A weirdly small amount of things from them are made in china

I will not ask what the loss is as thats private and I dont like to pry, but with death, it will probably take around a month before you can get fully back into the swing of things, 2-4 months if you're in the initial stages of hrt, with a break up it can be around the same time if not a little longer, the best advice I can offer as someone with a higher level variant of ASD(so you know, i have zero idea what im talking about here) is if its death, change the mindset from a sadness for loss, to trying to pay tribute, to pay homage, that type of thing.

With break up? thats hard since I legit dont know how that would work since I dont form bonds with people

maybe painting with others can help?

I know I tend to be a little more productive if i am painting with others, because I get to talk about paint and share my special interest

There's a Vallejo pigment called Ivory that I've used for skulls in the past

It's white with a subtle sheen of yellow

I typically use white ink on plasma/volkite then go over it with a fluo ink or contrast paint in the color that I want then drybrush white back over it

to make glow effects

I second the ink approach, but I drybrush the outer parts and raised parts of the coils with a light grey (slightly/somewhat darker than the white ink), so that the brightest parts are deepest.

a mutual was sponsored by them and seems very happy about the set and the price doesn't seem half bad

also seems like the paints stay very usable after leaving them on sealed palettes without the paint and medium separating

they actually did separate, it just seemed like they didnt at a glance.
I saw marco's video on it and the pigment settled in the paint on the wet palette and some dye floated to the top too.

I already spotted some problems with the paint though, for one they are adding white to the paints and not listing it at all and the pigmentation of a few of the paints is very low like the PG7 Phthalo green is what we call viridian(hue), which means it will have about 1/10th of the pigmentation than normal PG7.

Radiant magenta, pr122 has no opaque variant and will require titanium white. To get quinacridone magenta to have a semi-opaque that they list also requires titanium white.
Yes this matters a lot as it will change how it mixes and interacts. Turquoise blue? Contains titanium white and doesn't list it.

Will they be usable? Probably

But so far the labeling is bad and they are trying to enter a market.
Brom as also said nothing about the paints himself but he's talked about the sculpts, which I found very interesting as a whole. He's just mentioned the paints in a post about what was on the kickstarter

they are just heavy bodied paints which also don't separate on the palette as easily as fluid acrylics

as remember, wet palettes were designed for heavy bodied acrylics and not fluid acrylics

Oh and I would have prefered if they used something like py175 over py74 as thats a very warm yellow for a primary palette

at the moment the fact they stay more usable after longer periods of time seems the best selling point for me, for like 80% of the paints I use gets wasted because the paints become unusable after x amount of time and I don't manage to use all of it

I was originally thinking about getting the expansion set for Kimera paints to extent the range for my original set but might want to check out any other possible choices

You can get a primary set from liquitex for around $50 and thats 6 paints

Yellow Medium Azo, Quinacridone Crimson(the pv19 version of pr122 which are similar), Phthalo Blue (Green Shade), Transparent Mixing White, Ivory Black, and Titanium White

which is the same as the brom set
