I got a cadian character
but thats kind of it
I like how much of an asshole the cutthroat is
Tell me their names, i will find their address and throw a rock at their house on side the written, this is a part of Cadia
Cutthroat also says the Imperium abandoned them
so he borders a bit on being rogue
and theres a super good interaction with Judge
where he warns the Cadian that if he clings to vengeance too much
he will end up like the Moebians
because hes seen better men like him fall to it before
its a great interaction
That guy really wants me to tell abaddon that his face looks like cadia
cadians are like 1 step away from falling to khorne
Nah the blood pact are more interesting
its why the Judge interaction is great
The rejects are all probably corrupted in some sense
When I murder 82DK I have a soundboard hotkey for "Cadia Stands".
i doubt they're self aware enough to get the joke
I doubt they know enough about the garbage they larp as to know anything beyond it
Pffft
i just got the iron head prospectors
Those are the necromunda dwarves right
Their aesthetic is very very similar to that of deep rock galactic
It's almost uncanny
very
But hey they look pretty cool
also it arrieves tromorrow
I wouldn't be surprised if my gunner retired and decided to join their gang
som, ething i didnt know unitl reading thier lore is that they were the decendants of squats who were hired to repair necromunda after the HH
and it took so long the squats there decided to move in
because their ancestors built the fuckin place they know where the good shit is
thier armor and guns and weapons is construction equipment lmao
Did they join in the crime because everyone else decided to bother them?
Like the local gangs being a bit quirky
well they are prospectors, its mroe of a happen stance thing
'well we better arm up agianst these gangs getting on our loot'
and alsothey have the squat ideology og 'squats>humans"
That is fair
Do they work with someone if you pay them enough?
eh yeah, 90% of people in encromunda will
necromunda is a human planet
So not surprising on that part
Well boy I got good news for you
Good old warhammer + exclusive minis.
Likely to be based off this wonderful fella
Yo they have tiny contemptor dreadnoughts
and here i'm trying to subscribe but it still wont let me
Does a squat have to be injured to use it
no
I bet that one bodybuilder that's like a sphere could fit in there
I love ittt
i just watched the majorkill video that was mentioned here earlier
Lmao
it's like he's bragging about gaming the system
like no shit 10 minute videos twice a week and doing shorts all the time will make your channel grow
I love how one of his points was
"These guys make videos on hyper specific subjects"
...so literally what you are doing?

That and like people got shit to do
he probably thinks he's genius for figuring out that only making 10 minute videos and not explaining in depth lets him have infinite content
it would take him years to cover the horus heresy
luetin covered it mostly in 2 videos
Yeah its very much tooting his own horn
I like how he more or less berates 40ktheories
when like, the guy runs his channel entirely knowing that its semi-stagnant.
Its his thing, leave him be lol
Majorkill has always berated his peers
Yeah and plays it off as "haha im joking"
legit. it's like he can't even comprehend making videos for fun
Very much yep
he really hasn't thought this through or if he has he thinks 40ktheories is a moron
Yeah lmao
its very much not realising not everyone does this for money
to some its literally just "I like talking about lore sometimes"
Ive never used majorkills videos as a resource to teach people with
Same.
I was a fan of him when he like first started but man that was a few years ago
Im in his discord but its mainly because i have street cred there and the meme channel
Lmao fair
the way he talks about luetin's views is pretty funny
his views are stagnating according to majorkill yet the graph he shows says he does around 3 million consistently lmao
per video
The Adeptus Ridiculous one is the only thing ill agree on with him i think, they basically found the perfect format to make a shit ton of money from sheep-like 40k fans where they just sit on their ass as Bricky tells the other guy who knows nothing about anything basic lore he takes notes from the wiki to explain as he goes "WOOOOW" - "HOLY SHIIIIT" - "JESUS!"
That and just generic patreon smut
i think these channels, including majorkill, don't do shit for 40k
Yeah really not
nobody who watches these 10 minute videos will read a single book or even learn that there's a tabletop gane
Major is very much r/40klore condensed into a youtube channel is the best description i can give him i think.
Aka random questions/lore facts literally nobody cares about.
Primarchs this.
Primarchs that.
Not true but aight
Im one of those people xD
Would you fuck arch if he was down for it
fuck no
Who?
Would you bust it down
i think the shorts are even worse
Hes literally a redditor

I remember what he said about gnoblars
Same.
I'll never forgive
Remember when Arch deleted like
He dissed
almost 60% of his videos
Lol
He's like a Twitter culture war guy now complaining about "tourists" (gay people)
Even bigger of loser
God literally that.
