It's weird because running at an angle to avoid fire is one of the worse things you can do. You want to move fast as possible because good marksman can counter fancy manevers via leading and you don't your main strategy to be hoping the enemy can't aim. Granted, it's always that but unless you got john wick it's very hard to get a bead on a target with only a few seconds to react.

So IRL things like powered armor and shields that allow you to survive some dude camping in a bush would be a major advantage. The easiest way to lose a vet is to a strike they never saw coming.

Because there is a mod that adds red subtitles when a enemy makes a sound que which I am tempted to get. Not outright spider sense, you still need to 'hear' a sound que but it makes it more obvious.

THe only mod I ever used was the weapon custormization mod because the iron sights on the vigiliant were awful. Loved the hellbore ones but the vigiliant were weird.
