I quit a long time ago but it was 'good' but it's gotten a lot worse the last time I played.
The main issue was how 'health' worked. You had to kill everyone in the tank or blow up something REALLY important. So some tanks had 'swiss cheese' armor and it could be really annoying. Also it was not very consistient, the armor model had a lot of flaws.
The 2nd main issue is that balance is determined by how well a vehicle does, not its actual stats. So you saw some weird matchmaking.
Final issue, the last time I touched it about half a year ago. They gave up on all accuracy. You WILL have missiles shot at your tiger 1 tank. You will see cold war vehicles zipping around against mid-ww2 vehicles because of some weird reason.

The entire game is unbalanced as hell and only gotten worse. It's still 'skill based' but there are a ungodly amount of flaws and it is possible to lose to no fault of your own. CAS in ground battles has been a major issue for a long time and remains unfixed. Combined arms is almost not existent it's just aircraft showing up in your tank fight without warning.

There are two-man tanks but they told to be on the small side.
