It KINDA depends
Tyranids don't really have blood so much as an internal fluid filled with phage cells, its definitely venomous and filled with deadly micro-organisms but its not really acidic iirc
because people get doused in tyranid blood all the time lol
probably just uhhh avoid skin contact
sometimes micro organisms are bad, sometimes don't think about it
💀
Orcs when they hear the local humans says "my squigga" and start a waagh!
Humans never learn v.v
me stumbling into a mcdondalds at 4am after 15 pints
abominatus, it would be fun to see him with modern art
i don't know tbh lol, does guns and arms literally sprout from out of nowhere lol
the miniature was very much less fancy lol
It's a Titan possessed by a demon so
eh
It's cool
oh no i don't meant it's not cool, i mean more like it would need a bit of a redesign to fit them all properly on "modern" image
like, his left arm is coming straight out from under it's face in the old art lol
i don't mind that as long as they keep his general aesthetic
yeah yeah that for sure
the design is there
but like now that i look at that left arm more the minigun is literally just a servo arm with minigun barrels, it looks more like a kanabo lol
(a kanabo)
now that i got a good luck yeah i can see where you're coming from
It always looks like someone made an art piece for a Luchador
Must be one hell of a luchador if he uses chainsaws for hands
It more or less reminds of a teen's sketch in a notebook where he's at the edgy phase.
like disregard the background and just outline the titan, I can picture that being drawn in a student's notebook you'd share a class with
"Guys this is my original character blood saw"
Yeah I can see it
But yeah, Abominatus needs to get pulled off from the dusty shelves and get put in the spotlight again. Getting an updated art piece for it would be metal.
It's one of those old things that is so cool you wonder why they haven't used it yet
I wonder if they even remember it exists at this point.
don't worry i'm sure they will remember it
turns on the copium chamber
Cause it's an imperator titan fused with a bloodthirster, they would need an Asspull bigger than the emperor ex machina of Godblight to bring it down
(also probably keeping it for an Arkifane/Dark mechanicus future army thingie)
I'm going through copium therapy until the Astra Militarum gets some more love again and updated minis, speaking as an I.G fan boy.
I'm still surprised how almost no one even knew Ku'Gath was slain by a guardsmen in the plague wars
there is another option
I thought it was the Grey Knight's Librarian
Colonel Odrameyer
He rammed ku gath with a leman russ, climbed out, and pulled a shadow of the colossus by stabbing him in the skull with his PS
Bro is the definition of "that guy"
every time someone calls them "astra militarum" they delay working on guard new models another day.
Best part is that he killed another Gto before in the same war lol
My man has a daemon kill count higher than most marines
(also the heavy bolter growing legs and getting the fuck out was funny)
bro is built differently
Capital B for being an absolute Badass. Any story that doesn't have an Astartes taking the limelight is always cool to listen to. Just the average human in the Guard kicking Chaos in the ass.
Sadly this is in Godblight so... Lots of marines
it perfectly fits the phrase "Drive me closer, I want to hit them with my sword."
He doesn't seem to have a lot of art
I'm pretty sure he's just explained on words right?
Ye
He's the colonel of a regiment where miracles and other stuff started happening a tad too muxh
And so was approached by Mathieu and the gang
With like a "oh you got fake living saints too? Sweet" kind of vibe
Especially after one of their preachers saved the regiment by channeling a tornado of flames That only hurt poxxers
With a literal stare-down from the heavens by the emperor as that happened
he was part of the Cadians which are essentially the poster boys for the Guard. just like how the Smurfs are to the Space Marines.
god damn that preaching must be extra spicy
Yep, lol
Sadly he literally disappears into nothingness Literally the moment it ends
It was extra spicy
the preacher just disappeared?
" Alright so you casted this powerful spell and as for the payment it's not your energy it's your life force, fuck off"
- the emperor claiming his soul
He got “Malcadored” like on the golden throne
I loved godblight
Now if only they brought up this whole fake living saint stuff any other time after it Atleast once lol
“I don’t have time to explain why I don’t have time to explain” moment
|| big e kinda had a huge part in the battle and it was the most weve ever seen his power manifest ||
Spoilers for godblight be wared
if only he manifested his power to be a better father
even a basic lecture would have just worked fine
So is fulgrim and cringe deamon fulgrim gonna fight or some shit
No.
Clonegrim is just a plot device forever locked away in trazyn's museum, hes not going anywhere.
Clonegrim was literally falling to chaos
so they might just become friends lol
Oh damn
also the author has stated he felt Clonegrim was a mistake
which is why he got fridged lol
Lmao
but he was in too deep
I thought the concept was cool when i heard he was cloned
by the time he realized hm fuck
its cool but like
this is an issue
fans overblew the hell out of it
when its just a mcguffin plot point
if it was anything but a primarch nobody would remember it
Cant wait for the fulgrim and clonegrim romance arch
to chaos the same way as fulgrim lol
and bile realizes this
and has a oh shit moment
Yeah that makes more sense
Kinda seemed half baked ever more info i learned about it
really shows how many people read that book

