Or very lucky
Depends on the writer
With proper equipment you can easily 1shot a SM
Aim for their eyes, ez
Yeah meltagun for example
one shot of that infernal pistol and it's over
i mean like a proper showdown. im just confused about whether the one i fought in rogue tradey was a lil baby or not
Shoot them in the eyes with a sisters of battle bolter
He was
heh
It's whatever you want it to be
Or whatever the author wants it to be
He is Word Bearer called Aurora
How would the structural foundation of the Imperium change if KFC still existed
And armed with Heavy Bolter
for the record i absolutely loved that encounter. they wrote it real good and the fight was mechanically real good
I wish we got a darktide-esque game where we fought necrons in their full glory, resurrection protocol and all
But yeah. I like 40k novels about the Imperium that are more like Abnett, Mitchell and etc.
Where the Imperium is at best sorta grey to grimey black.
But their not like. Completely Grimderp.
dude you're a rogue trader that can literally have enough physical raw strength to lift a heavy bolter
Probably would chug performance wise, but would be cool
That space marine will get folded like an omelet
The main objective is to steal trazyn the infinite's deepfryer
STEAL THE ORB
Steal Trazyns Air Fryer in the name of the Omnissiah.
He has the last remaining STC for the Airfryer, it must be recovered at any cost
"Human culinary culture peaked with Taco Bell and has been on the downward spiral ever since."
did i miss something in the Infinite and the Divine? why does trazyn have a notable airfryer
Because he's trazyn
Do you think he has examples of different body types
Why wouldn't he have one
He probably has every medical book and journal in existence
does a fair fight happen in any of the books?
No
There's even photographic evidence of him owning one
There's no such thing as a fair fight
In a setting like warhammer a fair fight is often a suicide mission
So no it does not exist
i like this answer
I mean there's Eisenhorn
eisenhorn definitely did not kill mandragor fair and square
That's the point
Air fryers were lost during the age of strife
Do you think Trazyn would steal a Twink
Probably
Now we are doomed with soggy fries
gotta get my twink bod back so trazyn can steal me
there are planets with the same technological level as earth in warhammer
No need to, he already has clone Fulgrim
so hey
I like soggy fries
they may have an air fryer
the fuck
Trazyn has an entire space marine regiment in his gallery why WOULDN'T he steal a few femboys
My man
What
I mean the real question is does trayzen have a twinkie
He probably has an entire twinkies truck
Would Trazyn deep fry a mars bar
Because he is not interested in them

He'd probably be interested because men aren't supposed to look like that in his point of view
We must steal trazyn the infinite's most important item: A Ford F150
He also has a pitbull named princess in his collection
He definitly has an unknown numbers of Toyota Techincals in his collection
The necrons require Dodge chargers with M2 Brownings mounted on them
im gonna screenshot trazyn's NFT collection
Possible RT spoiler ||Was going through the Toybox mod and checking all the items in the game and in the weapons section there's a Gaussflayer, I couldn't actually add it to my inventory but it's there in the files. Haven't encountered Necrons yet in the game and haven't heard anything about them but it could mean Necrons either base game or DLC||
right click save as

||Necrons are in the Game lol||
||Oh, guess I've just not encountered them yet||
Trazyn probably has every cat species in the world in his collection, each with their own name
Trazyn, the infinite: "and this..is my Scottish fold cat..his name is Munchkin"
there's an oriental shorthair named Orikan
My opinion, we need trench mission

yeah they are made out of rubble
but still
those ones are trenches
Would it be a maelstrom or something else
Because if we're dealing with moebian 6thified kriegsmen that'd be cool
You don`t need to be Krieg to engage in Trench Warfare
But still, the idea is there since we already have the kriegsmen sets from October
He probably has a few dozen.
Checks out
No that's a Twunk.
Still valuable.
Whoever did the music in rogue trader needs a big fat kiss
I had the || aurora fight last night and the music goes insane ||
They typically have kickass music
https://youtu.be/h9W0oC87zCI?si=rRjb_U0FzakCYbEL
Soundtrack for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
I don't own any of these music. The game is made by Owlcat Games. Check out their channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCo1yuqm85x6iyko4dKhZPiA
Also, check out the composers here:
Dmitry V. Silantyev: https://www.youtube.com/c/DmitryVSilantyev/featured
Mikhail Kotov: https://www...
