1.5mm may be way to small! 3mm work very well for arms and 2mm work very well for the heads. It's important to use magnets that are small enough to fit in the model but big enough to support the arms and legs.

1/8th inch for a large hole. BE SURE to use a razor to start a pilot hole or you will slip the bit. I recommend doing bolter barrels by hand
