Valkia’s brother showed his Slaanesh dedication through gluttony in ‘Valkia the Bloody’
So yeah. It’s not always about sex 🙂
Never was
Slaanesh's deal has always been excess but since the Eldar did murder fuck him/her into existence, people tend to link them to sex.
Also deamonettes with dildo arms are a meme
Yeah I have a friend who has this weird view of slaanesh because of the fan meme of him being a god of sex
because they like bdsm, and think that slaanesh is the only god that allows bdsm, therefore slaanesh=good and they should play a character in aos who deliberately assists slaanesh cults because "it's wholesome"
but you can enjoy bdsm without worshipping slaanesh
They didnt murderfuck
literally everything we've been shown to see them do is blood rituals/sacrifices/hedonism
sex is never mentioned at all, its just people being coomers
Imagine dark eldar but with psykers and wraithbone stuff and that's pre-fall eldar
And that's how they achieved the fall
dark eldar don't really have a lot of sex stuff so yeah
^
unless they're actual 40k players
those tend to have healthier sex lives, though tbf at most of the stores I've been at most of the 40k players have been chill lgbt folks too so maybe there's more incel players in more cursed places like ohio or the uk or something
despite getting a bad rep the southeast us has a shitload of lgbt folks in my experience tbh
Yeah thats correct
Last time censusing was done on it, southeast USA had higher minority pops in near every category
I mean it's literally the same like Yvraine being turned into a waifu. Memes caused this.
Yeah, I'm in Alabama for example and we don't have as many horrible backwards hick places as people make it out
They exist tho
In comparison Ohio, a mostly white state, still has sundown towns apparently
Yep LMAO
Its usually white suburbia that ends up being mega racist
So Ohio
SE Americans actually have to live by other races
Yep
west virginia is apparently really fucking racist tho
Its just really poor
i have a friend who initially went to their university back in college and he said that there were people who would just casually drop the gamer word
Now tbf I've met people like that here but this is also the dixie state
The difference is that the guy who did that was largely viewed as a dork
You'll see signs that remind you of Montana cults
He is now a cop
Classique

