My opinion of this mode after a few hours of playing was going to be entirely positive, until I ran into one mission-losing issue: Bots can prevent opening the escape gates, since the majority of the team has to be nearby.

God, allied bots are such a detriment to survival.

For me the mode is great because it changes the core loop a lot~ It's no longer survival of waves and 'killing effeciently is king'. It's more 'planning a smart route and working fast is king'. You can skip lots of combat with some moves and just focus on good routing. Feels good. And the time pressure also adds spice here. I am sure given time people will get better at the whole time management aspect.

No. Scum isn't fragile at all imo. I go down on Scum less than most other classes. I guess it also comes with definition of Fragile. Scum cannot take big hits but has extremely easy time avoiding them.

i can dodge correctly most of the time, but every mistake is punished severely. that's what i mean by fragile

Other classes feel so slow after playing with scum. With high mobility weapons the +50% dodge distance is so ridicolous that ledges become your scariest enemies 😅
