Definitely a ghostkeel and a Riptide. The sideways engine pods on the shoulder come from this bit on the Riptide

If so, it uses the bottom of the Riptide shielded missile drone, the missile pod is a smart missile system you also get in the riptide kit, but the top comes from a Pathfinder recon drone, and that bit on the back of it comes from the back half of a plasma rifle

You get plasma rifles in the Riptide kit too, so only thing extra you'd need to source there is the Pathfinder drone bit

For the claws, I did two thin coats of corvax white, then a heavy-ish coat of doomfire magenta. As it’s a contrast, it’s very watery so it does a lot of the work for you

I have another question regarding psychic attacks and feel no pains. So i get to choose to either use invul saves or armor saves, is it the same with feel no pains or do i get to do both armor save and feel no pain? And the other question is about psychic attacks, can i armor save those or does psychic means it ignores armor?

If a unit has Feel no Pain, it's taken after you've failed your armor save against wounds

Psychic doesn't do much besides being a specific keyword

There are some specific Feel No Pain traits that only work against attacks labeled as Psychic

Guys I want to take up the hobby , but I have a conundrum i want to definitly get into 40k and NOT horus heresy and as a first army i want to get Dark angels However even though I like everything about the Models in 40k and the details of Dark angels Astartes models , I do favor the colour scheme of the Pre horus heresy dark angels. so here is my question can i paint my Dark angels army black instead of green ? will i be able to participate with them in games if they have a custom color scheme ?

If you paint them black they would be "fallen" (Dark Angels) in 40k lore... so they could be traitors or loyalists that had gotten the context of Horus Heresy too late (so they did things against the Imperium while Horus Heresy without realzing it)...

If it's too wet to dry because of weather, you MIGHT be able to cheat, but I suggest testing it first. It takes two box fans.

One set up in the window, blowing air out, and a second positioned to blow over the models but not close enough to move the paint.

You could also use a box space heater, but that can cause cracking of paint if too close.

Dungeons and dragons minis are considerably cheaper than warhammer, warhammer is like the premium caviar product as far as minis go and they're dumb expensive, DnD stuff is much more reasoable price wise and better for trying out.

If you just wanna try it out, grab yourself a blue, yellow, red, black and white paint + maybe a metallic depending on which mini you chose, you'll be able to look up online how to mix whatever colour you need from these, it's a cheat way to not bankrupt yourself on paint just to try the hobby,

Also if you have a local warhammer store they all have programs that allow you to try the hobby out for free and they'll teach you how to paint something and you normally score a free space marine from it

Yeah you can paint your army any colour you like and just call it a successor chapter of the one you're playing.

In canon almost every colour combination exists as a successor chapter of almost every other chapter specifically so you can justify painting your boys however you'd like, bonus points if you come up with a bit of homebrew lore to make it feel like you put a bit of effort into it,

Basically anything goes as far as paint scheme as long as you have 3 different colors on the final paint job your good. only nerds will be agry about a non lore accurate paint job.

Pro tip: Don't buy GW primer, there is nothing wrong with it except it is grossly over priced. Go to the local harware store and buy a black or grey or whatever color primer that bonds to plastic, it will say on the can weather it does or not. 5ish dollars compared to 20ish and it works just as well if not better.

Yeah I wouldn't do that with natural hair at any point, technically speaking you shouldn't even be using acrylics with them because they acrylics kill the brushes.

That being said, there are a lot of synthetics out there that actually beat natural hair by a long shot

And I mean for precision, water retention, durability, etc

They are just never talked about by hobbyists because they have no hobby branding and absolutely zero connection to hobbies, They have more connection to the professional things.

There is a world of incredibly good products out there that you guys just don't know about

a lot of browns, reds, blacks, and yellows are magnetic and will clump up

or just not mix at all

Helps if you use a cocktail stick to mix the sediment up a smidge before shaking