Weshammer is a good guy yeah he is just a bit obnoxious
its like Valrak
genuinely good guy
just a bit clicbaitey and youtuber'y
Yeah, oculus is ok too
I like wes alot. Dont really find him obnoxious
It's just the thumbnails are a bit clickbaity but the content is sublime
^
I like book of choyer they do Warhammer fantasy stuff good
i really like some of his content where he basically retells the plot of 40k audio-dramas, thye are so good
Whats yalls thoughts on baldemort?
I tried to get into adeptus ridiculous but I only like the ones with the guys talking about vehicles the rest are really boring and the humor doesn't mesh with me
Baldemort is good when he likes something, like he did a video on melta guns and he loved it
Melty melty
^
Baldemort is a good guy and a person with a great voice
very much immersed in what hes talking about
Those are really good videos.
Yeee i love em
i recommend em to people who like
cannot really afford the audio dramas
they are some of the BEST content on 40k, barely anyone knows about them
I really enjoyed his retelling of the arks of omen and the return of gman
i dont even watch lore videos anymore because it'll spoil stuff
I dont mind being spoiled about things pre rift, mainly because i joined the community post rift
yeah M41 was were ALL the shit was at
Still really need to watch his arks of omen lion vid
It seems like
Pretty fuckin important as a fallen fan
And I just haven’t
Have you read lion son of the forest yet
100% my favorite 40K book
Its so good
Such a good read
Ill prolly end up rereading it soon
Same here
Started my 7th reread a bit ago
The risen are just written so damn well
Wow
And I love the call backs to prior lore
Zabriel is one of my favorite 40k characters.
Zabriel is 100% on my podium
There was a cypher book that came out or is coming out soon right?
Came out think in July
Need to buy that myself
Read the first 2 chapters
Pretty neat
Just bought the audiobook
Nice shit
Galad, for what little he’s in the book, is also a favorite of mine
All the risen are great
They really really are
Really reinvigorated me writing my fallen boys
Cause I mean the dynamics between them alone
Imo it’s some of the most human I’ve ever seen space marines be
What not getting your brain fucking blasted by hypo indoctrination does to a mf’er
And how having common sense does wonders
You start to really see that divide in the DA in the HH books. Which is something neat to read
Holguin (deathwing fella) has a fuckin meltdown cause he’s realized so much shit could’ve been avoided if any one of them had just sat down and talked like adults

This specific novel fuckin destroyed my view of the DA and Lion
He does so much fucked up shit
The black Templars are the paragon every space marine should aspire to be.

Suffer not the Alien Suffer not the Mutant Suffer not the Heretic .
Ironic considering marines are arguably mutants
Even more ironic that the original black sword fucking talks
Do we still have the SW fan ? Haven't seen him in a long time
Idk
It does whaaa
It talks to sigusmund
Like that shit is not natural at all
Fucking aspect warrior lookin ass sword
love this art of em btw
If I wanted a magical talking sword that potentially posses you
Marines are not the faction I’d go looking at
also strange to think out of the 6 dudes here there's a swede and an Egyptian
They are cringe xenophobic racists that are a parody of how IRL Crusaders were also cringe xenophobic racists.
But people kinda tend to miss that irony

That or they are fully aware and call it based anyway, which is arguably worse
Or they’re a tabletop player and want to bring 20 fucking marines in a single squad
Which at that point that’s another mental illness
I hope a drop pod lands on me
Real
god, me
Found the quote
Aaaaaand it won’t post

There we go
Can Drop pods move themselves or do they need external help?
Like after they land?
I’ve had sorta the same question. If they’re left there or if the chapter go back for em.
Just one random thing I haven’t bothered looking into
For normal pods yes
they get crane and shit to lift em out after the campaign is over or the warzone is cleared.
The only drop pods that can return to orbit is the 30k ones: https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Anvillus_Pattern_Dreadclaw
Wack shit

Ye I know about that only cause of a mobile game
Bitch ass world eaters would drop in and then their dreadclaws would retreat into the sky
The Drop Pod is not capable of launching under its own power and once committed to a planetstrike cannot be recovered until much later, generally by far larger vessels not intended to operate at the front line. Having been recovered after a successful operation, they are returned to the war ship that deployed them to receive any needed repairs before being used once more, and many have been in service for centuries. Many Chapters inscribe records of each drop onto the interior bulkheads so that battle-brothers enduring the ferocity of an orbital drop can read them and take heart from the vehicle's countless successful operations.
I hold many grudges from freeblade
good
Adeptus Sanitourium moment
Techmarines with mops and brooms
The marines malevolent do NOT abide by OSHA guidelines
This probably means that thunderhawks pick them up
fun fact: improperly worn harnesses will straight up kill you
Kharybdis Assault Claw
They don't return to orbit.
Fake news
I wonder if the Mechanicum can recreate 30k gear for chaos through warp fuckery.