it is a good book
but clonegrim is arguably the least intresting part of it
Hes the primarch of slaneesh it would make sense
I want to own all the books
But i already play the game so my wallet couldn’t handle it
the omnibus is still being sold iirc
but if you like chaos books
and want like actual evil people
but not like too comically evil
the Bile books are great
well what part of lore
I think im autistic how hyper focuse and lore hungry i get on things i like
if you want like an overview of everyone I'm gona recomend the core rule book

bcs it has every faction
pretty much sumarized
if you want chaos books, Night Lords Trilogy, The Talon of Horus and Black Legion, Ahriman trilogy and The Bile trilogy
are my recomendations
Its got a lot of chaos stuff
its not just Emperors children
Talon of Horus and Black Legion sorta fall into bolter porn territory
same with the Night lords book
but it isn't that bad
I also really enjoy salamanders so any books containing them are good for me too
He is a very based guy from what i heard
So i think you would enjoy it
Tuchulcan engine when it gets reused by Vashtoor after decades of not being mentioned be like
Toçolka Engine my beloved
Unusually large W of GW allowing legends units in comp play as stand ins for existing units
Just stuff thats no longer in production
this is one of the first times they've just striaght up said you can proxy x thing as this list of stuff
Neat
didn't know the gorgon heavy transport was a legend unit
So here's an odd question, but which space marine gene line has the highest successor chapter to traitor warbands?

I forgot the word ratio.
Probably ultrarmarines, by sheer number variety
They meant ratio
of like loyalist to traitor
which we don't have much info on
Yeah i dont think so
Yeah, my guess is through the sheer number of marines it's probably Guillimans like
I'll give an example. Before the Primaris came about, there only one loyalist successor to the space wolves. However, there are currently 3 chaos warbands that are from the space wolves.
AH I see
Oh
There's a lot of odd chapters descended from him as it is
we could start by eliminating all the founding chapters which don't have any traitor successors
They had 2 traitor war bands from them
i don't think imperial fists have any
and then 1 that was probably a traitor warband
Yeah i hate giving this answer but you might have to go to the lexicanum and search for every little chaos chapter that the wiki mentions might have traitor roots.
Because some have been mentioned in lore.
They have a few iirc
Like there was one successor chapter which got trapped on a nurgle planet
and got slowly corrupted
etc
dark angels?
is there any squeaky clean chapter
they are all bad

Dark Angels also have the uhhh
The Fallen
from Transformers 2
iirc
yeah there's a slaaneshi warband descended from the Crusaders of Dorn
Lmao
yeah the issue is
a lot of these chapters are like
1 fucking note on a codex sentence
so finding them is very difficult
theres not many famous ones
it's an interesting challenge though
Def
finding the cleanest founding chapter
The ratio has changed now that there are primaris successors for the space wolves.
Id help out with the effort but im occupied making an Attillan atm, you guys go get em
SUBTLE BTW
there's an iron hands successor chapter called iron fists
that isn't confusing at all
They have got 3 successors thank to primaris.
Yooo
MARVEL REFERENCE?

We just just don't know anything about them about the wolfspear.
one of them is a world eaters warband
the other is a word bearers warband

THE FUCK IS GLADIATOR GROUP 138????
oh my god their leader is called fucking "kraagon gorefist"
who has a "slaughtercrown" from khorne
i don't think iron hands have any traitor successors at all
does it?
of all loyalist founding chapters it's like the one with the least reasons to love the imperium
But they love the admech.
Also, has anyone ever managed to make a model of their unique dreadnought carrying land raider?
They have a stick up their ass
unironically there prolly is one
but GW isn't gona name them
bcs almost all the traitor warbands in codexes boil down to
used to be loyal now traitor
google it
40k kitbashers do some crazy shit
Witness Orktimus Prime as one example
man this guy is not having a good time lol
Oh man I have all the types of those artworks
they basically had 1 chaos marine
in that same pose
and edited it like 10 times
lmao
maybe the fact that they don't have a chapter master and instead put power to a council has a lot to do with their loyalty
we're not counting split off factions
Seems like someone only done a cad model of it.
Damn
Huh.
I can't tell
i've perused the store enough to know that this thing is originally from a 40k land raider so no
It's just someone's interpretation.
ah yeah my bad
i prefer the horus heresy land raider so much more
they use the 40k one tho
or are you talking about the proteus
which is the Rogue trader lookin one
is that tau
I only see these in warhammer games
like the video ones
lmao
They are cool props tho
lmao
yeah everytime I see them
they're being used as terrain
not the actual like tabletop thing
Oh my fucking god it has an upgrade sprue????
modular defences
I wonder why they don't use that tau scheme
for like their units
its a very nice sandy color
Huh. I wonder if the fist exemplar got reborn when the primaris came out, like the soul drinkers did.
and the lamentors
kind of a cheap out by GW to have them magically recover their numbers
Checking and nope
very weird because they aren't a one-note Chapter either
lol
Well, they did get disbanded after a company signed up with the iron warriors.
Far from the worst thing a marine chapter has done
they simply did a little bit of trolling
I still cant get over the fact that Dilara is a warhammer fan AND a woman, i tought those conditions repelled each other
Tf is that a toilet lid?
Ive been a fan since like 2008 and going strong ✊
The best way to love warhammer is to also hate it

