When I was probably like, 12 or so I picked up a copy of Dawn of War 1 in a bargain bin at an appliance store. Played around with all the factions and had an ok time trying them out. Then I tried out the orks. Clicked on my unit of Slugga Boyz, got shouted at with "SOD OFF!" upon selecting and "UP YOURS!" when issuing a move order, and pretty much fell in love.

I remember Space Wolves had a story where they liberated an independent world from an evil upper class. The Space Wolve's Captain befriended the rebel leader. But when they won, the rebel leader would not yield to the Imperium and the Captain tried to "reason" with him but the leader would not listen. The Captain was genuinelt sad... but he still decimated the planet. I like the moral greyness of it but the Imperium is very "Duty Over Morals."