What better career path for such a man really
He tried to join the military, apparently he got rejected from three seperate branches
Applied for the police force and got trained in a few weeks
When the police are accepting military rejects you know shit's fucked when it comes to our law enforcement
Since the military will take literally anyone
wtf did i just witnessed on the earlier messages???
well it would be boring if there was no sex
?
don’t worry about it, it’s for your own good
lol k
thats just the term
Was there lore where it said Tau drones are treated as equals to such an extent that they can be married to Tau?
not quite
No, but they sure are cute!
My favorite excerpt remains where a firesight marksman dies but his sniper drones protect his body for weeks
they're like dogs yeah
Yeah and then fire warriors show up and it's like oh ye dead
HEyYYyyyy
Necron scarabs are best boys
I don't understand some things
If necrons try to become human
And mechanicus are trying to become robots
Why don't they just .....switch bodies from the get go ?
Also why are space marines who belive in the Emperor allowed to work with adrptus mechanicus since they don't belive in Omnissiah?
Not all necrons are trying to return to flesh
Its easier said than done
Depends on Chapter to Chapter. Machine spirits are widely believed in the Imperium.
What are chapters?
Is it like a book ?
New idea, mechanicus go through biotransference, and necrons try to study them (yes i know biotransference was lost)
Chapters are organisations of marines
theres Ultramarines, Iron Hands, Blood Angels etc
they are Marine groups with individual cultures and goals and tactics etc
Bro mechanicus try to steal from necrons straight up😅
Ooooh ok I get it now
Oh i know im just making dumb ideas
Why does Corvus get so much hate ?
He doesnt
theres people that like him and people that dont, just like most primarchs
Or watch bricky videos
You know
He has a 40 minutes video or so in which he explains every faction
Plus I'm too lazy to search that up on Google
Bricky videos are not really good sources for lore
But I would happily allow a tech priest to transcend me
he says so himself
Then enjoy not having context for anything
That's what I'm trying
It all began with me knowing about this really boring board game and now there is a game that's supposed to be Vermitide 2.0 or something like that
And here we are in the present
A few searches up on YouTube shorts and found about noise marines
Which no offense but it's kind of a joke
Then found out about angry marines
Which in my pov are basically doom guy but yellow and 4 times bigger and angrier
They are pretty cringe
So you admit that cannon is cringe
That's good
Wait are they cannon ?
Or is it like a fan made thing that made it into 40k universe?
No LMAO
Angry marines are fanfic
Oof
who use homophobic slurs and kill people
I kind of liked them
Well they have a cannon designed to shoot themselves
So yeah to be expected
I suppose vampire and werewolf marines are also fanfic
Please say yes
And sanguine marines and vampire marines are related ?
you mean Angels Sanguine?
the Blood Angels are a founding chapter
theres 20 Founding Chapters
from them there are successor chapters
which are basically their "successors" as the name implies
while the Foundings are their progenitors
Bro I study medicine on a daily basis and this shit makes my head spin
It's harder to learn the lore than to figure out how to play Tarkov
Its really not
I need your guidance
Ok
I though we had like a friendship moment there maybe but yeah
Too late for that I guess
I'll read the lexi
Thanks for the heads up
I said friendship not banana
You're thinking too far
Not that it bothers me
Quite contrary
But still
Magical
Waste of potassium btw
Yeah
grip too hard
so, are imperial knights part of any specific Imperial force (like Spess marines, Millitarium, esc.) or are just their own thing?
Their own thing I believe. But the knight houses are often called upon to support other forces
huh. wait, knight houses? how separate are they from the overall imperium?
Iirc there are 2 divisions
Questor Imperialis who serve the emperor, and Mechanicus who serve them
They are p much noble houses from imperial worlds where knights became, well, like feudal knights protecting the land
Then got reinducted into the imperium, and the knight houses pledged their service
Reminded me of this banger
The Chaos Knights are getting ready to ride to war, and the whole galaxy trembles at their approach. https://bit.ly/3wsenE3 #Adepticon #Warhammer40k
Don't forget to like, share and subscribe and to ring the bell to make sure you keep up to date with all our latest videos!
They can work as either their own one man army thing or usualy help the imperium.
Also armigers for adeptus mechanicus work in both armies
The most “free” of the imperial knights are the aptly named Freeblades think of them as mercenaries.
fuck i should get knights holy shit they are so cool and fun
Isn't it only 9 first founding chapters?
they are so horrifically badass, hang on whats that picture of Monty Python playing imperial knights during a game of 40k
Hey knight players, wahts stopping you from playing like this
Money
20
was reduced to 18 after the 2 primarchs went missing
now 9 because half went to chaos
kek
I think I remember playing a viddy game involving an imperial knight as a kid.
some kind of mobile game?
yeah, that was it
I still play it. I wish we had more of those.
It sucked.
I wonder what makes Imperial Knights so special compared to the other(?) titans
Nothing
they are just smaller robots
also knights drive them
not much else
There's also the fact that with "proper" titans I think almost all of them are in the hands of one Titan Legio or another. But with Knights, they're not quite valuable enough that the Ad Mech really tries to horde them so they're a lot more autonomous than Titans. Hence things like Freeblades existing.
so at times, humans are allowed into the Black Library right?
Has there ever been a tech-priest allowed to go in?
cause i feel like they would probably cry if they were
They arent
Only the ones chosen by the ruling council inside the Library are. Not anyone can just waltz right in.
yeah thats what i meant
No human minus İnquisitor Czevak and Inquisitor Jaq Draco has been inside the library
wasnt there also a sister of battle
Stern yeah, but shes mostly roaming around
Probably information overload
the library has most "answers" to most subjects in the universe according to the lore
What colour is space marine armour without all the ghastly paint jobs?
Grey
Ah okay, ooc is it like a light grey or dark?
Generally there's been references to it being matt grey, as a cheeky in-joke to being the same colour as unpainted miniatures. The Pre-Heresy Death Guard didn't paint their armour and gets a couple of descriptions:
As the Dusk Raiders, the XIVth Legion's armour was an unpainted storm grey. The entire right vambrace, gauntlet and shoulder plate (sometimes both) were painted the deep crimson of drying blood, which signified the XIVth Legion's status as the "red right hand" of the Emperor's justice.
Grey Knights also don't paint their armour and are silvery, but technically they use a slightly different type of armour:

Brother Blobimus will get his revenge.
damn him
Yeah this through me off because I'd heard that there were a couple different 'unpainted' space marines that had completely different colours
Yeee its just A BIT inconsistent
Ye
Iron warriors are also supposed to be "unpainted"
the hazard stripes actually being standard on just out of the factory imperial gear
Didn't I see something about the hazard stripes being a bit of joke within the iron warriors?
Black Legion(as in the book) says its black!
Unpainted
So we have a 3 way draw FBDB
Actually now that I think abt it, it was Talon of Horus
But same series
if you spent 10k years in the dumpster fire that is black legion lore your armor would be very charred too 😛
Have u read a book
no its a joke lol
I figured not
and hell what little i do know of the black legion's lore its clear they are one of the better written chaos factions
Looking back, it actually was grey
epic fail
hell why do they have black armor?
wasnt the sons of horus armor green or something
Its based on the black armor of the 1st honor guard of the SoH, terminators
i see
Abaddon led them
ye the justaerin
Additionally, its sort of a symbol of their 'primarchless and leaving behind their old ways' nature
Chaos question, so how exactly are there chaos undivided daemon princes?
Is it just, random warp energy given to someone, is it like multiple gifts from multiple chaos gods?
lol so I have plenty of options for 'unpainted' marine armour, thanks
Multiple gifts from different gods
Daemon princes dont happen randomly
Got it thanks
i know this isnt lore, but i had a dream that pokemon and 40k had a cross over and they added 1 pokemon, which was just a space marine helmet with kirby arms.
@storm jungle is... is that a raging/screaming wojak face on a nightlords body!? why the fuck does that fit them so well.
after looking again that's just his regular model face huh, still I am keeping my prior comment as my head cannon
It's not
It's Female Night Lord edit
you mean the average karen?
Not really but eh
still keeping the head cannon that its styled like a screaming wojak face
👍
was moreso intended behaviour + general feel
The edit is funk tho
nightlords always screamed "It's not a phase dad!" to me and that model just exemplifies that with that face lol
in all seriousness though, nightlords could use a bit more love in the modern setting. I really don't know of any major Nightlords in play right now lore wise.
Pretty much lack of structure and being homeless people
Death Guard, Thousand Sons, Word Bearers and World Eaters all got their primarchs
Night Lords have been forever footnote IRL and in-lore
if they didnt have the trilogy books they'd be 50% less interesting
the mental Image of a Nightlord begging for spare change on a corner is hilarious to me so thanks for the homeless comparison, and it's sad how right you are about that bit about the trilogy making them a lot more interesting, because besides that, Kurze, and Sevatar what do they really have?
Yeah literally this
they are a footnote chaos legion almost none of the writers care about anymore
unless you get a big chaos event and the Night Lords are mentioned as "Oh yeah they are here doing the uhhh, idk terror attacks and killing Imperials, anyway moving on to the main plot."
reminds me of a bit in the Cadia stands book. Ratling sniper is picking off traitor guard officers and other choice targets and then he sees a blur of movement that turns out to be a space marine that's on the same level as him in the building, naturally he chooses to kill himself by jumping to his death. The Nightlord jumps down and reaches the ground faster then the ratling due to his weight and then proceeds to catch said ratling before he can go splat on the concrete.
and then not one more mention of any Nightlords was made in the entire book
the fucking Sons of Malice got more screen time then the Nightlords in that book
Lmfao yeah
Also man I loved that part
I think it was a sorceror
but close enough, shame legion anyway
they were busy with the ratling
he ate their tools
cadia sneeds
That sounds sick. Although I don't think it'd really work that way unless he had a jump pack.
Cadia sneezed
7 seconds · Clipped by Big Boy Fish · Original video "SOULS, WARP, DEATH, DAEMONS & MUSHROOMS | Warhammer 40k Lore" by Adeptus Ridiculous
Yeah it’s adeptus ridiculous bite me, but I love this clip too much
space slann
Do you ever think the space frogs will become a faction again ?
no
Aka, literally just lizard men from AOS
It’s so weird that they ported them in uhhh
Seconds edition?
they're in aos?
skaven blew up the moon on them but they're still around
meanwhile tomb kings nu uh
I’ve seen a video explaining it, but the lizard ppl, seraphon or what ever, weren’t selling well enough so they made their own playable army for 40K
Daemon style
lmao
Yeah lmao
It was like, the left overs of the great old ones?
And that also sold poorly because it was shoved in a white dwarf
Also it’s fucking lizard people
A majority of the Lizardmen saw that shit
and were like
"Okay this planet is done. Activate the spaceships."
actual lore btw
They technically were in 1e but were also sort of a different thing
it looks fucking small
1000 Marines is not a ton.
yep
Look at em gooo
how tf you "conquer star systems" with that
Marines are very special.
It has never made any sense. I don't have the best memory, but I think in that Word Bearers vs Ultramarines book there is something like a million Ultramarines gathered.
There is a passage that describes how many Marines and ships and so forth have gathered to attack some Ork warbands and it's like the biggest build up of Ultramarines ever, and that's why the attack by the Word Bearers was especially deadly.
Nevermind, it was 200,000