It’s kind of impossible to have mass production in the eye of terror
Most war material is batch made or made to order
For chaos
Don’t forget the Techno-Fiddler Demographic
They’re part of chaos
In Renegades: Harrowmaster the Alpha Legion OGs dust of a HH era Kharybdis that is capable of (and succeeds in (mostly)) taking back off and returning to orbit
The basic lore for it never really states this so its prob just the author mixing the two pods up.
Which i dont blame him for because they basically look the same lol
Hey dilara, here is your another daily dumbass question from me, what's the imperial knight equivalent for the other races
I already know chaos because they are exactly the same
Wraithknight for eldar
And Gorkanauts and Morkanauts for orks
So you already listed some off,
- Eldar have their own wraith knights
- Orks got the gorks/morkanauts
- Chaos have the exact same thing ye
- Necrons dont really have anything
- Neither do tau, they tend to stick with normal constructs, they got like 1 titan equilavent on Forgeworld
I think for tau just find the suit that's the same weight class as a knight
Always put the seraptek as a “knight” for the Necrons in my head
do you mean in game lords of war or specific knights?
there's this
isn't the Riptide the Tau equivalent?
or is it much smaller?
i guess?
What makes an imperial knight a knight is they can be piloted and are medium sized, Gorkanauts and Morkanauts can fall in that category, same with wraithknights
Yeah thats the one i was talking about
its literally their only "massive walker" unit
Yup
Wouldn't that thing be around the weight class of a stompa
I’d say I wish Necrons had bigger stuff but it’d still be resin
Same
the necron 'big' model wasn't a walker iirc
though they should do a giant walker tripod
I might even start necrons if they do that
yeah they went full War of the Worlds for 9th edition
a lot of walkers
tripods especially
I mentioned that a while in another server
A big ass walker would be cool
Big big
Wasn't one of them literally a giant necron with a sword
Not just the reanimator
Nah
thats just a destroyer
im talking about these
you mean the other virus besides the flayer virus
Tomb stalkers are cool. Pretty moderate size
God
those were the days
tho the closest thing necrons would get to titans are just different monoliths
I really do wish they had giant robots
faction of robots, no giant stompy robots, why live
“Screw the dynasties we got fucking metroplex in this bitch” - some random necron overlord
the other dynasty makes their flagship the equivalent of Trypticon
it just transforms into a giant spider ship
Summon the monoliths!
Huh. So just read about the Severan Dominate. Did they ever get another mention pass the Only war rule book or are they more forgotten than the Sons of Malice?
They exclusively exist in only war
ROCK AND STONE TO THE BONE
Noice
something i am wandering about aldari soulstons keep there souls from reching the warp and bing devaor by slanessh right ?
becuas if so why not creat some sort of a soulston for the emperor that will by instald on the golden throne or turn the golden thron into some thing like the infinity curcet for the eldar ?
Because a lot of people from both sides would say nono
but why its a way to collet the emperor shatterd soul and mack him some what whole agine in spirit at lest
I mean, first off you'd have to kill the emperor to have him put into a soulstone
You don't just waltz your soul inside one
Also his soul is extremely fragmented
So capturing the pieces is going to be a bitch
Yes but let's all remember what the death of the emperor entails as that's a whole can of worms by itself
You know, infinite daemon portal and all that
that my point not to kill him but to some how recall his shatterd fragments of his soul
the eldar psykers can cuntinu to use there powers after death so my not the emperor ?
Cause we don't know what happens the moment he actually dies, he could even just ascend fully as a Warp entity for what we know.
Or way more probably have a psychic backlash strong enough to create a new eye of Terror
People believing in him is starting to show it's effects tho
Ye that's why I mentioned the first option
Atm post Plague Wars and such he's basically halfway in between
Also pulling his consciousness together is definitely going to be a hard endeavor
The backlash or pain of them joining together can be devastating
Hell, technically speaking he could have even appeared in a more avatar-like form within The Lion's new pocket dimension
If we count the old king that's present inside
And the fact his shield is literally there
Because eldar and human biology isn’t similar
We don’t even know if a soul stone would work on a human
Considering how they’re formed
Furthermore shoving someone into a soul stone doesn’t even mean they’ll be fully capable either
Im pretty sure the wounded king is the emperor
It does.
But uhhhh the Emperor is a massive giga-psyker whos powers work on bullshit writing.
so everyones point here is correct in this solution still being stupid
I stand corrected
Yeah but like
i dont blame you for saying it doesnt
it literally exists in like 2 hyper specific sources

one is the Farseer novel from 2002
the other is one of the RPG books from FF
well that and in both cases its just a "normal"-tier human psyker
finalized the company icons for the lads. cause why not, certainly nothing better to do with one's freetime
they look official af so gets a thumbs up from me lol
yeah tried to base em off the DA style but still not be a damn carbon copy
to add on that, something i just think i haven't shown off. Warband's icon by itself
36 space dwarfs is at least $160 worth of 40k today
Votann boxes pricing is criminal and the culprit deserves kick on the balls
what do you guys think of hugh jackman as gabriel seth?
