Just having him on the board is enough to exert a lot of pressure on your opponent, thus making them potentially overlook the other units on the board

Using my army as a example, the black knights could be easily overlooked and those have a great anti-monster and anti-vehicle capacity in melee

Well, cyberpunk can have exposed/bent plating or trash lying around

If the base doesn't have a good contact point, you can always make one

Pull apart/cut/disassemble something small and made of metal, paint it if so inclined to fit in with terrain.
Saw someone on here I think use sprue for terrain purposes. Could use that to make a gutter siding/fallen pipe/cable cover

Was going to suggest something like my Thallaxes after I glued the leg on wrong after it snapped off in transit

Just look around this. I tried to have some synergies by taking character models that can be attached to troops.. Also that battleline infantry is mechanized and have at least one special/heavy weapon..
But i'm not a CSM player... so could have some lacks i don't see...

DG and CSM have mostly the same units (in terms of composition and abilities)

and if we are talking about Battleline , I usually used standart 5 Chaos Space Marines with Heavy Weapon (Lascannon) and Character that gives them +1 to hit and Chaos Lord (for free Battle tactic on unit)

Honestly flipping between lamenters and salamanders second company for my space marines. I like lamenters slightly more but yellow is just awful. Salamanders are still great and less of a paint to paint. Hm… tough choices

That's what some people do, they spray the mini with gloss first, let it dry, then hit it with a matt coat. That way, if your mini starts looking shiny, you know the matt coat is wearing off

When I say recesses i mean the nooks and crannies of the white skin. To build some shades in those areas you could need a wash/shade. Agrax earthshade is an alternative but i think it will be too dark so i suggest maybe going for something less dark

Also no, nuln or agrax is gonna make an abrupt end to the white, making it look dirty instead of the "just born" look I have in mind

It seems you think nuln oil is darker than it is, it will still be really white in the raised areas

If you had a fresh start I would recommend priming your model white and using a white contrast paint, it paints shades and highlights everything in one go. But that's too late now unless you strip your model

Don’t underestimate the hard work the tech priests are putting in to calculate every possible static of this ancient game. Sometimes it’s such hard work they dare to even employee some of the ship’s crew to help.

As an Ork player, you would be surprised at what you can create with sprues, super glue, and corrugated paper/cardboard.

Slap things together, use bendy neck straws to run "pipes" (covering the connection with wrapped paper and glue), and then paint.