The current OST is made by a Polish composer I think
Nvm seems he's Armenian
But fuck me if he doesn't do a good job
yeah i just finished wrath of the righteous this week and started rogue trader. I didn't even know about rogue trader until the day it came out!
It’s so fun
words cannot describe my joy, finally finishing WOTR and being like, shit that was great but now i need a new CRPG to fill the void
oh what's this? OH WHAt'S THIS?
It’s fun, a shade buggy though, I don’t know how buggy, as people just tend to act like the game is only bugs
yeah haha it's a little buggy but miles and miles from being buggy enough to stop me from enjoying it
I have had 1 bug in 20 ish hours
like, idk about you but i played darktide on launch and those bugs didn't stop me from having fun either
this isn't even close to that bad
there is exactly one bug that even stands out to me in memory, because it's constant, which is that pressing space to speed up my characters running where i told them actually makes it take longer and whacks out the animation for a sec
they just released a massive update fixing a lot of issues
so we golden
And introducing more aparently
well yes it did **** ** my saves you only need to validate your files to make sure it doesn't get corrupted
And hey I want to start a new campaign anyway so that's always a plus but my God the missions I remember will haunt me to this day
that and rmb-moving the party out of combat doesn't show the cursor on the ground until you let go
when did the update roll out?
Just a few hours ago
and whatever you do validate your files
thanks for the tip haha
I deleted my saves because i thought it they got corrupted and beyond fixing
I do not wish my mistake befall to others
is it worth loading an earlier save if I missed the crashed drukhari ship in rykad system? i just made it to footfall
I highly encourage saving just when something goes absolutely wrong because trust me
this game is an absolute decision moment
While yes save scumming is not really a very nice practice according to some people those people can go burn themselves in hell this is your game
lmao i can't imagine
i agree that it's fun to just commit to consequences and not spoil the narrative drama , and to push yourself to fight through fights that are going desperately wrong, i also think that crpgs like this (and owlcat in particular) are so LONG and so punishing for some mistakes/misunderstandings of inputs or abilities/etc, that it just ain't worth it to be strict with yourself about it
my old character can wrestle a space marine to the floor and break his arm
also in WOTR playing on core, save scumming in order to master seemingly impossible fights by testing and reworking multiple strategies is the core fun
one of the many core fun things
My character can win a battle of attrition with how durable he is but sometimes you just need to reload the save and try better strategies
"astartes nuts!" i say, interupting the CSM and punching him in the throat with my 85 strength
Also this game is like
my character is baby lil sniper operator that hides in the back with cassia
A good bit better than wrath imo
Also did you notice the like
Leap in graphics lol
yeah wotr was an adaptation of very complicated ttrpg that has lots of flaws and is sorta clunky (but i still love it for having so much more meat on its bones than 5e)
but it feels like rogue trader was designed for this videogame
It's based on 1st Ed yeah?
I'm told there's some changes but otherwise it's basically the RPG in game form
oh, really? well nvm then haha
Here's hoping they do other FFG games
in any case it fits the videogame format really well
never played none of those but i'd like to
It's basically the same system as Rogue trader apparently
been complaining my way through dnd 5e for like 8 years now
with some lancer, urban shadows, and a few homebrew systems
i thought wotr looked pretty good, but rogue trader looks great yea
i love the system. between all the powerful team buffs, the effectiveness and versatility of exploits, the momentum system, officer's extra turn mechanics, i'm just really really loving edgy space magic xcom
leveling up feels really good and i'm amazed out how fast im leveling up too
the amount of interesting-build-decisions-per-hour is off the charts. I love thinking through that stuff
Genuine question: do we have any implication or idea on why the Karnak twins are cannibalistic?