Still an absurd number compared to the piddly 1k that Chapters use.
Particularly because most large scale, sector wide battles barely ever use more than elements from half a dozen chapters.
And even that 1k is smaller than 1k when you think about it since not all of them are standard Marines, you have Scouts and Termies, and other elements that are not really combatants like Tech-Marines and Apothecaries who can go into battle but mostly don't. Tech-Marines being too valuable and Apothecaries focusing on recovering geneseed.
Yet we know there must be at least a million Marines.
IMO, the most sensible retcon that GW could do would be to change Chapters to 10k Marines rather than 1k since before the HH books ever came out people always assumed that a Legion was 10k Marines.
IIRC, it's something like 900 in the first 9 companies + a theoretically infinite number of scouts and attached personnel (i.e. Drivers, Techmarnies, Pilots, etc.).
There are a lot of loopholes in the Codex Astartes, and given that as far as I'm aware Space Marines are almost never gathered at full chapter strength, it is almost entirely impossible to get an accurate count of how many Space Marines of a full chapter exist at any one time.
I think that might not be the case, because I believe Roboute reaffirmed how many Marines were allowed per chapter when he came back. I'd need to check the 8/9th Ed codex since I believe the comments about this are in there.
I'd bet that even if every chapter was as codex complaint as possible the number of full normal Marines in most of them would hover somewhere between 700 - 1100.
And I imagine that chapters that are more distantly related to the Ultramarines play very loose with the Codex rules.
I agree. I also can't see a case where they just stop recruiting just because.
"Oh, we hit 10 companies? I guess we just stop getting more dudes."
Despite that being decidedly stupid.
I figure that there's constant offshoot chapters that get produced if a Marine chapter manages to get more than a company or two worth of extra full Marines up that it knows about.
I don't believe for a second that Marine chapters aren't basically being constantly created.
I was actually thinking about the problem of that earlier. Since founding a new chapter seems like an absolute nightmare given the equipment you'd need to do it.
I also can't think of a single piece of fluff I've read that goes into detail about how a new chapter is able to actually equip themselves (vehicles, ships, armor, etc.) Without falling into the pocket of the AdMech. Or being a brand new founding as a result of Cawl.
It just doesn't make sense. Yes, I understand that a space Marine chapter will send out dudes far and wide to just get into fights and help other Imperial forces, but even then, there's gotta be Chapters constantly getting created because not everywhere is Cadia or Armageddon and not every chapter will have the resources to get to those kinds of places anyway.
Also, some of the Chapters make zero sense lmao
Like, uh, what're they called.
The Head Takers?
I read their book forever and an age ago
That one isn't listed on Lexicanum.
Still not seeing it on Lexicunum
Ah, that was the title of a book. I thought that was the name of some Space Marines.
Basically these guys are all from a world nearly completely deprived of fauna, it's a death world with lots of flora though, and they are also cannibals. They are all completely uneducated, probably inbred, I am talking basically dead ends.
And yet they also have a Space Marine chapter.
Neophytes who have not made a worthy kill in battle are not allowed to wear helmets and are all referred to as the Faceless, by their Blooded Battle Brothers.
40k lore is a lot of times really cool, but sometimes it's pretty fucking grimderp.
It was a decent story, but when you stepped back and thought about like how the fuck these guys could possibly have a chapter for even a moment it made no sense at all
What possible reason could anyone have for forcing your Valuable Space Marine Neophytes to not fucking wear helmets in a fucking Warzone?
Ironically it's the guys who wear helmets that have a problem in this story.
Well, it seems like you found the only book in all of 40k lore where a Scout Marine is the main character, so I am not surprised.
I think you could go quite a long time without ever finding out that Scout Marines exist even as a fairly avid reader of 40k lore.
The conceit is also kinda stupid. I get that they are going for a sort of Enemy at the Gates but in Space Vietnam, but it doesn't make sense because at the end of the day the antagonist is a singular Tau sniper. Just one dude, and he's holding up like tens of thousands of Guardsman somehow.
He's a very good sniper
Well, He can't Shine in melee, can He? But I guess it's kinda cool that some of the big Boys got their Asses Handels to them by a single Tau
thats cause the codex astartes was made to limit how strong the SMs could be so there couldnt be a repeat of the heresy
A wild trayzn the infinite has appeared I'd say lock everything down but he's already stolen it
Can humans tame squigs or are they programmed to see non-orkoids trying that and either murder or flee?
With 40k im not sure
in Warhammer Fantasy the only ones able to tame wild squigs are usually dark elf beastmasters
...so its never really stated in its sci-fi sibling
Tzeentch = gaslight girlboss?
Do the Raven Guard know Corvus just dipped into the rift?
They do
he actually went full edgelord and told them his last words.
"Nevermore."
GET IT?
no
Quoth the Raven.
Ah okay, but they don't know his ultimate fate right?
Poor lads
Can't wait for Corvus to return and assassinate the Lords of the imperium for tyranny
You'll get it by the time you graduate high school dw alexandrus

