as long as they are properly closed they will last for some reasonable amount of years

the problem with citadel paints are that they are badly designed so paint pools and dries in a place that stops the lid closing fully

so make sure you clear out any dried paint deposits before closing them and they will be completely fine for when you return

also even if paints do start to dry up a bit, theres quite a long way before they become unsaveable by adding in more solvent

that will be completely fine as long as the pots are left properly sealed

i mean when you return they need the shake :D

because the pigment and solvent will seperate out

but ive had some citadel paints going strong after 4 or 5 years

its just that dried paint issue

that you need to be careful of

scrape that out with a small hobby knife or something

Found what I’m gonna use for my fallen MOP

All the iconography is easy enough to remove, the shoulder pads are separate, and I can put a DA charm over the scraped off BA symbol on the chest

Maybe a head swap too

Just a small warning as someone who worked with that model recently, there's grooves in the right shoulder pad which are there because of the backpack design. If you replace the shoulder pad you will have to cut or sand in matching grooves to get everything to fit up right

Hm, realistically a suit of power armor would need some kind of substantial power supply to work for any length of time, but it's arguable if a top heavy backpack with giant vents would be the ideal shape for that.

At least evolution seems to have determined that carrying extra fuel in an even lair under the skin and around the belly and butt is the best compromise of storage and mobility.

So clearly the power should be provided by huge armored butts.
