Having tested expeditions on all difficulties, these are my findings:

Malice is easy and also has higher level players speed running
Heresy has low level players who are clueless and eat glue so you have no one watching your back
Damnation has a mix of the players who dropped difficulty from auric and newer players so it can get challenging
Auric is either easy with a good team or a nightmare with a bad team