Hol on... It has been officially stated that tanith people are from terran places of albia and europa!!
Oh, and also that it was a democratically lead planet it seems
Catachan jungles, this is the largest type of the traditional knives of Catachan. Anywhere between three and four feet long, the Devil's Claw is closer to a short sword than a knife. its actually longer than a short sword lol
which are normally around 22 to 32 inches in length
3 to 4 feet is longsword ranges

im not sold on the voice
He talked like twice, so im in between, mabey his lines were weird
its the sound for me
it should be more raspy
due to all the puss and shit in his throat
Idk, to me it feels great, given his lore where he once was a doctor
He has that old school Action/Horror movie "Evil Doctor/Mastermind voice." But rather than make some shitty monster, he creates plagues for papa nurgle.
But the movements of his chin
good god
Kinda hot tbh

His massive Scrote Chin
ellila fat fetish
I really like how slaanesh’s Azazel has angel wings
It’s super cool
Way coller then the bat wings
Idk why but gray knights specializing in daemon killing feels kinda, odd, same as death watch with xenos. Like yeah they are the inquisitions tools for the right situation. But idk I’m just picky
I think it’s a thing that there’s already a shit load of anti chaos
like tone wise yeah it was great. and maybe there will be line with a sickly gurgling effect to them
youve hit one of the keynotes as to why GK are just a mary sue faction
Theyre just Better Marines™️
yeah,, but i do lioke how they look
at least for table top they dont have the primaris hell of a store page
they remind me of my first love
✨ bretonnians ✨
honestly chaos gate daemonhunters really made me like grey knights
me too
mainly because they are so fucking dramatic but the game is super cool and legit made me laugh
i think grey knights work best in a story where they play to their role of being specialized for hunting daemons. you can really play up that idea, and i really think chaos gate did that pretty decently
i really like that, theres a a solid chance of soemone knowing about sister
theres an okayish chance with deathwatch
no one who isnt directly linked or killed by gray knights know about them
i like the stories kinda like tyranids, where its from the POV of the victims, they appear, no one is left alive, they leave
i also really liked how in chaos gate, you yourself are the force commander.
oh yeah its super fun
shame its bascially an xcom clone, but xcom is a format really really hard to fuck up
i think they added enough of their own to make it feel distinct from x-com, but i also love x-com
i love xcom too lmao
i hope we see more from the studio. because they did a pretty good job with the game
its kinda weird they went more like xcom 2/mechanicus instead of a chimera squad format.
but chimera is
not memorable in any way lmao
it's probably a good thing they didn't do that then
yeah, Chimera squad does alot of cool stuff but its isnt really enough to make it as fun as xcom 2
me too, i think they would make a really fun if they use that format for maybe an eldar focused game
Yeah sisters of silence are the better anti-chaos faction since they're just general anti-psyker
They're cool tho
I just wish they were portrayed as more of like
One component of the Inquisition's "daemon hunter" subfaction as they were originally portrayed
Rather than getting all of that focus
i think i might get gray knights, they seem actually pretty easy to paint, custodie style
Not a bad idea
I do like that siege of terra actually makes their backstory kind of neat considering that most horus heresy stuff is absolute schlock
oh yeah i think they would be more cool if they are just more like Inquisition Secret police
Being a mixture of malcador's knights errant and the emperor actually deciding to redo the thousand sons using his own genetic material and hoping magnus would lead them
i actually dont know much about Gray knight lore
i really like they look like knights and have psyker bullets
Like, that's what the Emperor was going to have Magnus do after leman russ brought him to terra had horus not intercepted the orders
Just give Magnus a new legion of grey knights and go "okay now go kill off your sons now :))))"
OhHh hh,
"ur genetic material mutates too much :))))"
Actually gray knights would be way fuckingcooler if they had thousand sons geneseeed
"KILL YOUR CHILDREN."
The funniest thing about it is that the scene is like
"Magnus, I love you, join me and help me conquer chaos, then you can sit on the golden throne, where we can explore the mysteries of the warp together forever in eternal bliss"
"Oh btw you've gotta get rid of those mutant kids though"
and magnus is like "hell no that's fucked up" and takes tzeentch's offer instead

I love just about everything in the warhammer 40k franchise. most people know that, but even I am not immune to nerd raging over some of the nonsense I encounter in the books, from space wolves being space wolves, to lorgar'...
I don't like his hair
Why exactly would grey knights fight xenos anyway?
If a Xenos sees them, then they must die
I use to like him but holy shit he’s so annoying
He literally admits he learns lore through grimdank memes
which is like
the most braindead way to present 40k as a lore youtuber lmao

LMAO
IM NOT KIDDING
Go watch his "Top 10 untrue 40k memes" video or something
he was like
"So I learned that Krieg DONT use shovels at all in the lore"

The grimdank meme is one of the most imperial bias things I’ve ever seen lmao
It’s so human sided that 90% of Xenos memes is
‘Xenos being dumb and stupid hahaha space marines better’
Yeah like he has the right voice and presentation imo, its more the way he "learns lore" is actually dreadful
His space marine video is the wankiest shit ive ever listened to
There’s this other YouTube shorts guy who does mostly space marines like, grim dark dead lifts or something like that, who’s 100 times less bias
And actually reads lore
so from you
atleast, chances are those memes come somewhere from your posts
Nah. Only so many times you can see the same Eldar waifu memes (Yvraine now, Macha and Taldeer before her), the same "Get the Flamer Brother", Heresy, blah blah
Emwattnot's little comics with Alpharius always in the background are the saving grace of that sub. God bless Him/Her/Them (Don't know their pronouns)
You clearly don't understand how grimdank works and how many times these memes are posted lol
also Emwattnot literally did the Macha and Taldeer meme on one occassion
Yeah, but everyone gets one free pass. Especially with comedic OC. Think it was the ladies night karaoke comic?
I mean xenos can have connections to daemons like those guys in the first eisenhorn book
HOLY SHIT
I LIKE HIM EVEN LESS NOW???
what the actual fuck
Lorgar was his favorite primarch so enough said
Actually lorgar is mostly well written so
yeah makes sense
Although he is kind of weird in that his arc is just
Unresolved for the sake of sticking to the "he ascends to daemonhood post-heresy" fluff
untill the end of slaves to darkness it seems lol
ADB stated that he had pitched an idea during one of the Horus Heresy BL meetings a few years ago "while we were planning out what would happen during the siege"
Where lorgar dies
during the siege
and in his dying moments realizes he has made a huge mistake in converting to chaos
which would be fitting imo
But it was rejected on the grounds that they wanted daemon primarch lorgar to remain a thing
oof
i mean imo that would've been better
Since erebus and kor phaeron control the word bearers in 40k anyway
umm thats how he started and has been reading the books and omicrons mostly now
but no gotta have daemon primarch lorgar so corax can beat him up in a short story and presumably so they can make a model later
so he started like most people do with warhammer. learning the memes first and then learning those arent true lol
He said it not me
"I learned 40k lore mostly from the memes you guys sent me"

