So I just clipped random pieces off and attempted to put them together, breaking a few in the process

I fucked up and glued one of the feet on the wrong way, so it wouldn't stand upright
So my boyfriend suggested getting some rocks out of the garden and gluing them down to make a raised base so it'd look like a more deliberate pose

After that I gummed it up with Agrellan (both of them) and slapped some Blizzard on so it'd fit in with the rest of my Eldar bases and bam

Slapchop is just making Contrasts working to their best capabilities by undercoating in greyscales. Technique for a quick usable undercoat is drybrush. 🤓

You can technically do that also with normal Minipaint if its thinned properly and or airbrushed. Contrastpaint was just more or less designed for that with its pigment density and viscosity somewhere between a layer color and a shade.

Working in the coating industry, knowing 1 or 2 thinga about the whole thingy, but i am no technician or color engineer.

A good rule with FW resin is that if the model is newer than 5 years it ought to be just fine

like the ones that have been coming out the couple last years have been very good qualitywise

Depends on what your average is in your country, because of how super glue works, some countries only have a very specific type

but yeah, thats fair, I personally use rubberized CA myself

My area is too moist for super glue to last long unfortunately

so the tiny bottles tend to dry out in a day

I also cant use it if its raining
