no idea but my own plasma gun build while pretty damn powerful, feels like shit to run. Not because it's a bad gun, but because the plasma gun just handles like a hunk of fucking iron. It's an ultra greatsword in the form of a gun. All in all I'd say between the heat mechanic that has you explode like a psyker, the ridiculously long reload, and how unweildy the thing is in general, being able to kill a boss in 3 seconds isn't much of a feat. The firerate on the thing isn't great either

Plus, as someone who's played ws vet with plasma numerous times before it just became a snorefest to use, I really have never actually experienced the handling being so bad that it actually offsets how ridiculously powerful it is currently

All you really need is to just be mindful of your positioning and the handling is easily circumventable

I take Inf Lasgun into Havoc 40, with a Power Sword and smokes. Hell I run Chainaxe (with Weapon Specialist tho), Folding shovel and Power Sabre with it many times as well, it really works...tho despite being H40, a lot of ppl still can BARELY melee.

I want to be good with infantry las but I'd honestly say it's better on zealot than veteran in my experience.