Kinda annoying that only Horus, Curze, and maybe Alpharius/Omegon are dead.
And the rest can't even die. They can just have their plans mildly frustrated.
yeah that was how he started out lol

Do you know where Warhammer 40k memes come from? Do you know the origins or the lore behind these jokes? And did you know that many of the most popular memes aren't even true? Decades ago, Warhammer fans c...
lol
Many of which are as old as RAGE COMICS
and then jokes about why they make sense lore wise AFTER he stated that memes arent required to make sense lore wise lol
I mean
you say this like hes smart to begin with
I genuinely doubt that was his intention at all
hell i dont know the guy from adam
all im saying is he did learn from memes and then started reading the books
hell as far as loretubers go he is far from bad as he actively encourages people to tell him what he got wrong in the commits section unlike say arch that viscously defends his incorrect statements
like imo he is a good intro level loretuber due to his videos being fairly short and to the point unlike says a lutin who defiantly has better info but can be a bit overwhelming to newer community members
also he is a tictoker so there is that lol
which does make Wes the only tictoker i will ever defend and idk how i feel about that lol
I have a theory that grimdank is scared of well written characters
well written characters dont fit nicely in poorly made memes
Any character can be distilled to a handful of tropes or traits.
You don't have to be 100% accurate, you just gotta be in the ballfield.
how tall are the imperial titans again?
cause i dont think the warlord class is 60m
yeah the warlord is 33m
yeah the colossal titan meanwhile is 60m iirc
a little over half the colossal titan's size
yeee
again GW down scaled them to much imo
that chart is about as accurate as you are gonna get
when the actual writer of Titanicus told the authors to stop fucking up titan sizes it was kind of the last straw lmao
doesnt tell me anything tho as i dont know those heights lol
Google is right there lol
true
still imo the warhound should be like 20. reaver should be 30 or so warlord should be 50 and imperator should be like 70
not unless its able to get its guns up at the nape
titans in AOT are immune to all damage that isnt on the nape of the neck
Blow it's legs off, then decapitate
What about when levi sliced the beast titan to deli cuts
you can immoblize a titan by cutting of its limbs but that wont damage it
Yeah its more to slow it down
even immobilised titans have killed people due to the scouts never being cautious
**CHOMP**
I don't think a warlord would have that same problem
and with the colossal titan's steam just landing a shot on it is hard
The steam is a valid point
Oh yeah the steam
istant smoke screen
ngl if that thing gets through like the void shield; idk how gasses work; it'd probably cook the entire crew
100%
Its from the amount of heat the muscles of the titan creates when moving iirc
look what it to the fleet lol
lmfao
yeah like
the problem with imperial titans is
if its anything fast and can dodge its kinda fucked
literally slice its legs/push it and it will fall over
you pretty much need to keep out of sight
yeah
but then again its why they got escorts
Do you think a lance of Knights would have a better chance then?
honestly Knights would probably just get kicked around or have their cockpits torn open
your best bet honest is to snipe the nape or use an aircraft
or this yeah
as long as you aim well you should be fine
but on the other hand
imagine being a knight and seeing these mfers running at you
yeah the titans in AOT are nightmarishly fast
Guns are faster
^
One titan can literally like
stand away
crunch rocks in his hand
and throw them at you
and kill like half your battalion
the beast titan
Meet the Engineer, one of nine playable character classes in Team Fortress 2.
Name: Engineer
Role: Defense
Weapons: Shotgun / Pistol/ Wrench
Contraptions: Turret / Dispenser / Teleporter
This amiable, soft-spoken good ol' boy from tiny Bee Cave, Texas loves barbeque, guns, and higher education. Natural curiosity, ten years as a roughne...
To be frank, the guns in 40k operate at stupid long distances where artillery is concerned. Titans wouldn't have a chance with some dude firing some form of Laser-Destructor from like 3km away.
Chaos corrupted titans would be an unholy nightmare
i dont think that can happen
And if 40k artillery operates like IRL artillery then BVR would be very common.
Just firing 200mm shells from 40km away
Of course not, two completely different franchises
i was talking more about how the titans in AOT are made lol
Spinal injection goes brrrr
oh thats not how the form is made
They're still people, just mindless
And yeah they are basically animals
Perfect daemonhost
lmfao
Through demons
Wait no they retconned it with shub nwordath didnt they
Yeah
nope. Yimir the first titan is still "alive" in some strange interdimensional realm and she makes all the titan forms out of sand with nothing but a bucket
yeah its both strange and fucked up
Been done befire
Shub-Niggurath, called The Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young, is an Outer God in the Cthulhu Mythos of H. P. Lovecraft. The being first appeared in Lovecraft's revision story "The Last Test" (1928); in Lovecraft's fiction, she is never actually described, but is frequently mentioned or called upon in incantations. Shub-Niggurath also...
DERIVATIVE
You see
like she is still a slave even after death
Lovecraft was just memeing at the time
Also yeah like
I had no idea what the fuck is even happening anymore
Heated writer moment