Who is Alpharius and why is everyone calling themselves Alpharius
But sir, you're Alpharius
Whos Alpharius
Me and you and cacti and that guy way over that way
But why is everyone Alpharius
Is Alpharius heretic?
Who knows
The alpha legion from what i know is a traitor/loyalist faction
So like they follow the chaos god “god emperor” but thats just how I’ve heard it
I'm actually Omegon
Shit my bad
Chaos god god emperor what
They all look the same
From what i know they are basically heretical loyalists who all look the same
Gene fathers look the exact same as troops and they all have the same name
So everyone is Alpharius
Yeah
Oooooooohhhh I get it
I'm taking offence to that
I get the gist
Except Omegon
Who is who and ill take it back
2 Space Marines. Both claim to be Alpharius
Alpharius?
Correct
Idk
Theyre both Alpharius right
I trust the 7 foot murder daemon telling me he’s alpharius
Erm actually its daemon
I know but realized i had a funnier option
Is this a serious question

Yuh, I dont understand the whole Alpharius stuff
I thought it was just a 40K community running gag
Zealot and cacti explained to me already
Yeah basically the only correction im gonna make
after one of the twins died the Legion went rogue as you know
the issue is the Alpha Legion we always see in the lore are traitors/chaos, because their main faction on tabletop is for Chaos
So we never really see Loyalist Alpha Legion marines ever appear, so people joke that the chaos marines are actually helping the Imperium when they aren't at all
The fandom tries to make it complex when its very basic
40k fans making up reasons in order to make their character totally valid
lmao
Omegon may also be dead since he hasn't been seen since his supposed "death" at the hands of guilliman
Yeah its one of them thats what we know for sure
One is dead 100%
since the primarch psychic-shockwave-thing happened when one of them got sliced by Dorn
And you know, AL marines probably can't take on primarchs
"But it must have been a random marine!"
Speaking of dorn, I forgot he doesn't wear a centurion war suit
Yep thats a TTS thing lol
I actually prefer his design from TTS
...it's just a badly edited head on top of a pretty bad model
it works so
eh
Yeah what Ed said lol
The unironic best ones for tts are the custom ones they made later on tbh
Like the art for the BR captains
Or azzy
Yeah the ones Eliphus drew
otherwise they were literally relying on official artwork cutouts
lmao
I had a friend who did some of the custom commission orders for character cutouts, Alfa's team started that trend like midway into the series.
Based frend
🙏
Just saw a long ass thread about how
"Sororitas armor is custom made and form fitting because it's based on gothic armour, which was not only practical but intricate"
And just
Huh?
What the fuck is gothic armor
It has no articulation, it has a fkn corset, and it has standardized g cup plate lmao
Gothic style plate armour
I do not see the resemblance for the sister of battle armor
Neither do I lmao
Beautiful
It’s the shape of the helmet
Oh look underwear
the helmet is just a sallet it's nothing super fancy!!
SOB armor is made like it is to highlight the fact they are women
for the whole "no men under arms" thing after Vandire's crap

Now I just need Blank to return and we'll be all back
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DOeegNyVCk ummmm. isnt this video's title just the siege of vraks as it canonically happened?
As the legions of imperial guard throw themselves against the walls of Vraks during it's infamous siege a certain section of Krieg guardsman do their part in exploiting a breakthrough, with comical results.
SFM animation by @Greatdictator
If you enjoy the video consider subscribing and sticking around for the next one!
Support the channel, c...
