I have over 2,000 hours in Darktide and have cleared HAVOC difficulty 40 countless times. Yet I cannot give this game a positive review in its current state.

The developers only ever nerf players. For years, underperforming weapons have received no meaningful buffs—the few that did get improvements are still nowhere near viable. Meanwhile, they keep nerfing the small handful of weapons and talents that actually function decently in HAVOC mode.

I have legitimate reason to suspect the developers lack a deep understanding of their own game. Instead of buffing weak, rarely-used weapons and talents, they only listen to the so-called "experts" on their own forums and keep nerfing whatever is popular in HAVOC.

I have 1,000 hours in the game and still haven't installed a single mod. I don't even know how to or what mods would be good to try.

once you get the sounds down you can dodge most things without looking. it feels amazing

ive heard people say the guarantee mods are essential but i dont run them, so i wouldnt say any are 100% but there are some really nice to have ones