you know your racism is bad when even other victorians are saying its bad lol
Yeah shes a slave to the spine slug
After she fell in a pond under a tree
no a slave to the royal family
the whole reason only those with royal blood and use the founding titan is cause Yimir only follows the commands of those with said blood
But she has magical slug powers, is she just traumatized
Aot is too japanese for its own good
more or less ya
like each titan body takes decades for her to make but in the mortal world it happens instantly
They do love giving children mental trauma
We killed God with the power of friendship
and this gun we found
AOT is over too right?
Not weird from the Lovecraft side at all
The manga is, not the anime
Yeah everyone got vored sad ending no fun allowed
the manga is yeah the anime is heading there
Ah good
Also eragon married mads mikkelson or something
There's a lot of cope that they'll change the ending in the anime.
Lmao it does
A few things to mention:
- No I don't watch Attack on Titan, I just really like their intros.
- This video was finished since January but school and Payday 2 (mostly Payday 2) caused me to push back uploads.
Anyways, enjoy this long overdue edit!

I don't know the intricacies, but my friend who is a giant fan of the series said that they ruin the main character's motivation and characterization right at the end and thus spoil the entire story retroactively.
fail
Aot still has worse writing than knights of sidonia
"I'm gonna save my friends"
Becomes goebbels
Gets vored by his great great great great great great great great great great great gandma
being decapitated by a 20mm sniper rifle can do that to you
I almost made a joke
saying at least titans dont exist in 40k
then I remember Xenology
?
It'd a vook
But he has regen?
Book
It had this alien worm that literally makes you an AOT Titan
Can we talk
blood angels/dante fucked up and failed to exterminate it
Actually it's two books?
A serious discussion
I can't remember
Yeah
Xenology
then Xenologis
Xenology had like
MASSIVE lore dumps and takes
Xenologies is just
Alien
Picture
Text
let me see if i can find it
I wish there was a game where the Umbra were the main antagonist.
Does anyone remember the name of the xenos that are literally just xenomorphs from alien?
They have tommygns
In the promo art
Thats genestealers
No it was different
They had some dumb name
How old was the art?
i can hear this gif btw
same
And thats why gw should license alien
the Xenos do be Morphin
I just imagine
Some dude
What a dumb species
🔫 👾
i love that the "name" xenomorph isnt a name
Honestly its such a simple but great name
Everything terrifies the british
LOL
Spicy food xeno
OMG I FORGOTT THEY EXISTED THEY ARE SO COOL LMAO
Don’t they still use nuclear technology?
The british?
rickety ones yeah
its not a name which is great cause it ads to the fear factor. "xenomorph" means unknow lifeform
Also it just morphs into whatever its host is
Lmao
its good stuff
The 40k one too?
Im no longer interested in 40k outside of darktide

like the whole point is to play into human psychology. if something cant be named it cant be understood and there for its even scary
Ok
Because 40K lore blows.
Ynnari, more like ynno more lorei
I have to get out my writers hat
Then after a few minutes the victim again rises to his feet, like an undead, and begins to grow, sometimes reaching a height of at least 30 feet with appropriate bulkness.
Shapeshifting like this would make them paper thin
They'd die to buckshot
Yeah this is the like
same problem as resident evil bosses that instantly transform
where the fuck do they get all that biomass
Resident evil large forms at least make sense cuz like
"yeah thats a 3 ton biomass organ right there"
But human to skyscraper
Alcy SIMMONS LITERALLY TRANSFORMS INTO A FLESH T-REX
Is dumb
YEAH THAT
thats what they where made for lol. literally born from a nightmare
The warp. Duh
... for close encounters.
Cpl. Hicks (Michael Biehn)
Anyway, grab fireteam elite while waiting for darktide
not yet
wait for the new expac
and see if they add a chat function to it lol
but i do love how much lore that crammed into that game
Me trying to tell my jarhead teammates to keep all 3 pillars at full health for the max reward
As they all go down to one spitter
Seinfeld funny music. Ogg
just tape a box of crayons to the top and they will do everything in their power to keep them safe
True
Dilara, Alcy is so thick, she has biomass to spare

