Ive seen people use the mk6 knife and spam push attack in high havoc and after using it in the meat grinder i see it does good damage but is it really better than the mk3 also why does people use the knife so much what makes it so good

I saw a psyker use his fire staff in bursts rather than hold a full charge down is that more efficient or something? Also that same psyker then switched to melee after using fire staff started spamming push and an entire horde of armored targets including crushers all immediately died the entire feed was his kills what kind of tech is that or is the dude straight up cheating?

I also see so many people spamming slide and combing the slide with melee attacks and they move so much faster than everyone else how does that work?