sounds like my relationship with Destiny 2
FUHHH, thanks for taking as a joke, i said it without realizing, and the i just hit me the repercussions it could have gone, thanks for understanding the joke
fuhh
i just had shitty day and didnt tought it that much
thanks
yeah sorry i have a lot of shit going on, im sick, i have to study for a final, light cutted in my town today for 4 hours and its hot
Its alright dude, you cool
a lot of shit going on
So how much flavour is there within the dark mechanicus?
Basically anything and everything
they are allowed to invent and do whatever they want but the authors just stick to
"PUT DAEMON INTO ROBOT"
They suffer a bit from barely being explored in the lore unfortunately so kinda fall into generic pitfalls.
Tbh that is the best way to get something to work
Ok so i have a question
if you kill a lot, but like A LOT, like a changoos amount, were talking warhammer amounts here, but you get morbid pleasure out of it, wold that be Khornate or Slaneeshi?
A big part of it is why are you fighting?
Do you love the thrill of putting yourself in mortal danger? Do you care more about proving you're the best by winning the fight than actually killing your enemy? Do you show off when you fight, with lots of flashy moves that are more about looking cool than being effective? Do you get hard at the thought of feeling the vibrations through the handle of your weapon as it cuts through flesh and snags on bone? Do you look at combat injuries as a nice little bonus instead of something to be avoided?
If you answered yes to any of these, you're probably empowering Slaanesh when you fight.
On the other hand, do you love to just RIP AND TEAR? Do you think the blood of your enemies is the only acceptable paint color? Does being a better warrior only matter to you in the context of killing more dudes? Have you ever killed someone just because you thought they had a neat skull? Are guns, magic, tactics, strategy, mercy, and reasonably sized melee weapons only for pussies?
If you answer yes to any of these, then Khorne is probably your dude.
Right so this makes me realize something
games workshop probably invented khorne first
and then the rest of chaos gods
and thats why he is kinda basic in comparasson
the first three were khorne, nurgle and malal
(and also thanks, but next time you dont have to write a fucking bible, like jesus chirst are you ok?)
khorne was basically just a bargin sale khaine though, he was also in the book.
Least dedicated warhammer fan
legit
also dont listen to Orin thats not how it is

Basically all 4 chaos gods were made together way back when
like if you mean as a product for the lore obviously
none of them really came after each other, all 4 were written together for a release on the narrative when warhammer was first around
bookwise, tzeentch and slaanesh are a year and change later.
5
all 5
malal was a core part of it.
being the "undivided chaos" element.
no he wasnt
Right, so this make me realize what i could turn into if i keep reading warhammer
like geez louis, this bitch is pulling out some tzeentch shit right here
you either become insufferable, or you stop taking it seriously.
i chose the righteous path of jokey banter.
and yes, malal was
he existed before realm of chaos, in the RPG with khorne and nurgle
that's the older book.
Ok, so who is this malal guy and why is he lookin me good?
he's legally forbidden from appearing in GW products due to GW trying a little too hard to not pay their writers at the time, but he's also the chaos god of chaos.
That comic series is old af and nobody here is old enough to probably even remember it.
Neither him or even ya boi Kaleb Daark
either way when the chaos gods were first made he wasnt a part of the big 4 so that shoves him straight into the dumpster bin that is the warp
he believes there's not supposed to be any chaos gods or any hieachey within chaos and is in an endless bitchfit about it trying to kill the other four.
Wait, so that means that all the chaos gods are his bitches'
no, but also yes, but again no.
malal is the core of what makes chaos work, though.
Me when someone asks me if theres good guys on warhammer:
which is sort of the problem for chaos. it doesn't work if you math it out without the element of pure chaos, which is malal, but because you can't have a malal without GW having to address legal nonsense the hole remains.
oh like chaos players care if they operate on plotholes.
i never said he mattered. none of the chaos gods mattered,
you could replace them every couple years and nobody would care.
that's not importance, that's just being legally salable.
the big 4 have been a part of the setting since almost warhammer was made
also it is importance
people like the Big 4's schticks
changing them basically would make no sense
if GW owned malal we'd have a crapton of product for him.
So basically youre saying that chaos cant have order?
according to malal, no. according to selling plastic toys, they can.
Malal is just not around because they just didn't want to invest anything in some rando deity.
So into the bin he goes
🗑️
you mean they don't want to lose a lawsuit.
They wouldnt
its some guy vs a company
the entire thing with legal cases is just hiring the best lawyer
Sometimes i just fucking hate capitalism
the law is pretty much settled, if they try to claim him they have to either buy him off the guy or get hit with the eaiset lawsuit in the world. dudes will happily do it on contingency just to shit on GW.
~~(and england) ~~
and GW's famous for being skinflints.
You already have an entire range with the 4 chaos gods that make money.
Why go for some edgy side-project
slaanesh is "some edgy side-project"
Not really, again.
Because theyre british?
Never subestimate the internets horniness
Chaos in its general is fun because its edgy though so its also kind of missing the point.
no, because they've got the most dumbass businessmen in the hobby industry.
chaos is arguably entirely missing the point as a faction.
Its really not.
I feel like you are just having another hot take moment

