Very old, dry brush. Dip directly into Fresh Tearers Red.
And then just pull back the bristles and let it fly free.

Yeah. You need to find a brush that is legit like... Dry as fucking pine needles.
It'll feel crusty AF.
Decent brushes will still be pliable and move with your thumb flicking the paint.
Shit brushes will bounce back to stiff, shitty up front.
And don't wet the bristles at all. Let it just soak a little contrast or red.