Only if they re-enact the moment where kriegsmen shoot a commissar for telling them to stay and fight instead of retreating
kek
Well well if it isn't the git himself, welcome back
I know I'm late
very flimsy looking shovel
not a proper tool for headbashing smh
Ok what are some Warhammer dishes and foods that exist that aren't just corpsestarch, the fine cuisine I guess. Warhammer cookbook when
Grox meat
Grox steak
Eh
Too simple
The orange tentacle
Jesus this is so low res
Creepypasta
For orks, the most popular foods are squigpie and the usual beverage squig beer, and you might also see the snotlings or Gretchen if food supplies are low, also different types of mushrooms
Apple peaches are the most luxury food I found
Soylens Viridians is the vegan equivalent of corpse starch, it's made from algae
people also eat ambulls, but they just taste like grox, which I'd assume tastes like beef, so really it's just a matryoshka doll of increasingly deadly cows
Corpse starch is also not really that widespread
Soylens is hilarious to me because it's basically "fake" food, just a bunch of distilled nutrients, but in the Dark Imperium books there's also fake, knock-off soylens that they feed the sick
It's like real life hotdogs that are mostly just preservatives, but you couldn't afford the preservatives so like, here's some glue or whatever
Anyway re:corpse starch
Some authors will have characters just straight up eat it, but it's really more of an ingredient
Corpse starch rations are more like food with starch added to pad out the nutritional value
Nah its mostly entirely a food type
the ingridient thing is not that much of a common thing, especially depending on the books
The way I always read it was that when someone is eating "corpse starch", they're really eating food with starch in it, and just refer to it like that since it's the most notable/strongest taste
Like I know for sure it's handed out mixed with soylens when the way it's prepared is actually described like 90% of the time
Bought an audiobook to make my surprise double shift bearable
So I got terminal overkill
very nice choice
That implys pigs survived the age of strife, cool
Least some form of pig
There’s tons of similar animals on a bunch of planets
40K Fauna are always neat
Those warp teleporting alligators
Caliban had super horses and from memory they had a reverse situation with Timber Lions and Mountain Wolves
Teleporting warp alligators
That means that somewhere in the warp florida exists
Yeah it’s just where malice chills
40k has some baller alligators
they can take on space marines (cause of course) and they eat everything
I mean everything
Then after they just demolish the food chain
Teleport to a new world and start all over again
Sump Krok
Decided to look this up and apparently they are a favorite of house goliath
That's cool
Honestly 40K animals are just so cool man
It’s not explored that much but damn
They’re great
And theoretically you can make up your own species because well it's 40k
Exactly what I’m doing currently actually
Me and some dudes I know met a dude who does creature concept art
They’ve gotten comms from him so far I’m likely to get some this weekish
Nice
Does like sheets of concepts. This being one of them
This is this is some monster hunter level stuff
Pretty darn cool
So you made concepts for them
So far I got a buffalo, “raven”, big ass turtle, and an owl thing
Very interested to hear them
The buffalo is something I gotta think more of concept wise
So far I have, T shaped head, 5 legs.
Gotta think about a bit more for them
The raven is planned to be a mix between a raven and changyuraptor
Think I spelled that right
This ol thing
The most interesting concept i had was a giant Kaiju squig, it can breathe out liquid promethium, and to light up the promethium there is a specialized organ on the roof of its mouth that releases sparks violently igniting the promethium in the process and torching everything that gets caught, it can also have an adrenaline spike that increases muscle mass by a bit and causes it to go rampage and becomes very hard to control
The big ass turtle I literally have nothing for. Just really wanna do a big predatory sea turtle on my oceanic world
….
Liquid promethium
I got a fella who will be very interested
It got it by combining the dna of a oil squig
And as for size
Around that of a warlord titan
He doesn’t quite drink promethium. Loves huffing it tho
Gawd damn
Last one is just the forest’s apex predator. Large bipedal creature the natives describe as an owl ogre.
Yes, for its ability to breathe promethium that it manually ignites
I got the idea by remembering these two dragons from how to train your dragon, it can release sparks similar to one of the heads of a hideous zippleback, and has a liquid for a fire breath that can ignite in order to make a sticky hot flame taken from a monstrous nightmare
Ayyyyyy
Love me some how to train your dragon
piamupitsi̠ is the name
Yes, so basically it can just spit out promethium but it can also just ignite it, torching everything that gets caught
Absolutely based squig
The name of my kaiju squig is Kroggrog, The Big'Un
Probably gonna get a page like this for it. Maybe a few details
A closer look at its face and all
Which is another thing I have with this fella
It has almost “human” eyes
Damn that looks cool
Ahhhhh the simplicity of orks. Gotta love it
Yes, he has his own cage in Ard'Gob's ship, where they keep him, he has a specialized teleporta module implanted inside of him in order to teleport him into the field and get him out without complication
They spent a good amount of the resources to make him
Yup. Big fan of lookin at others animal ideas
Planet they’re all living on I believe https://wh40khomebrew.fandom.com/wiki/Aasarikaan
What I mean by details. Think this is a non 40K animal
Variations in the species and such
Damn that bird must have taken a few people if they live in a planet that dangerous
Full thing
Yup yup
Again big monster hunter vibes
Yup yup yup
Seriously tho I gotta plan a few more animals before it’s worth getting a sheet of multiple
For now I have the owl ogre lad planned
And a great beast of caliban.
Owl ogre, that sounds amazing
Which is important to the childhood of one of my fallen
It’s pretty much a huge menace on the planet
Snags anyone who ventured too far
I got a space marine who’s been trying to hunt it since he arrived on the planet
Least horrific wildlife in 40k
Natives liken it to a daemon
It arrived the same night where a meteor impacted
So they believe it came from the stars
Been hunting them ever since
Ohhhhh, the universe deciding to f*** up a very innocent world
Pretty much
World itself has 2 main populations
An Arthurian knightdom and techno tribes based off Native Americans
Knightdom is big off of wales and a couple Hebrew influences
Was sorta just me planting my family in. Dad’s Jewish, mom’s native.