about the same reign as "GW is hiding their sales from stockholders"
I mean, im not into tabletop, but if i had the money, i will buy this good looking fella, to have it in a shelf
i feel like you're unwilling to accept chaos is a really stupid faction in context of warhammer itself, but is popular due to imaging.
man i pity anyone dumb enough to try to paint that thing as their first mini
they are interdimensional evil gods with crazy mortal followers
its really not that deep
theres no point to it
its a plastic toy game
lmao
(reminds him that dilara is a mod, and she can be a mean bitch if she wants to)
💀
anyway
Also the entire reason they even exist is GW was just ripping off Michael Moorcock at the time
and it just stuck
Same as how they just stole the chaos star because yolo
if a mod slaps me with infractions because they're losing an argument, it looks worse for them than me.
Yes but again, this is discord, and this crazy ass bitch demonstrated some passion, never doubt her
it's funny how lawsuit happy GW is given all their works are mostly counting on nobody bigger noticing and suing them for infringement.
I mean thats how business works?
Money is money
At the end of the day its their product
skirting the law is usually very stupid business. it's mostly that the hobby industry doesn't go noticed by most other industries.
(and theyre british)(im argentinian)
You can copyright stuff as long as you change a few minor things.
GW has done it for a long time and has gotten pretty good at it.
i mean i wouldn't say good. practiced.
same reason how when they sell LOTR minis they include a trademark in almost every unit name since it doesnt belong to their company
I mean it doesnt matter if its good
its their product still
and money has to come from somewhere

Isnt there a faction that is straight a copy from terminator?
and one they created just to sell figures to gundam fans?
Tau?
Kinda?
The eastern market appeal never really went through with them since anyone just bought them instead.
It was pretty funny.
early necrons were, now they're a mishmash of the lefotover tomb king ideas and a couple 80s novels novody's read.
And people love em still
they pretty much have gotten their own identity
the tomb king thing doesnt go much beyond the egyptian aesthetics
Is the imperium ripped from somewhere?
Yes
everywhere lol
Mostly just influenced from IRL fascist regimes with catholic rome
and anything else GW just threw in for aesthetics
although to be fair, briton had a wierd thing for catholic rome so that could have just be to sell minis.
(this infomration makes me wonder why warhammer is even populat tbh)
BLIND LUCK
It wasnt really to sell minis
it was just to parody a corrupt church system
the ecclesiarchy was always cringe
the general cathedral aesthetic tho was simply because it looked cool
Im fairly surprised the empire in Warhammer fantasy isn't more British, they stuck to the German/Holy Roman empire thing pretty well
Its a mish mash of every sort of thing in fiction genre wise, it attracts people from that.
all their competitors at the time suddenly came down with a bad case of "goddamn idiots" and destroyed themselves so warhammer had no real competition for about a decade and by then they were too big to take on.
and so im a moron if i like the videogames?
Kinda. They're closer to an Undead skeleton army faction the terminator thing is more visual and they pulled back pretty hard on it later
Yeah the terminator thing really didnt last long
now its just a leftover "cool" aspect thing
You did?
I can't believe you'd say that in front of my sloppity bilepiper
Ok so you see, thats why i find being a woman and a warhammer fan incompatible, bad financial managmente is a dudes thing tbh
i can't even tell if that's a real unit.
chaos players standards are so low....
this is just a soccer fan.
WHAT THE HECK IM A LOOKING AT
what happens when the sculptors don't recieve their hourly beatings.
I have a question, what the heck is a noise marine?
its a space marine devoted to slaanesh
marine that likes noise.
they blast you with sonic weapons
And how is that related to slaanesh at all?
well, they blast away with sonic weapons and presumably you have to fight them.
Slaanesh is about excess which can be anything
their choice of sound is mostly heavy metal and such.
the old ones had super guitars. for some reason it was deemed more silly than awesome
and its not, its just ear-rupturing noises and daemonic "music" which cant really be put into any category as per the books for the most part
which is wrong
really the "that's no real music them kids play" joke overshooting people keeps surprising me.
(as its natural on slaanesh)
You also really need to read more into Slaanesh
and forgo the whole "shes just about sex" thing
Ok so yure telling me that if fall down the stairs and that hurts A LOT, that can be slaaneshi?
no lmao
Im telling, you it hurts me in excess
and get enjoyment out of it? Thats when it starts
ah ok
If you enjoy it then yeah
The sonic blaster of a noise marine is actually whispering three words every time its fired. "Raid Shadow Legends".
so modding a server for free because you like it could count as service to slaanesh.

