No wetting agent is for making paint, it helps disperse pigments better. Its useful for hobby paints as they never have enough but for a 17ml bottle you'd only need like 0.01 to 0.001 of it in the bottle

many people use micro sol and micro set, I've settled on vallejo decal fix and vallejo decal softener

the 'ardcoat is just a protective layer on top of it and any varnish will do

I was watching the vid from the warhammer channel and they used the medium to give it back a matte finish

ah right, so any varnish will do in place of that as well

but for getting them in place water is just fine

I usually first prepare the area with the vallejo decal fix and use water to get the transfer off and move it to it's place

its ok for a hobby paint, but its not a great paint over all. If you want a metallic paint, look for ultracryl. While I havent tested it myself, I have talked directly with the lead formulator before and his math and chemical formula is down right on point.

Their metallics are genuine really interesting, I'm still editing a video where we discuss them and what they did to make them work is pretty smart

IRL the Knights Templar are one of my favorite historical organizations and BTs were a strong consideration for my first army

For me IRL it's the teutonic order... They even have strong historical roots in my region where i live... So BT's are very fitting with my medieval reenactment hobby... I also had the honour to meet the 65. Head of the teutonic order at a historical museum event...

Incursors. The Multi-Spectrum Array ability is solid for a shooty force. You add 1 to the hit roll for every enemy hit by an Incursor Squad. So make sure Incursors fire first at priority targets.

Bonus points if a Librarian in Phobos Armor is leading an Incursor Squad. You gain Stealth and enemies can’t target the squad unless working 12 inches. Great for holding backfield/home objectives.

Things to remember when using these, use set first, and place the transfer over it, let dry for like 30 minutes or so, then gently apply a layer of sol.

Keep adding layers of sol once the last one dries until the clear edges of the transfer disappear and the area looks uniform, then apply a layer or two of varnish and job done

Usually 2-3 layers of sol are all you need

Microset let’s you put the transfer down smoothly
Microsol get rid of the edges of the transfer and makes it look more natural
The varnish will get rid of the gloss

although wood can be seen as a flex in 40k too- wood will be more rare than Gold in a space setting

Bought a few packs from perrys miniatures for turnip28 and holy shit its cheap. A box of over 40 models only cost 18€. Quality might not be the same ofcourse but still, that is sooo much cheaper

I’d probably drop the disco as he can’t buff vehicles really anymore Vashtorr is personally the better choice, otherwise that’s quite a lot of points for them both

Also maybe put some forgefiends in there? They are very nice firepower

From my experience havocs are great but can’t quite go toe to toe with tanks anymore, maybe gear them up with a bit more bias to infantry perhaps?