Plus it makes for a fun combo on a planet
Ohhhhh shit now that I’m talking about it I forgot one of the animals
The universe then proceeds to throw savage Orks at the planet
Hahaha
So with the natives
I wanted to give them mounts and such
But I mean horses are great and all but they’re a bit boring in planet like this.
So. Galloping crocodiles
Cause who doesn’t love a bit of prehistoric reptiles in their life
If the world is quite swampy this would be very perfect
And considering the way you're going the world is probably full of monsters so a mount that can fight back is definitely needed
So far in the history I’ve thrown 2ish things at them. A chaos knight uprising and a minor xeno incursion
Mhm
Chaos knights happened before the space marines arrived tho.
At least before most of them arrived
Which is another story
So one of your imperial knights fought one of the local monsters like pacific rim?
Likely to be a swampy region. I’ve planned out 2 or 3 atm. Volcanic Wastes, the plains, hills upon which most of the knights live, snowy mountains, the huge forests and I think a swamp would be perfect
Ahhhh bit too broad with how I said knights. Was just normal ol medieval knights. Kingdom vs Kingdom
Though
I will say it’s likely a knight will fight a big ass monster. That just depends on how a conflict I’m co writing goes
That is cool
Are they techno knights?
Yep
Knights of Caliban vibes all around
Less power armor more las guns
That’s the plan.
Whole reason my fellas settled it
It’s just a bit too similar to caliban.
I would guess their aesthetic is pretty similar to this?
Fortress monastery wise it’s broken up into 2 places on the planet. The big show off castle, and a smaller area utilized as the chapters records and prison
I'm bored what should I draw
God why is the ram head on the wrong fucking side of the punch weapon
It's supposed to be a type of piston
Probably one or 2. Idea is there’s 4 main groups
Need to really think up their aesthetics
It's like armordrillo
Those pumps come down and his punches will probably send you flying
Eldar corsairs
Orks ( totally not a biased choice )
This 2nd one does happen to be in a volcano. But that’s just everyday shenanigans
Y’know
Yes but that works cause it literally has springs in it's arms and attached to the hand lol, a punch weapon should shoot the "weapon" part forward, think of the power fist from fallout
The volcano nearly incinerates their houses
Just a little bit of banter
Otherwise it's a really good idea to literally shoot out your arm like a rocket lol
Think I have the big boys of that area somewhere
Gimme a sec
Here we go. Magos Hugo (HU60) and Librarian Gawain
The way it works is just that you punch, in the piston immediately comes down and enhances your punch but i can see your criticism
That's one of the main ways armordrillo attacks
Hugo is dark mech and Gawain is a blind pysker
And an actual librarian
Ye but a piston shooting a normal hand forward like that is a good way to detach your forearm lol
Think I have a space marine from the natives
Apothecary
If I can find him
Wʉtukai
No art for any of the knight recruits but first name that comes to mind is Squire-Brother Pryce
Squires are just Scouts I should mention
That is why the armor is heavily augmented, because it needs to perform something along the lines of this
Him with his helmet
But i get what you mean
Yeeee, they are cool
I wonder how the cawdor, a gang made of religious trash pickers, get enoigh power and backing to hold out crusades in a hive city
It gets explained in their House book
its mostly a case of numbers and having a standing with the ecclesiarchy presence in Hive Primus
Most numerous, backing of out world forces
Even funnier when House Greim who's supposed to control weapon production and part of the military is treated like a minor house
Was it on world Ecclesiarchy ? I though it was the out world one while the Necromunda one was mostly associated with the Spy gang or something
Yeah but I though they were not on good standing
They are
^
They even use cawdor's for their own stuff even offworld
just like real life religious officials dont really give a shit what you do as long as you praise the true deity

Wich btw kriegmeisters and jagerkin got godly designs
Especially jagerkin for keeping that first edition Imperial guard style in part
what is an auric level operative anyway? the wiki refers to auric as a planet
It's another warband inside of Grendyl's Acolytes
Nothing far reaching
Auric just mean gold/golden
Minor in the Gang war, not in the Necromundan gerance no ?
Yep
They control the pdf and control the weapon production of also the other houses
So just a fancy word for "high level/tier"
More or less yeah
We also have Mortis Operatives who are supposed to be even higher
I wonder if the "Spider" were created by them
(imperial edition cosmetic ones for the uniform)
So either I stole these or I moonlight as a Psyker tutor?
If you mean the regiment nay, they are another gang
The cosmetics dont realy have lore
you just wear them
Don't count everything we own as "canon" for us, especially considering how we have various regimental gear and such.