hungwy
But is that what Nurgle blessings do? It seems unrelated to his blessings
maybe they wanna eat other nurgle-blessed folk to get their blessings
Im almost thinking they had to eat other people out of desperation and ended up indulging in it but not sure if Im reading too much into it
Possibly but they wanted to eat the rejects
We definitely dont have Nurgle blessings aside from whats being forced upon us
hmmm. what do people even eat in tertium? when there's not a heretic occupation going on
wondering if that foodsource would be functional right now
Likely some variant of corpse starch if you're an underhiver or algae-based foods shipped from somewhere in the Atoma system
I just now realized that testicular torsion is something a psyker can absolutely do to somebody
Yep
TWIST OF FATE
lmfao
Give us testicular torsion aura fatshark
All male enemies completely die
No matter what they are
reminds me of the time in the inheritance cycle books, eragon finds out that you can just pinch a dude's jugular to kill him for basically no magical energy, and someone just tells him yea we try to keep quiet about that. shit would suck if more people thought of doing that
Nurgle even slightly gazes towards Tertum, sees this, then cringes and dies.
You will be the first to experience it 💀
be the change u wanna see in the world
Testicular torsion aura doesn't work on slaaneshi cultists because they are into that
So you claim to be Slaaneshi Cultist?
No, it just wouldn't work on them
Because they're weird
Khorne cultists also wouldn't be affected because they are literally too angry to die
argenta sheds a tear for all the orphans with testicular torsion
Its 90% of the RPG except the trading + ship combat has been changed
thank fuck because the ship combat in the RPG was uh
not great imo
disagree
Call it organized chaos. Under heavy fire real time, easy fix return fire and use abilities real time
Ok but now do that for 6 chars at the same time
^
Easy, dawn of war taught me well
Dawn of war isn't particularly micro heavy
Im gonna orbitally bombard your house
It's a whole different hog when you're the one that has to tell your guys when to take individual shots
Fair enough, high octane real time stress go brrrrt
Baldurs gate 2 would like to have a word
You found the space button to pause I hope?
Space button in wotr makes combat easy too
Seeing the drukhari || steal the fucking sun || was a nice touch
yeah its always told in lore so to see it in action is cool
Woah I gotta see that when I reach that point
To think the Eldar were actually that stupidly advance to steal the sun
Even the inquisition fellow admits the eldar got insane levels of technological superiority, especially the drukhari as some of their "twisted creations resemble something sorcerous"
The scariest part of Drukhari is that they got no warp tricks or sorcery
It’s all technology
Yep lmao
They do be terrifying
Yo that fight ||with Aurora is crazy||
I thought it was gonna be something like Reach but I gotta redo it
Its one of the most annoying parts of the game
The fight?
Yeah man I'm irritated that I gotta redo that whole thing
With the ||electro priests?||
No the ||Chaos Marine||
Seriously
I hope the patch helps the AI friendly fire less
Early fights often end with the enemy killing more of themselves than me.
This sniper 1 hits everyone too 😭
"Friendly fire is always a must" - Sister argenta
Abelard skullfucked || aurora for me, chaos marine cant take on one grizzled old navy vet||
Just realized abelard is basically just popeye
I got him down to 40 but only had 2 people left before he ||destroyed the last ship||
make sure you're using your grenades
I don't got no more
I used them all up on during the run back to the pad
Is skull fucking something common in 40k
One could describe the entirety of the grim darkness of the far future as "skullfucking"
yeah no thanks on the realtime. it's possible to make realtime reasonable but it depends a lot on the system
wrath of the rigtheous i feel is almost not playable in realtime unless your whole party is martial characters. You can't afford to autocast anything because you'll run out of spellslots, so the casters are just using 1d3 cantrips while woljiff sets the bar at 500 dmg per turn
pillars of eternity was a lot more reasonable in realtime though, and i think i remember the first dragon age game having smart enough party AI configuring that you can set up good behaviours for different situations
rogue trader might work in realtime, but i can't imagine any situation where it's easier in realtime
Abelard and Heinrix seeing a ||chaos space marine|| like "we are going to beat you to death"
Heinrix literally goes GOOD LUCK GUYS SEE YA if you look at his text box
what yall think about a chaos ogryn charonite (if ever so canon)
yall think the imeprium gon survive!?!?!
