I'll give you that, and I don't know much about fantasy. That said, I still think Big E is stronger. Sigman has had to use his strength more do to how their reality works, where as the Emperor has a whole galaxy to wade through, and then was basically forced to sit on the golden throne before he could do anything further, more or less in the prime of when we'd see feats like sigmars. Now Big E is making demons and angels and shit straight from the warp and all sorts of crazy things.

Basically before the Empire of Man existed Sigmar was just a barbarian leading a group of human tribesmen, he eventually settled down in the heart of what would become the Empire and became the first Emperor, after that he left his crown and disappeared, this is where it gets foggy but he more or less was trapped in the realm of chaos by the chaos god and while there while he was gone his people started to worship him and he became a god.
The sigmarite church still had some issues with the Ulrics who worship a wolf-god named well Ulric, but Sigmar eventually became the prime deity of the Empire, when the End Times came he came back to lead humanity but Archaon and the Chaos Gods managed to destroy the world, Sigmar was left floating in space hugging the literal core of the world he failed before a magic space dragon found him and showed him the 9 Mortal Realms which is where AoS takes place, Chaos came there too and almost destroyed everything but Sigmar now a god forged the Stormcast eternals made from the souls of every person he deemed a valiant hero and with the teamwork of other "good" gods of Order he took to liberate the realms from chaos, some mishaps happened and Order became a bit shaky but they still work together and are trying to rid the realms of chaos forever, that current era is the titular Age of Sigmar.