Or else the poor brig commander is getting his jackets stolen by half the warband vets
also what do you mean by Spider

Funnily enough the spiders regiment gets even paid For fighting offworld
Isnt there a Vet backstory that would fit? I also like to imagine they confiscated the jacket but theyre like "yeah, you havnt died yet. fuck it. keep the jacket"
That doesnt work because theres so many conflicting cosmetics
its where gameplay =/= lore comes in
pretty much the only in-game lore accurate gear is the base game inquisitorial gear, aka the armor with the black/red stuff.
Loose Cannon could fit
But even then there's the fact we have voicelines for people with the same voice pack playing together
also Cadian wearing Steel Legion gear is jarring lol
Anyhow yeah, consider them as either clothes you stole, clothes that were bought/requisitioned from the commissary or standard warband gear
With the exception of store sets wich are their own characters within the warband technically
Wich also most probably were part of the warband from way before us and so not rejects
The lore of generic gear is more of a "this is what this gear was used for before being acquired by you"
Wait who made the Spider regiment ?
How come no one talks about Inquisitor Sabbathiel having updated art
Her arms still make no senses
I'll accept, difficultly but I'll accept
because her stupid face is stupid
Welp, anyone want to bet if she tries fighting the lion?
I give her 12 seconds
so you assume the lion will feel like humoring her
no, for her brain to process things as her life flashed before her eyes if he beheads her.
oh no you see, the brain can function without the heart for a few seconds being removed from the body. The longest it can last is 30 seconds before it shuts down. No doubt the Lion would kill her before a drop of water from a stalactite hits the surface.
probably, but its 40k so who cares.
Two nanoseconds, Lion is grumpy and old now
lol
So odd question, but do you think the risen will be offered the primaris treatment by the DA?
Why wouldn't they
objectively speaking becoming primaris makes you a better killing machine
Now this makes me curious has there been other inquisitors that have utilized power armor besides this bitch?
Many
She's just notable for being one of the only depictions of a human in terminator armor iirc
I see
Will you give me some the other that you know that has worn power armor
Solomon Lok
Coteaz
Greyfax
Kyria Draxus
Hector Rex
a big chunk of the named ones all have power armor
Also there used to be a generic data sheet for an inqusitor in power armor
Hmm interesting, i guess sabathiel is unique in a sense that she's in terminator armor
If only her personality was likable
i mean she does have one saving grace on that front
she hates space marines so cant falt her for that lol
Yeah, but she ain't special for that plenty of things hate space marines
true
If it weren't for the fact that she wasn't in chaos, i would have put her in a blind date with Erebus
Inquisitors can kinda just get whatever they want so of course they want equivalents to space marine armor
It probably cost a whole planet to make
that feels like a stretch
We are ignoring the Inquisitor lord that walks around in a half dreadnought mech
The git on the throne of judgement?
We're ignoring fyodor kazamarov for someone who wanted a larp suit like a literal 40k equivalent of buying space marine cosplay armor on etsy
No comparison kazamarov is dumber
Inquisitors used to have better stats than chapter masters and abaddon at one point
Fyodor Kazamarov
since when do astartes have lieutenants
Since the heresy technically
Since Gw realised that people would pay for them?
They didn’t have them till guilliman came back
In modern 40K
But they’ve existed in HH forever
which edition were they added
7th edition was when GW released horus heresy as a game
So 7e technically
They had a dif name but served the same purpose
so did 40k have lieutenants
as primaris?
Both
There’s both a firstborn LT. And a primaris one
Firstborn one doesn’t have a mini though you’re supposed to kitbash it
If you wana ask why there’s so many primaris lt. Minis I don’t fucking know
Because they sell very well and are stable molds ?
Same thing as I just said
you're only ever going to use one at a time
That one doesn’t exist actually
It’s a kitbash
Because people buy them
who's buying 6 captains
Why there’s so many captains Idfk
You’d be suprised
each SINGULAR model is 50$
i still can't believe im holding 45$ worth of plastic
Lol
Warhammer fans aren't the brightest
then you see kitbash videos where some crusty old drawer is opened and there's hundreds of parts that the youtuber just cuts away at
Some kits have a lot of extra bits
Most admech kits can almost make 2x the quantity of guys
You just need bodies
For marines yeah idfk
You didn’t get a lot of extra arms with most boxes
Or heads
the 9th edition starter box i have with me has two build options for the sergeant
either with a bolt pistol in hand and chainsword at his hip or with chainsword in one hand and plasma pistol in the other
the model is made so the chainsword at the hip is replaced by a helmet on a maglock and his head is bare
i hate bare heads and i wanted the plasma pistol so i had to give my sergeant a plasma pistol on the left hand and a bolt pistol on the right one
john wick space marine dual wielding pistols
Pog
From building 5 tanks 2 leviathan's some tartaros and mk3 marines and an age of darkness box set I have a lot of bits
Like a portion of a gallon bag of pintle mounts turret or sponson moumts
Are there ever any mages that use sword and shield or any form of shield for that matter
Shield and staff I guess
Magic axe
I think grey knights are the only example
Or the librarian from space hulk death wing using a storm shield
your right there only Gk use it unless your going to do some custom models, long a go Terminator Captians and Chaplains did have the options (4-7th edition)
Iirc one of the generic inquisitor lords was in termie armor
Yes, you are correct sir
There’s Hector Rex
But he’s a named character
I mean in the first editions there was sheets for generic humans in power armour too
Yeah
But first edition doesn’t exist
Second edition is when the game started existing imo
It does and you can't take my mesh armour away
Or my jetpack gun guards
Look at him and admire him
so given the stance on old technology and such. If i were to blast some D-Rok on a boombox would i get branded a heretic?
