A zenithal with Stormhost will work perfectly fine, though the results won't be as high contrast compared to a standard black-grey-white zenithal blend. It'll be very subtle but it will be visible. The main thing is that it won't be the best at generating actual shadows on its own, since leadbelcher is still comparatively bright, but if you're hitting it with contrast I think the level of brightness should be fine.

A nice glossy (I am assuming turquoise for AL) will be fine with contrast overall a slightly unconventional paintjob.
I'd personally thin it down a little and do 2-3 layers since Alpharius has so many nice recesses.

It's really funny because there are custom traits which combine to be a better Saim-Hann(Fast attack, jetbike charges) than the actual Saim-Hann trait
Saim Hann is like, reroll charges+fall back and charge. Vs Headstrong(Reroll Charges and advances) + Children of the Open Skies(Add 1" to movement, 2" to flying units movement, advance rolls of 1-2 count as 3)
