One of the IA books that detailed Elysian wargear. I collected and played drop troops, I was just going through the Lexicanum article on them again to see if any new stories/novels had come out about them since I last checked.

they have a lot more mass then Astartes do and do shit that Astartes need to wear power armor for. Another way of looking at it is this: the space marine is a far more efficient machine then an ogryn will ever be. they are pretty much the optimal balance between physical strength and abilities, with mental capabilities.
An ogryn all ins on the physical side of the equation and puts minimal investment in the mental side of the equation.
case in point: An Ogryn will almost always charge you if told to engage the enemy, a Space marine will charge or flank depending on which would be the more effective option.