or even Vinyl
No
It’s benign
A tech priest might want to look at it but you wouldn’t get in trouble
There’s plenty of tech in the imperium that can do the same thing
It would just be some Archeotech. Some Tech Priest might be interested in procuring it but other than that nothing really noteworthy
i'll take it
Also you might get paid for it
If the tech priest isn’t an asshole
But that’s a coin toss
And even then something simple like that could also be seen as lower tech from some backwater planet
There are planets that literally use Muskets
Hell, it could be just normal tech thinking about it, seeing how stuff like vox casters is basically just a Radio backpack
fair enough.
Ye, Archeotech is more reserved to stuff that's old but also high tech for the 40k standard
But, if instead of just a vynil you find an stc of a vynil you are golden
Because no matter how not useful it may be an stc is still an stc
In fairness that's Birmingham
Do you think they will have a heart attack when you show them a las gun
isnt GW's HQ outside Birmingham?
Nottingham
Nottingham; between Birmingham and Sheffield then head east
ah ok
Author seems based, hope the book is gud
Ah yes, the heavy bolter without an ammo backpack
Yeah nah theirs was always a smaller ammo-cache
the size is not a lot but its the same as "where do marines store all their bolter-rounds"
When in doubt gib back the Jove
shoulder mounted bolters are underrated af
I always mount that one as in lore they use the harness bits and such a lot more but due to rule of cool it doesn't appear in covers and models
yeah very much so
Yay
up their asses ofc
the real question is. how do they fit 30 25mm rounds in a mag that size
exactly
is there a single use of the word mommy in 40k
outside of scenes with children and their mothers i doubt it
im sure some poor guardsmen has cried for their mommy at times
the usage of homelander is ironic in this context and i hope you had that intention
🥛
for the first time ever
yes
it was intentional
Since the unleashing of the Great Rift, which Order of the Adepta Sororitas have it the worst at the moment? Or is currently at risk of being completely wiped out?
Cause I'm sure a number of shrine worlds that were garrisoned by the Sisters of Battle were caught in the blast when the galaxy went Split
i love the euphemisms used by 3d file makers to avoid getting automatic copyright detections
i am now calling my car the lad mobile
My pronoun are officially combad walker/slim boi
Guess what this is
It is in 40k
Hey my favorite inquisitor, i have a genuine question to ask you
Like usual
whats up
You still play darktide yes?
How is it now
Is it worth for me to try coming back
If they don't drop anything ork related on orktober, i will personally go shark hunting at the fat shark hq

Very random. But I’ve been lookin at some of the lore of dudes orniris has drawn for people. And I think this statement is more accurate than I thought
Found a space marine who’s been alive for 10,000 years.
No warp no nothing
He’s just from the 2nd founding
god
Mothafucka got injured to the point where he needed a dreadnought. Know what they did instead? Put him in slightly bigger termie armor
Then there’s the whole character of this same chapter who’s the size of a primarch
And a tech marine who knows more than cawl
The reason why space marines go to dreadnoughts is because the dreadnought has enough room to carry a life support system
I'm not a custodian I swear!
EXACTLY
Wanna guess what’s up with his sword?
Definetly has Atleast 2 daemons inside
STOP IT
Ah yes, Perturabo, the infamous Eldar Magic user
The sword is literally “yeah this character made it so my OC could use it”
Perty would never make something he wouldn’t use
MAJESTY
Oh yeah I should mention. These dudes were declared traitors
And are now fighting their way to g man
So he can revoke their traitor status

It's a Skitarii Marshal
The bullshit that is this fellas lore
Listen, Tyberos and Alexis were tall
BUT NOT PRIMARCH TALL
All the Alpha Legion SM were Primarch level
i literally can't imagine myself making a character who's not very weak or mentally scarred. how do these people seriously make up such overpowered characters
Tyberos is normal sized
Fun fact there
Btw mfs disrespecting Vaul by making his color fucking purple
I thought his height was just super exaggerated?
Neat
Yes, he's normal sized
People just say he's massive because there's fan art with a rhino in the background d
Most Iron Hand are taller than their Primarch
Also can I DM you something
