It is more ranged focused, but melee is always a requirement. Veteran can be built to be a hybrid focusing on switching back and forth between melee and ranged.

Snub revolver is the go to quickdraw option for people. Can be found on any class. Zealot vs vet vs psyker is mostly ability preference, the game is being designed so any class can specialize into any “role” w the ramped up weapon crafting