how about an Excess of Hoarding minis you have to paint?
So why havent you killed us yet? no, its tzeench
banning me is pointless anyways, more of me will show up.
Thats slaaneshi
nurgle is sloth do to apathy, slaanesh is sloth as amusement.
tzeentch ins sloth as a means of provoking others
khorne is gonna get mad if you ain't out killing.
I'm surprised there isn't a model or artwork of a fat Slaaneshi worshiper. Like, wouldn't an excess of eating "the finest" foods count towards it?
oh I spoke too soon
i hate that models so much, no business being a tabletop unit.
it's a friggin' diorama!
should rename the mini to Nikocadus
Fellas, I’m still new to the whole 40k thing but from what I gathered so far, angron was kinda gonna turn out and join chaos or otherwise end up as a failure for the emperor no matter what the emperor did
Is that right?
Yep
the Emperor could not save him from the nails
he oversaw him on a literal medical slab
What’s the line between model and diorama? Wouldn’t something with a tactical rock or decorated base be a diorama?
eh, if he didn't turn chaos he woulda turned traitor regardless.
Even if he did save his friends too I think Angrons hate of slavers and overlords would make him despise the emperor over time anyway
Further by the nails
Pretty much that yeah
Angron just became broken because of the nails instead which is the only drastic difference
Poor guy never had a chance
diorama has to depecit an enclosed scene. a dude standing on a chariot is not a diorama because there's no internal context. this dude is literally on a big platfrom having lunch, which does not involved any outside context.
He was ready to die. then Lorgar went " Ayyyy my brother, Im gonna do some magics to make sure I can save you."
He’s one hell of a force of nature now though
Angron would have either forced the Emperor to kill him or died from the nails a couple decades after the HH began imo
i mean. russ probably woulda done it before the nails got him, knowing how they used the wolves back then.
Russ literally could not even kill Horus

he fucking spared him
he did the same to Angron too
I think he was about to die when Logan began the ritual to turn him into a daemon Primarch
they fought and then just fucking LEFT
Russ might not have killed him
Not sure though, I’ll listen to Betrayer for the tenth time and get back to you
I'm just wishing Angron could die, out of pity for the poor bastard
Russ and the wolves together though
they wrote that after they wrote the bige finale that has horus in it, so it was more the editors stepping and going "uh, actually you can't hurt him at this point".
Have you read any of the Arks of Omen books
wasn't russ the primarch designed to kill other primarchs or am i thinking of another

ehhh....
Only the one where Farsight is trying to not go crazy with the blood god whispering in his ear
Yeah but he couldn’t kill Angron. Plus the World Eaters beat the Space Wolves
Because they killed more space wolves than they lost
I know, i was just curious if i remembered that right
Watch arbitrator ian's recaps they are great
But the Angron book involves Angron going in to destroy a Dark Age of Technology device called the Choral Engine, its making a MASSIVE psychic noise in Angron's ears and theres an apocalpytic scale battle as he reaches the center of the device
He kills a shit ton of grey knights
And is about to destroy it
and he is HOPING
it finally fucking kills him

