The in-game economy is a god damn mess the repair/service cost are used as a fucking balancing tool. Like a vehicle? Well other people do, so it cost too much to use unless you want to swipey swipey. Also the game wasn't really designed for Modern Warfare but they said 'fuck it' and did it anyway to the point we now have aircraft and tanks CURRENTLY IN SERVICE in modern militaries as part of the game.