Charonite technology got outlawed post great crusade
Hereteks chuckle at concept of outlawed tech
as if you think heretics would follow that outlaw law
its also way too fucking advanced
it was a struggle to produce during the great crusade already
There's 0 chance the eye of terror has the necesary resources and stability for charonites
Vashtorr lights a cigarette
Vashtorr makes daemon engines
and daemon weapons
Charonites don't interest him
I do love how the lore is like
"yeah charonites were outlawed"
even tho you got like 10 units in the Imperial factions that match the exact same category of fighter

Also I did say "if ever so canon"
tbh its probably because it made ogryns smart 💀
💀
I'm just asking if yall think the imperium will not be able to stand a chance against a chaos ogryn charonite
A chaos empowered ogryn charonite with a force field and a blank strapped to his back, the ultimate weapon
Don't give the heretics any idea
use more gun™️
Im abt to go to reddit with this
Does anyoneone else have a bug with rogue trader
Where it uses your character stats for all in world skill checks
Like demolition logic etc it uses my characters stats for the roll not whoever is doing it or is the best at it
I just has a small pirate adventure, lol.
On rogue trader, right?
There's way worse things they fight on the regular.
They were effective, not unstoppable.
They mostly existed as a cheap way to supplement IA forces and give them a chance against marines in close quarters fighting.
So what's the lawful good alignment in rogue trader? Because Iconclast seems to be the "come on, let's try not to make life worst than it already is" alignment
Yes (if you were referring to me)
Lawful good is dogmatic i think because of the lawful part
Oh...gotcha
So Lawful then
Come on, we all know the imperium and imperial cult aren't good guys
Iconoclast in Rogue Trader really has some of the more fun dialogue options sometimes. I literally had a option that convinced a person to turn away from Heresy after they go "maybe I am a idiot after all."
Dogmatic is Lawful Evil
it really emphasis the whole Kill everything but "For the Imperium" way
heck going full Dogmatic even has Argenta and Heinrix become concerned about your Rogue Trader and tells him/her to chill a bit due to how kill happy they are when they go "for the Imperium" bang bang
and that speaks a lot considering these two are the most Dogmatic of the companions
Heretical is well Chaotic Evil for obvious reasons
The old man who was about to undo his children?
oh you have no idea how kill happy Dogmatic is if you have not reach chapter 2 and beyond yet
Oh, I did the iconoclast options so I convinced him away from Chaos, then I killed him anyway
I did the same thing with the rebel in the warehouse, I listened to his story and believed him and then just yeeted him from life
Bruh, the guy literally ||burned his family's eyes out with an evil magnifying glass, and Cassia can literally see Tzeentch influence still on him, how is letting him leave a good idea?||
Iconoclast certainly wants to do good and believe in redemption, but the whole point of stuff like Drukari or Chaos is that they're irredeemable monsters
Although, ||I still think you should get Iconoclast points for negotiating with that one ship crew, instead of just letting the enforcers do the oppression thing, but what do I know.||
Dogmatic is lawful, iconoclast neutral, heretical is chaotic
DnD alignments really don't work in 40k
They fit pretty well
If you go iconoclast you are doing things that are clearly not lawful
But also not chaotic as well
And as many of the aspects of the imperium show you can be lawful while still very much being evil, and just like how many uprisings start from discontent/desire for change before being corrupted you can be chaotic good (at least for a short while)
Just got my navigator....holy shit, do these freaks kill their subordinates?
if you want to chart an optimal path yeah
you'll have to break a few eggs kill a few slaves
Here I thought I could preserve my Crew
it is 40K universe
the Grimdark future is no joke and not just a meme
there is a lot of messed up things that goes on in the Imperium and every other faction
you can thank Erebus for the current state of the Imperium
I find myself to be more of a Magnus hater
well what Magnus did would not have happened if Erebus never began his plan to destroy the Imperium and give it to the Chaos Gods
everything goes back to Erebus and his plot since the beginning to bring down the Imperium from the inside
the so called "side character" who is secretly the mastermind behind everything while a bigger figure more easily noticed and rememberws takes the credit
Its menials, who cares
its like 5-10
Just wait until she gets her pets :3
Poor Rodin always care for his sister Rinda even when she dies
but Rinda straight up an arse insulting him when her brother dies
I’m playing as a clergy member who values human life.
The Imperial cult is gonna flip
Bro does anyone else get the freezing glitch?