As he destroys it and it blows up killing him with it he just respawns later on
Choral Engine: "Death? You want it? It's yours my friend!"
well the grey knights were close to killing him no?
Dude got that Spider-Man luck
Almost
like im not kidding when i say it was a massive fight
and yeah angron's plot armor came in clutch
why?
No universe where he can catch a break
man literally too angry to die
Before he destroys the Engine he also feels Khorne's literal presence behind him too
Eh fuck ‘em, only thing I don’t like more than the Ultramarines are the Grey Knights. So if they got pounded I’m all for it
You are looking at a key player in what will eventually become my large Maraviglia inspired concert diorama
excuse me
dont you like the 666th chapter
whos recruits go through 666 trials
and only 1 out of 1000 recruits survive?
I just need several thousand dollars in printed plastic and acrylic paint
actual lore btw
Can’t wait for the lion and ghaz to WWE Tag team angron
“Oh he’s got the steel chair!”
God I deeply desire emps children to get a refresh Fulgrim is my favourite primarch aside from magnus
and the Lion is on the top ropes!
I loved the part where Lion El'johnson showed up and El Johnson'd all over the place
The part where the lion no longer sleeps tonight
I just don’t like it when they go “That’s one less loose end” to anyone not affiliated with them if they fend off a Chaos Incursion. And that ain’t the dumbest training procedure: looks at Exorcists chapter doing another Daemon possession
can we all acknowledge that they did they on purpose
The Lion has the dumbest loyalist "death" leading into 40k
Yeah its fucking moronic
I really want the clone of fulgrim to face off against demon fulgrim and see what's happenedd to his chapter
he legit just takes a long ass nap for seemingly no reason
Then there was that whole Blood thing the G Knights did with the Sisters of Battle
You gotta take POWER naps
he's bill from L4D
just too tired of all of it
You know its bad when GW literally retcons the next edition
also based Left 4,000 reference
cigarette jumpscare btw watch out
Bring back Obi-Wan-Sherlock, a name that sounds like it was written in a Fanfic Novel
Ah nah😂
what coincidence that im playing that right now
Does angron ever catch a break?
Like any point in his life where something actually works out in their favor
I'm gonna give a definitive "no"
Damn
Look at his art works. Does that look like the kind of guy that catches a break?
Angron ironically
He was meant to be the healer
is a slave to everyone
first the Imperium then to Chaos
except for the latter he has no escape
Anakin:”First time?”
unless someone true death's him
You think khorne cares for angron more then emperor?
Yeah somebody give this man a permadeath, he is just suffering
Or both just see him as a tool
He basically had the ability to face tank other peoples emotions and he seemingly existed for the purpose of soothing primarchs like Conrad
They they fucking lobomized him
Bruh
hes literally an evil eldritch god
mfer does not give a single shit

Best part is Khorne also wanted Sanguinius not Angron
But at least he’s honest compared to the other three. I choose getting killed by him than the alternatives
Character development-> Character development-> Character development->
If anything I'd say Khorne would kinda look down on Angron for being pathetic despite enjoying the carnage
Angron doesn't really have a sense of honour or fairness he's just hulk with two chainaxes
thats the best comparison i can make
also yeah that
like by M41 hes literally an animal
in his fight with Lion he says nothing
like he doesnt even remember him
LMAO
He’s the equivalent of a tractor driving across wheat crops to collect
Man cleaves through his enemies
Khorne would have rathered Russ than Angron lol
I don’t think any of khrones dudes have honor
He wanted Sanguinius tho did he not?
yeah no they dont
I think khorne straight up laughs at him in echoes
Khorne looks at Sanguinius: “MMMHHmm that blood looking mighty fine, boy”

