I finally ditched my super spam Diablo 4 build for something a bit more 'skillful'. Before I'd just play piano, thousands of clicks per minute to spam abilities mindlessly. Now I just run up to enemies, drop like 50 traps from stealth, go back into Stealth and run to the next pack of enemies with some cheeky dodges n shit if I get caught in a bad spot.

the kantrael lasgun was the only weapon I used for my first 8 months playing the game both during the pre-release beta and on release cuz it was the first godroll I got so I know that weapon inside and out

Infantry Lasgun is eh because of the reverse damage falloff in a game that has the vast majority of engagements start middle and end in close range where it loses damage. Then coupled with poor ADM vs Flak by default and an Infantry Lasgun is losing on half their damage trying to shoot Flak in close range

You can kinda get around the Flak weakness at least with Rending Strikes +10% rending and Chink in their Armour +15% rending at 10+ stacks Marksman's Focus but the reverse damage falloff still hurts

Why do they have to have any specific weapon? Just add 'em, i wanna be a big goatman, i dont care about any specific weapons since half the time the class specific weapons are whatever anyway, not to mention everyone shares most shit anyway. If a beastman class released, i'd be happy with just a pair of dual wielded axes at that point. The main draw for me are cool abilities and unique looks for classes, weapons are cool and all too, but secondary considering they drag their feet adding new weapons half the time as is
