lieutenant helmet stripes is crazy hard even for me of you want to achieve smooth outlines. Very little room for mistakes. The tape basically shows you the outline of where you should keep the boundaries (I wouldnt recommend painting over the tape either) since soaking can happen.

Eh, it's still a WIP, so improvements will be made. From what I've seen in other artwork, Perturabo had a more pale complexion, but I didn't have any brighter flesh tones other than Kislev Flesh and Cadian Fleshtone.

I’ve been eying up a primarch model, what’s the quality like? Was there much cleaning up you had to do etc?

Nothing that couldn't be cleaned with a bit of warm, soapy water and a toothbrush. There is a lot of detail to this model that I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with.

I'll be using super glue to piece him together, but for the mock-ups, I use a bit of blue tack just to see how the pieces fit together before I glue them

Resin is a bit of a pain, not too bad for the minis I’ve done with it. The problem is getting a superglue that works

And can be applied precisely enough

Just don't go nuts on shader... just use a small/medium size brush and just take al little of shade on the brush... if it doesn't look good just do another layer ^^

So I really like the imperium (unhealthily so) and I was wondering; can I make an army made of multiple different Imperium units? Like Space Marines, Guardsmen, Admech, Sororitas, etc? I’d love that

The only armies where you can is having imperial knights as attached to other armies

in earlier editions you built your army with detachments which could be from different factions as long as the had the same race keyword, like Imperium or Tyranids, and thus you could have a detachment of space marines, a detachment of guard and a detachment of sisters if you wished and had enough points to spare. This edition they've moved away from detachment restrictions but you can only take one detachment for an army

which makes list building a lot simpler and tbh more fun when you can have more what you want and aren't forced to pick and choose from units that you might not want to even buy

only restrictions for number of units are that you must have one warlord character, and max of three of any other unit, six if it is battleline