Is it because of the blood rage thing
also I cannot believe
Sanguinius and Angron fought in the Siege
and Sanguinius went:
sorry Angron maybe next time
Dr Manhattan moment
Best part is he does it after deleting Kabandha
its the fucking pause before the slap that gets me
angron not even being that good in combat for a primarch would be the funniest irony ever
It’s that one anime trope where they edgelord blade master walks by his opponent who challenges him and in a single frame cut the opponent is cut to shreds
"Ay yo Kabanda: tell your homies who mcfucking sent you back" - Sanguinious thundercock m32
yeah Sanguinius is canonically aware that he has plot armor during the siege
its why he charges into everything
its fucking great
He's not that good, he's lost every fight he's had except against guilliman and Russ
Like Minecraft, his plot armor durability was weak when fighting Horus. He didn’t have enchantments
He can’t think tactically
kinda expected for a guy who's entire tactic is beat everything with a club
Sang is like the young anime protag
the Emperor probably had an enchantment table hidden somewhere
All other primarchs are doing crazy calculations in their heads during fights
Angron just “fuck it we ball”
He's gonna win by bashing his power-of-friendship-buffed forehead against everything
Well I wouldn't say all
But some don't have literally just "red" as the entirety of their thoughts
LMAO
angron is a joke without his demonic powers and god given body
thats so sad
Much as I love Vulkan, if another Primarch were to come back, I’d want Jaghatai. He’s going X games mode somewhere in the Webway
Vulkan was in the beast book anyway
Give us a loyal daemon primarch goddamnit
Bring back the king of sass
We will never hear the khans voice in TTS
And that’s a tragedy
Is there any chaos space marines who use xeno weapons, apart from Fulgrim's boys?
Ok, so quick question, what i know abut this fulgrim guy is that he was an emperor child, but he wanted some slanussy and turned wrong right?
He got a suspiciously shaped sword that spoke to him
It had a slaanesh daemon in it
And implanted some xeno tech in his space marines. As well.
Wait, does the sword really looks like a?
Fulgrim was always vain asf and a massive perfectionist so Slaanesh won him over eventually tho Fulgrim technically stays loyal for a long time before he's just too far gone
Kinda yea
Not really, its just scymithar
Nah the handle in most artwork is drawn different
Like this?
Yeah basically
ok, if you think this dirty youre straight up sick
but now that i see it it kinda.....
fuck, slaanesh is getting on my mind, that good looking femboys working
So yeah, any chance of Chaos pulling a deathwatch and using hand held xeno weapons.
Yeah
That version is cooler
I like that style of blade that's used in other Warhammer things
Quick one
Doing some homebrew wanna check summin
Dark angels when they had a home world
Was it basically medevil era
Ye just with chaos monsters too
Sucked to live on but it was like king Arthur but more sci Fi, like just below the imperium
What do purity seals do except make me mad when im painting
perturabo did nothing wrong
prove me wrong fuckers
also
rogal dorn is a daddys boy simp
rogal is also extremely autistic, in the lack of social awareness type of way in comparison to perty so
big L
perty is a whiny bitch but at least he knows what is going on
Oh cool
IW fans are really the weirdest bunch
you know who else didnt? konrad
ok and?
you tell me how perturabo was even close to konrad and ill listen to you
until then
From Hammer of Olympia
I never said anything about perturabo
ok here's something I been thinking about. So the Moebian 6th was apparently a specialized Imperial regiment before the corruption.
Does that mean they had dedicated units with webguns before that too? I guess for capturing high value targets or something? Or did that come after the Nurgle corruption.
And are netters/trappers even a thing in Imperial guard? 😄
The netter are based on a GSC mini
But Netter are something that you can obtain in the various rpg
Also Imperial guard regiments can basically model themselves after any doctrine.
This is mostly for tabletop homebrew freedom reasons
And also the fight's been going a while
And they're being corrupted by chaos
Which has a nasty side effect of driving people insane
So unit cohesion and stuff will probably break down and you'll see random stuff popping up
the trapper is a weirdly chill chaos cultist
like i've spent a lot of time staring at her from the floor and i'm not even sure she's angry? very giggly
Shes VERY excited about her job
if you look closer at her model you can see all the skulls she collected and also a big ass flaying knife on her back lmao
I can fix her
Warp ghosts use too technologically advanced stuff for the 40k universe, but that's due to time travel shenanigans more than xenotech
Scab bruisers literally the embodiment of we had two sticks and a rock, and we had to share the rock
Nah, warp ghosts should stay misteryous and a footnote
They would break so much shit if you would get literal time traveling mastering skinwalkers
On the center stage
Kinda like how the legion of the damned lost much of their appeal after they were said to be just the Fire Hawks going batshit insane
and yet she never stabs me. i wonder if that's a hint

That's... Actually true
Jokes aside its obviously for gameplay reasons but still
Yeah BoN still best one for the dating sim after all

Get some old arbites, you saw nothing back there
I really do like how much their design language didnt change at all
ok so let me get this straight
ogryn and vet are both usually either former guard, gangers, or both. Ok makes sense, the inquisition always needs a keen eye and some muscle to do their dirty work.
Psykers? They're officially sectioned and trained to not summon warp horrors and fight for the inquisition, a very usefully asset
Zealots...? They're like... Just some real angry dudes? A lot of them are preists or shrine workers so like.... former civilians basicity? Who are just really staby and loud.
Do I got that right?
Honestly i have not seen anything indicating that our psykers are sanctioned.

