Bought it all within the last 3 weeks, so not all of them are used to the balcony yet and haven't grown a lot. The salvia and the lavender exploded though. The big one in the corner is from last year and has just started really growing.

It gets its own corner because last year it became huge

Orange ones are from two days ago, so they've not yet started.

The basket that looks empty is filler. I found space and hung it there, put some assorted seeds of wild flowers in there :p

I'm looking to do conversions for 40K Khorne berserkers, but I want to mash a ton of AOS with CSM kits.

Blood warriors upper bodies/helmets on some, skull reapers and wrathmonger legs/arms potentially as well with CSM shoulders/backpacks.

But I just don't know how well everything plays together size-wise.

Reapers and mongers are 40mm bases while warriors are 32mm bases. Not sure if that is a sign the models true size may be mismatched a bunch.

Then swirled with some form of darker ink to show imperfections and some chunks of hot glue for viscera

Make sure the hot glue is stringy and applied before the epoxy

Yeah, painters tape

I use duct tape or painters tape dwpending on whats available

So for the color you can;
Apply 1 layer and add swirling when it dries or
Apply 2 layers 26 hours apart from eachother and make the second layer contain a swirl of imperfection added after pouring

Put in the hot glue viscera before you want the water and make sure its painted

You can shade/contrast it iirc

If you want fresh blood pouring into clean/normal water you can pour the epoxy and then nudge it out with a toothpick to apply some red ink for the same effect as it flowing into water and clouding out

I've only played a bit myself, but for now the general advice is that: Most of your roster hits like wet paper but most of your stratagems + Cult Ambush allow you to setup for some really devious shit

Using Cult Ambush to underground mass groups of acolytes with flamers then melting things is fun, since Pistol flamers

+Rocksaws cut through anything heavier

A personal favorite is either sanctus' for psyker armies with perfect ambush, or kelermorphs for dropping any other character

Clamavus' also screen for deepstrikes super good since they 12" scrambler array

I like using Broodcoven for the 3 warlord traits, + while Primus' may not be the best of our HQ's, they do have some neat synergy with CP generation

Also both Clamavus' and Primus' make Nexos' CP gen even better

Try placing your ambush markers to bait as if going to one obj, then use Nexos + stratagems to move them to the complete otherside

Or hell, just remove the ambush marker and put them underground instead using They came from below

Kelermorphs can very easily murderize most characters if they aren't aware enough to screen for him, perfect ambush only makes him even killier in doing so

Oh yeah, also, hope you get 2nd turn

Because of the way Cult Ambush works, getting 2nd turn pretty much means you get invuln for the first round

Since ambush markers are untargettable

Helps alot against armies that have no problem dashing across the board and detonating you