The game continues playing but an enemy is stucking making a turn
https://youtu.be/OgNSVZK52jk?si=uPMzM36oLPmUjvCz at about 5:38, the Female Loose Cannon states that she feels like she's done this before (this likely being the mission)
Warhammer 40k Darktide squad dialogue/voice lines compilation and gameplay
Playlist for voicelines: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLOKyPtdTuLLainwhpek-SpQ7UWd6j6zy4
Is this implying that there's similar Tzeentch fuckery afoot like in VT2?
A case of dejavu or the devs having a sneaky jab at us
It could be both tbh
Our mission objectives are frequently pretty similar
With all the data interrogation and so on
Also true
dejavu is such a messed up feeling
It's a wacky feeling yuj
But considering this is 40k, I don't think it's hard to see this as legit magic at play from the weaver of fate
Seer is correct. It’s because it’s all a dream.
So in terms of power. How powerful are the Karnak twins?
At this point we’re auric level operatives but they still gave us a good fight.
auric walk in the park compared to twins hard mode
I'd say from their descriptions and combat performance they're on a level of a chaos champion at very least, maybe even minor lords
It's a bit hard to judge from gameplay because we can pretty menacing with certain team compositions, but Karnaks alone slaughtered more of our allies and rejects than any other notable heretic
Bare minimum i would give them enough skill to go to toe to toe or even beat a Rogue Trader
Rodin also seems to be well versed in creating plagues judging by his dialogue "I brewed this batch just for you" which not only hurts like hell but also empowers poxers
With Average equipment
He's probably the main leader of the manufacturing of the biological weaponries
Anything that poisons or empowers the mobian six probably comes from him
Most likely, he's probably not alone but was amongst the ones behind it
Yeah he is definitely one of if not the best at making plagues and stimulants for the war band
I like the detail that he is using death heads instead of regular grenades
Nah. Evil would be "use rules for your own gain" "have rules by which you act, but still for yourself"
Dogmatic is far from that.
Why? "Good" in 40k doesn't exist as we perceive it. But lawful good usually goes "abide rules that not always benefit me"
is this bugged?
Probably or it works and it just displays something
Wrong
Okay damn that thing looks like it can turn you into mashed cheese
Yeah Tzeentch cultists
well glad they are adding more traitor leagion enemies beyond just Chaos Marine type. Time to fight a chaos|| dreadnaught||
That aside, anyone manage to find a Hotshot lasgun in Rogue Trader
I remember them being in Alpha but I think they removed them in release version
In Rogue trader?
ya
I am assuming that is late game
I'm working my way past Junas now
Go to the governors palace
Should be a crate next to the landing pad with a stock green one
been exploring a lot on side missions so I am taking my time
I think it's a perception check but it's between you and the building on one side
When you spawn
we have to assume that they are at the power level of accomplished inquisitorial operatives
throne agents
Joe agents
I think the implication here is that we give each other a tough fight
squad of rejects vs karnak twins in their element
4v2 tho
Ok scratch that, they had minions
“You lot wouldn’t last a day in the 6th!”
keep in mind that our characters are technically "better" than average reject
“Auric” tier?
Melk commands what he calls Auric Operatives, which are a darktide thing
we're never called them directly yet, despite doing auric missions
The way Auric Operatives are described in game, is borderline OP
In my mind they are those you see on youtube running the solo mod, speedrunning through
they're supposed to be spec ops essentially
And even they get wrecked fairly frequently
At this point i welcome a Chaos Space Marine fight
Karnak Twins got me feelin froggy
Im feeling unstoppable
Nothing less than Daemon Primarchs are gonna stop us
To quote Darkest Dungeon narrator "Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer"
This game is not the most lore accurate in the first place
Because we literally survive getting eaten by a beast of nurgle
It wouldn't be a game If it was
That would reduce us into pile of melted bones and flesh hell it's enough to literally just be near it and we melt
In lore Plague Ogryns and Nurgle stuff in general is described as being able to kill with a touch

We are basically in near permanent contact with the walking pox
The amount of goddam plague blood you get on your weapons too
our characters are basically Black Library novels main characters
They get the freebie of immunity to wicked shit
What? Whos the author
We are under the Emperor’s protection