As far as we know they are Zealous and possibly from the Ministorum
And yes, there is thing that could point toward our psyker not really being sanctioned
Other than that yeah your pretty much right.
The psyker is just a wildcard (as all psykers are)
well I hadn't considered that about the psyker lmao
speaking of sanctioned psykers, I am trying to put together a coherent background for the Savant, with the background options we have.
We know they were Enforcers... so if I am getting it right, they probably ended up getting captured first, sent to the psyker school (forgot the fancy name) and THEN became Enforcers?
or what is the most likely scenario here for a Savant?
Adeptus astra telepathica
I think
I play seer psyker so i dont know anything about the savant
ok I booted up the game to look through the backgrounds. Most of the Psykers' "Defining moments" ends up with them being sent to Scholastia Psykana after getting captured
there is even a Black Ships option, but like... they would NOT return from that journey, no?
Not all of the psykkers in blackships go to the throne. Ones with potential are given to the psykana
I see, I see. That makes more sense then
Them getting sent there was very likely ON a black ship
so I guess the most logical timeline for a Savant would be getting sent to psykana -> become sanctioned -> get sent to Atoma to become an enforcer -> and then get jailed for one of those 4 "crimes" we can pick?
tbh, I kinda hate how limited Savant's background is with all this enforcer stuff. I should have picked Seer or Loner for less RP headache
Im pretty sure the seer is not sanctioned. Dude is unstable
Loner and Seer are deffo way more character rich yeah
Its why i went with Loner personally
went with savant, probably because I needed more brain cells because I kept picking loose cannon and brawler
Considering that those two are arguably the lowest brain cell count on their respective class
Seer is coolest
Cadian vet, seer psyker, bully ogryn, cant remeber the names of the zealots
Fanatic is the Scottish one
zealots are really just that, zealots
really preachy, really loud, lived under the ministorum control/has a fervent adhesion to the imperial cult
They are basically paladins that are really really really really ******* loud
And they don't tank they kill
yep, but without everything you need to properly be a paladin
Which might make them a religious berserker
a beggar could make a good zealot if he's really fervent and eloquent for what we know
(also technically there's the whole Frateris militia thing, so you can technically be of military origin too)
Are Redemptionists approved or disapproved by the Imperium?
Necromunda exclusive as far as im aware, but it's not impossible that similar cults already spread up inside other imperial worlds
One that aren't too dangerous are sent to the Telepatica. The more dangerous one are sent to the Throne. With some being sent to more rarer places.
Necromunda lore state that the Redemptionist (which mostly control House Cawdor have allies outworld)
just checked again, other redemptionist cults exist already, and the approval rate is entirely based on who you ask, your local governor may hate them, the local priest could love them and use them for a proxy war the next day
They aren't really considered to be unique
I wish I can be as seductive as Slaanesh or Tzeentch
Out of curiousity, but can only space marines drive their vehicles like land raiders and rhinos?
No, most of the time they have Chapter Serfs that take care of their vehicles
Nah they’re drivable by normal humans
Yeah, Sororitas have their own Rhinos to drive
So should Admech have their own rhinos then?
tbh i want to see an iron leg and iron angel model
also yeah the mechanicus has a fashination for building vehicles with legs for their own use
they really don't like being practical when your foot soldier can literally force march across a continent without stopping
see exhibit: Iron Strider
They have alternatives but yeah the rhino is a thing they can use
Skitarii don’t complain about marching for days with little to no rest
If they really need a transport dune riders exist
yep, or the horses, or the dunecrawler, or the atrax walker
If you're wondering why its open topped it has an energy shield
refractor field
more specifically
I love how this design is based off of the Higgins boat landing craft back in WW2
also this is already basically their rhino as it has even tank variants
Its very fun
The biggest downside of the Skorpius is that its a hover craft
which means its high maintenance
but the mechanicus is the last group to complain about fixing things
wich tbf is just the mechanicus standard
see the literal walkers that can't stop moving or else they don't know how to restart them
and Skitarii really don't give a shit about long distance marches so they don't use ground transports
a majority of the time
Which is just their motto from an ancient human history figure: "It just works".
They need to use the rocket version of inspiration.
there's also this thing from forgeworld
thats based on the Higgins
it costs an arm and a leg
Let me guess they aren't going to try to reverse engineer the damn thing
They have tried
the tech priest who made it left fail safes
as in the engine explodes
I mean fair precaution but Jesus Christ
the downside of literally building a perpetual motion machine
That little extension on the front of it reminds me of the Sherman Crab Flail Tank
Like it has some sort of nuclear component to it
and that component is rigged to blow
if you remove the wrong thing
Shame they can't just use freeze the explosion like some space marines can do.
Which the mechanicus is 99% sure is intentional
Now granted maybe it is accidental but with the amount of people that have blown themselves up trying to figure out how to make it
It probably isn’t worth it
You know what fine let the damn Turkey destroy the enemies
Tbh
The tech priest who made it struck a literal goldmine
Too bad he died before he could really set up more production lol
gorgo
did you know it used to come with like 60 DKOK minis lol
but they stopped doing it bcs they couldn't sell any infantry kits
holy shit
ultimate value amiright lol
Anybody has a Psyker from lore in their head that use techniques from multiple disciplines?
d'you think psykers in the stories last long enough for us to know?
i think the only example would be that inquisitor in ephrial stern and that might have just been writer confusion.
But no lore state that Psyker are restricted from using techniques from only 1 discipline. Like I'm getting down voted on reddit from saying that a Biomancy based weapon shouldn't be restricted to a Biomancer (and Surge already is one)
is this r40klore
Joemancer
Sadly no. I don't go there anymore. It was in the Darktide sub. But looking at that thread I also have a comment saying that the 2h Power Sword will most likely be for the vet which is in the negative
I was banned on my previous account from 40k lore iirc
How.
I want to see what kind of mental gymnastics it takes to say the 2h power sword won't be vet
lore wise i think it will be for space marine class
DEATH.
Iirc it was cause I created a thread that wasn't serious enough
Reminds me of how the regular Warhammer discord has no homebrew channel
💀
Mine was something about Imperial Saint Dogs. Like I will admit its not really a serious topic but still
R/40Klore is more friendly to homebrew
