From what I remember Arbites is still pretty insane, so either them or Ogryn. Hivescum and psyker are also really good but take a lot more learning than playing as Arbite where you're a walking tank that does a ton of damage and even if you stand there picking your nose still contribute with your dog

Regular GL and backpack is still much more viable than the belt fed. Like the belt isn't bad but there isn't much reason to use it

It's really not, it doubles the value of every single resupply call down

And gives you your own personal resupply when it's off cooldown