In this thesis I will explain why all shape shifters are mandated to be incredibly heavy
Aliens and monsters being unique is exactly why i got books with refs and explanations for monsters and deformities instead of normal anatomy drawing guidea
Fuck your spine and your ankles, theyre reverse now
THAT TECHNO BARBARIAN MOFO LOOKS FUCKING AWESOME
Yeah top right
Yeah they cool
I wish mercenary rules or something like that could come to 40K, like most xenos and maybe even chaos space marines can take a unit of mercenary minor xenos. Drukhari had a handful of minor xenos already in their use. Something for these guys to come to table top
I’d 100% play them with out a doubt in my mind
I like how this fanart makes him as big as a dreadnought
With the marine in his hand for scale
I mean it seems right, compared with the size of the skulls on it’s chassis
Yeah
I can imagine them being this giant minor xenos species called "jotunn" or something that employ ork/kroot/chaos mercenaries or something
or work as mercenaries
yeah, idk what chaos would have mercenary rules wise besides chaos xenos, but it would be cool if eldar can get kroot mercenaries, tau could get fuckin uhhh, sslyth or waht ever the snake is called mercenaries.
just so we can get more shit like this
Honestly the eldar need their auxilary range expanded because they have a lot of cool auxiliaries in the fluff who aren't on the table
Like the psychic sloths
The nicassar
oh thst sounds cool
and imperials could get rogue trader as mercenaries or imperial aligned xenos
Tarellians are reptilian dog soldiers
Vorghs, who can apparently fight knights in hand to hand combat due to being huge
Galgs, these things
thats so ugly is amazing
And ofc human auxiliaries which could literally just be an alternate guard kit like the brood brothers
Like, guardsmen with pulse carbines and fire warrior helmets or something
OH YEAH WHATS THAT 'minor' xenos thats just a shit laod of worms and is powerful enough that even the imperium cant deal witht htem
The slaugth
YEAH
fuck i just want them as a faction
One is gonna be the uh
||antagonist of my dh campaign||
OOOOO
i just imagine on table top they would be a super elite custodies style faction
An astartes squad can fill one with bolter rounds and it'll keep going
You need like, flamethrowers and meltaguns and shit to actually kill them
And even then you need a lot of those
lmao they are so cool shame theyw ill probably never ever get lore again
Ynnari style
OH yeah do you think leagues of votann are going in the imperial or xenos faction
or what ever the 40k verison of grand alliance is called
honestly i hope they count as xenos so imperium doenst get the benefit of another count on thier tab
Xenos
They're gonna be xenos
Especially since it's confirmed they've worked with the tau

imperium and eldar over here like "OHHHH THE TYRANIDS ARE GOING TO KILL US ALL"
Meanwhile the leagues are like "new steeve just dropped"
lmao
so we have space humans, space demons, space orcs, space elves, space dwarves, whats left on fantasy things to slap space onto
space zombies
hmmm
Gonan be honest, I think porting skaven to 40K will literally just be control C control V from AOS to 40K
no we have eldar for rats
Nah it's the Guard
Tyranids tho
i think it's actually orkz
Imperium is space skaven
The nids are missing the essential "horrible oppression and slavery" element that orks and guard have
crappy engineering that shouldn't work, backstabbing
how can they be otherwise?
Oh yeah mechanicus
ooh fair point
Hmmm
Space…. Knights…. That’s already a thing
Kinda
Space marines and imperial knights
The crusaders are a very minor group tho
And chaos knights and chaos space marines
Space lizards were a thing…
Oh right, the Zoats
really?
Not surprising tbh
Lmao
I can understand why people didn't want to play the Aztec iguanas
Besides, copypasting factions only works half of the time
Yeah but that’s most of warhammer 40K
DRAGONS
SPACE
DRAGONS
Bam done GW I demand 5% of the profits from The space dragons idea
And no the necron void dragon doenst count
Prince Imrik is gonna flip his lid when he finds out he has been ported to space fantasy
Damn space dragons remind me of endless legends.. what a good game
I have no clue how-
FUCK SALAMANDERS
AAA THEY ARE SPACE DRAGON MARINESSSS
Space uh- uh- Canadians
SALAMANDERS AGAIN FUCK
Uh... space Jamaicans
Also check Black Dragons chapter
fuck
Space uhhhh marines
DAMN IT
They literally have horns what the hell
actual dragons when GW?
I mean, I know we have the Salamander beasts from Nocturne but they can't fly so I'm not counting them
not counting emperors children, waht do you think the next new faction will be for 40k
Squats
OH and after squats I mean
Frogs
The new original^(TM) 40K faction
I feel like AOS in a bit of a good place with so many factions that are almost not complete bullshit
fr0ge
‘THE GREAT OLD ONES COMING BACK FOR ROUND 2 BITCHES’
Dark Mechanicum is a solid guess that I have seen a lot of people toss around
I hope one of the better known minor xenos become a faction
Oh yeah. I feel like it might be a bit redundant tho
Maggot men💕
There has also been a lot of talk about them bringing back the LATD.
Because they used to actually be an army
mEHhh i guess i could see that, probably with the death of custom CSM warbands
if htey bringback one of the lost primarchs i will be so pissed for no real reason
yeah but
there is a chance and thats what scares me
do bolters have firing pins?
Bolters don't have recoil
Still need an igniter, and electric ones were absolutely not something that they knew about and are a pretty recent invention.
It’s technology from the 41st millennium trying to judge it based on current understanding of technology’s kind of pointless
Magic gun go pew pew
This is a meme right?
I'll frog you
hot
😳
Is their a Belakor aligned CSMs (not counting word bearers)
Belakor probably has servants but I dont think any big legion
He has a knight house so Im sure he's swayed some CSM to his cause
he pretty much threw the planet they were protecting into the warp
Yeeee
