Space Marines are a very powerful and highly trained tools of war with very strong equipment and armor that enhances their combat prowess
Despite this, space marines are not perfect. They can be outsmarted, even physically tested by some exceptional warriors/soldiers. They can be funneled into traps, shot by melta and plasma guns, krak grenades can burst through them, power swords can split ceramite like butter and explosives overall are a gotcha for them.
A squad of veteran guardsman can dispatch a single marine or even a small squad, it really depends in a lot of shit. Marines can die even to spears.

They have keen hearing, sense of smell, better vision and tactical knowledge due to their intensive training.
Their helmets enhances those senses with night vision and infra-red termal vision.

But Chaos Raptors are usually mutated marines who are in a cult called Raptor Cults. They can worship any deity/god, from the chaos gods or the mysterious Raptor god which we have no info on it
