The Knight Households in general are their own faction, much like how the AdMech, Guard and Space Marines are separate institutions

But some Households are sworn to some factions, others are wholly independent and hire the other factions out if they don't already have their own armies (beyond titans)
i.e. because Titans are ludicrous to maintain, some Houses are almost straight up Mechanicus detatchments with a bit more autonomy than normal. Others swear to the Imperium as a whole.

So if there isn't already a Knight Household sworn to the Ministorum, there's not really anything preventing you from making one.

For a white paint Corax sure seems to have about 60% black pigment that settles on top and gunks up everything you try painting

That's a nice model gamer. There a lot of little details on a marines I found when I painted my starter Infernus boys. I didn't realise how interesting you can make their power packs until I went looking.

if you don't clear it, the paint dries because the pot doesn't close properly. I've had this pot for years and no issues with it.

I find the models kinda paint themselves, the paints have this vicousity to them where they are just runny enough to flow exactly where they are needed.

that Leman Russ Vanquisher remained stationary this turn, and it got the command Take Aim! by a nearby Tank Commander

Normally this will still only give it BS +1 since you can only modify dice rolls by +1 or -1

but what if there is an enemy that is currently meleeing the Leman Russ Vanquisher and forces the LR to use the big guns never tire rule?

does only one of the BS +1 options take effect and Leman Russ ends up with 4+ to hit

or does both of the BS +1 options take effect and makes Vanquisher get 3+ to hit while ignoring the Big Guns Never Tire's BS -1 effect?

I'd probably check the wording of the rules and the faqs to see if this has been a issue.... by your wording I'm guessing in 10th you can't have more than one +1 or -1 modifier, which is something I would double check whether there can be multiple bonuses or not.

How I'm seeing it is you have two +1 in this scenario and one -1..... and ill be honest I've mostly play heresy which makes more sense to me lol.

@true inlet the negative modifier and the positive one cancel out. The rule re: total modifiers is based off the total sum of the modifiers, not the amount affecting it.

So, as I understand it, you'd still get your +1 to your BS from the order, even if you have Big Guns Never Tire and Heavy canceling each other out.

The Combat Patrol box for Guard is a pretty good start IMO, it's one where you can pick up a couple of them and you've got a great start to an army, that you just need to round it out with some additional characters and vehicles.
